I have this one which works fine, this is my holy grail though.

The issue is that the hooks in the trunk aren't designed to hold a net, they are just for hanging bags. The hooks aren't secured to any metal part, they are just attached to the trunk liner. The Honda cargo net has an installation procedure that includes drilling into the body and adding rivnuts.

I looked at this a long time, and decided on a collapsible storage container that would fold up and sit on the floor of the trunk between the wheel wells.

If you don't have the all-weather trunk tray installed, this has 3 velcro tabs sewn into the bottom that will stick it to the carpet so that it won't move.

Have you looked at the cargo storage tray OEM accessory?

Here’s the ones I was looking at. The price isn’t too bad.

Just an FYI, think of the kind of people who would break into cars. They have a gamblers mindset. "That jacket might have a wallet, that backpack might have a laptop, that hoodie might have cash, that box might have tools"

Leave NOTHING visible in your car that might make a thief want it. Doesn't matter if your in a private lot, or on the street. Hide your shit, dont leave stuff in your rear.

Or buy something like this, and leave stuff under it.

Having the same situation on my 2012 Xterra X. bought myself one of those cargo carrier jobbies http://amzn.com/B00SUTHIVM and it's been doing the job of containment but now the entire bin is sliding around and it's annoying as hell.
