Not OP, but 99% sure it's this one. I bought this a month ago and I LOVE IT.

edit: it might be a bigger one for ultra wide monitors

u/sm4k · 3 pointsr/DIY

99% of what we watch now is fed via a Roku 2 XS that is mounted to the back of the TV. The upper ethernet is what feeds the Roku. The remote it comes with is Bluetooth, but it also supports RF and IR. Last night I was playing with a Harmony universal remote, and I didn't have any problems with the Roku picking up the Harmony's IR signals, even when stuck behind the TV.

More to your question, the HDMI feed to another room was originally so that I could locate my Xbox in a closet, but I'm not 100% if latency to screen is going to be an issue. The Xbox controllers are RF, so IR is not a problem there. Here is what I installed, I could always replace it with This one if I needed IR to work.

You could build your own pretty easily by converting a similar sized cabinet with rails, I did this a long time ago in a walk-in cupboard and a pair of rails that I bought from ebay, something like this, cut them to length, screwed one to the wall and another between 2 shelves with some L brackets. Very easy to do with a bit of creativity.

I got one of the mounts above for the bedroom where we use a similar "full motion" mount for swiveling the TV between the bed area, and the area where our treadmill and exercise bike are. It is a bit weird looking when the TV is swiveled, but I just mounted it where it looked OK when the TV was in its "normal position".

This one might work better if you have larger or heavier devices:

u/fat_deer · 8 pointsr/GoRVing

Do you actually have this RV? Or checked out the inside?

Mine has the TV mount in a weird spot, but it's on an arm that can unlock and swing out.

If you like everything about that trailer except the TV mounting location, you can get swingarm mounts for cheap:

https://www.amazon.com/Mounting-Dream-Lockable-Earthquake-MD2210/dp/B077Z7NVBK

Just make sure you get one that locks so it doesn't flop your TV around while you're moving.

Do something similar to TV safety straps.

How far away are the speakers from the wall? Screw an eye hook to the wall and another to the back of the speaker and connect them with picture hanging wire. Might want to do two for each speaker, one high and a lower one to keep the bottom from swinging out if the top swings on the wire.

Similar to but longer than HOW TO INSTALL SAFETY STRAPS.

Or floor bases.

Dunno how I feel about this. I really want to like it. Look at the reviews on their other products, though.

It all seems normal until you go to actually read them, and they all have "Five Stars" (with that exact capitalization) as the title. And all of their products on Amazon are similar. Obviously they bought some good reviews.

u/red286 · 1 pointr/bapcsalescanada

Unfortunately monitor mounts tend to be really hit or miss, at least for the cheap ones. I can recommend an Ergotron without hesitation, but they are expensive AF. I've also sold a fair number of Amer mounts and haven't heard any complaints, but mostly they've been standard desk mount units, so I don't know how well something like this or this would stand up, but it should probably be at least functional, if not as good as the Ergotron.

u/oddsnsodds · 2 pointsr/malelivingspace

I'm back to answer your specific question of whether a smaller monitor would help.

The problem isn't your monitor, it's the monitor's base, so you could get a new monitor and mount it off the desk to have more desk space. The new monitor could be any size, even larger, and you can probably find one that's thinner.

There are a lot of ways to mount it. To totally clear your desk, you could mount it on the wall, or a desk clamp would leave you with a minimal base on the desk:

https://smile.amazon.com/VIVO-Monitor-Adjustable-Screens-STAND-V101C/dp/B071FX6H53/

There are a lot of 22" 1080p monitors. Many don't have a VESA mount and it looks like you'll need a VGA port (?), so check their specs carefully before buying one:

Only with a monitor arm. I got this one and it works great:

Here's a pic.

I've got this mount holding the ACER XB270HU on top and this mount holding the Asus VG248QE on the bottom. I used only one of the posts and bolted it through the top wood part instead of using the clamp. Barely fits both!

u/sendme__ · 2 pointsr/battlestations

Not op but probably something like this

u/Supernormalguy · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

Would this case work with AIO coolers like the Corsair H100i and a Hybrid GTX 980Ti?

I'm moving to another home with my wife and currently our set up is a 6 foot table with our accessories (Monitor,KB&M, Speakers, headphones) and then to the right is a dresser where both our towers are on.

Our towers are S340's and the room we are getting is about 2 feet smaller so I was thinking of probably installing some shelve's above our monitors and putting the desktops there OR using one of these which is what I'm currently using on my PC at work.

So is there any other case that's wall mountable?

u/Ron_Fuckin_Swanson · 3 pointsr/DesignMyRoom

If you got some nice black out curtains for the window, you could put the tv in front of the window.

And if you can find a stud in the ceiling, you could ceiling mount the TV

u/Nemothe1st · 10 pointsr/xboxone

Get a TV riser. That's what I did.

Something like this:

u/Kerkero · 1 pointr/DIY

How about skipping the wall and use the ceiling. This is what i used to mount a tv in a conrer just like yours in my house.

for the LG Ultrawide I am using this the the other two 27 inch monitors I used these

Here’s a link for tv straps that just hook to the back of the tv stand.

u/millerswiller · 3 pointsr/DIY

Exactly. I've got 2 roku mounts taking up glue-free real estate behind my TVs.

http://www.amazon.com/TotalMount-ROKU-Mounting-System-Compatible/dp/B008B1125W

u/hawku · 1 pointr/dirtgame

What do you mean by not set up for Eyefinity? I'm using NVIDIA Surround, which does the same thing as the AMD Eyefinity.

My field of view setting in DR is 0.2, which is already too wide for a realistic cockpit view with my current monitor setup.

My monitors are mounted on a fixed triple monitor mount (http://www.amazon.co.uk/NewStar-FPMA-D700D3-Flat-Screen-Mount/dp/B0072LX8WC), so i can't use wider field of view in a realistic way.

u/404ClueNotFound · 2 pointsr/Roku

You mean the TotalMount?

I have one and it works fine, but it blocks access to the Roku's USB port (which I use for movies). If you don't use that port, the TotalMount does exactly what it's supposed to and keeps the Roku out of the way.
