Sorry for the ugly link (I'm on my phone and grabbed the first one I found) but I think this is what you're looking for. It's cheap, the individual concrete pieces are small so they won't crack like a slab would, and it looks nice enough. Use paverlock sand in between to prevent weeds from growing in joints, or put in dirt and plant a ground cover like creeping thyme. You don't need to do a ton of soil prep for this, but try to get it level.

Edit: just to clarify, this is cheaper and will last some years but it's not going to come out perfect and it will fall to nature faster than a traditional patio done correctly would. But I think this will do alright. I've done paver patio the right way by hand (700 sq ft solo) and it came out great. I also did it the wrong way in the garden because I had spare block and didn't want to spend effort and money on it. The garden path is fine - hasn't cracked or shifted in two years, but it's definitely wonky. If anyone is interested I'd be happy to share the differences between the projects and my perception of the durability of each.

I don’t think it matters, but fwiw, here are the links to what I use for mine:

Tray: Carlisle 1217BT03 Bistro Plastic Café Tray, 12" X 17", Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008RSKCBO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_j72ZDbRX6SPZC

Pebbles: skullis 5 Pounds River Rocks, Pebbles, Garden Outdoor Decorative Stones, Natural Polished Mixed Color Stones https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F2ZDSVV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_p82ZDb71BJEH5

It turned out really pretty - the “pebbles” are more like “stones”. They’re all pretty flat and probably 1”-1.5” in diameter and are polished. I think polished or not simply depends on your aesthetic preference. One order of those stones perfectly fills the tray. Three 6” pots easily fit on it and the humidity at the lip of those pots is consistently 60-70%.

Here's the basic parts list to build a bucket like this:

  • 2x 5 Gal buckets with lids (one for res, one for light top.) More buckets for spacers. (check your home improvement store of choice.)
  • A big roll of black duct tape. This
  • A roll of FlexFix tape. This
  • A couple of space blankets. This
  • A can of 3M spray adhesive. This is the good stuff
  • 5x light sockets with plug ends. These
  • 5x Philips SlimStyle LED "75w" 2700k. These
  • Some heatshrink tubing. Looks good
  • Some lamp cord and hookup wire. This, And This
  • A roll of flux/rosin core solder. Your Choice, this looks okay
  • An airpump. This one is awesome, This will do
  • Some airstones. [This] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002JLA83C/)
  • A distribution manifold. At least a 3 way
  • Some air lines. This, Or This
  • A length of 3/4" pvc pipe and a plug (check your home improvement store of choice).
  • A water dripper system. [This] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002JAY6E/)
  • Either a netpot and a bucket lid with a hole cut in it OR a premade netpot/bucket lid. This if you want to save some work
  • Some PC fans. [These are nice and cheap] (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00NTUJZ36/)
  • A PSU to run the fans and LED strip side lights you might add on spacers. This. It's 80+ at least. I had a few extra PSUs around. I wouldn't use one that isn't at least 80+ since it will be running 24/7.

Lots of this stuff can be had cheaper at a home improvement or pet store. Check around. You'll need a soldering iron (I like my adjustable 40w), a drill and drill bits up to 3/4" (I like step bits for work on plastic), a heatgun or lighter to shrink that heatshrink tubing. An infrared thermometer is nice to have and can tell you the temp of your nutrients, the plant itself, your lights, etc...Just make sure to calibrate it first, all the cheap ones are inaccurate by at least a few degrees.

We didn't always get along, but we get along a lot better now and my dad has been very supportive of me and we have a lot more in common than I realized.

I get the desire to keep it concealed, but even leaving the pump controls indoors (which is the best plan, I hadn't realized they weren't at the pump), you're still looking at two weatherpoof receptacle boxes and a mount for a pretty big charger box.

I'm thinking bite the bullet and put in a decorative post and mount all this on the backside, they even sell fake rock pedestal covers.

Putting it on a post will help keep it away from the earth, my experience is the closer stuff gets to the ground the longer it stays wet from rain and snow, the faster it fails.

He was amazing. He was so talktaive it was as if having a friend with me. He was my rock in a sense. I am battling health problems for years now and he has always been there for me! He cheer me up by laying on my lap purring, or playing with me when I needed some happy time! He was my Dad's fire buddy...meaning he would hang out on the chair while my Dad stoked the woodstove. We would take naps together in front of the fire.

We were thinking some kind of stone...not necessarily a tomb stone... I did see this on Amazon which did not look half bad tho it is a little small: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B015RVDQRK/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=QTPB5282W9PE&coliid=I3VTAZ7QJRNKQU

Yes I am going to increase the ppm slowly. My plant doesn't respond well to high nutes. I am doing the lucas formula so it has been working great except the calcium deficiencies.

Buy whole malachite and crush it up yourself. Like this half pound set from amazon.

You can crush it pretty easily with something like This

u/phonebook45 · 17 pointsr/trippy

These are the ones I ordered https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07GDNF6FP. A UV flashlight instantly charges them. My friends and I throw them at each other and eventually tossed a whole bucket's worth of them in a driveway. The tracers when you're throwing them at night are awesome.

u/darkrootgardens · 2 pointsr/microgrowery

those ones kinda suck compared to these

just pass them under hot water and they are pretty clean

the other ones u gotta soak NOBODY GOT TIME FOR THAT!

i have active aqua and those ones they are the same just rebranded and both made in china

Or, hear me out, it's fake, HEAR ME OUT!!
You can buy frog molds like this and when you pour a new concrete sidewalk/patio whatever, you can be hilarious and put one of these impressions in it.
We did this with stars once, not a frog. The frog is funnier and a better idea.
*NOTE: I'm not saying OP is a liar, or that OP's picture is not of an actual Frog's imprint, I'm just saying, most concrete contractors would not pour concrete, and then while they are screeding, simply SCREED OVER a frog. It's just, 99% likely that OP's picture is a lie. Even if they screeded over a frog, the process would not leave such a perfect impression.

I purchased what's called a "Worry stone" from Amazon. Whenever I get the itch to check my phone or computer, I pull the stone out of my pocket and rub it. It's gives me a bit of focus, and it cures the fidget that was probably making me want to check my phone in the first place.

I'm pretty crummy with links, but here's the one I bought from Amazon. You can make your own... I just like the divot and the uniqueness of the marble. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AKFIVYW/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_5SHkyb8JDPQ36

Something like slate gravel you think? It's similar in color and sharp like the seiryu stone https://www.amazon.com/Natural-Slate-Stone-Miniature-Wargaming/dp/B072P1KV45

u/[deleted] · 7 pointsr/Warhammer40k

I bought a bag of small slate pieces off amazon, was like $10 and has enough slate for tons of bases.

These are for hardscape with drainage, I saw some used for parking at Lake Atlanta iNWArkansas

Seem very affordable on Amazon and help keep water going back into the ground.

Indeed it is, diving deeper into google shopping results its this one: TrueGrid Pro

Unless you're asking what the driveway gravel is, that looks like either decomposed granite or recycled asphalt.
