Awh, that sounds like a good night, at least. I mean, at least you weren't stressed out or running around and you were able to relax together, albeit doing different things. My boyfriend and I usually have our respective Me time as we mostly stay in and hangout with each other. We're both pretty broke right now, too, so until I get a job we won't be doing too much of anything. I LOVE to bake, and he loves to eat my baked goods, so I would definitely want to bake something for him! Perhaps some tasty mini filled cakes that are root beer float themed-root beer flavored cakes with a creamy vanilla filling. (He has requested that flavor combination to be included in one of my next creations.) Or I could make some mini ice cream sandwiches! Ahhh they're SO cute! These ones are adorable, too! Vanilla cookies with orange cream ice cream, because we just found a half pint ice cream maker at the thrift store (still in the box sealed, $7!!) and I want to use it for something adorable. Of course, if I were baking I would need an oven mitt so I didn't burn myself =P My favorite mitt got a hole right between the thumb and the rest of the mitt. Fail. Let's be honest, this freaking mixer would make my LIFE, not just my night, but that will just have to wait until I win the lottery or something. ;P
After baking, we could both lounge around and I would make some cool crafts. I have been wanting to make coasters using these dyes and/or these dyes or these ones and alcohol on some ceramic tiles. Look! How freaking awesome, right?! Cool times. (How old are your kiddos? These would be SO much fun to make with kids!! Have them sign their names in sharpies with the date!) Plus then our wood coffee table won't be ruined. So, you know, that would be good. While I'm crafting he would certainly be playing some video games. He has been lusting over Dead Space 3 FOREVER. (So, if I happen to win and it is within the budget, that is the top item for me, because I know how happy he would be to have it and I can't afford to get it for him right meow.)
While waiting for the crafts to dry I would play with my kitties. This toy is awesome looking. Once the kitties were all tuckered out, I would seal the tiles and then I would absolutely want to paint my nails. Boyfriend would still be playing video games so I would sit next to him on the couch and paint nails and watch him own. He's so good at shooting games, I love watching him play! I'm sure he would be eating some of the fresh bakery, too =) I would paint them this most amazing green color EVAR with some glitter on top. Then, because I don't know when to stop with anything having to do with my nails, would add these super freaking cool studs to them!
After all that I would be pretty tired, so I would just lounge around on the couch waiting for my nails to dry while he inevitably still played his game. lol. Yes, this would be perfect me time and him time and us time and just a perfect night in! This is a really cool contest idea! <3
Sounds like fun! I'll have to do this later
1.) Something that is grey: Pelican Gray Nail Polish. (on private WL)
2.) Something reminiscent of rain: Shower Curtain is a barrier between the bathroom tiles and cascading, rain-like, waterfall that flows from the showerhead. (on dream WL)
3.) Something food related that is unusual: Candy Mold. Chocolate frogs, anyone? (on under $5 WL)
4.) Something on your list that is for someone other than yourself. Tell me who it's for and why. (Yes, pets count!): Ice Cream Maker. No ice cream for me because I started keto last week. My friends and family would benefit from this when I make them some delicious ice cream. (on dream WL)
5.) A book I should read! I am an avid reader, so take your best shot and tell me why I need to read it!: The Knife of Never Letting Go. It's book one of the Chaos Walking trilogy, which has rave reviews. Apparently it's a dark, dystopian book full of suspense. (on high priority WL)
6.) An item that is less than a dollar, including shipping... that is not jewelry, nail polish, and or hair related!: Laser Finger Beams (not on WL)
7.) Something related to cats. I love cats! (keep this SFW, you know who you are...): Westside Warrior Nail Polish. Lions, which are really big cats, are warriors of the jungle. (on under $5 WL)
8.) Something that is not useful, but so beautiful you must have it: Origami Star Paper. I like folding these, but once I make them into stars, I literally have nothing to do with them. There's jars of them all across my house and all I can do is look at them (on under $5 WL)
9.) A movie everyone should watch at least once in their life. Why?: Song from Iron Man 3 Soundtrack. Everyone should see it because Iron Man + Tony Stark + RDJ = <3 (on digital WL)
10.) Something that would be useful when the zombies attack. Explain.: Spin-the-shot. If zombies attack, I would need to be drunk, so this would come in handy for some last minute fun before I turn into a brain eating zombie. Let's face it, I'm not surviving a zombie attack... (on $5-$10 WL)
11.) Something that would have a profound impact on your life and help you to achieve your current goals: Coconut Oil. Everyone on the keto subreddit raves about this stuff. Being a newbie to this lifestyle, I feel that if so many people had great results using this oil, that it would help with my goals. (on $11-$25 WL)
12.) One of those pesky Add-On items: Anti-stress face mask (not surprisingly, found on my add-on WL)
13.) The most expensive thing on your list. Your dream item. Why?: Globe Bar. I would feel like a super cool James Bond-esque spy who would have a secret room hidden behind a bookshelf. Plus I love alcohol and globes. (on dream WL)
14.) Something bigger than a bread box: Desk Easel. (on $11-25 WL)
15.) Something smaller than a golf ball: Earrings. (on private WL)
16.) Something that smells wonderful: Pink Punch Baby Lips (on add-ons WL)
17.) A (SFW) toy: Kindle. I would consider this a techie toy. (on dream WL)
18.) Something that would be helpful for going back to school: Fun Colored Pens. (on add-on WL)
19.) Something related to your current obsession, whatever that may be: Paints. My current obsession is painting! (on $11-25 WL)
20.) Something that is just so amazing and awe-inspiring that I simply must see it. Explain why it is so grand: Mug. I love love love this literature mug. I not only love the varying typography all over it, but I think that there are some really striking first lines of literature. (on $11-25 WL)
BONUS
1.) Real name: PM sent
2.) Made in Oregon: Handwarmer Mug
Edit: raffle phrase - fear cuts deeper than swords
Shes' gonna need a wig
And a good set of goggles
someone needs to wear these maybe even her...
You should decorate the lab with this
These would be great to fill with candy as party favors
.... or ....
TEST TUBE BUBBLES!!!! These things are touchable bubbles. PRO TIP: USe ONLY OUTSIDE. Shit makes a mess on the carpet. Easy to vacuum... but still...
Crazy cookie cutters which are perfect for this!
Temporary tattoos
Atomic super balls would be fun too!
A jello brain mold
Biohazard bags for party favors maybe
A geyser aka mentos/coke mixer for kids. That looks fun enough to get for myself. lol
Gravity goo something I would also play with. lol
Insta-snow seems like a good experiment for kids
I should stop now. I used to love planning my kids parties when they were little. Damn them for growing up.
I use either a food processor, a stick blender, or just mash some things like squash, banana, avocado and sweet potatoes. I roast lots of the root veggies or tubers (carrots, parsnip, sweet potatoes, etc) and steam most everything else. I also do larger batches and freeze them using these baking molds. Each little square is about a tablespoon, once frozen, it's super easy to pop them out, store in a ziplock and I'll be able to use the molds in the future for baking once we're done with purees.
For meat I steam or saute and then puree as well as I can in the food processor. LO doesn't mind a bit of texture so meat is usually still a bit lumpy. I then make tiny meatballs and freeze them on a cookie sheet and store in a ziplock bag.
When getting food together for a meal I just pull a few different things out and make some mixes that sounds good to me. Carrots with sweet potatoes or parsnip, peas with chicken, plums and oatmeal. I also give her avocado and bananas, which I just mash up as needed. We also add a tiny bit of spices sometimes. We have avoided cinnamon though since it is a pretty common skin irritant in babies. Some of it is trial and error, but it's such a small amount of food it's doesn't feel like you are wasting it if they don't like it.
Also, just a heads up but it's pretty common for babies to get constipated when they start solids. Make sure you are offering some water. We also always make sure we are giving her a "poo friendly" food at ever meal. These include peas, plums, prunes, peaches, pears; super easy to remember since they all start with "p" as does poo, haha!
Good luck and enjoy all the fun faces when you LO is trying new foods!
To add to everyone else, please get a scale. Are you new to this? Stay away from essential oils and milk till you get at least some YouTube videos on it down. I would just toss this batch because it's hard knowing where exactly you went wrong. Also, start small. Your batch is like 9 pounds and not many people start out that big. My first batch was 2.5 and I used individual soap molds. If you cook in that pan, you can't anymore. You might want to toss it. Get a wood/silicone mold for soap. It's going to be hell trying to get soap out of there. Also, if you really wanted to keep that as a soap pan, line it with wax/freezer paper to make it easier to get out. I'm sorry there are just so many mistakes here and maybe watch some videos by SoapQueenTV and Soaping101 on YouTube or pick up a few books. I'm not sure who inspired you to make soap but please please please do more research. You need to read up on lye, get a good soap calculator, read up on essential oils, safety, what to use for molds, oil properties...everything. I put the there because I want to mention that one ounce of lavender wouldn't have done much for that recipe. It would have most likely fade very fast.
Don't let people scare you off of using a ton of cocoa butter. I've used it up to 50% of a bar and had something decent. Your bar would not have come out right either way. Nothing in there would have created a lather you needed and it might have been semi-soft for a long time. I recommend getting some coconut oil, investing in Palm Oil/Lard/Tallow for conditioning and lather, olive oil, and castor oil to boost lather.
Here are some of those helpful links:
I know there's been a ton of BEC posts, but I was really happy with how easy and fast this was, mostly due to the silicone "bun" mold, and silicone egg rings. You don't need to even spray the mold and the buns/cookies/whatever just pop right out. I'm terrible at baking so this method is a bit of a personal triumph. I use these all the time now.
Takeaway: Next time, I'll make the buns even thinner. They had great structural integrity. Don't worry if your batter comes out somewhat thin, it will form up quickly.
Net Carbs: 2.5 (5.5 with a little ketchup)

I use a Soxhlet extractor with Everclear (95% ethanol) as the solvent. Then I add water, and distill off the ethanol to reuse. From 25g of ground dry jalapenos, I end up with 250ml of flavored water. For a less potent batch, you can make due with juice from a jar of sliced jalapenos, which is how I used to make them.
I use two sets of these for a recipe, and almost fill them. I've been playing with different ways to get them into the molds. A polyethylene squeeze bottle for candy making works well but gets hot, so I suggest using gloves. I've recently started using a Polypropylene syringe which seems a bit easier.
The honey takes the edge off for a while and then, as the sugar fades, the spice kicks in. They are a great way to clear the sinuses. The gelatin doesn't hold up really well if they get warm, so I keep them in the fridge. Between the cold and the honey, they keep for a good long time.
Hello Beautiful Bombshells!
I see 1987 Members...not quite 2k as of yet. That was a good year :) The year I graduated high school and made the decision to move from Indiana to Florida.
I woke up bright eyed and bushy tailed at 5 am after hitting the sack at 9 pm and not waking up a single time during the night. Yahoooooooo! Thank you so much to all who responded to my frustration with explaining why I'm not starving myself to my husband. I sent him a long email explaining what was happening with my body and articles to back things up (thanks u/BRC_haus) that I was sent, as well as more that I found. I think he gets it now. Who knew it just took me explaining things? I guess we're never too old to learn over and over again that communication is the key :)
I also OMAD'ed yesterday. Dinner was Crockpot Mississippi Pot Roast with Cauliflower Mash and Roasted Delicata Squash (roasted with butter, sugar free maple syrup, thyme, salt & pepper). It was not a pretty plate (or picture). but man was it damn tasty. I actually ate the fat on the beef and enjoyed it. Normally I spit it out and give it to my dog :D I also had a SlimFast Fat Bomb Snack of the Peanut Butter Cup, as well as a Pumpkin Pie Fat Bomb. I made the recipe (I got 24 fat bombs even though the recipe yields 12 because I used a smaller silicon mold) and froze them. Hubby hasn't really been eating them, so they'll last me for awhile :)
Today is hair day! I need a touch up on the purple so bad. It's faded to lavender and I can't wait until it's dark purple again. I hope ya'll have a wonderful Thursday and KCKO! XOXOXO
I had posted this recipe in a thread here a little while back and am pretty happy with them:
I’ve been making no bake bars that are really easy and pretty tasty:
1 oz herb, decarb for 25 minutes at 250 F
Move into double boiler with 2 cups clarified butter, you can also use coconut oil.
Simmer in the butter for 2 hrs, strain and press the bud to squeeze out all of the butter, discard the bud.
To the melted herb butter add:
400 grams honey
350 grams smooth peanut or almond butter
5-10 grams lecithin (optional)
Let that melt and mix together over a double boiler then add:
6 cups oat flour
5 Tbps raw cacao powder
1 Tbps salt
Pinch cayenne pepper (optional)
You may need to add a little more oat flour if it’s wet, up to an additional cup.
Mix together well and let sit 20 minutes before moving into molds (I use these)or a brownie pan. Refrigerate until solid and enjoy :)
They freeze well and can be eaten straight from the freezer due to the high fat content.
Honestly, the "recipes" aren't complicated. It's mostly cutting and punching. A few tools go a long way.

Spend $30 on those tools and these lunches should take 10 mins to assemble in the morning. One of my biggest challenges is keeping a variety of foods on hand.
Today I broke my dresser by attempting to use it as a step stool to get to the top shelves in my closet. Why was I using my dresser as a step stool? Because I couldn't afford a step stool :| Which means now I get to buy a new dresser, and until then the drawers are just stacked up in the back of my closet.
So, as much as I hate my most useful gift being a gift card, a gift card would really really help put a dent into the $60+ I'll need to spend on a dresser soon.
A real, actual item that I think is very interesting (and entertaining!) is The Princess Bride <3 And for a useful item, this silicone brownie mold solves the problem of who gets the edges and whose piece is bigger :-D
/u/TrashyTripod & /u/gotsmile, you guys are going to laugh at how easy this is.
There are recipes online. Do a little googling about what soap ingredients have different effects, like I did a rose oil (omg, the scent!) and rose clay soap, which is good for skin, or honey and oatmeal which is more exfoliation. Some are better for dry skin, oily skin, or just neutral.
I buy everything from Amazon:
------------
How To
The soap base breaks apart into 1 inch cubes. In a microwave safe measuring cup, microwave 2-4 cubes in 30 second increments until melted. Stir in any oils, perfumes, or colorants (although I avoid coloring soap, personally; I like the 'natural' stuff). Pour the appropriate amount into your mold. Working quickly, in the soap-filled mold, stir in any large add-ins, like charcoal or oatmeal. Wipe down the measuring cup, repeat as necessary.
Leave the mold out at room temperature to set. Give it time (6-24 hours). Gently remove from the mold and wrap in cling wrap to avoid moisture beads from forming. Later, put the plastic-wrapped soaps in a little goody bag with a piece of colorful tissue paper. FYI, the tissue paper will stick to the soap if they touch.
--------
Tips:
1 truclear syringe. I used GDP
1 unflavored gelatin packet
1/2 teaspoon corn starch
1/2 teaspoon lecithin granules (I had to get these at GNC myself)
1 jello packet, with sugar tho. 3 oz. We used blue.
Some measuring cups (1 large one)I got those molds off amazon these ones! It included the little syringe thingy.
and a good mixing utensil! Preferably silicon. A good saucepan also, I used a rather small one. Don't want anything sticking!

Recipe:
1/3 cup water + 2 tablespoons. Next time I'm going to try fruit juice. Put that into a pan.
Add the lecithin granules 1/2 teaspoon, stir well.
Add the unflavored gelatin. Stir that well.
Wait about 5 minutes for it to get really....gooey?
While doing this you need to get your distillate to be more runny. I chose to put mine inside a plastic bag, which I submerged in water. I pulled the syringe part off a bit so I could see how runny it was.
Move your saucepan to the heat on low. Stir it occasionally until everything is liquid (granules suck) but do not boil.
Once it's liquified, add a generous 1/2 teaspoon of cornstarch. Mix that well. IT will take a second until it's completely mixed in.
Add the jello packet and mix in.
Now you add and generously mix your distillate to the jello and keep the heat on it briefly while mixing to ensure it gets throughout.
Put them into the molds and refrigerate 30 minutes.
and finished!we used blue raspberry.
I personally, took the remaining distillate and submerged the whole syringe into my tea. Waste not, want not. Made about 130, around 6 mg of THC each.
I'd say probably this: http://www.amazon.com/Kotobuki-Plastic-Mold-Rabbit-Bear/dp/B002TZ04J6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1397DHHEDD03M&coliid=I5TWTTUX9MMJZ
I make lunch for our foster kids... and would like to say that these would be for them... but really, I love opening my lunch to fun bento meals!! :-p
Silicone ice cube trays or bite sized brownie moulds are great for smaller stuff like black beans. I have this one. The wells are the perfect size for a small baby portion, you can use a couple squares if baby eats more.

For larger things like sweet potato spears or baked pears spread them out on a cookie sheet, freeze then transfer to a freezer bag. If you put them directly in the freezer bag instead of doing the cookie sheet first they will all stick together :p

My favorite gaming mouse: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B06X3ZT78Q (also on my wishlist as I just got a new computer and need 2 - one for desktopn one for laptop). $18
And that take us right to the limit.

I'm sure she will love it, especially because you made it! Go YOU! My mini LOVES the poop emoji - and I found this at Joann's about two weeks ago. One 50% off coupon, and voilà - she's got a poop emoji baking mold in her Christmas stocking. LOL - I can only imagine the shenanigans that are going to come out of this!
I haven't tried gummies before. I'm actually waiting on a delivery from UPS today for gummy bear molds from Amazon. I got these from Amazon.
Planning something a little different than just using canna oil though...
My plan is to make shroom tea (I make a lot of mushroom edibles too), and use that for the 'water' part of the gummy recipe, and medicated coconut oil for the THC. The goal is to work out a nice balance of THC and psilocybin for nice euphoric "recreational" gummy bears.
I'll be trying them next week when I get a chance to sit down and make everything. If it works out, maybe I'll post the recipe here on /r/treedibles if it'd be welcome. The rules don't necessarily mention anything about cooking with other psychoactive drugs.
You honestly don't need to buy those overpriced and totally unnecessary copper molds. I'm a pastry chef and I make them all the time. I borrowed some copper molds once and even used the traditional beeswax method and I found there is hardly any difference between using copper molds and silicone. Get some silicone molds...they work great, they are easier to use and affordable. The only thing you need to remember is that they take longer to bake in a silicone mold. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0045U9Q6U/ref=redir_mdp_mobile?keywords=silicone%20canele&qid=1393987636&ref_=sr_1_3&sr=8-3&tag=delvkitc-20
EDIT: I'm pretty sure anyone who has invested in copper molds would let them go much below the price they originally paid for them anyway. I know I wouldn't.
Recipe:
•1fl oz infused coconut oil Calculator for dosing
•2fl oz water (or juice is what I use)
•like an 1/8th tsp of sunflower lecithin
•2x Knox gelatin envelopes (1.8g ea iirc)
•3oz (small box) Jello brand whatever flavor
•Tartaric acid (manufactured Citric acid is low key poison FYI)
•organic raw sugar
Directions:
Put infused oil and water in like a small candy pot and stir till they’re mixed up very well (try to keep as cool as possibly without the coconut oil hardening). Mix in the Knox gelatin thoroughly, then add the jello box and do the same. Next you just let it sit for 10-15mins for sugar to bloom or some shit, should be like thicc applesauce .
I like to go low and slow, I have a little copper pot that holds heat well so I want to gradually build up the heat till I get to my desired temps (I’ll us IR gun or candy thermometer next time to be more accurate).
On my stove I start at 2 on the dial and continuously stir with a little whisk for maybe 5-8 mins till it looks like it’s starting to melt down. Turn it up to 3-4 on the dial while still stirring continuously, another 8-10mins till it’s all melted down, it’ll get clear and get more syrupy if you let it drop off the whisks. Usually once I see a little vapor or if I stop stirring it bubbles at all I pull it from heat and keep stirring.
Switch the dial to LOW (want to keep pot pretty warm to keep goop from solidifying) and start filling the molds with a dropper that came with the molds. I usually have a helper because I have zero patience. One stirring, one filling molds. Makes the process a lot easier. i usually get 100-110 gummy bears. If you end up with more you didn’t cook it long or hot enough and they’ll likely sweat/weep.
Next I put them in the freezer for 30mins to an hour depending what all I have going on.
I have a cooling rack that I pop the gummy bears out on straight from the freezer, air dry (my ceiling air vent hits the counter just right to speed this along).
Toss the bears in a Tupperware with whatever coating suits your taste, Mine is usually around 1-1.5 tsp of tartaric acid and 1-2 cups of sugar mixed in (I’ll use this to coat a few hundred before I tweak it at all). Shake vigorously and make sure all get evenly coated. Toss bears in a sifter to clean up and back on the cooling rack for 15-30mins. Double coat if needed.
Should be find under 78-80°f ambient air, no sun. Store in fridge just to be safe til used.
Note on Fat Bombs: I've noticed the recipe listed on their website for fat bombs is different than the youtube video. I prefer the one on the website. But experiment around and see what you like best.
Enjoy! :D KCKO!
This is seal-iest contest ever.
I love animal puns too.
And I always do them on porpoise.
I usually can't stop myself and it gets pretty hawkward.......

Oooh, make her a mixtape! Buy songs that remind you of your relationship & purchase them on the Amazon Digital Music. Depending on what songs you choose--you could end up with enough $ left over to get a mix of things for her!
A cute bento box may also be nice choices. Especially if you whip her up a nice lunch to put in it! Take her on a picnic date! They also have molds for different types of food in the shape of cute animals.
Thanks! I love them so much. Here are the molds I got, which are almost the perfect size for one batch, I always have some left over to make a few more with another mold I have. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0744DG9JJ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1
VG is Vegetable Glycerine. It helps incorporate the reduced tincture aka FECO aka Full Extract Cannabis Oil into the gummy juice. And yes I have an electric burner just for evaporating tincture and decarbing wax. I used to use a glass Pyrex for that until one exploded on me the other day so now I use a metal pan. Good luck! It takes a few tries to get it down but I've never completely ruined a batch (except for when my Pyrex exploded). https://imgur.com/a/NUYEH
Pretty much what is in the link. My normal process these days:
Instead of a half-slice per cavity, you can also measure it out to about 10 grams of shredded cheese per cavity.
Brownies are easy to make, easy to portion, have enough butter to properly carry the THC & the chocolate helps cover up some of the flavor. They freeze well & are easy to wrap up if you're making big batch.
...and you can bake them in these things to make the portioning really consistent

(I hope that isnt too zombie.)
We have a lot of bulk food stores where I live, so things like the Jelly Bellies we'll be getting from there, and the other bulk candy!

I will be working alone in the office from 1:30pm to 8pm, after being at school from 8am to 1pm. No decorations or pumpkins even :(
I am going to see if I can wear my giant penguin onesye to school and work Friday to maybe be a bit excited, but haven't found out yet.
I am so looking forward to moving next year and having a normal houred job where I can actually give out candy for Halloween!
We do have plenty of candy to give out so hopefully my boyfriend will answer the door. I flew with a foster cat cross country a few weeks ago and prepped a bunch of little candy bags to apologize to anyone on the plane bothered by the cat crying, but the cat ended up not crying at all so I have a ton of candy lol.

Right on, rainbow 🌈🏳️🌈 I love it!
I'm bisexual and married to my cis male partner, so many don't see or know my queer side. My previous marriage was to a man... and then a woman as she transitioned during our 10 year marriage. We are still good friends and I consider her family. It bothers me that "normal" people assume we divorced because of her SRS. While that did add some additional issues to deal with, the main problems were just plain old normal married stuff - poor communication, a lot of time spent apart, financial stress, etc.
In my 20's and 30's, I was conflicted - I felt like I had to prove my bisexuality, that I wasn't just going through a phase or being trendy to the rainbow 🌈🏳️🌈 community. At the same time, I was also very worried about coming out TOO loudly because of possible workplace repercussions (government employee), especially when I'm married to a man. "Why bother making a fuss if it doesn't matter?" said one co-worker. But as I've gotten older and found more like minded queer and ally friends, and as I've gained more self-esteem in general, I don't care much what others think. Last year, on Twitter, I came out on National Coming Out Day - loud and proud.
My motto? "What others think of me is none of my business."

EDIT: It's been brought to my attention by my 16 year old niece that I'm actually pansexual. I guess I've always thought for myself that bisexual covered men and women regardless of how they identify.
Thank you :). I just used the molds from amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003VPW0V8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This was the first time I used it and could not fill it properly. They still came out pretty good. Re: whey protein, I am not really sure of all the details. I checked the nutrition when I was buying from a bulk section and it was low carb. But you might want to look at /u/DonkeyKongSenior 's recommendation of using heavy cream powder. That might be a good alternative too.
I have the same ones and they are great.

Great job OP, going to assume this was made using bud and alcohol?
Yes exactly! I have a bunny, fish, car, bear, etc. Just boil the eggs and pop them in there to cool in cold water and they turn out great. Egg molds! They're super cute.
It's on my 5 and under list.
My favourite part is wrapping presents for sure.
Batman and thank you for the contest!
2-30g scoops of vanilla protein, 6tbsp of cocoa, 6 tbsp stevia in the raw, 1tbsp coconut oil or butter. Whisk with warm water thoroughly. Take peanut butter cup tray. Add 1 half peanut per cup. Add chocolaty mixture. Makes about 60 cups. Freeze to desired consistency. I make this almost every night. Delicious.

> They argue equality when they want paternity leave, and difference when they want to be paid more prize money for sports.
I call this BS. Who do you think gets paid more sponsor money? The male figure skater or the female? Who attracts more attention? There you go! Same goes with porn.
> The equality and difference argument is banal. Equality would be cruel to men if they were treated equal to women: men’s genitals would be sliced up, annual rape of men would increase from 9,000 to 69,000, male prostitution would soar, men’s penises would be sprawled across page 3, men would stroll down the catwalk with their penises hanging out, and the Labour Party would roll out pink vans to attract women voters and blue vans to entice male voters.
> Equality is harmful to women and most men, as they are required to replicate behaviours that are degrading and dehumanising. Once women buy into the masculine terms of society, our civilization will become crueler than ever expected.
> Men hold the balance of power. Power is granted in the wrong ways, and used for the wrong ends. Change can come about by redefining and redistributing power, breaking down hierarchal structures, and reevaluating the criteria designed by men.

How the fuck is this woman a PhD candidate with such glorious ideas to deteriorate her own country?
You probably already found a solution, but I was just looking at these on Amazon. Looks like what you're looking for?
It is. I used an egg mold. Pretty easy. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002TZ04J6/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1409053743&sr=8-2&pi=SX200_QL40
Ooh. I got it! Get a couple of these brain jello forms.
Make a few blancmanges or jello molds! I'm pretty sure that's how they do it on the show. Check out recipes for blancmange online - you may need to add extra gelatin to get it that extra firmness.
I just ordered this candy mold to make some frog chocolates for my kids halloween party. $4.30 (w/ amazon prime) seemed like a decent price.
Oohh, those are both great ideas! I'll probably try them both.
Edit: is this the right mold? http://www.amazon.com/Cybrtrayd-A126-Chocolate-Copyrighted-Instructions/dp/B000EBMUNU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409682482&sr=8-1&keywords=mold+for+chocolate+frog
I don't make a "loaf" of bread substitute that can then be sliced, because you cannot actually get keto breads to rise. Instead I use this recipe to make very durable bread "slices" that stand up really well in sandwiches, mainly because of the cheese it contains: https://buttoni.wordpress.com/2013/09/15/gluten-free-grain-free-hamburger-buns/
I make half a recipe and spread it between 2 of these: http://www.amazon.com/Freshware-SL-116RD-3-Cavity-Silicone-Custard/dp/B004GJ8QSY/ref=sr_1_7?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1427819171&sr=1-7&keywords=Freshware+silicone+molds

Lately I've been using this silicone mold to make one large piece which I then cut into quarters, each quarter is about the size of a slice of bread: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0032AM7QU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I really swear by this recipe. Using a neutral-tasting cheese keeps the bread from tasting either too "eggy" or too "cheesey.' One tip: the finer you grate your cheese the better the result. i use this thing: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00HMDLAPW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Look at party and Halloween stores. I have one like this and I think it took at least four cups of gelatin to fill it. I don't know that there's anything on the market that's truly horse-sized, but a human-sized one is surprisingly heavy.
I'm not saying you need these but...

These are far more fun than they should be.
I bought it on Amazon. They're pretty huge chocolates. If I made them again, I think I would put some kind of filling inside to break up the chocolate-y-ness.

Though you can use any mold you want, make sure it is silicone so it come out of the mold easily.
Here are a few more I've made.
A Silicone Baking Mold!. There's a few recipes that I've been meaning to try that are fudgey and caramel...y and these molds would be perfect to have!
I use a muffin-top silicone baking pan to bake eggs, a little water on top, and they're the perfect size and shape for sandwiches. They come in various sizes and materials.
Heart Mold
you could fill that with a resin to make heart shape.
They are actually silicone brownie molds.

I love these things.
These egg molds on my Gizmos and Geekery list would rock!
Also, Patrick Kane is our hero! (former Chicago girl here...)
I think you will want this, this (for chocolate frogs!), this (I think you could simplify it a little), and these recipes.
I bet it'll turn out awesome! I'm kind of jealous, I want a Harry Potter Party :)
These are perfect for making them
Hey, I just looked at some amazon listings, trying to find the silicone molds that Paula Wolfert mentions, and this one has good reviews. One of them says that this works better than most silicone molds because it’s infused with metal particles.
I make rso chocolates! They are delicious and rso is ready to eat.
Ingredients
1 pkg Ghirardeli Dark Chocolate Melting Wafers
https://www.target.com/p/ghirardelli-dark-chocolate-melting-wafers-10oz/-/A-14919573
1 g syringe RSO
Equipment:
Silicon molds

Double boiler or a saucepan with a heat resistant (Pyrex) bowl.
I use the saucepan method.
Fill saucepan with 1-2 inches of water. Place bowl into saucepan. Bring water to simmer/low boil over low heat. Don’t scorch the chocolate with too much heat Remember you are not cooking it, so just enough to melt the chocolate.
More details with pictures on the double boiler and how to use it:
https://www.leaf.tv/articles/how-to-melt-chocolate-without-a-double-boiler/
While I am letting the water warm up, I place a cup of water in the microwave for 2 minutes.
After my water starts warming up, I put the chocolate in the bowl of my improvised double boiler.
Pull the cup out of the microwave.
Place rso in hot cup of water. DO NOT OPEN Use the plastic piece to suspend syringe into cup. Or just lean it against the inside of the cup.
Use a spoon to stir chocolate as it melts. Once melted, add RSO. Stir until thoroughly combined.
I place my molds on a cutting board and put them next to my chocolate and use the spoon to fill them. I pick them up and drop them from an inch or two onto the board to smooth them out after they are full.
Transfer entire board to refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Pop chocolates out of molds!
Get high as fuuuuuck!
I also used distillate to make white chocolate.

I made them myself. Melting chocolates are relatively inexpensive (you can find them at most any craft store) and I ordered this mold off of Amazon.
Though you could try and of these also:Here, Or Here, Or these "sexy frogs," which actually kind of creep me out, lol.
The one I ordered used a LOT of chocolate.
Yeah, the white really makes the dimensionality of it pop!
I haven't polished any of them at all, and they are in this mold. The bottom of the mold is where all the magic happens. Here's what the open part looks like, which is what I would consider to be the back of the coaster.
They are definitely hardened. I have had a couple come out completely set, but still bendy, though.
If you have a store that sells them you could also get these things. My coworker was all like "YOU NEED TO MAKE BUNNY SHAPED EGGS!!!"
http://www.amazon.com/Kotobuki-Plastic-Mold-Rabbit-Bear/dp/B002TZ04J6/ref=pd_bxgy_k_img_b WOWOW!!!
EDIT I bought these and plan to report back. This is badass.
Thanks! They're just caramels. It set up so well that I think I could layer it with chocolate in this mold.

You're welcome.
Well you asked for it
Okay now I am going down the rabbithole apparently there is a whole line of products
Thank you! Baked at 325F for 15 minutes in this very helpful silicon baking pan.
I make Chocolate Mini Cakes using a Wilton Mini Cake Pan that I got from Micheals using one of their many 50% off coupons. I use Swerve to sweeten instead of Honey. The cake from one pan is 4g net carbs, and would be less if I used a different baking cocoa. I usually fill the cavity with whipped heavy cream and sprinkle unsweetened shredded coconut on top. :)
Or I get some Halo Top Ice Cream from Sprouts. I haven't gotten around to purchasing my own ice cream maker yet. :(
Getting the grass ready for the tincture:

For the tincture:

SAFETY TIP -- Perform the following steps only in a very well ventilated area and away from any ignition sources.
SAFETY TIP -- The hot alcohol vapor escaping the jar is invisible and extremely painful if touched. Keep face and hands away.
On to the gummies:
***
Since it was my first time doing this I went with different levels of tincture per flavor of gummies. 1 tablespoon in the (Jolly Rancher brand) Green Apple, 1.5 tablespoons in the (Jell-O brand) Mango and 2 tablespoons in the (Jell-O brand) Cherry Lemonade.
Americans: I think I found the mold on Amazon!

or maybe these
I was planning to use that recipe, but use these gummy molds from amazon that are smaller than the ones used in the recipe so I figured I’ll be able to make ~200 gummies
Then you have an excuse to buy these! Egg Molds!

Oh, I don't know what limitations would be in different countries. I just google searched chocolate frog mold.
Here is an amazon option
Got them off amazon Candy Silicone Molds & Ice Cube... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01JYBP7R6?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
I got a similar one of those molds recently, specifically to keep my ‘pizzas’ in check, since they otherwise spread all over the parchment paper if I go that route.

I made the gummies, it actually worked. Had a big bag of Now brand beef gelatin, and finally found a use for it. I filled 24 wilton silicone brownie molds, about 17 calories each. I used some vegetable cutters to cut some into shapes.
