Avoid the Fulla line, it's flawed. I've had defective units of each, the volume pot gets dirty quite easily and it causes a scratchy sound when changing the volume.

Audioengine D1 I didn't like because the volume pot is digital and it changes in increments instead of smoothly.

Monoprice is very meh. Chinese mass produced stuff, like your E10K, often doesn't hold up. Same goes for FX Audio (btw, that one is sonically flawed, too), and the SMSL M3 (sounded great to me, but has high output impedance, and high gain so not suitable for IEMs).

My preferred companies are Geshelli Labs and JDS. Schiit I don't personally recommend because their customer service told me to do business elsewhere when I returned two of their faulty units.

You can likely find a secondhand O2+ODAC for less than $100 easy, or Atom + OL DAC within a budget of about $150. That would be my recommended pair. If you need a line out for a desktop amp, you can easily build one, or grab this guy with the appropriate cables.

If you made a junction from before the hot water heater and split it with a 3 way switch let you choose between whicb was getting the power to it at the time to make sure they never worked at the same time I think you would be ok.

Definitely no. The wiring inside that is probably only 14 gauge, and the switch and plug are rated for 15 amps max.

But, if you're comfortable doing that kind of wiring, it would not be difficult to connect a double pole, double throw switch that's rated for 30 to 50 amps:

I hesitate, but there's this. I don't know if it's UL approved. If it causes a fire, how liable are you? I don't know.

Here a switch I was looking at for a DYI. It let's you switch the power between the dryer and car. You wire the power into it, then the dryer on one side and the car on the other.

But I ended up having an electrician install a new outlet. It's the safest way to go. I suggest you don't do anything unless you've consulted an electrician.

I sourced almost everything from Amazon. Here's a link to those rotary dials: Nxtop 6mm knurled Shaft 12Pin 1 Pole 11-Position Selectable Band Rotary Switch 6 Pcs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DCKJZQ5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_tKnYDb34VPYZM

What are you talking about? They're just simple metal pins with either a plastic ball or a key ring style loop on the end for pulling out.

They come in different lengths also. The paint scratches are from the metal tip.

This is the switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K86HDC4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm just going by what's in the reviews and Q-and-A section, seems there's something on the inside that only lets you turn it to 4 positions. Unfortunately I'm not 100% on the pinout.

I think I see what you're getting at it, but I'm just realizing I may not have explained my situation correctly. This is an RCA switcher, so it has inputs (and an output) for video, left audio, and right audio. So I guess if I didn't want stereo, I would connect the left audio inputs to the outer ring of the rotary switch, and then the output to one of the inner poles? Would I need a completely different switch if I wanted both left and right?
