There was a post a few years back about a ramp made to help animals that have fallen into the pool climb back out before drowning. I remember it had a funny name - The FrogLog.

I've had one for about two years and it works well enough. I've only pulled a few frogs and lizards out since adding it. They aren't perfect but in my case it works. Before I got it carcass removal was a daily occurrence and reaching in for the skimmer basket was like a scene from an Indiana Jones movie.

Oh boy a new nightmare for my northeast mind to torture me with. Worse we get in the pool is bunnies so I bought this. Recently watched a chipmunk dive in on purpose to escape my path. He swam directly to this thing and scattered out haha

Are your plants in bloom? I find that bees get a little drunk when they've been sucking down pollen. I put a froglog in my pool and at least it gives anything that falls in a fighting chance. Sometimes bees can even get to it if I don't scoop them out in time, which I also do when it's blooming time.

For anyone reading this thread, you can buy this, from Amazon for your pool so critters are able to escape.

They can’t climb the stairs the ramps quite large and stops anything from ending up at the bottomramp
