These Anker headphonesare hands down the best headphones I've ever had for 27 dollars. The sound good (not like my Shure but come on) and the battery lasts a good 10 hours of over 50% volume. They are super comfortable in the ear buds but they have an extra piece that holds them to your ear. Very comfortable and they come in multiple sizes for both pieces and a carrying case. I don't know how they sell these so cheap.

u/DarienStegosaur · 12 pointsr/GooglePixel

I bought the Anker SoundBuds Curve and they are seriously good. Basically the same tech as the SoundBuds Slim except with better battery life at the cost of being physically larger.

The Anker SoundBuds line are pretty much unbeatable for the price. They are not just "good for the price" though. They rival my $200 (at time of release) LG Tone Platinum HBS-1100.

Both the Curve and Slim support aptX HD. The JayBirds suggested by others do not. Get a headset with aptX HD. It makes a big difference in sound quality, especially if you are watching videos. Other codecs have latency issues.

I got these Anker BT headphones a few weeks ago and I have only had to charge them twice lasting at least 10 hours. They are lightweight and extremely comfortable in my ears.

Before you try AirPods try these out! They’re only $22 on Amazon, so if you hate them you can return them. I LOVE THEM. I’ve gotten everyone in my life to try them, and they always buy them. They don’t fall out during BBG, and they’re sweatproof.

u/Mug_of_coffee · 3 pointsr/Edmonton

I got a pair off Amazon for ~$34, and they are going on 5 months without any problems. Surprisingly good audio and build quality, and apparently really good customer support (ie. if they break, the company will replace them).

I also noticed costco has some for ~$80. If I was buying now, i'd go with them, just because costco has really great customer support.

u/Somber_Solace · 3 pointsr/aspergers

Get these instead. Sound qaulity is better, battery life is massively better, they're waterproof, you won't lose them accidentally, they're still light enough to not be noticeable when wearing, they have different sizes and material types for the part that goes in your ear, it has a mic and 3 media buttons, and they're only $27.

u/Creamy_Cheesey · 3 pointsr/oneplus

I'm no audiophile, but I just bought some $26 BT earbuds that are the best earbuds I've ever owned. Plus the lack of wires coming out of the phone is so much more convenient.

Anker Soundbuds Curve.

After having paid like $180 x 2 on Jaybird Bluebuds X, and used $200 on Bose Soundsport, I realized the difference in quality is really minor.

The Anker Soundbuds Curve has great long-lasting play time, same connection range as the expensive ones, and just as importantly they sound almost the same, all for a tiny fraction of the price. So cheap, that I could break/lose these earbuds like SIX times over any length of time for the same cost as ONE of the expensive ones. That is a level of functional "durability" that these expensive earbuds can never hope to match.

At the end of the day, ask yourself, "What is really inside these wireless headphones"? The reality is that the majority of it is just the same cheaply manufactured chinese electronics components, encased in shiny nice-looking plastic, then marked up and marketed at a big margin. Look at wired earbud market, everyone knows that there are multiple very cheap headphones/earbuds that sound just as good or better than expensive competitors because price often doesn't signal performance in the consumer-grade audio market.

u/HonkForHammocks · 3 pointsr/Ultralight

If your port is broke but the phone still works, maybe consider using wireless headphones instead? Anker Bluetooth headphones are what I use on the trail for audio books

I bought these and the 12 hours battery life is real. I haven't actually hit 12 hours, but after about ~6 hours my pixel 2 XL said there was 50% battery left so it seems to be accurate. I'm not really a fan of the wire connecting the two together, but you'll have to deal with it on most wireless earbuds unless you get the totally wireless design.

u/Chivalric · 2 pointsr/bodybuilding

If you just want something cheap for the gym, and you're not an audiophile, these cheapos from Anker are what I use for the gym. They're supposedly sweat proof (I haven't had any problems in 4 months of using them), and have an insanely long battery life. Also, for $30 if you hate them at least you didn't break the bank

u/DapperJet · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

I've never found a pair of bluetooth earbuds that had a good mic for call quality. I do a lot of conference calls for work so a good mic is key.

Thinking of trying this pair. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0721MP41Q/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?smid=A294P4X9EWVXLJ&psc=1

these

are pretty good but they have a wire. I think they make some without a wire though

u/Solid_Freakin_Snake · 2 pointsr/GalaxyNote8

Anker Soundbuds Curve might be just what you're looking for. This is the version I have. I've had them for almost a year and use them pretty much daily. As long as I charge them at night they last me all day. Sound quality is good, range is better than any others I've had, and they're nice and lightweight. I work manual labor and sweat profusely a lot of the time busting my ass on some roof or in some hot, stuffy apartment. Never had any problems despite them definitely getting a lot of moisture on them.

There's a newer version too, but I can't speak to those by experience. If mine die, though, these are probably gonna be the replacement.

u/SirsFuckDoll · 2 pointsr/steroids

They're not over-ear, but I have Anker bluetooth earbuds that cancel out sound really well, to the point where I can't hear my gym blasting music, or people talking right next to me

[These are what I have] (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-Waterproof-Microphone-Lightweight-Headphones/dp/B0721MP41Q/ref=sr_1_3?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1524442943&sr=1-3&keywords=anker+headphones)

u/thenewfitcat · 2 pointsr/C25K

I bought these - (https://www.amazon.com/Anker-SoundBuds-Headphones-Bluetooth-Waterproof/dp/B0721MP41Q) and they have been pretty amazing.

Not the top of the line wireless earbuds, but pretty affordable, and never fall out of my ear.

u/Ghost_Resection · 2 pointsr/bapcsalescanada

I purchases these a while back and I'm happy with them.

Looking for a MP3 player to pair with these headphones.

Needs to be:

Sweat/light rain proof

Dirt resistant

Decent storage/expandability

Large battery

Bluetooth (pref 5.0)

Cheap as possible.

Better sound, look a bit goofy, but don't mess with your hair:

Smaller, easier to carry, less goofy looking, but smaller drivers and not as good sound:

These Earbuds with These Foam Covers are amazing. Great sound quality and the foam covers are superb at noise cancelling so you can shut the world out.

FWIW, I was skeptical about wireless headphones until I got these from anker.

They're really inexpensive and the over ear design keeps them on my head.

u/6GodDontCare · 1 pointr/nfl

Anker has some great ones too around 25. I love mine. They go around your ears too and have a wire in the back which I like more than the completely wireless ones.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0721MP41Q/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/FauxCole · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

These are fantastic. The battery life is great, they stay in the ear well and come with a ton of different in-ear buds for different shaped ears. Plus Anker is a great brand, so if any problems occur, I'm sure they'll handle it.

u/IAmListerOfSmeg · 1 pointr/gadgets

These ones? I'd rather not have a wire at all.

u/luneth27 · 1 pointr/Metal

I've been using the Anker Soundbuds Curve. They're bluetooth headphones with a tested 7-9 hour battery life, dependent on how loud you turn them to. They have an over-hear hook and I don't recall a single time they fell out. They're pretty hardy in that no amount of sweat will damage them.

However, mine broke 10 months in after I took off a shirt with a small collar with them in; I believe the glue was a bit loose since I had worn them for roughly 6 hours before I took my shirt off.

Regardless, I stand by them for a few reasons, with the first being their price at ~$20 on amazon ($26 right now) and the second being their battery life. I work a very mobile job and thus wired headphones broke easily with my phone in-pocket, and nearly every other bluetooth headphone I've found on amazon under $50 had offsite reviews that compromised on either price, sound quality or battery life. These Soundbuds were the least compromising as they're a better jack-of-all-trades, so to speak. Decent sound quality with a good battery at a very competitive price.

For earbuds use on the go, workout, yard work, etc. I use the Anker Soundbuds. They are $27, and sound good. Plus they are $27, so I basically just leave them in my jeep all the time.

If you’ve got issues with them falling out, try the Soundbuds Curve or something like that, with a hook that goes over the ear? I have the same issue with earbuds falling out, and that seems to help massively.

u/PirateFisher · 1 pointr/HeadphoneAdvice

I don’t know about earbuds, but I have these, and I use them when I’m counting inventory and it blocks sound pretty well. I know not 100% what you’re looking for, but worth a shot for the price.

Anker SoundBuds Curve are all 3.

While it's not $5, you're not getting $5 earphones with water resistance, mic & cvc noise cancellation.

I was looking at something like this.

u/Thing_On_Your_Shelf · 1 pointr/headphones

Budget: $50 (Amazon only)

Source: Moto Z

Type of Headphone: IEM. Already Bluetooth or can be converted.

Music: Most everything. I listen to a lot. I do like bass though.

What I need are some Bluetooth IEMs. I have some already picked out but figured I'd ask here to help narrow it down. Here is what I have so far:

Already Bluetooth

  • soundPEATS Q12

  • Anker Curve

  • TaoTronics BH16

    Can be converted

  • KZ ZST

  • KZ ZS3

  • KZ ZS5

  • Tannmak Pro

Would be converted with one of these cable, although I don't know which is best

  • KZ Cable

  • Braided Cable

  • Sport Cable

I guess overall my questions are:

Should I go with some that are already Bluetooth, or some iems that I can swap out the cable for a Bluetooth one?

If I go for one where I can convert it, which should I choose? I like good all around sound quality with an emphasis on bass that is clear but you can feel.

Which Bluetooth cable do I choose? There's about 3 different ones and they are all different.

Save yourself some money and just put out for some wireless headphones. I've got these and they work great, last 12.5 hours, and sound great.

This is all so dumb. Buy a pair of these and save your money. If you want good sound buy a nice pair of headphones, not earbuds.

u/nrs5813 · 1 pointr/running

Honestly, I've tried a lot of headphones for running. Expensive, cheap, all different styles - the best for me are the cheapo $30 pairs from amazon. I'm not afraid to break them and they sound fine for running. I bought 3 pair like a year + ago thinking they'll probably break sooner than expensive ones and i'm still on the first pair.

On this pair right now. I also have the Anker ones which are better quality but I haven't needed them yet as the first pair hasn't broken yet.

EDIT: for reference, I run ~40 miles per week and 5 or 6 times per week and I'm an obnoxiously bad sweater.
