For fucks sake. This is not true. An entire cooked rotiserie chicken costs $5 at the grocery store. Get a pouch of frozen veggies for $2. $7 just fed dinner to a family of 4. Get meats on manager special. Buy day old bread. Frozen veggies are dirt cheap. A pasta portion can be had for pennies. Literally. I just bought a box of pasta that will last me 3 meals for $1 and at 205lbs I eat big portions. Beans are super cheap. Lentils. Rice. All dirt cheap and easily made into healthy meals. If you think you aren't getting the right vitamins and such, buy some vitamins. That's 6 months worth of vitamins for a family of 4 for $17.
The problem isn't cost. It's time. Either the parent(s) work too much to take 20 minutes to prepare a meal or the parents are too lazy to take that 20 minutes so they go to McDonalds.
If you're actually serious about worrying about malnutrition, I don't think you have to worry about that with modern corn. But if you really want to make sure, just take one of these after dinner.

Fairly cheap, only requires one pill a day. The only downfall is its a little bit big, but not nearly as big as all the people are crying about in the reviews. :)

The fact of the matter is that the subreddit for the most part seems to be under the illusion that if you don't live in West Africa you are 100% safe, which is a dangerous thought to have.

A lot of people are giving voice to their coping mechanisms of denial to make themselves feel better. I don't think their attitude will change until the numbers reach upwards of 50,000 and the people start fleeing and spreading this crap all over the globe.

This is what i ended up buying him. I think these are as good as any other multivitamins and they are like 1/2 the price. .03 a day ain't much to keep essential nutrients in your system.
I was hoping someone with better ideas and more relevant information would show up but that hasn't happened so here I go.
The product you linked is a powdered multivitamin supplement for athletes. It's probably pretty good but it's also not very cost effective. If you do any supplementation you'll want to use cheaper multivitamin pills.
Because protein powder isn't an option anything you do will look as much like a dietary plan as it will anything else. Is your goal convenience and health? How much time to you spend shopping and cooking already? With some research you could probably work out a simple meal plan that's reasonably healthy and easy to make. It all depends on what foods are available and how much nutritional data you can put together to make a balanced diet.
The easiest thing to do will probably be to take a good multivitamin and find a convenient food that can be eaten most of the time while using other food to fill in the nutritional gaps. Oatmeal or some other porridge. Beans and rice. I feel very unhelpful offering this advice but it's my best idea from what you've told me.

I'd say take 1/3 - 1/2 of a pill per day with your Joylent, and add a small pinch of salt to each meal. You may still be a little under on electrolytes, but instead of worrying about it initially, see if you experience signs of a deficiency (or ideally get bloodwork done before starting on the diet and a month or two afterwards).
I am doing all 3 meals, 100% of the daily servings for each.
I thought I'd remembered reading that it was wise to supplement with this particular multivitamin (Kirkland Signature Daily). But now I can't seem to find where I'd read it.

So the Costco/Kirkland multivitamin wouldn't be best for men? It has 100% of Iron Amazon Costco.
I did come across a couple of articles saying that iron usually isn't important for men because we...don't lose it once a month. And it can build up in the liver.
