I'm sorry - I made a mistake! The Moisturizing Bomb is actually in [squeezey-tube type packaging] (https://www.yesstyle.com/en/belif-the-true-cream-moisturizing-bomb-75ml-75ml/info.html/pid.1060679344) (which I am still excited about, but isn't accurate for what I told you). It was actually a different moisturizer that isn't available in the US that's in a [proper sealed jar-type packaging] (https://www.yesstyle.com/en/belif-the-true-cream-water-bomb-75ml-75ml/info.html/pid.1061866549). It's called the True Cream Water Bomb, not the Moisture or Aqua, which is interesting! The TesterKorea site has a different picture now then when I checked earlier, or maybe I just misread - they do have the larger 75ml size, but the link shows it in a tub. I'm sorry if I got your hopes up!

Oh wow, I love Faceonomics! That blog has been so, so incredibly helpful; I've found some of my favorite skincare off of her recommendations! I agree, she really does have amazing skin. :)

Thanks! My great-aunties still press oil in an old-fashioned way - what they describe in [this link] (https://www.thoughtco.com/ancient-history-of-making-olive-oil-4047748) under "Making Olive Oil" and "Olive Press Machinery" is close. We didn't press olives, but the process was pretty close. Now my mom has an oil press - something [like this!] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004H2SDTM?ie=UTF8&tag=udfblog-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B004H2SDTM) :)

My fiancé Ryan is my favorite person. He's my best friend and a great dad to our daughter. He works so hard to make sure we have everything we need and he's always there for me. He loves me for who I am flaws and all. I feel like sometimes I take him for granted but he's just really awesome. He loves growing stuff and he'd love this and this. :)

Get your dad the nice wallet, and fill it with gift cards and/or cash and a picture of yourself and your sister! It's fun to open more presents, so a few small thoughtful gifts in addition would be great. I'd probably just go to the store and go by how the wallet feels in picking one out?

Your sister sounds like the hardest one to buy a gift for. Maybe she'd like an acer chromebook http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00MMLV7VQ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00MMLV7VQ&linkCode=as2&tag=frugalplaygr-20&linkId=OD2H3JXO3LVWHJXC
Or a coffee bean plant http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ND7DTK/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000ND7DTK&linkCode=as2&tag=frugalplaygr-20&linkId=UJMSPW6SQLVNQR4Y

I'd suggest going in together with your sister on the gifts for your parents if possible. So it seems like it's not a competition to get them the better gift and your parents will be proud of you guys that you are able to get them something so nice.

The absolute easiest oil to produce at home with absolute minimal effort is going to be sunflower oil. Sunflowers practically take care of themselves once you stake them, and can be grown in almost any climate zone and in abundance. Once they're done, chop the heads off before the birds get to them. Getting an oil press will net you all the cooking oil you could want for a year shy of needing large amounts for deep fat frying. About 1.5 Kg of seeds gets you about 1L of oil. Make sure you plant a high-oil variety, usually the stuff advertised as bird seed grade "Black Oil Sunflower seeds" is what you want.

The best part is, sunflower oil is pretty tasty in dressings, has a high smoke point, and is super relatively healthy for you as far as oils go.

Extra bonus: You will attract birds (good or bad thing) and you will attract pollinators like bees.

u/serpentcroissant · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

$.68 free shipping! :) and i love roses and want to try to plant some.

$13.96..prime eligible i believe. i want all the professor layton games :) they are super fun!

u/AndyWarwheels · 1 pointr/gardening

The link to your photo is not working.

It is hard to answer most of your questions without that link.

But a few I can answer.

As far as herbs go. You can do a lot of these in doors on a window. Only grow herbs that you are going to use, mint is really easy, so is basil, so are chives and garlic.

I just bought these seeds for my garden for this coming fall, winter, and spring 2017.

I have never used this company before but they have good reviews. If you plan on going organic I would get some neem oil right off the bat as it is a great natural defense for your plants and it is better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it.

What kind of fruit are you thinking? Strawberries?

u/jasonw86 · 1 pointr/lawncare

I live in NY, but I also have a clay like soil. Our winters get colder, but summer is about the same. I bought this and it was amazing. Takes a few weeks to germinate but it was fantastic and really held up well this summer with 3 dogs running on my grass.

u/roopert5 · 2 pointsr/succulents

Someone else posted a link to amazon. It must be pretty popular since it’s not in stock right now. I bought one earlier this week and am eagerly waiting for it to arrive

This PR class is nuts.

My favorite class was my college public speaking class. It wasn't like a normal public speaking class where you just gave speeches though. Everyone sat in a circle, and it was like a discussion. But there was rules:

We couldn't talk about anything outside of the class.

We could only speak for ourselves.

We had to give examples of specific interactions for everything.

No theories, no hypotheticals. No closed questions.

And we had to address a specific person in class every time we talked.

It was awesome. The first few classes were awkward... but then people started understanding why the rules existed. It's really hard to explain but people got to know each other in a new way, instead of asking the same old questions. It was interesting and unique, and I wish more classes were like it, my professor was awesome.

u/710rosinmaker · 1 pointr/BubbleHash

Yes it is. I have the bubble now which I got second hand but I also purchased one of these Bubble Made Easy Machine 6gal Machine https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00NLWBWEM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_eiprf3HIfaTQ9
To help speed up my washes and I notice very little difference in quality.
Would recommend both but I believe the bubble now has slightly better build quality.

u/N1ck1McSpears · 2 pointsr/polymerclay

Looks like monstera deliciosa

I’m obsessed and dying to get one. But they’re poisonous to cats so I have to have a high shelf first lol.

Looks great I love it. r/houseplants would love it if you want free karma 😏

u/szor · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Congrats on your new job!

I feel like we have a lot of similar items on our wish lists, but the only item we both have is CAH.

I'm pretty sure you would like the following things from my WL:

  1. Dino earrings
  2. Living stone plant
  3. Dino fossil cookie cutters!
u/MCubb · 3 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Whew! So I worked to try and get as close to 20 dollars as possible with as many things as possible! LOL. A lot of fun just to do that! So here's the list!

I am not a mushroom hunter (try /r/Mushrooms/ ?), but here are some ideas -

u/caffekona · 3 pointsr/succulents

Here's the Amazon listing. It had super good reviews and these guys exceeded my expectations!

Pack of 8 Live Mini Exotic Lithops Plant Seedlings Perfect for Lithops Starter Great Terrarium Addition FY2017 Seedlings (Pack of 8 Seedlings) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CKWZCPR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_jLxMBb2F4AQMR

u/scaperoute · 81 pointsr/succulents

Amazon! This was my first time ordering any plant online and was super paranoid about purchasing from a third party Amazon seller but everything about it went fantastically. Nicely packaged, good variety (as you can see), and it came with some little decorative ladybugs and a few extra seedlings, a handwritten note, and some care instructions.

u/Somnif · 12 pointsr/gifs

Unfortunately shiitakes are a bit trickier. They grow best on hardwood logs (oak or the like) in fairly cool temperatures and quite a long time. With work they can grow on "fake logs" but I wouldn't recommend them to a first time grower. It takes a bit of experience juggling temperature, humidity, and air exchange that is best done with another species.

Oysters, on the other hand, will grow on damn near anything. I've seen grows done on phone books, money, even a stuffed bra once. Only thing to watch out for is spore drop. Oysters put out ridiculous amounts of spores and if you are the least bit allergic (or even might be) you do NOT want to attempt growing in your home.

If you just want to experience the fruiting part of the process, you can buy little "grow your own mushroom" kits many places these days (My local grocery store carries them sometimes) for about 20$. This is a block of already-colonized substrate that you just fruit. Quick and simple, its a good way to get your toes wet with minimal expenditure. http://www.amazon.com/Back-Roots-Organic-Mushroom-Farm/dp/B00CD0KZ78?ie=UTF8&keywords=mushroom&qid=1463901150&ref_=sr_1_1_a_it&sr=8-1

Right then, on to the links! Best place online to find mycological information is shroomery.org . Its focus is largely on illegal mushrooms but they have a large and well curated gourmet/medicinal section as well.
https://www.shroomery.org/forums/postlist.php/Board/13

The north american mycological association also has a website with a fairly well written step by step guide through growing oysters.
http://www.namyco.org/cultivation.php

We also have a few fungus friendly subreddits here too!
https://www.reddit.com/r/MushroomGrowers
https://www.reddit.com/r/mycology/

And to round things out, an imgur walk through that would end up with a bucket very like the one in the video up above. This fellow doesn't pasteurize his substrate (risky, but thats his choice) but beyond that the process is more or less the same.

http://imgur.com/a/hjU0o

I can post more/better links when I get home. This work laptop has the horsepower of an anemic wood frog so its a little frustrating pulling things up.

Just interesting

Those look pretty good with multi fans, I have 2 of these in 2x4

So I have been wondering this myself lately, I currently have 2 of these in 2x4

https://www.amazon.com/MEIZHI-Spectrum-Hydroponic-Greenhouse-Growing/dp/B01HFZ3PC2/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492479611&sr=8-1-spell&keywords=mizhi+led+grow

5w LEDs, compared to 3, and they are cheaper than when I bought them at 69 bucks. I think they draw actual 130watts, I just added 2 CFLs to pick up any missing overlap, but so far they are looking good! I think I want to switch to COB though from what I have been reading, boost out a few more watts, not really into the DIY though,

16,500 Non GMO Heirloom Vegetable Seeds Survival Garden 40 Variety Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B017YET9K6/ref=cm_sw_r_apap_o6ldvOKW3UUX9

I bought this, this year. Last year I bought from herloomseeds.com they grew awesome but I'm still pretty new so picking was hard, this year I'm checking an easier route. The seeds from heirloom were amazing though, after transplanting tomato plants in solo cups I set 4 on the edge of my garden because I had too many. I neglected them, but all 4 fruited with big tomatos I couldn't believe it!

GHOST PEPPERS!!! easily under $5 and goin to be some good fun growing and maybe eating them

u/zania734 · 1 pointr/DesignMyRoom

I'm not sure those colors scream tropical... Those are more kind of nautical to me? Like I immediately think anchors. But that could just be me! What about loosely this pallete? You can always tone it down if it's way too bright for you!

I would keep the walls white or light gray (like the color you have on the left for walls). I would totally do an accent wall with some sweet ass wallpaper like this, this, or this. I would keep the couch a neutral color this some of these pillows and do a couple of these babies with these pillows. Add some Monstera plants. Add some accents of subtle pinks and oranges around and I think it would look gorgeous!

Blackbery Seeds $0.69! Hoping to throw these guys in my back yard and have blackberries for years!

And for the EXTREME nerd in me: $19.99 a classic Batmobile model kit!! cause who doesn't want to assemble their own sexy Batmobile? :)

u/the_riles · 1 pointr/lawncare

Thank you so much! This was really helpful. I see the Q4 on amazon for $30 but am worried about my dog. The crabgrass is really everywhere, and I still want her to be able to have some of the yard to walk around on. Might just have to wait till the frost hits to kill it off, then reseed early next spring, and lay a pre-emergent down.

I bought this type of seed and this fertilizer on amazon today. Do you think these will work? Now that I think about it, the grass I bought might be too dark to match the good grass in the front. Also if the grass is fine for my area, why does it turn yellow in the winter?

I did an at-home soil test recently and everything came back at average levels and didn't tell me much. Perhaps if I send the dirt off to my extension it will be more conclusive.

Thanks again so much, I really appreciate you taking the time! Lawncare is overwhelming for the lamen!

u/Gullex · 2 pointsr/MushroomGrowers

You can spend $20 on one of these pre-made mushroom "farms", or you could spend ~$100-$300 on a four tier greenhouse, humidifier, controller, fan, timer, pressure cooker, substrates, still air box or glove box, grow bags, etc.

Or you could spend many thousands on a grow room, laminar flow hood, and all the fanciest supplies. It's up to you. You can really invest as much time and money as you want. You decide your own level of involvement. ;)

Temperature for growing depends on the mushroom but in general is around 70F-ish. Some like cooler temps, some warmer.

u/megankmartin · 7 pointsr/houseplants

I'm going to offer a slightly different suggestion because I know how much kids like to interact with their projects. "Interacting" with plants often means watering...and thus possible death, and disappointment. I also know that many kids tend to lose interest in things that aren't "doing" anything, like slow-growing plants.

So... how about growing a mushroom kit, or herbs of any kind from seed? There's a lot of daily, visual gratification from growth and change. In the case of a mushroom kit, you actually get to water them quite often because they need it. It's so satisfying. Our family had a great time with that earlier this year.

For a true houseplant, though, I second the recommendations for ZZ and pothos. Pothos grow faster, at least.

I will assume it's a crap light only because they don't offer any information as to output and what not. These blurple lights usually have high blue spectrum and crap red spectrum.

It seems like budget is something that is important to you, did you look at either of these lights?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HI3AFYM/ref=psdc_14252941_t2_B00RWQ4B50 <-- the lights are 3000k Lumen, which is exemplary for flowering and great for vegging. However, it too does not give us any info on efficiency and output. But right off the bat the 3000k will outperform the UFO blurple.

u/KetInducedPsychosis · 6 pointsr/mycology

Ya man. I’ve been growing for 10+ years, but since I’m an adult now I wanted to do some non-psychedelics. Instead of going the whole route of inoculating jars and making a fruiting chamber and stuff, I just went into amazon and bought a few grow kits. Depending on the type of fungi you wanna make they grow on different substrates (ie saw dust for shiitake cuz they grow on wood, or wheat, whatever). Anyways, when you order you get a bag of substrate completely colonized by the fungi mycelium. My shiitake log all I had to do was soak it in water overnight then stick it in the fridge for 24hours to start the fruiting process. After that I placed it on a plate in a cold spot in my house (needs to be under 75 degrees Fahrenheit to not grow mold) and covered it with this little plastic bag with holes it in to keep humidity in. It came with a little spray bottle and you just spray it a few times a day. I just did it in the morning, lunch break, after work, and maybe before I go to bed. Once they started pinning you water it as often as your able. In about 5 days they were all fully grown and I plucked em. Now I let the log dry out for a few days, then I dunk it again in water overnight and put it in the fridge then BAM another flush. Supposedly can get up to a pound over 3 months from just one.

The oysters are a little different. Just cutt an X in the bag and place it near a window and spray it as often as you can. Once I saw them grow they were ready in 3 days. Literally growing an inch or more a day.

Here’s the ones I bought. Keep in mind when your more experienced you can use their substrate that’s colonized to do a bulk grow and can harvest TONS at once.
