Reddit mentions: The best no show & liner socks for women

I just started using these by Hue recently, and I absolutely love them. I forgot I had them and found them at the bottom of my closet, but man was it a great surprise. They are great for my flats, so they're perfect for my TOMS too. They have quite a bit of the rubber on the back of the heel, and I usually have socks that slip off while I'm walking. I almost forgot I even had these on.

Another great pair of socks are these called Lynt and they're made here in Oklahoma. I know the guys that started this up, and they are extremely comfortable too. I was given a free pair when I helped them with an event, and I thought they were just normal socks. They don't slip and are perfect for my TOMS too!

Another great set of socks are these by Tipi Toe. I like them a lot, and they come in cute colors, but for some reason some of the socks slip and some don't. I'm not sure why that is. I used to have issues with them slipping all the time, but I haven't had that problem the last several times I've used them.

You can pick them up pretty much anywhere in the womens sock dept by the trouser socks. These are from Target I think?

These are pretty great. They're not very thick but I like that. Very breathable and no tab. I wear a size 5.5 or 6 and they fit well with plenty of stretch.

These pretty socks will go perfect with my favorite Mary Jane shoes.

There's a few things we can do with this kinda getup that keeps us looking feminine. First off for tops, the V-neck polo might be a good option for you (layer it over a cami if the v is too revealing). For pants, high-waisted ankle skinny pants are a great option. For shoes, you have tons of options, but I've always been a fan of pennyloafers and no-show socks.

I bought these exact touchscreen gloves and they have been a godsend. No more cold hands while messaging in the snow!

I also have these leggings in the snowflake pattern ! Though I don't think I bought from this store. The design is the same so it should be the same...

They've since sold out, but I have boot liners similar to this one. Really helps keep your feet warm when you're stomping through puddles to an early monday.

I've just started learning how to balance my statement pieces too, so I totally understand! I also know that feeling with the converse. I wear thesen athletic socks. They're a little thicker, which helps a lot. Your converse will also be easier on the ankle after they're really well broken in, or at least that's what happened with mine. These might help with the Toms as they're pretty thick, but shouldn't be visible. Good luck!

You could maybe try cutting off some old socks or stocking too.

However, the importance of shoes that fit properly is the real point. Do they need softening? Stretching?

This is kind of a dumb quesiton but whatever. I have pretty small feet (usually a size 5, but sometimes 4.5, depending on the shoe). I feel like "no show" socks (this style, not the really tiny style) are not no show on me. Like they come up over my ankle bone, instead of being under it like the models in that amazon picture. Does anyone else have the same problem? Do I just need to convert to the really tiny socks if I want "no show"?

I'm also considering knitting all of my socks by hand, because I am an insane person.

I usually wear toe cover/cushion things like these which covers the part of my feet that have the most issues in certain shoes. Having that thin bit of material in between my feet and the shoes makes a huge different. If I'm wearing shoes that don't work with those, or for different parts of my feet, I use this stuff. I sometimes need to touch up during the day, depending on how much I'm on my feet, but it really helps prevent blisters.

Sheec SoleHugger socks are the best I've tried! They have grippies on the inside and outside of the sock and never show with my flats or heels, and I don't ever have the sliding issue with these like I've had with others. edit: grammar

They have varying levels of "no show" that you can buy, in many colors. I love them. You can get them in the sock department of most department stores or Walmart/Target.

What brands did you try? I use these ones from HUE (they come in nude or black) and they work great.

I have had a lot of luck with Mabua socks. Don't ever slip down the heel, just the right thickness. Big fan.

Hue no show socks are worth a try - they have grips on the back and won't fall down. The only issue with them is they're so thin and sometimes boots fit better with thick socks.

When it comes to no-show socks, I prefer the ones made of actual sock material too. Hue makes a version that's mostly cotton with a silicon back so they don't slip away. They don't tear easily and they hold up pretty well over time.

I look for ones like these that are low enough for a smoking slipper/flat and have a silicone piece at the heel. I also don't buy "one size fits all" and look towards ones that are divided into small/large categories. When I leave the house in the morning, they will unclip from my heel once or twice, and then they are good for the rest of the day.

I can't decide if these are silly or cute.
