Mischief Managed!

So I decided to order my school supplies from a "reputable" magical supply store. I can not believe what happened. So you order by answering riddles and I thought that would ensure that everyone's orders are correct, I guess not....

Riddle the First-Wine or Wine Goblet

Either way, I wonder if this is even considered to be appropriate [drink wear] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004HZR94O/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=25MSIGOHKX8AU&coliid=I1GX53XQYP0JML&psc=1) in the Great Hall of the RAOA school of magic, merriment and Mischief.

Riddle the Second- Broom

I don't know what they were thinking, I asked for a Firebolt, I will never be able to fly with these. I thought maybe they were just tiny for shipping purposes, but I've tried to use Engorgio to make them bigger, but nothing happens.

Riddle the Third- Hat

I swear I ordered a standard witch's hat. I am not sure how they heard wicker hat.

Riddle the Fourth- Book

They told me that this is one of the most important books of knowledge of our times and I wouldn't be able to pass my muggle studies with out it

Riddle the Fifth- Trunk

I don't even know what to say about this. How am I suppose to get all my supplies/clothes to school in these? I mean sure if I was a guy I am sure they would be pretty comfortable. Note to self, next time use the word Luggage Trunk.

Bonus Riddle- Cape

And last but not least, I just wanted a simple black cape. It's black alright, but unless I am going to be giving haircuts in my common room, I have no idea what to do with this.

That is the last time I order anything from Mundungus Fletcher's Magic Emporium.

I’ve had the best success with two methods:

  • Decanting into a spray bottle and directly spraying where needed. This is better for the ends of the hair, or
  • Decanting into a hair dye bottle and squeezing gently throughout my scalp. This is personally my favorite method since it feels like getting a mini scalp massage. :)
u/Bop_It_ · 2 pointsr/AsianBeauty

I never had issues with most of my hair, just my hairline. So it's pretty easy to just dab some on directly to my hairline and I just kind of massage with my fingertips (not my nails) starting from my forehead and moving back toward the crown of my head. I really only work back a couple inches from the start of my hairline. I just repeat this so it's spread evenly, as a bonus the massaging feels nice. I only ever did it as a deep treatment, so I could be more generous with how much oil I was using since I would just be washing it out. Mixing it with a lighter oil also helps thin it out a bit. For a deep treatment, I would leave it on for an hour at the very least, but I would try to leave it on longer or overnight.

If you want to put it all over your scalp, I think one of these would probably help. http://www.amazon.com/Soft-Style-Applicator-Bottle-oz/dp/B001MP7I2A/ref=sr_1_15?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1417321310&sr=1-15

There are a ton of videos on youtube about castor oil and hair growth if you want more tips (or I can tell you everything about hair I know, but I could go on forever, lol). Search for "castor oil hair growth" or "castor oil challenge" and you'll get a ton of results and before and afters.

u/p0wer_puff · 2 pointsr/NoPoo

Thanks for your response, and I hope you find your way back to no-poo! I can see how washing with eggs could be a bit daunting when showering with an SO.

Maybe you can try another method? (see the sidebar)... like a no-poo shampoo bar? Or raw honey washing? You could totally dilute some raw honey in water (and put it in a cute squirt bottle from Sally's or the dollar store) (LINK) and use that as a cleanser. Good luck :)

u/paingawd · 5 pointsr/DIY_eJuice

Not the guy you asked, but yes. I'd also recommend some 120 ml squeeze bottles for your VG and PG. These bottles allow you to dispense the VG or PG directly into your mixing bottle without the need for syringes or pipettes. Trying to get VG up into a syringe or pipette can be a HUGE pain in the tuccus, and as a bonus you've got less items to clean. When I mix, I place my squeeze bottle of VG in a hot water bath to loosen it up. It makes it way easier to pour off and mix the final bottle(I add my VG last and then shake the snot out of the closed bottle)

Well, I was in the same boat (kinda still am) but I figured everything out (I think)

First off I watched a ton of Grimm Green videos from the last year, those really helped me get my feet back into things (last time I was active in e-cig modding, it was doing the cutting edge "blue foam" mod for the 510's). And hell his vidoes got me wanting a Silver Bullet very very much (probably will once all the new stuff comes in).

So as someone else who has been using exclusively eGo setups for the last 2 years . . . well here is where I found myself.

  • First I got myself an Ego Twist in 1000mAH (screw the charger I have 3 of them and only got one battery . . . because I"m just gonna try it out, not sure if it really is something I need right now)
  • Then I went to go get some of these "Sunfires" that I see so often on this place and got thoroughly confused . . . then in an "AHA" moment I read the description of these and realized that is exactly what they are . . . and got stalled by the resistance selector drop down . . .
  • So after a little digging on the far right under Sticky'd Posts I found this gem which after 5 minutes I actually figured out, and then after breaking out my multimeter I figured out my current battery is running at around 3.64v . . . so I went with the 2.8 ohms because I figured it was nicely in the middle of the good green for me.
  • Then because I had heard so much about the Vivi Nova I decided to pick one of them up too picking a 2.8 ohm head and a 2.4 ohm head just to check out lower resistance.

And then I completed my order, came in at less than $50, and should get me on the road to the perfect vaping.

I hope this helps, I have literally spent 12 hours over the last 3 days just bouncing from vendor to vendor, comparing and contrasting what I see, what this subreddit is telling me (dragging out my Electricity and Magnetism 308 book for the first time in a decade . . . sigh, but glad I decided not to sell that one back). But I have a decidedly good feeling(and a lot of relief) from having finally made a decision and bought the stuff.

ninja edit forget the syringes, just pick up some henna application bottles (available from headshops and most local craft stores everywhere) with the syringe type tips, mine have caps so I can drain all 80mL of liquid I get into various bottles of different sizes to put where I want them, no head shops or craft stores look here

ninja edit #2 I like Gourmet Vapor because they let you pick the amount of pretty much anything, make your own, and see to be very high quality.

Definitely looks like heat rash/pimples/boils from sweating and heat. I would really suggest putting an ample amount of an anti-chafing powder under them and also sprinkle this liberally inside your binder.

Possibly keeping a small little bottle on you like this filled with the powder on you so you can quickly re-apply during the day would also really help. The applicator tip will also help you with precision application that doesn't leave your hands super powdery.

Hi fellow cannuck! if you're willing to extend your budget a little then you would be able to order it off amazon [but it'll hurt... a lot :(]. I found this one came to just under $20 but this set of two came to around $25. I suggest checking out /r/RandomKindness as I did find one that's just $3 as an add-on that only ships to the US.

Best of luck!

Hosting contests are so much fun!

Probably my cheapest item.

Something under $60 that I know one of my daughters would like to have, if I win, please.

Thank you for the contest!

I use Mickey T 8 - cheapest C-8 MCT I could find on amazon. There are a lot of other 'MCT Oils' on there, but I was looking for predominantly c-8.

Mickey 8 is great IMO. Also never had an issue with bottling or quality, or anything (and if there was, I know amazon would sort it out). Link below

I also bought a little squeeze bottle so I could easily put the right amount of MCT in.

Get something like this and spray it on your back pack if you use one, and spray it on and maybe wear the same shoes always on public transportation. You can put some into a little spray bottle and travel with that if you like.

Bottles for applying henna. They would make my life so much easier than using a plastic cone to apply with.

Elephant Barber

Something about me... I love dirt biking. :-)

u/iranintoavan · 1 pointr/Coffee

I used to have this problem as well. I've 100% solved it. I hardly ever have more than a speck or two that sticks.

  • Buy these.
  • Fill them with distilled water.
  • Spread out the beans (I do this on the Encore hopper lid) and give them a few sprays from 6-12 inches away.
  • Dump the beans in the hopper, wipe off the lid so there's no moisture left.
  • Enjoy static-less grinding!

This is my grinder after a week or more of not cleaning it one bit.

I make turkey soup after Thanksgiving every year. This was last year's batch. Yeah, I make a lot.

There's no real recipe. I boil the turkey carcass in chicken broth. Strip the meat from the bones. Cooke carrots, celery and onions in the broth. Return the boneless meat to the broth and then add rice. I tend to go a little heavy on the rice, so it's a little more like a stew than a soup, exactly. The whole usually takes at least 6 hours and is totally worth is.

In some restaurant supply stores you can buy a box of pre-cut foil sheets which makes things so much easier.

One thing I've done in the past is got a little spray bottle, like the kind you can get in the travel section of a pharmacy. Looks like this.

Filled it with the hottest hot sauce I could find. Never had to use it, but it's not an illegal product and I figured it would follow the same principle.

Overtone pastel collection is your friend. Your either rose gold or pink. I might do a mix of the two if I was you. https://overtone.co/collections/shop-by-color-rose-gold/products/original-rose-gold-complete-system#

I have had colored hair for about 4 years now. Overtone is the only way I can manage it. It’s a colored conditioner. Pro tip section your hair and paint on the go deep color once a week.

I use this brush Framar Power Painter Hair Coloring Brush - 2 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BYW1TKZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_mCNkDbDQHAFQ0

oh a diffuser is an attachment that you put onto the end of your hairdryer that "diffuses" the hot air so that you're not blasting your curls to pieces. This is the one put out by the curly girl company: http://www.amazon.com/DevaConcepts-DevaCurl-DevaFuser-Kit/dp/B001H88JEI/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

I have pretty curly hair for a white girl, but I'm not familiar with mixed race hair, so maybe other posters will have more specific advice.

u/FuzzyGoldfish · 1 pointr/fountainpens

If you can get the daiso ones, they're bright pink. Might reduce the medical appearance.

You could also go for a metal-tip glue bottle and skip the vial altogether. Something like this or this would probably do the trick, although with these designs you might need to worry about the ink expanding/contracting/reacting in ways that could be unfortunate.

Honestly for 'backups' I just keep cartridges, but I'm a heathen.
