I was looking for something similar for a while. I ended up getting 3M command strips, and using those to attach to a cut piece of over-door hook that worked surprisingly well. Clear too so not really noticeable and mountable just about anywhere. If you needed a pic I could get one for you. Also 3M has a spice tray that works pretty well for a standard controller but not so much on an elite. If you shop around they should have something that would accommodate an Xbox one controller nicely by now..

Edit: I know from experience that these work pretty well. The medium size holds a ps4 controller nicely, as it's a bit more slim-lined. I would think the large would be close to perfect for an X1 controller. I can also provide a pic of the medium size of you need it.

Something like this or this could work. The reason I went this route is so I wouldn't have to drill into the walls, and easily moveable as I move my room around often. Good luck

I’ve had good luck with these

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JMXKX5M/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_-iH5BbHDHQBZ0

They look pretty nice and I just tighten them every couple of months by hand and they stay up great. I have a nice big tiled shower and didn’t want to drill through the tile.

I used a blooming bath lotus inside of a laundry basket until she could sit up, then I switched to this inflatable tub. She's 1 and we are still using the tub every day! The inflatable saddle horn was really nice because as soon as she could sit supported she was able to use the tub. I wasn't a big fan of the lotus thing but it has good reviews so maybe that was just me.
My biggest tip for small showers is to get a hook that you can use to hang the tub from! I got these adhesive ones and they have been holding strong for months. I hang it from the little drain hole in the tub. It is sooo much nicer having the tub up and out of the way when we want to shower. Out of curiosity, why would you put the baby tub outside of the shower? I keep it inside the shower. It will be very hard to drain and you will probably get water everywhere if you keep it outside of the shower!

I was inspired (tired of leaving camelbak on floor) to create (cut, paint, sticker) a wall mounted rack that expressed love for my favorite sea creature.

HOWTO
1)Purchase of vinyl wall decal on Amzn for ~$25
2)I cut a profile around the decal 1" offset and traced it to mdf
3)Sanded mdf edges and rechecked fit of vinyl
4)Painted with Lowes primer+paint and waited 2 days to dry
5)Applied vinyl decal
6)Attached hooks
7)Hung on wall

I'm happy how it turned out and would recommend it to anyone needing a wall mounted coat rack. I'd rate the project difficulty of 2 out of 10 as the only difficult step is cutting the mdf with jigsaw and rounding the edges with router (or alternatively using sand paper). The rest is relatively straight forward with only simplest of tools required.

This might be stupid, but why not just use one of those 3M command hooks? They hold really well and you wouldn't have to worry about how to screw into the plaster. Would easily hold a leash and harness and they have metalic looking ones that are pretty nice: https://www.amazon.com/Command-Double-Nickel-1-Large-Water-Resistant/dp/B01C60C4FU/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1518910748&sr=8-4&keywords=command+double+hook

This is just a few seconds of searching from a random internet stranger, but look for a few of these at your local wal-mart. Also, I always thought that CO was heavier than air, but apparently it is slightly lighter than air. This suggests that CO detectors should be placed rather high, on the ceiling if possible. If you're in doubt, just place one as high as possible - if you get a reading, use an extension cord as a temporary way of measuring the levels in different locations, high or low. (I'm not sure how quickly the sensors update, you may need to rig a way to hold the sensor in place for a few minutes, try these things.)

Best of luck to you and your friend! (Maybe get a detector for her as well... though it sounds like you're more affected than she is.)

Also, keep an eye out for /u/RBradbury1920, he left post-it notes for himself, it turned out to be a side effect of Carbon Monoxide poisoning. (Only 100 PPM, apparently.)

Edit: How close do you and your friend live? There might be something in the environment doing this to both of you, such as a gas leak or something. But if so, then other people might be noticing strange things as well....

HASKO accessories Powerful Vacuum... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078Q57Q3D?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

These have worked amazingly well. Our tile is kind of textured and they have been holding strong!

I was remodeling my bathroom and came across a similar issue plus I had limited space. My solution was to just use a fancy looking robe hook and hang my towel there. You could actually get a few on a wall like in a jagged line or something to get more than one towel up even if you want to get decorative or if you want an actually robe hook present too.

I used something similar to this for my normal towel and then I used the same thing and attached it to my bathroom cabinet to hang a hand towel near the sink.

Suggestion: You can try taking a metal wire like something from a Chinese takeout box, bend one end into a hook, and attach it to a cup. One probably won't hold so you can try taping several together.

EDIT: Maybe a hook like this might be far enough from the wall or maybe one of those toilet paper roll holders that you can suction to the wall might be far enough. Or even a standing toilet paper holder - the one with a little basket for a trash can at the foot and a hook at the top. I don't know how much you're willing to spend for this.

EDIT2: Did some searching using /u/gothickornchic's suggestion and found this!

Was just about to say the same. They even make shiny ones.

Good luck!

The customer questions are pretty funny, too.

Thanks! I got a snap fastener set off amazon (100 Sets Snap Fastener Kit Button... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07C9W41GC?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf) and an exacto knife then prayed I didn’t slice into my fingers and gave it a shot! Weaver leather supply had a pretty easy tutorial on YouTube that I followed.

Struggled a bit with rounding the edges but not sure if I wanna spend the cash on a set of strap end punches... right now just playing around as a light hobby. :D

I would love to see your set up if you're willing to share a picture! My only concern with wall hanging is that the planter will run into the wall hanging at a slant right? I'm also interested in lush plants like a boston fern or philodendron, but I would assume they would be more than the 7 pound limit. I found these hooks that claim to hold up to 22 pounds but I'm unsure if that will even work.

u/Jag94 · 1 pointr/hockeyjerseys

These are the hooks that I used.
So far they're holding up well.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N7ERMVM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The wire I got at home depot. It was cheap. Also had to get ferrule and stop sets to create loops on the wires. Cheap and easy.

There you go! Cheap, too!

u/captain_tedious · 2 pointsr/photography

For the last 2 1/2 years my photography work space has been a spare bedroom that did double duty as sort of miscellaneous storage dumping ground for the rest of my family. I've been working on cleaning it up/out and getting everything organized for the last few weeks and it's starting to approach a respectably usable work space.

A big change was getting an under-desk mount for my desktop tower and an arm for my monitor, which freed up a ton of desk space for me. Next steps are putting a bunch of these up for all my camera bags, and devising some sort of system for where to hang my test prints.

u/Jaivez · 2 pointsr/cscareerquestions

If a whiteboard is light enough for magnets, it should be light enough to hang on a sliding mirror door without damaging it with cheap hooks like these sort(attached upside down) if there's room to slide them in at the top. I've always just used velcro command strips on the walls though.

You could also get a telescoping tension rod and stick it in a window recess and hang one from there then put them both away when you're not using it.

u/konkatenate · 5 pointsr/DIY

It says the item weight is 14.5lbs. I put a ton of different things in using toggle bolts with ceiling hooks, some much heavier than 15lbs. iow, you don't need a joist. You can use the holes you've already made: just make them big enough to accept the toggle.

u/ryguy_013 · 7 pointsr/AskEngineers

You could get something like these

Heavy Duty Vacuum Suction Cup Hooks (2Pack) Specialized for Kitchen&Bathroom&Restroom Organization, by iRomic https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MR6FH6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_I3k0DbPVBAAV3

And attach them to the wall on the opposite edge of your bathtub and then lay the other side on the edge of your tub. Or get 2 orders and (assuming your tub is wide enough) attach them to both sides of your tub
