Some gift ideas that have gone over well in the past:

  • Standing flashlight - great for a DIYer
  • Turkish Towel - I use it heavily when traveling. It's a plane wrap, a picnic blanket, a quick coverup, seriously worth packing.
  • An amazing spatula. I love it. Great for any cooks or bakers.
  • If you have an older female relative who likes kitchen stuff, go to Walmart and grab some stuff from the Pioneer Woman. It's cute, it's functional and my mother-in-law loves the stuff. Ree annoys me but she makes it easy to Christmas shop.
  • Teen girls can be tricky. Buy a pair or two of BaubleBar (or BaubleBar for Target) earrings, buy this earring case and now you have a 2 for 1.
  • You should buy some Yak sticks for your dog. Costco also has some great Nylabone and Kong gift packs.
  • Every adult male I know loves this temperature gun.
  • Every newlywed lady I know wants the Chrissy Teigen cookbooks.
  • This throw is the softest thing ever. I have 3.
  • Cute couple's gift (also works for a family member who is bringing someone to Christmas who you feel obligated to gift to but you know little about them): Picnic blanket. You can even add a basket and fill it with wine or cocoa and cookies. Or just gift them a gift card to a cozy restaurant.
  • This Calvin and Hobbes collection is the best gift I received last year. And it's cheaper than it used to be.

Also, here's my link to a review on here of Etsy/ArtfullyWalls/Society6 artists in case you want to shop for yourself/others with the upcoming sales.

I'd go with Etsy but the shipping is probably too far out.

Amazon is probably your best bet now! They have some great stuff like this [coffee mug](Doctor Who - Disappearing TARDIS Coffee Mug - Add Hot Liquid and Watch The TARDIS Move From London to the Stars - Comes in a Fun Gift Box - by The Unemployed Philosophers Guild https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ESHMQ8K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_wYgwybT4WQV0D) that changes when hot. Or this [jewelry box](Doctor Who Tardis Wooden Jewelry Box with Drawers, Hooks and Ring Inserts https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZZ9CZG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_DZgwybD198VQ2)

Also Hot Topic is full of fun doctor who stuff. Their stuff is unique and they have more than just clothes. They have some really fun necklaces and drink wear.

Good luck I am sure she will appreciate anything with how much thought you are putting into it.

Happy Birthday!!!

I always enjoy German Chocolate Cake! And honestly, Ive found that I prefer it out of a box, and not homemade. Something about the moistness of it, and the chocolate taste that Duncan Hines has nailed down, its just so good. And quick and easy. Be sure to get that coconut frosting stuff that goes with it. The world depends on it.

I'd like this necklace display if I win!

Happy Happy Joy Joy!!

Hope you have an awesome day of birth!

u/jillrabbit · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Happy Birthday! My dream costume would be a Han Solo female version. I have looked into some ways to make it and it doesn't seem super hard like so many costumes could be, so I think maybe one day it could be a reality. I love Star Wars and he is my favorite character. I also love Padme's whole wardrobe, but those are so intricate. This one is one of my favorites here. What kind of costume would you love?

I would love to get [this] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004ILIHU2/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_img?_encoding=UTF8&colid=17WT7UDZMS1JR&coliid=IEIXHR6T11BMJ) or this for my daughter. Thanks for the awesome contest!

I'm ready for this question! I have a whole bookmark tab because I'm planning on building a vanity and redoing all of my storage. I'll give you a sneak peak into it (; Let me know if you want more! I have a bit more than a dozen of these things saved.

First up, acrylic drawer organizers!. Much cheaper than most other competition I've seen. I use these to house blush and bronzer and whatnot. If you guys can find a flaw in the first one I linked please let me know since that is what I'm planning on buying!

For samples, lots of people go for ammo boxes but I'm thinking of buying test tube racks/cases such as this or this. There's also a stainless steel options of the later version that look really pretty but are much more expensive and since these will be in drawers...I don't care quite that much.

If you do go for ammo boxes, however, this particular box has been mentioned several times in the past. It won't fit the longer or short and fat samples, but it'll do fine for most others. I don't care for it because of the color options, to be quite honest about it. It's a superficial thing and if you don't care I've seen many great reviews of this box.

For full-sized bottles, I've seen people use cake stands and pretty trays but since perfumes are light sensitive I plan on hanging a spice rack like this one inside a cabinet. Really you can hang it anywhere as long as it's out of light and humidity (so not in your bathroom!).

u/turdbogls · 1 pointr/Watches

I'm curious about this as well.

I have been looking at this for the house....but it's also good for travel as it's padded and zipps closed. they also have a 2 watch case available

but I guess ideally I'd like a display box for 6-8 watches, as well as straps...which something like this might work.

I'm sure there are probably nicer products from Wolf, but I don't have an expensive collection, and both of these products on amazon got good reviews.

Morthy's Demands:

Old Posh Englishmen love their tea! (on the Unsorted wishlist)

I'd probably self-conscious but force myself to wear this. I can't deny my love of kawaiisugoidokidoki any longer. (Under Unsorted list)

I think this looks more like a [sex toy](http://www.amazon.com/Bed-Head-BH320-Ceramic- Styling/dp/B0092MCQZ4/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2BN02OVKX5FBY&coliid=I2GB3XZY9AE4M1) but it's the only sexual looking thing on any of my wishlists. (Under Beauty Products)

Akeleie's Demands:

My most geeky item. (Under Harry Potter but I would never dream of anyone buying this hahaha)

I'm in the midst of cleaning out my room and learning to organize, so this earring hanger would be awesome to achieve my goal of cleanliness! (Under Unsorted)

I'd need this for a deserted island so I could transform into a magical girl and escape. (Under Anime)

u/shankrocha · 4 pointsr/DesignMyRoom

I would get some roller blinds or room darkening curtains. I love all the natural light in this room but it will fade your clothing.

IKEA has some great stand-alone wardrobes. Look up Elvarli.

Also, if you had two dressers back to back in the center of the room I think that would be great as an island with plenty of storage first sweaters, pants, shirts and accessories. (Maybe two of the Malm 3 drawer chests sitting on top of a large area rug)

Also, I would hang a full length storage mirror between the two windows. Like this

u/PrettyPurpleKitty · 2 pointsr/babyloss

Here are a few things I found that might work for you. I also didn't find a stuffed fox. You could sew a pocket on or into the fox you have, or you could store them together. These aren't traditional urns but I think any would make a beautiful fox themed resting place for your baby.

This one seems a little fragile:

u/super_cheeky · 78 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

you guys.

friday was such a good day! we hiked to the top of Raven Cliff Falls and no one was there and we got it all to ourselves and he whipped out this baby. He had it designed based on this ring I showed him forever ago but reset his great-grandmother's diamonds in the setting instead.

i'm equal parts excited and mega stressed.

in other news I literally poured the last fourth of my coffee all over my hair, face, etc. this morning. So that was great.

also I'm really proud of myself because I got a thredup box and two of the items just did not fit perfectly so I sent them back. finally making the effort when I realize will sit unworn in my closet if they don't fit exactly the way i want.

edit: check out this adorable ring box i got for the ring when I go to the gym. cutest box ever.

u/s4mpson · 1 pointr/KnifeRaffle

Something like this on my dresser. Cheap, very functional, easy to get into/out of, adequate protection from dust, able to see the pieces when it’s closed.

u/dream234 · 5 pointsr/konmari

My wife does a similar thing. She uses https://www.amazon.co.uk/YiGo-Storage-Box-1-Pack/dp/B00H8MWWKY these type of things for all jewelry. Things never gets dusty, lost or tanged and packing jewelry for a trip is as simple as grabbing a case and throwing it in her bag.

She's came up with it herself in her teens and has been doing it this way for 20 years and we've never found anyone else who uses hardware/craft organisers and we've yet to find a superior solution.

u/doki36 · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

I keep all of my jewelry in a box. The compartments are large enough for multiple pairs of stud earrings or 1-2 pairs of larger earrings; I sort by color (gold, silver, etc.) and type (round stud, dangly, etc.). I have this jewelry box and it has fulfilled all of my jewelry-organizing dreams. My collection is 90% earrings and 10% minimalist/delicate necklaces, and the compartments work for both. There's also a larger version and one with different compartment sizes for some larger items.

My fiance made me wood ledges with hooks (similar to these). I use them for my longer necklaces and bracelets- everything is easy to see and no tangled jewelry. I keep earrings in an organizer box and everything else in a pretty wood jewelry box.

I (usually) don't wear it to bed -- I do if I'm in a hotel or someone else's house or if I'm drunk and taking it off seems like too much work. I put it in the ring box that it came in for bed, and don't put it on until after my morning shower typically.

I have this cute kitty that holds my ring when I'm in the kitchen.

I also take it off to do laundry, cleaning of any kind, and scooping cat litter. I'll either put it in the box in the bedroom or on the kitty in the kitchen, whichever is closer.

I realize I'm probably a little extreme, but I'm such a clutz that I'm really nervous about it still! The important ones are to not wear it while exercising or cleaning.

u/TransBrandi · 1 pointr/transpositive

To any that are wondering, I looked it up:

  • This looks like the one in the photo. Unfortunately, not for sale anymore.
  • I did find this, which is a different Tardis jewelry box.
