Congrats! I hope you like it! As for accessories...
Get the Hori Screen Protector. It's the best screen protector I've used, goes on so easy with no bubbles, I believe it's a favorite of many in this sub.
For a case, I use the Hori Face Cover because I don't like to have to keep up with the case while I'm playing, since I play in public a lot. It kinda turns your Vita into a 3DS-like clamshell. Flip it open to play, and then close it shut for protection. It keeps the Vita slim so you can still fit it in your pocket, but not worry about protection.
If youre looking for a grip, I don't have a suggestion because I haven't found one I like yet. I have had multiple Nyko Power Grips that have come defective out of the box, so I don't buy anything from them. However, it seems lots of people here love that grip so YMMV.
Finally, I'd definitely recommend getting Playstation Plus. You can get 3 months for $17.99 or a year for $49.99. Basically every month they give you at least 2 free games on the Vita, but this month we got 5! If you get it before the first Tuesday in December you can get all 5 of those games for free. The 5 from this month are: The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, Luftrausers, The Hungry Horde, Escape Plan, and SteamWorld Dig. If you own any other Sony consoles (PS4/PS3) there's even more incentive to get PS+ because you'll get free games on those systems as well. It's the same service that allows you to play online on the PS4 (but you don't need it to play online on the Vita). You can also get discounts on games through PS+. Keep in mind that once your subscription expires, you will not be able to play the free games, but any games you bought with the PS+ discount are yours forever. That said, if you were to renew PS+ later, you would get access to all the free games you had previously claimed. Through PS+ you also get access to a cloud to store your save files, so if you have a smaller memory card you can delete and re-download games as you want to play them. Even if you only have a Vita the service is more than worth it. I'd never have to buy a game again and it would give me plenty to play, and it's opened me up to genres I never knew I'd like.
If you do get PS+, or you prefer digital games, you may eventually need a bigger memory card. As of now the biggest available in North America is 32gb, but there is a 64gb available in Asia. No games or accessories for the Vita are region locked, meaning you can play games/use memory cards from other countries. The memory cards are pretty overpriced and a 64gb runs from around $80-100. You definitely don't have to have it, but it is an option.
Anyways! That's about it. That was really long, oh well. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!

Others have already said basically the same thing, but I'll add to the pile.
The GPD XD will be great for everything you want to do with the exception of Nintendo 3DS, PSVITA and Persona 4. An actual PS VITA can be had used for a little over $100. If you jailbreak it, you now have access to the entire VITA library + Persona 4 Golden and games up to and including the PS1 and Gameboy Advance, but Nintendo DS emulation isn't really viable due to a much slower CPU compared to the GPD, though I guess they're working on that. Still no 3ds.
If you want everything on one device in your pocket, you'll need a GPD Win 2, which is orders of magnitude more expensive. It's also powerful enough to run Citra (Nintendo 3ds emulator), a Playstation 2 emulator (Persona 4), All consoles up to and including Gamecube, and all but the most demanding of PC games. The only thing you'll really be lacking there is VITA games, as there aren't any viable VITA emulators out there yet that I'm aware of. (Vita3k looks promising. Not there yet though).
A laptop with performance on par with, or better than a Win 2 can be had for less than a Win 2 goes for, but it's not exactly pocket friendly. Still, this might be a viable way to go paired with a decent controller as long as you don't mind lugging it around. Some benefits too, such as a larger screen and better heat management on account of a larger device.
Want extra style points and be Cyberpunk AF? Pair a laptop with an Oculus GO standalone VR headset and a controller. Use Virtual Desktop to put yourself in a virtual space in front of a gigantic hovering display and play all your emulators that way. You are now officially a huge nerd, and have to tote around a bag to carry all this stuff with you, but the concept is undeniably cool.
You’re gonna need a memory card if you’re gonna get games for your vita. It’s pricey but you can get them off of Amazon. Get the one that’s specifically by Sony like this :
PlayStation Vita Memory Card 64GB (PCH-Z641J) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F27JGVA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_gqgUDb7D65T2W
I’ve heard the vita won’t take in any other memory card that’s not by Sony.
In terms of games, i would recommend Persona 4 (JRPG), Fata Morgana (Visual Novel), Salt and Sanctuary (it’s like Dark Souls’s mechanics), Dangan Ronpa series (Visual Novel), The Nonary Games (Visual Novel + Puzzle/Mystery game. It’s like a game where you’re given puzzles and you figure it out), Dragon’s Crown (RPG)
Also may want a screen protector like this:
(Pack of 2) Screen Protector For PS Vita 1000, Akwox Premium HD Clear 9H Tempered Glass Screen Protective Film For Sony PlayStation Vita PSV 1000-Max Clarity And Touch Accuracy Film https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GYPB1HU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_-wgUDbBY2JSF7
and if the vita feels too flat in your hand, you can get those grips that’s something like this:
Insten New Trigger Grips Hand Grip Compatible With PS Vita PSVita Playstation Vita 1000 (PCH-1000), black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_CxgUDbS4D5R40
That’s all i can think of off the top of my head
Between the 3DS and Vita, you should really just go for whichever has games you're more interested in; I've included links to the top-scoring games on Metacritic, so you can get an idea of what each one has to offer. If price is an issue, the 3DS is almost $100 cheaper than the base Vita model on Amazon ($160 v. $250), though personally I'd highly recommend the 3DS XL, which is closer to $200-$210. For Vita models, unless you want to import from Japan, there are really just 2 options: WiFi vs. 3G. Ordinarily, I'd recommend the WiFi, as the 3G is pretty useless and costs $50 more, but currently on Amazon the 3G model is $50 off and comes with an 8GB memory card, whereas the WiFi doesn't. And on the subject of memory cards, I should point out that they're extremely overpriced on Vita (as in, $100 for 32GB overpriced), while the 3DS is compatible with standard SD cards. As far as the specs are concerned, I find this article, though old, to be pretty accurate; the tl;dr is that the Vita is more powerful than the 3DS in almost every way, but that doesn't mean it's an objectively better system.
If you have the money, I personally use my Vita far more than my 3DS (though I expect that to change once the new Pokemon games come out). Having PSN trophy support for its games is a big plus in my book, and with a Playstation Plus subscription I get at least 2 free games a month for it. It also has better indie support, with games like Machinarium and Limbo currently out, and Hotline Miami and Terraria on their way.
No one's suggested Danganronpa, re: games? Gotta fix that.
As a female vita owner who also likes J-games, I'm going to recommend Danganronpa. If you think your wife would like a game about teenagers trapped in a school and forced to kill each other, where one of the main characters is an animatronic wise-cracking bear. And if she doesn't already have it.
...only if she likes to read, though, since it's a visual novel (with mini-games and wandering around the school, but still a ton of reading).
If she likes that, there are two other Danganronpa games + a future game on the horizon.
If she ends up liking visual novels, there's also the Steins;Gate visual novel and Virtue's Last Reward (which I haven't yet played myself but have been assured is fantastic).
I also totally second P4G. And Project Diva, if she likes rhythm games. And maybe Hatoful Boyfriend, if you think she'd like dating pigeons.
There are also a bunch of classic PS1 JRPGs available for the vita via the PSN store for super-cheap, like Final Fantasy and Suikoden.
Can't help too much with accessories, except to say that you should definitely get her a big memory card if you can, and that the P4G Dancing All Night Collector's Edition includes a neat pouch and vita skin. Depends on whether she's into P4G, though.
Edit: quick grammar fix
Luckily for you, DanganRonpa is a very basic series to get in to. Mainly, at least. I'm gonna go ahead and run through it here, in case you or anyone else wants to save this to reference in the future so you don't have to google questions.
DanganRonpa is primarily a visual novel murder mystery video game series. In them, you will play as school aged characters, make relationships, then watch all of your favorite characters die and be forced to figure out which of your other friends killed them. I won't say any more about the plot, but it's somewhat Saw-esque, in that people are trapped, yadda yadda. No torture porn, though. For the most part, at least.
The first title, and the one you would play first, is DanganRonpa: Trigger Happy Havoc. This is available for PS Vita as a physical release or digital download, but it was also ported to PS4 on the Danganronpa 1.2 Reload disc. Either works.
The next game in the series is DanganRonpa 2: Goodbye Despair. This is, if you ask me, a substantially better game than the first, and can again be bought for PS Vita physically or digitally, and was released with DR1 on the 1.2 Reload Disc I mentioned earlier. The PS4 version is pretty much the first two games bundled and released on PS4, since the series had been handheld only until then.
Also, if you're interested, Danganronpa 1 & 2 were originally Japan-only PSP games, and the Vita versions are actually enhanced ports. But we never got the originals. I digress.
Next up would be DanganRonpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls, which I honestly can't recommend. Instead of being a visual novel, it's an odd third person shooter, and it's not a murder mystery or anything. The plot also ended up not being important. I would say just read a plot summary when you get to this point (not early, it'll spoil the first two games), and move on, but if you want this can be bought for Vita (the original release) or PS4 (a recent port).
Next up is DanganRonpa 3: The End of Hope's Peak Academy. This is an odd one since it's actually an anime. They wanted to wrap up the story arc they had going, but they didn't want to be tied down by making it an interactive game, so they made it an anime. You can easily find it all online, the only hard part is finding the order to watch it. The show was split up into two arcs, "Future", and "Despair", with the final episode being the only episode in the "Hope" arc. If you get to this point, here is an episode guide (be extremely cautious about scrolling on that page, as you might have it spoiled for you; I think that same page has a plot synopsis). Watch it in the order listed there and no other order. The anime was overall good, but it definitely had it's flaws.
Finally, we get to the upcoming release: DanganRonpa V3: Killing Harmony. It has a confusing name, I know. I think they should've just called it V4, since even though it's only the third main game, having two entries with a "3" in it is confusing. Either way, this will be another game like DanganRonpa 1 and 2, with an entirely new cast of characters and a brand new overarching plot (since the anime of DanganRonpa 3 finished the plot regarding the previous characters). It will be released on Vita and PS4 on 9/26. However, it's been out in Japan since 1/12 so many spoilers are present online; be careful!
And that's it! In the end, be extremely careful about looking up anything about the series, as knowing who lives or dies could ruin a lot of the fun of playing them. There's also a couple smaller short novels and misc. Media, but I don't think they're necessary and I don't even know much about them myself despite being a huge fan. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask!
On a side note, if you're interested I can also do a rundown of the Persona games and their releases if you want, as some of them have been released multiple times with different features. Just ask if you want me to! I know it was frustrating for me when I had to do a bunch of google searches to find all the information the first time.
EDIT: Oh my god I can't believe I completely forgot the steam releases! Along with the PS4 (which I did mention), DanganRonpa 1, 2, and Another Episode have all been ported to steam this year, so they are also available to play on PC if you prefer doing so.
Persona 4 Golden has some added Social Links, some new features like a vegetable garden (basically letting you grow items that you can't usually purchase), some additional characters and story events for said characters, additional Personas, new explorable areas of the overworld, a bonus dungeon, new music, costumes that you can wear to affect a character's appearance only, more playable days if you're on track for the true ending, various QoL adjustments to the battle system, and a special epilogue.
It sounds like a lot, and it kinda is, but don't let it put you off P4 Vanilla if Golden represents a bigger financial investment for you. The vast majority of the game is mostly the same. If you're really looking to play Golden and don't have a Vita, I recommend the PS TV, which has near-complete Vita functionality for only $40 (and the Vita has plenty of good games, mind you. May I also recommend Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc?). Golden is also only about $20.
I have the PDP Trigger Grips. Be warned, if you have a "full" screen protector (Static Cling or Water applied) it will scrunch it up unless you work really hard to either trim the water applied/static cling or some how mess with the Static Cling.
---
Some additional accessories that I find useful:
Of course, a travel case. Depending on your style pick a cloth or hard case. I personally like my official Sony Travel Pouch. It's soft and has lots of room for the Vita, headphones, extra games, and a cleaning cloth. Hard cases (Usually 3rd party) are pretty good depending which. I also have the DreamGear hard case as a more travel friendly when going to another person's house. My issue with it is that the case itself fits really snugly with the Vita where it can push on the Power button.
Official Vita Travel Pouch (9.33. Free shipping with Prime)
DreamGEAR 7 in 1 Starter Gear Hard Case (12.99 Free shipping with Prime or $25+)
---
You also want a back screen protector for the back touch panel alone. That thing is very prone to scratches.
---
Thumbstick grips are also very great for the extra grip you want. Sadly, the one I have is discontinued. So I can't really recommend a product I haven't used.
Bluecell Thumb Grips
You can certainly find others. Just read reviews. Be a smart consumer!
---
A great pair of headphones is a must if you travel a bit. I would wholeheartly recommend the official Sony Vita headphones. Great sound and cheap. Has a built in Mic but I'm not sure how good that is.
Official Sony Vita In Ear Canal headphones ($11.95)
---
A handy 2A-2.1A outlet USB charger with a spare USB Vita Cable is always nice to have around traveling.
Please Note: When purchasing additional back up battery packs or charging outlet thingies. Make sure it's 2A to 2.1A (2,000 mA to 21000 mA. not mAh**) output. The vita needs at least 1.5A output to be charged while playing or 1A while off (Very slow).
They've seem to have gone up in price a little, but fish around eBay or Amazon for them because its lifespan has been over for awhile now. I've seen them go from ~$100-$150 used without any extras. Keep in mind you may have to shell out extra for memory cards and chargers, though buying a game cartridge rather than a digital download saves a lot more space. Still recommended to get an 4 or 8 GB chip though.
And they do cost more, but a PSTV is also a great investment depending on your tastes. Its not as portable as the Vita, but you get full screen support for TVs and you can play it with a PS3/4 controller.
eBay
Amazon
Both are good choices and allows you to access almost every game in the series (minus P3FES, Q, Q2, the fighting games, and 5. Maybe one of the P2s also). You'll get your moneys worth if you want to get deeper into the series or explore the Vita's vast JRPG library.

seems they are sold out at primedeals, people seem to be having good luck with Techarvard though.
the vita 1001 has an OLED screen, which allows for near perfect black and contrast, while the 2001 has lcd.
basically the 2001 was designed to be cheaper so they could price it better. it's still an amazing device and improves upon the 1001 in a lot of ways.
But of course my good sir! I just got into Steins;Gate thanks for it being on the Vita this summer.
PC: http://www.jastusa.com/steinsgate.html
PS3: http://www.amazon.com/Steins-Gate-PlayStation-3/dp/B011ERXVVW
Vita: http://www.amazon.com/Steins-Gate-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B011ERY5IA
It was definitely worth the purchase. I bought this game on a whim, not seeing the anime or played the VN. Once I played it, I fell in love with it!
Got a used FAT PS Vita with 3.63 from Amazon Seller. Should I keep it?
So I placed a PS Vita (assumingly ver2) order from a seller on Amazon. I assumed version 2 (Slim) because the product details mention PCH-200* as well as pictures, show micro USB charging port.
FAT PS Vita I received seem to be in excellent condition (no scratches, fingerprints or any scuffs). I spoke with Amazon rep and they offered to give me a credit of $20. Given that I got a PS Vita with version 3.63 (that gives me plenty of room to hack) should I keep it?
I have a Switch (non-Homebrew) and I thoroughly enjoy it. My main reason to get Vita was to remote play with my PS4pro, mostly at night time while resting on my bed. While homebrewing was not my main objective since I have the option I might just well.
If you guys where in my position what would you do? Keep Vita 1 and homebrew it; Keep Vita 1 and put 3.69 on it or just return it an order from another seller?
I paid $135 for this vita.
EDIT: Thanks guys. After reading your comments and chat at the discord channel, I think I will keep the FAT Vita with me.
You might as well wait for a sale. I mean, it's a really good visual novel game. Probably the best VN I've played on the Vita (along with its sequel).
But because it goes on sale every so often, you may as well just wait for a sale.
Also, FYI, Amazon currently has the retail version on sale for $29

I have the hori flip case for the 2000, and it is excellent. The glossy finish feels meh, and scratches easily, but it covers the vita effectively and keeps the sticks protected, which was my #1 concern.
A bigger memory card is definitely a must. I just got a 32 GB card a few days ago and I'm blown away with all that I can fit on there. I finally don't feel cramped for space.
I emulated P3 and P4 on my PC but decided this wasn't enough and wanted to support the developers. So I ordered a Playstation TV (Liam TV) and P4G (along with Freedom Wars since Liam and Pat said it was great). I'll probably also get P3P. I'm pretty hype because it should arrive tomorrow.
Amazon and Gamestop are having pretty decent deals on Playstation TV's right now ($80 for a normal one or $100 for one with a dualshock 3 and the lego movie game). Amazon Link: http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-TV-DualShock-3-Bundle-vita/dp/B00KVMHVQ8/ (this is the bundle I bought.)

-I use the big one when i'm ganna be out all day and need to take everything with me. I got this because it has a decent size compartment to put other stuff in like my charger even though i have a separated case for all my chargers and most importantly the 12 cartridge slots!
https://www.videogamesplus.ca/vita-2000-carrying-pouch-black-tomee-vita-p-22539.html
-I use this when i don't want to carry anything else other than my PS Vita (I usually use this when i dont have any bags with me thatll fit the big case in. Btw i can use this pouch with my ps vita and fit it perfectly in the bigger case :p)
https://www.amazon.ca/Protector-Tech-Armor-Definition-HD-Clear/dp/B00KC3NHPK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1478288216&sr=8-1&keywords=tech+armor+ps+vita
-Tech Armor is my go to screen protector for most of my devices, cheap and fast shipping and since they're in amazon i can get it same day or next day shipping since i hate waiting LOL. I ordered it anyways even though i didn't need it since my imported Neon Orange PS Vita came with a screen protector.
I'm thinking of buying this PCH-1001 recert from Prime.
I want to access the Tower in Destiny from anywhere and I want Remote Play. I'm hesitant because I don't know whether online games play smoothly enough to enjoy. I just haven't done enough research yet.
EDIT: just bought it, excited for remote play :)
If you like physical media, Steins;gate is like $23 on Amazon :)
https://www.amazon.com/Steins-Gate-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B011ERY5IA/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1484348555&sr=8-2&keywords=steins%3Bgate
It also happens to be the best VN on the vita (except possibly the sequel, as I haven't played it yet).
What you want is a pouch or sleeve. I would recommend something like the old PSP sleeve/pouch that came with the PSP phat. At least material wise. As thin as possible isn't a good idea, you want some thickness to absorb the shock the Vita will get from jiggling and to not scratch the screens on either side. I tried using my old PSP pouch on my Vita 1k, but it was too wide. I believe the slim will be as well.
I suggest getting something where the material is soft on the inside and sturdy on the outside. Although if you're placing your vita where it wont get smushed or smashed by yourself or any outside force, then go for it. That's a good pouch. I've seen similar for $6 on amazon.
This one isn't that bad.
Yeah right...
I bought two like these for OLED, and slim. They fit a thin layer of armor, or silicone, and last long.
For my OLED:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01JUEWS4W/ref=cm_cr_arp_mb_bdcrb_top?ie=UTF8
My slim:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B017LMOKSC/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
EDIT: You'll want these types of cases for your Vita. Examine some saying EVA "shockproof" that has game slots on it, and room for a charger.
These are all nicer cases! ;-)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/s/ref=is_s_ss_i_0_11?k=ps+vita+travel+case&sprefix=ps+vita+tra
There aren't any games in specific that I'm looking for as a Vita owner except for Killzone Mercenary. I'm just looking for Sony to acknowledge their Vita a bit more and make it one of their selling points during the presentation, rather than focus only on the PS4. Almost 100% sure they're going to do more Last of Us & WatchDogs there.
I'm also hoping for some cheap sales on PSN while they're doing E3. Pretty sure that'll happen. This is the cheapest game on my wishlist. Thanks.
very basic zip around but i ended up getting this for my slim: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00F34B6JW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
there's only a couple of millimeters for it to move around and my vita is in perfect condition. it's perfect and allows me to just toss it in my bag without being too bulky. nowhere to keep extra physical games, though, but most of mine are digital.
It would save to a Vita memory card. Your best bet is to get the tv, a Vita memory card and the game. I have the tv, and I bought it for the sole purpose of Hollow Fragment haha. There's two types for the tv the bundle and solo. Between the two the bundle is the better deal, if you don't have a PS3 or dual shock 3/4 controller.
I used to use the pdp grip but now I use these.
It feels more comfortable in my hands but it sets weird on the ground.
For a game like SS I highly recommend picking up some stick covers, the concave covers really make a difference.
No my mod just allows the thumbsticks tops to snap on and off.
I bought these Bluecell thumbstick covers.
I cut the thumbsticks off the Xbox One's that I got off Ebay for like $1.
I dremeled underneath the XBO thumbstick a bit to make a "bowl" shape so the Bluecell can fit nicely in there. I epoxied the Bluecell top under the XBO one and now I have a nice pair of thumbsticks that I can pull on and off at will.
As far as I can tell, The Hatsune Miku Vita retailed new for about that, so not too surprising. I can tell you from personal experience that they're not really any cheaper in Japan than they are importing them; I bought a used one out of box for around $360, and I've spotted one in box for around $900.
Recently there was the Dragon Quest Builders Vita, but it's not much cheaper than the Miku one is going for.
There's this Toukiden Vita going for a pretty decent price for a used limited edition on Amazon right now.
They're more expensive than the blue or orange ones, but I'm pretty sure all the two-tone ones are limited edition colors that aren't being produced anymore. There's white/lime green, black/red, black/khaki, black/pink, black/blue.
I bought one in December, but I think it's gonna be pretty hard to find it.
Try amazon?
They have one here: http://www.amazon.com/Assassins-Creed-Liberation-PlayStation-Wi-Fi-Bundle/dp/B002I0JZOC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1369391399&sr=8-1&keywords=ps+vita+assassin%27s+creed+bundle
But it's pretty pricey
It's pretty fun. Wacky characters that each have their own play style. There's a demo you can get to try it out if you'd like, and it's only $9 brand new in the physical version, in case memory card space is a concern.
answering with /u/david_a3
That was part of an accessory set for the PsVita i had, using mounting putty to make it removable
they are not a perfect solution for the joy-cons, as the mounting putty loses its hold on it and can ghost diagonals if it does come loose, and the adhesive that does comes with it is rather thick, but it does fit perfectly in the shells. currently experimenting on making it work better
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007IDIXBK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I just got this one and I like it.

You can fit lots of games in and I like that theres a zip pouch for your charging cable too. Fit is nice and snug and the case seems rigid and protective enough.
This case is pretty great. It can really protect the Vita. That, and it can hold eight games and two memory cards.
http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
I use this (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F34B6JW/) and I love it. I don't know if there's anything that folds back like you are asking, it seems like it would be cumbersome for holding while playing.
I recently got this generic vita grip it's like the nyko one but doesn't have a battery pack. It's pretty nice grip for a very cheap price.
I have used many different types of grips over the 4 years I have owned mine. I've used everthing from one with trigger grips to one that looks like the steering wheel to the batmobile. It comes down to what your preference is. This is the one i use currently:
https://www.amazon.com/Insten-Trigger-Grips-Compatible-PSVita-Playstation/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1486641865&sr=8-7&keywords=ps+vita+hand+grip
It's very cheap but makes holding the unit comfortable for longer term play which is what I want.

I own a Hori hard case (P4G one), Hori clamshell (P4G one), and Hori silicon case. All Hori products are excellent. xD

I also bought the glass screen protectors for the front and back and put on there. It's much more enjoyable to play now with my giant fucking gorilla hands.
I got this Hori bundle for my Vita a while back, and I love it so far: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00L6AVNE0/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1453765743&sr=8-2&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=ps+vita+hori+case&dpPl=1&dpID=51PqIB4QuoL&ref=plSrch
But holy cow, it did NOT cost this much when I bought it. I think it was in the $20 range when I bought it. I can't attest for any other cases, but I really like the hard pouch this bundle came with.
You can purchase it by itself here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00F34B6JW/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1453765792&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=ps+vita+hori+case&dpPl=1&dpID=51VDNXHbqhL&ref=plSrch
I don't know if it will fit in your pocket, but the case itself only fits the vita, so I thought it wasn't bulky.
About the only way I know to get a real DS3 new is to buy a Playstation TV Lego The Movie DualShock 3 bundle.
https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-TV-DualShock-3-Bundle-vita/dp/B00KVMHVQ8/
The PS TV is a pretty meh console since it only plays a minority of Vita games, but it does play Persona 4 Golden and Muramasa Rebirth. And then the Persona dancing games if you like rhythm games.

I don't. Even with my DS I keep my games at home with 1-2 on me if I take it out. I never saw the point in carrying more than 4 games (or your enjoy collection of games) with you each time you leave. My Vita largely has all the games I really really love to play already downloaded onto it (or at least a game that will scratch an itch).
I do have this case and it has 3 games in it and my 4GB memory card (that is wasting away...)
I use this and absolutely love it DHSHOP Black Replacement Trigger PS Vita Hand Grip Holder Cover Case for PS VITA 2000 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00GZG8CV2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_vzNKybP8463Z7
The Danganronpa series is pretty highly regarded.
Tearaway is also a good choice. Really utilizes the Vita capabilities well.
Here is the amazon section for Refurbished Vita's.
I'd recommend the original Vita the screen is fantastic, and get at lease 16 GB for storage
Do you already own a PS4? I would go on Amazon and buy a PSTV. It’s a tiny little thing but it can play Vita games on your TV screen, and you can buy/download PS1 games as well so there’s more value. You do need to purchase a new controller to use with the system (I could be wrong), but those don’t cost all that much. I suggest getting a Dualshock 4 (basically a PS4 controller) as there’s some minor stuff you can so woth the touch screen.
$20.53 (based on lowest-priced option I found)
$249.95
$42.99
So far, using all the cheapest options, that runs you $313.97.
You may be able to find certain things for cheaper, not sure.
Edit: Apparently the Vita goes for cheaper than the PSTV, clocking in at $220.
Swapping out the PSTV for the Vita brings the total down to $283.52.
Edit 2: I suck at math and logic. You wouldn’t buy a controller if you bought a Vita. Final price is $240.53.
YES! I did debate that. Currently I have saved to buy in addition to the missing games mentioned;

I recommend this one. It's great and inexpensive. However I'm not sure if it's available on amazon uk or not:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZG8CV2/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This is the case I own, and the value of the starter pack is amazing. The pouch itself sells for $30 USD on Amazon and the starter pack is $20.
Hi. I have a N3DSXL running Luma CFW (plug r/3dshacks), and I am looking for something new and more challenging to mod, and the PS Vita seems like the answer (plus it has better games). Would this PS Vita be running 3.60 or lower? I read that all new US Vitas should be running 3.60 or lower but I want to be sure before I drop $140.
Edit: Also, is there any guides like 3ds.guide for installing CFW? Or is HENkaku the only homebrew stuff there is?
IMO any case that is going to be used to protect the vita from drops and such is going to be a bit thicker than a case made to prevent scratches. If you want just a hard case I would check out this amazon case. What I would suggest doing tho is getting a carrying case like this and buying a rubber cover or a nice personalized skin. And of corse always use a screen protector.
I had a similar experience recently when I picked mine up earlier this month. I had decided to try grabbing a bundle at Gamesetop, but all they had were "Gamestop Refurb/Recharged" units. I wasn't sure if those went through the same QA process at Sony, so I left without. A nearby Target had nothing at all.
I ended up ordering a refurb unit through Amazon along with some of the basics like a 64GB memory card and a screen protector.
But if I had to take a stab at the question of "Why?" I think I'd venture a guess that most of these physical stores don't move very many Vitas in a given month, if at all. As a result, I'm sure they'll stock maybe one or two at a time and reorder when that unit gets nabbed or at the start of the next month, who knows?
If you are considering ordering online, I can vouch for the factory refurbished unit listed here. Not a single defect to be found since these are all inspected by hand before going back out.
It's temporary out of stock but you can still pick it up at $20 if you buy it directly from Amazon and they'll ship when in stock so get that order in. Cheers!
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B011ERY5IA/ref=dp_olp_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
I found that the Vita cradle that sony put out to be rather useful. It allows you to stand it up and still charge it. It has a female audio jack out if say you wanted some louder speakers to plug in and maybe use it on your nightstand as a small little netflix screen for bedtime.
I got lucky and found mine on clearance at toys'r'us for $2.50. Amazon sells them for a little more.
http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS
PSTV is slightly cheaper than PS Vita, but still pretty expensive. (There's one on Amazon for $129 right now.
All of the major retailers' ads have been released or leaked. No Vitas. If you're okay with settling for the Playstation TV, it's on sale leading up to BF at Gamestop and on Amazon. If you don't want to go with a PS TV or a used Vita, your next best bet on price is probably to import a Vita from Japan, oddly enough. (SuperUFO is legit BTW, even though its website doesn't give that impression.)
P.S. All Vitas are region free, can be set to English, and can sign in with a US account. The functions of the O and X buttons are swapped in the menu and maybe some games, though. (O is used to select things, X is cancel.)
I have a PDP Crystal, it's tough and good looking. Perfect for life in my backpack.

I bought this and love it. The d pad is better and my analog sticks have the inward curve with the 4 dots for grip like the 360.

It was this one and it has already arrived.
Looks like they have put the price up a bit following this announcement. Play Asia recently had the sky blue ones which are nice.
I also recently ordered a used PSTV...
Feeling the end of the VITA a little!

Connecting it to your TV, and it's cheaper to buy than a Vita:
Sure there are used Vitas out there that can be had for less, but it's still generally cheaper to buy a new Vita TV. and if all one wants to do is play P4G, it's not a bad way to go.
I originally used my username for some site for some history project, and it stuck. I think I must have been bored or something
I'll give you the three things I want the most, because I'm not sure what you mean by reasonable, and they're all in different price ranges
http://smile.amazon.com/Steins-Gate-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B011ERY5IA
Cheaper on Amazon. But you should grab S;G at this price anyways because it's awesome.
I've been using this but it's been sold out apparently since I purchased it. The 3-4 ring grip is extremely helpful with gripping.
The ones you linked, I can't even tell what shape they are unless it's a smooth grip since the picture quality isn't great. If you do have them please take pictures.
I bought this one Insten New Trigger Grips Black Compatible With PSVita Playstation Vita PCH-1000 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00QGTJPM8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_jGt0BbB990ASS
It helped me a lot. I can play for longer with out hand pain from awkwardly holding it. I would like a bit larger one but it’s good enough for now
Here at Amazon they sell the refurbished 1000 black model. I'm not sure if many places sell a new copy of the 1000s and a refurbished official device is always the next best thing.
You might have better chance on a subreddit like /r/gameswap
Besides, trading a cradle for Declassified isn't exactly a great trade considering Amazon sells it for $11.70.
Thanks.
Looking it up I found an article saying: "Perhaps the biggest difference in tech between the two is that the new PS Vita Slim has a 5-inch IPS LCD display rather than the PS Vita's 5-inch OLED panel. They both have a 960 x 544 pixel resolution, but initial reports of the display on the Slim model - based on its Japanese debut - are that colours are not as vivid and, because of the presence of a backlight, blacks aren't as deep."
Does this mean I should just get an original and a memory card?
Is this the original model? https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Wifi/dp/B003O6EATE/ref=pd_sim_147_4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=F08Y36F4F7GTBRM551K0
I also have big hands. And I use this grip: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZG8CV2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00
it's PERFECT.
It's been on [Amazon] for quite a few months at that $200 price point. I can't really complain, since I like most of my stuff in white/pink/blue. Perhaps if/when a new model comes out, there will be new colours as well.
playstation brand cradle. on sale at amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B006JKARZS I just bought both the grips and this cradle and they work beautifully together all while charging.
I have the Sony brand charging dock for the Vita. It works pretty well and has an audio jack on the back since it covers up the one on the Vita while docked.
Edit: Also, the dock you posted is for the slim Vita.
I just picked one up after looking at the pictures. I have this case already, but it looks pretty clunky when I carry it around.
The differences between the two would obviously be the level of protection and overall style.
I've had similar issues with a 32GB card. Lost around 30 hours of progress in SAO: Hollow Fragment as well as all my progress in Gravity Rush, WipeOut, and several other games. I've since started backing up games to the cloud, but it's disheartening when you lose so much progress.
As far as cases go, I use one of the hard shell cases with swappable art inserts Gamestop sold a few years ago for the OLED Vita. It has eight spots for Vita game carts and two spots for memory cards, which is pretty neat.
Here's the case: http://i.imgur.com/8hjMIyH.jpg
And on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
I'd love to know how you did that seeing that it's currently $319
This is what I am currently saving up for. My hubby really, really wants one and I would love for him to have it.
This is the case that I have. I adore it, and I scanned in one of the designs they give you and made it all Dark Souls. Holds a decent amount of cartridges, a couple of memory cards, and is a solid exterior.
We should just have something in the sidebar or Wiki about it. Best place anyway is Amazon Japan.
I bought a bunch of these when I last went to Akihabara. They've been great for both species of Vita and my PSPs.
I got this carrying case:
Smatree P100L Carrying Case for PS Vita 1000, PSV 2000 with Cover https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JUEWS4W/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apip_XJCA2HODEoweR
And these game cases:
Nyko Game Case for Vita - PlayStation Vita https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007AJZ5PY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_CGRuzbX81BKWE
And this case to put on the Vita:
http://www.walmart.com/ip/KMD-Crystal-Case-Clear-PS-Vita-PS-Vita/21692780
The carrying case fits my Vita with the clear case on plus 3 of the game cases (just managed to fit the third case).
I've got the slim and picked the
CTA grip up on Amazon last monthActually these, which you can charge while plugged in, http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZG8CV2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1It fits in their great. I've never actually used a Vita without a grip(bought the grip before I even got it) so I can't give a comparison.
All I can say is I wouldn't play my vita without it. The only drawback is the fact you have to remove it to put new games in(I buy physical if I can)
I passed up the battery grip because I only play it at home, and there are lots of conflicting reports on the battery itself, so just went with CTA.
http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Computer-Entertainment-PlayStation-Vita-Wi-Fi/dp/B00JFCA6V2/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1405976270&sr=8-4&keywords=ps+vita
This is probably your best bet man. I don't know how good Sony refurbs are though. It sucks but 1000s were discontinued in like January and finding a new in box one for less than like $270 is going to be really hard.
I bought my 1000 in March and they were already hard to find new.
I've used this hard pouch for two years already. Not exactly low profile with the brand name displayed and all, but it's a really nice case.
It probably doesnt help, but i have 6 of these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-22046-Official-PlayStation-PCH-ZGC1/dp/B006JKARPS/ref=mp_s_a_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1538908784&sr=8-5&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=ps+vita+game+case&dpPl=1&dpID=31ZwnENFlLL&ref=plSrch
But as they only hold 8 titltes probably not what you are looking for. If you plump for these though, they are really good quality.
http://www.amazon.com/Vita-2000-Silicone-Skin-Sony-PSP/dp/B00JYE8L22/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1463373562&sr=8-9&keywords=vita+silicone
http://www.amazon.com/Pouch-PlayStation-Vita-PCH-1000-Sony-PS/dp/B00F34B6JW/ref=pd_sim_sbs_63_1?ie=UTF8&dpID=51VDNXHbqhL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&refRID=03BE0A10EBHT7REFNKZQ
I'm using a similar combination to these two products. I get the silicone skin to make the Vita more comfortable and have a little bump resistance. The case is simple and is usable with the skin on the device. Since the case has two zippers you can make it so your Vita can be plugged in while inside the case if you wanted.
I checked Amazon and noticed they do have these refurbished systems, which are sold by Amazon directly.
I don't know what kind of warranty, if any these have though. A question asked farther down the page does say the refurbished models do not come with a memory card like new models do.
Buy it used! I've been eyeing this game for a while...
Thanks for the contest! You rock my silly ol socks!
Oh yeah, that would help the mess of my bedside draws covered in chargers. This one looks more stable so might go with that: http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&qid=1412978515&sr=8-12&keywords=ps+vita+charger
Definitely worth it if you don't want to spring $160 for a new console. Although, I will say I REALLY want the Dragon Quest Builders limited edition console from Japan. It is a sexy beast.
This PDP Hard Case carries 8 games and 2 memory cards. I have one and I love it. You can customize the cover with your own designs using a template.
only possible advantage the PSP will have over the Vita (the official name of the NGP) is it can play UMD games, and the Vita can't. This means no used games for the Vita.
Honestly I don't remember. I think it's the official one from Sony. It has the PS logo and the Vita logo on it. Here are some pics:
http://i.imgur.com/c3qUorA.jpg
http://i.imgur.com/AgKDztM.jpg
Edit: Not the official case... Here is a link to it on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
Correct - these are Japanese retailers. The handheld's had some life there, and continues to draw in a niche dedicated market.
If you're not averse to importing, you can get a Vita from Amazon JP for about $173 USD shipped. Or, you can splurge a bit, for a few bucks more, to get one of the swanky coloured ones.
I love you for doing this. You're awesome. I'd like Hot Shots, please
I think I should get Hot Shots because I try to support my Vita in any way I can, but it's difficult when I'm short on money. I only have a 16gb card, so buying physical is really important.
I have been using a Vita hard pouch for my 2000. I recomended to another fellow on here a while back and he's enjoying it as well. You can find it in numerous colors on some sites like Nippon Yassan. The case is protective and light. The inside is a soft material to protect it. No bells and whistles but does the job.
Amazon link.
I have these:
https://www.amazon.com/Smatree-Carrying-PlayStation-Accessories-Included/dp/B01JUEWS4W/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1521750678&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=ps+vita+case&psc=1

I use the second one when I'm out of the house, it's slim and will hold 3 games. The first one is mostly for home storage as it keeps my charger and vita headphones in the top. I don't keep games in it, but holds enough. The slim one is a tank and packs well in my bag.

Edit: Also, glass protector on front, film protector on the back.
84 [This] (http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-WiFi/dp/B003O6EATE/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=W2S37LVSJPTZ&coliid=I3TWZEB2QUMLGH) because I want to get it for my boys :)
I can't guarantee that it will protect the screen during a drop since those are designed to take scratches. You can get one of these, dunno if they still have the 1000 version: http://www.amazon.com/HORI-Face-Cover-PlayStation-Vita-2000/dp/B00L6AVPWA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1404630590&sr=8-1&keywords=hori+vita+shell
As for a screen protector, if you're in the US there are really cheap ones on ebay that are less than $5 if you want to save since any screen protector over $5 is a scam really, get more than one to practice with.
For most drops, one of the best protection are those silicone rubber cases since most of those can fit into most cases that are a bit loose. These can protect the sides which is often where the vita might land and will absorb the shock. These can be had cheap on ebay if you're willing to wait a week.
If you're extra worried about dropping it while you wait for the cases, get one of those wrist strap things you see on wiimotes/cameras. You can make your own even with paracord or shoe laces or lanyards.
edit: screen protectors that only cover the screen are both compatible with the 1000 and 2000 models. The ones that cover the entire face don't.
I would also say something like craigslist first. If your area doesn't have any, then amazon has some used models for around 150 ish.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B003O6EATE/ref=sr_tr_sr_1_olp?ie=UTF8&qid=1370645127&sr=8-1&keywords=ps+vita&condition=used
I've got a spare one of the second one (PDP trigger grip). Also a charging dock (like this). Willing to part with them for the cost of shipping to a good home.
I'm "eye-dumb" and want more battery life so "upgraded" to the slim.
I use a dock, and I haven't had any issues, so maybe that's a good recommendation for you? https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS
lol $199 isn't a price cut if the Vita is already $199
I haven't really seen a card case without slots for a memory cards but, those slots are so small that they dont take up much space, what I have and recommend is this:
http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Card-Case/dp/B006JKARPS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1451241762&sr=8-1&keywords=ps+vita+card+case
It's the official card case from sony and you can probably find one cheap on ebay. (I found mine for around $4) Another crazy idea if your dead set on having no memory card slots is to buy singles:
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/4pcs-lot-Black-Game-Cards-Storage-Case-Bag-for-Sony-PS-Vita/32247420812.html?spm=2114.01020208.3.194.ETLmB5&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_1,searchweb201644_3_79_78_77_82_80_62_81,searchweb201560_4
Maybe you could glue these together or store them all in a bag or something. Anyway sorry I couldn't be of any more help to you, good luck in searching.
Speaking for the US options, the base model doesn't even come with a memory card. The one bundled with a DS3 comes with an 8GB card. How many games it will hold depends on the games, but in general it will easily hold more than one PSP/PS1 game. Single-layer UMDs hold less than 1GB, so most PSP games are under that size. CDs hold 700MB, so most PSone games are under that. Once you start adding Vita games, all bets are off. For example, the download version of Borderlands 2 will take up about 5GB all by itself (with the DLC). Most games are smaller than that though.
Your referring to this? http://www.amazon.com/Bluecell-Control-Controller-Joystick-Playstation-Vita/dp/B007IDIXBK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1411613136&sr=8-3&keywords=bluecell+vita+covers
Thanks for the help.
Not sure if this is the 'trigger' case the other guy mentioned but I order this last year and you just slide the vita in to make it a really big controller. It doesn't have the pseudo triggers and it's like the nyko charging handle without the charging aspect https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GZG8CV2/ref=ya_aw_od_pi?ie=UTF8&psc=1
How much room is left after you put the 3DS XL and Vita in there. Do you think I would be able to fit my Vita and 3DS Game cases in with it?
I bought the PS one. Fits it just fine.
dock
As long as the handles aren't bigger then grips , you should be fine.
if you wanna compare screens.
The slim feels nicer in my hands, is a good but lighter, uses a regular usb micro cable, but colors look bleached out.
I would get the 1000 this grip case and this dock
I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS.
It's official, looks good, and works.
I live in Japan and just ordered one sold by Amazon Japan, the all Black model (PCH-2000ZA11) hoping it will be on a firmware lower than 3.60. I purposely avoided the newer colors for this reason. My finders are crossed. I will post here if it's good to go. I will receive it Wednesday (thank you scheduled delivery).
Here's the link: https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B00F27JDTU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Also I bought mine directly from Amazon.co.jp (this link for some reason brings you to a third-party seller, you have to select the option to buy amazon.co.jp on the right side of the page to buy from them).
This is my most wanted item on my wishlist however more realisticly these!
My username is a mispronunciation of my last name that a substitute teacher once called me by mistake and it stuck with my friends for the rest of high school (it doesn't sound anything like my last name in reality haha).
must have and thank you!
I got this one from Target a few years back, and I can vouch for it. It doesn't add much bulk, and doesn't obscure the buttons at all, but finding one might be a little bit of a task (though I still see them at various Target/Gamestop locations). I haven't dropped my Vita more than a foot or two with it on, so I can't speak to how well it would absorb a shock, but it did protect it from scratches.
For me it was the amazing Black Friday Deal last year.
This bundle for $179.99. That's when I knew it was time to surrender myself to the Vita.
I basically freaked out in front of my computer when I got that deal.
Something like this?
HORI Face Cover for PlayStation Vita 2000 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00L6AVPWA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_rktyCbMRZ11XS
If you're only after the system itself + the bundled DQ builders game, it's $359 on Amazon (mint condition too). Looks like the one on your pic doesn't even have the fancy silver box.
Amazon.co.jp
Have to go to other sellers on Amazon/New Used, check New, then search for Amazon.co.jo directly, it will go out via global shipping which only takes a few days. I got one a few days ago actually, came with 3.68 firmware (meh) but was only $170 shipped, not bad for brand new.
Amazon. I don't know how much that converts to in your country's currency but Amazon has them at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JFCA6V2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_nQOJxbHXXSSJQ) for $122.
They don't seem to stock Danganropa. It was on my watchlist along with FFX-HD. I'm sure I could have figured out a 3rd game to go along with it.
I got one of these and it made a huge difference.
https://www.amazon.com/DerBlue-Black-Replacement-Trigger-Holder-Cover/dp/B00GZG8CV2/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1540427957&sr=8-2&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=ps+vita+grip+2000&dpPl=1&dpID=418txte7JpL&ref=plSrch
I like the look of the case. It says it comes with five different colors? The pic I see of them shows full-blown images from different games. No option for a solid color? http://www.amazon.com/PSVita-Custom-Crystal-Sony-PS-Vita/dp/B006X0KBY6
If you dont mind used/preowned/refurbished try craigslist or amazon warehouse. Older version or newer version. Also some games
Yeah, right here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/ol/B003O6EATE/ref=olp_tab_new?ie=UTF8&condition=new
There's probably not much you can do repair-wise. You can contact sony about it and they'll probably replace it for a huge fee (probably over $100). The problem is that it's a touch screen and it's probably connected to a digitizer.
I bought a screen protector and a case to prevent stuff like this from happening.
Surprisingly from what I found the other games in the series were actually localized officially.

Saving Private Ryan! Thank you for the contest. (-:
This vita cradle? If so then i'm not sure if its trade value is quite that of a full game.
Doubtful. The only copies on Amazon are through a third party seller right now. They're more expensive than its normal retail price: http://smile.amazon.com/DanganRonpa-Trigger-Happy-Havoc-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B00DVPMVIU?sa-no-redirect=1
I was concerned with the battery on the vita and having the Nyko being always plugged in. So i opted for a cheaper version without the backup battery. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GZG8CV2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
they are very basic hold the vita in nicely. Takes a lot of the stress off my hands when playing for longer periods of time.
I'm playing this weird little game... http://www.amazon.com/DanganRonpa-Trigger-Happy-Havoc-PlayStation-Vita/dp/B00DVPMVIU
It's very dark. Plus daily Spelunky.
It's from sony. Here is a link to the amazon page http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1375854985&sr=8-1&keywords=vita+cradle.
$12 plus shipping on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-Cradle/dp/B006JKARZS
Look for 3G versions, only OLED had 3G versions.
For example here on amazon https://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-Vita-3G-Wi-Fi-Bundle/dp/B0071NH8B8
Amazon is running a deal on Refurbished Vita 1000 (OLED screen) for $169US

Amazon is temporarily out of stock, but you can still get this price if you go to the all seller's page.
The bundle is $99.99. so for $20 bucks more, you can get a game, 8 GB memory card, and a Dual Shock 3 controller. A much better deal in my opinion.
http://www.amazon.com/PlayStation-TV-DualShock-3-Bundle-vita/dp/B00KVMHVQ8/ref=sr_1_1?s=videogames&ie=UTF8&qid=1415975264&sr=1-1&keywords=playstation+tv+bundle
The vita cradle or something similar. It secures the vita and will also keep it charged.
The vita cradle used to be relatively cheap, but it has skyrocketed in price for some reason. There are a few knockoffs however.
Still in stock on Amazon.
