You're welcome, good luck with it. Some more thoughts also --
a - Re. Amazon Music. If Google Play is preventing you from installing Amazon Music, try installing the APK directly from APK Pure or APK Mirror or through the Amazon Appstore (the last option may require you to first install the general Amazon app on your phone).
b - Re. mirroring. You mentioned your phone has a "mirrorshare" button/setting. What happens when you push it? Do you see a (empty) list of devices it can mirror to? Or do you get an error or nothing? (Also, is it labeled as "multi-screen" If so, I assume it should mirror successfully to smart TVs with mirroring and to Chromecast ?)
c - Do you have any smart TVs that support screen mirroring? Your phone may be able to mirror to them, just to test out your phone's capabilities.
d - Microsoft's miracast Wireless Display Adapter gets a lot of love for easy screen mirroring. So if you have to choose between Chromecast and Microsoft's stick, Microsoft's may be a better fit for you.
Aw shucks is correct. The app u/instantbitsapps made called web video cast is excellent. I'd love to see it on iOS. Very active Dev updates the app frequently.

Kind of... Not sure if the Fire Stick has any different capabilities than the Fire TV but yes I did get it working but the results were kind of laggy. Now granted I was trying to watch my friend play WoW on his TV so maybe it was a graphics card issue or something but it's worth a try I suppose.
I used this:

And this:

Just install Air Receiver on the Fire Stick and Air Parrot on your PC.
> Support AirMirror. The best screen cast performance on Android. Fully support IOS12 and the latest Youtube video.

I don't have it or use it but am basing it off this review
> I installed this on older models of the Fire Stick and it worked very well with easy installation and operation. Then I installed it on a Fire Stick 4K and it failed to work and locked up my phone. I emailed the developer and got a return email within 3 minutes. They responded: "Please change to 1920X1080 and use TextureView in AirReceiver advanced setting. This setting works best on firetvstick 4K." I did that and restarted the Fire Stick and my iPhone and all worked very well.
I don't know that you can. Don't see it on either Android or Kindle. Searched help and found this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201614430
You can listen to Prime Stations from your music library on the Amazon website and Amazon Music for PC & Mac. Just open the Prime Music tab and select Prime Stations. Pick a genre and select a station to start continuously streaming Prime songs from that category.
Nothing about the app. Yep, won't work. Amazon Music Player requires full Flash. Tried both Chrome and Dolphin browsers on my Kindle, both times got a flash popup. Clicked on it, sent me to Adobe and it said device not compatible. You can choose the station, the player looks like it is there, but where the song should be it says "No songs playing"
I thought maybe you can add the station to your Prime Music from the computer, but all I can see is adding individual songs to your library.
OK, as an option, find a playlist you like. If you add the playlist to your library, you can access that through the app. Prime Playlists are under any playlists you have created. At least on Kindle, don't see it on my older Android phone. I may not have the most current app there though, need to check.
There is a newer app: http://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Music-with-Prime/dp/B004FRX0MY/
Don't see anything about stations, but I can't install it to check.
VPNs don't really work on the Play Store afaik. It might be easier getting it from the Amazon app store instead.

I used to use it with Tunnelbear and it worked fine. Just make sure your VPN and Amazon account are set to the same country.
You might want to know that with this $5 app on our Fire TV 2 AirPlay/DLNA Receiver (PRO) we can Airplay with little to no problems. Sometimes I need to restart the APP, but that's about it. Regardless of low score reviews, we've had great success casting from iPhones and iPads, Macbooks, they all work just fine.
There is no built-in AirPlay, but there are several apps that add the functionality. The one I use is AirReceiver for $2.99 ($1.19 w/coins). It works great. Even supports display mirroring and OS X mirroring from a mac.
im pretty sure this app supports chrome cast type mirroring. i bought got it for the airplay compatibility and it works great. i’ll check the settings to be sure but if you look in the description is says it supports google too

This is the best solution. http://www.amazon.com/x5434-x6C5D-AirPlay-DLNA-Receiver/dp/B00LAT7QV6
But I run into den issues with some apps like YouTube
The main reason: it has a menu system and a remote; no phone, tablet, or computer needed. Real access to Amazon Instant. Also gets you access to lots of compatible Android apps in the Amazon store; one of the more useful apps to me is one that enables AirPlay for my Apple devices.
Also, better hardware: dual-band wifi (instead of single), dual core cpu (instead of single), twice the ram, four times the local storage. Also supports Miracast.
Best Buy and Staples are selling them in-store for $25.
In order to airplay you'll need an app like this.
I use a program called Splashtop to mirror from my windows pc to the FTV.
But you could also sideload a browser like Firefox along with Adobe Flash player and play videos straight from the FTV.
I've used this app with very good success, sending AirPlay video from my Mac or iOS devices, to my FireTV:
https://www.amazon.com/x5434-x6C5D-AirPlay-DLNA-Receiver/dp/B00LAT7QV6
I use this for airplay on my iPad and iPhone. I have never had any issues with it. I see a lot of reviews saying it doesn't work but no specifics. I recommend it especially for the $2 they want now, I paid $5 and still think it is worth every penny.

It's not the Chromecast but if you have a Firestick just buy this app for $3 directly off the amazon store it works fucking nice. app link! I'm mirroring my iPhone 6 ios 9.3.3 currently and it works without an issue.
I got Airplay running on my Amazon FireTV (costs $100) perfectly using the $3.00 AirReceiver app (http://www.amazon.com/x9F99-x65B9-x513F-AirReceiver/dp/B00L5HQRGS). Also the FireTV comes with an app for Netflix, and I have installed XBMC as the main launcher.
While not relevant to the AppleTV, I have a suggestion for those with Android set top boxes looking for Airplay solutions.
This app has worked flawlessly on my FireTV for two years now as an Airplay receiver. It works exactly like an AppleTV does as far as Airplay in concerned with all features supported (Audio, Video, Screen Mirroring, Extended Display).
There may be free options now that work just as well, but back when I first bought this app it was said to be the go-to for anyone looking into this functionality. Can't vouch for anything else.
AirReceiver works pretty nice an is available directly from the FireTV Amazon Store, if you have AirParrot on your computer then you can mirror your whole screen on the FireTV and also mirror your iOS device, on the other hand if you sideload XBMC you could use AirPlay too but without the mirroring feature.
I use AirParrot on my PC and then an AirPlay-compatible app on Fire TV (I use this one and like it best of all the options on the AppStore).
I had a similar issue, tried underground but that didn't work. so I looked around and find the link for it. Just go download it
https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Music-with-Prime/dp/B004FRX0MY
This should work.
Cheers,
Hmmm... not sure why you can’t find them, but they’re definitely there!
You can download apps to your device from the web. Try this:
Netflix
https://www.amazon.com/Netflix-Inc/dp/B00OGRMULA/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Netflix&qid=1564241950&s=mobile-apps&sr=1-1
Spotify

Have you tried this one? It works flawless with iOS 10.
It does not just search airplay on the firestick and that app allows you to airplay it’s like 3 bucks it works well. airplay
I use this one and it works great. My fire TV is hard wired though.
AirPlay/DLNA Receiver (PRO)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LAT7QV6/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_cHFkub0YKHZHJ
I have this on the FTV: http://www.amazon.com/x5434-x6C5D-AirPlay-DLNA-Receiver/dp/B00LAT7QV6
And this on the MotoG: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bubblesoft.android.bubbleupnp&hl=en
Works well for me although I mostly use my iPad.

I use this app to mirror my phone to my fire stick it works pretty amazingly.
Today I come with various requests ;) All for Android
1st. Amazon Music:
https://www.amazon.es/Amazon-com-Amazon-Music/dp/B004FRX0MY
2nd. Football Manager Mobile 2018:
http://www.footballmanager.com/es/games/football-manager-mobile-2018
3rd. It isn't am exact app, but any app +18 with videos in HD from the famous pages of that world? 😏😏
Have you tried updating it through the Amazon App store?
https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-com-Amazon-Music-Android/dp/B004FRX0MY
I'm doing it with an Amazon FireTV, and Airplay Receiver UPNP - casting from my iphone.
Ok, after doing a google search, I found this link for AirReceiver https://www.amazon.com/x9F99-x65B9-x513F-AirReceiver/dp/B00L5HQRGS
Note that this is not perfect and doesn't support everything an apple tv supports. If wifi speed is not very good, mirroring doesn't go very smoothly. DRM content such as amazon video or netflix won't work, but these are already supported by fire tv natively. I use it mostly for videos from Safari, or just music playback.
As redundant or silly as it may sound, the app is called "Spotify Music" on all of the other app services:
https://www.amazon.com/Spotify-Music/dp/B00KLBR6IC
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/store/p/spotify-music/9ncbcszsjrsb

Ive never had any issues using this app for both my macbook pro to firetv and also iphone / ipad

AirPlay/DLNA Receiver (PRO) by 吴汝 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LAT7QV6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_udp_awd_8tc5wbHYMRMJT
It's not free, but it's not ridiculously expensive…
http://www.amazon.com/x5434-x6C5D-AirPlay-DLNA-Receiver/dp/B00LAT7QV6
I know it works. And it works well. It's only a mirror option though, so you can't use your device while watching a different app.
I'm on an SE 9.3.2, bit I've mirrored an iPad Air on 8.0.4, and an iphone 6plus on 9.0.2, and an iPod touch on 9.0.2
They all work the same way and they all work well
You can also try before you buy if you just download the apk and side load it. It will eventually do a license check though and stop working.
Just buy it through your fire tv interface $5
https://smile.amazon.com/x5434-x6C5D-AirPlay-DLNA-Receiver/dp/B00LAT7QV6?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_d_detailpage_o00_ For one.
Haven't used it. Not recommending :)
If you want the Reflector your Fire Tv have to be rooted. I can walk you though the process.
But for AirPlay/DLNA (PRO) can be downloaded at Amazon App Store.
Search of it on you Fire TV or at this following link :
http://www.amazon.com/x5434-x6C5D-AirPlay-DLNA-Receiver/dp/B00LAT7QV6
