I shop on Amazon because I get gift cards for work (camgirl). I'll list whatever I find in my order history - Apologies if it includes anything discontinued. I shop on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca as I am Canadian, so I'll include finds from both.

Loves

Bombsheller octopus leggings - They don't carry these on Amazon anymore, but last I checked, they do allow you to pay via Amazon on their website. The size chart was off when I first ordered them so I exchanged them for a size up, and the company was very accomodating. The leggings are comfy and sturdy.

Jellyfish socks - Adorable and well made. Definitely plan to purchase more designs from this seller.

Snowpants - I don't wear these a lot since I'm more the summer outdoorsy type, but they were excellent for walking my ex's dog in the winter and I still occasionally wear them for running errands on foot when it's really cold out.

Burned velvet leggings - I bought these in "blurple" and adore them. They're slightly sheer, so I wear other leggings underneath (these ones from eBay do the trick).

Anna-Kaci search result link - Anna-Kaci is an awesome vendor with well priced attire. I listed the vendor since the specific items I purchased are no longer available.

Thigh high socks - I have found these cheaper on amazon.ca, but this was the first pair I bought. Cute and sturdy! I now have 3 more pairs on their way!

Zebra print scarf - I was impressed by the quality of this one. I did donate it when I was gifted a similar scarf in black/gray as I try not to keep duplicates of non-essentials, but I would still have it otherwise.

Timberland knee high boots - Bought these in black, and they are probably one of my favorite Amazon purchases ever. If I were to ever re-buy these, I'd go a half size up, as I had to get them professionally stretched once they arrived, but holy fuck I love these boots. Waterproof, and fantastic quality. They're my go-to boots and I wear them more than any other piece of footwear I own.

Underbust belt - I'm not huge on the price tag, only because I once bought a nearly identical one on clearance pre-breast-augmentation. I'm glad I was able to buy this one post-op since the old one stopped fitting though. Will buy in more colors if they ever go on sale.

Booties - Pleasantly surprised by the quality! Will definitely consider buying more if I ever want/need them in different colors. Comfier for longer wear than most of my other heels, too.

Suspender Skirt - I love this thing so much, I bought two more on eBay after buying this one in black. This one's definitely better quality than the other two, though. I'd recommend wearing them with a shorts slip since there's not a lot of length to them. I'm actually really sad that they don't ship this to Canada anymore, otherwise I'd buy a couple more colors.

Beechfield beanie - This is definitely more my style when it comes to fit, but isn't as warm as the cable knits. Definitely one of my go-to hats.

Likes

Wet look batwing top - Surprised by the fit/quality for the price. Fabric looks/feels a bit cheap but overall the piece is well made.

Chunky cable knit beanies - I ordered this hat in olive, mustard, and teal. They're comfy, warm, and feel well made. I find them to be a little too bulky for my head, so I'm trying to stretch them out/break them in a bit. Definitely personal preference though, and not a quality issue.

Glitter loafers with spikes - They're gorgeous, but not high quality. I'd put them under "meh" for lifespan, but I did love them up until they started falling apart.

Holo creepers - I really need to wear these more, but my day-to-day fashion is much more casual and I don't party like I used to. Working my way towards wearing them more. The quality is decent but I don't think they'll last forever.

JollyChic search result link - JollyChic is great for cheap-ish stuff. I've bought from them a number of times and rarely been disappointed. Some of their synthetic stuff smells chemically at first (shiny leggings being one) but the smell dissipates after a couple washes. Their customer service is also stellar. Shared the search results since the specific items I ordered are no longer listed.

Iron Fist sweater - Bought in a size small, fits more like a medium. Will be shrinking it.

Waist belt - Great quality for the price (~$13CAD if I recall correctly). Fit is a little stiff, so it can look a little boxy with some outfits as it isn't flexible around curves, but overall still nice.

Meh

Faux fur vest #1 - Not the worst quality, but definitely felt cheaper than a couple other vests I own. Ended up selling it since the size chart was off and I didn't love it enough to exchange it for the right size.

Faux fur vest #2 - Slightly lower quality than #1, but same deal - Size chart was inaccurate, but not worth exchanging so I sold it.

Thermal leggings - Smelled awful at first, but it went away overtime. They are still pretty warm even after washing/wearing them for a couple years now, but they pill, so they're not the most aesthetically pleasing. Great for layering, but would not buy again.

Skull cardigan - It's cute and cozy. I wear it around the house more than out, since I noticed after washing it that the bottom corners started curling up a bit due to shrinkage. Also wish it was a tad bit longer.

Spiked slouch beret - The creases are a little harder than I wanted/expected, so I'm trying to stretch it out/break it in a bit. I have other hats that I like more though, so this one doesn't get a lot of love and might just end up being donated.

Leg warmers - Quality-wise, they should be in the "loves" section, but I bought these back when I was on a wild spree to better prepare myself for winter, and while I do love how warm they are, the patterns/colors just aren't my style.

Digital print tanks - The quality is about what I expected for the material, but I found the fit to be off on most of them (especially in the armpit area). I modified a few for a better fit, but mostly I wear them as slips now. The material is perfect for layering under sweaters that normally "grab" onto cotton camis. They can definitely be found cheaper elsewhere, though.

Fleece lined leggings - I bought these in damask, which I guess is no longer available. They're completely matted on the inside now, and not what I'd call "fleece lined" anymore. Still pretty on the outside, but definitely no good for warmth.

Downright Awful

OURS vendor search results - Seriously, don't buy anything from OURS. Their photos are stolen from other brands and the quality of their clothes are laughably poor. I threw them away rather than donate them because I knew that they would never be rebought, even at thrift store prices. They were the worst. Woooorst.

Bikini - The shittiest shit that ever shitted. Everything about it was just awful.

Continued because it was too long lmao

11.) Something that would have a profound impact on your life and help you to achieve your current goals.
I honestly really want to get into acting. I love movies and TV shows, and I really would love to start acting. For that reason, this book would be a great addition to my library and would probably teach me a lot.
This book also looks like it would be a good learning experience. :)
I found another great read! I'll pretty much take any acting books I can get.

12.) One of those pesky Add-On items.
Pop Funkos are honestly my go-to add-on item. Like this little fella, for instance. Adorable and affordable (did I just make up a saying? I do believe I did).
What's that? Ah, yes. Pops. The source of my broke-ness. Have another..
Oh, you think I'm done. HA. I'm too far deep to dig myself out of the hole that is my ever-growing collection of Pops. Infinity War just came out (no spoilers, I really want to see it but haven't gotten the chance yet), so how about this adorable Thor Pop? Who doesn't love Thor?

13.) Something fandom related. (Sports fandoms are acceptable- bonus if someone figures out my favorite team)
My favorite band happens to be Twenty One Pilots... and this is a pretty sick shirt.
I'm sorry, I'm still thinking about Infinity War from up above. I found a Thanos shirt that is honestly super cool. Like I've never seen it before and now I want it lmao.
I recently got gifted this absolutely gorgeous and cool Hawkeye T-shirt. It has BOTH Hawkeyes from the comics on it! Super cool.

14.) Something ridiculously priced, more than $10,000. They exist, y’all.
Who the absolute heck buys a $180,000 watch?! Not me, that's for sure.
I'm honestly not even sure what this is, but it's expensive as heck and you could put that money toward an ACTUAL CAR.
Y'all need a parking lift? I gotchu.

15.) Something with sharks or unicorns.
Who doesn't love socks?. Especially socks with unicorns.
You ask for sharks, I get you sharks.
Also no joke this is the cutest thing I've ever seen oh my gosh.

16.) Something that smells wonderful.
I have a cinnamon candle (not that exact one) and I absolutely love it to death.
Who doesn't love coconut lime? I know I love it.
Have you ever thought to yourself, "damn, I really like me the smell of cilantro"? Well, look no further.

17.) A toy that you wanted or had when you were a child that was the best ever, or (if it’s not on amazon) a toy that you think is pretty cool now (Funko Pops, etc., will count.)
If you never played Clue, did you ever really have a childhood?
Another cool toy I had was something like this cool tent-like bus. The one I had had separate sections that were detachable. It was super cool.
I know it's not technically a toy, but I used to watch The Land Before Time ALL the time. I still love that show. It's so, so good.

18.) Something that would be helpful for writers.
Just getting started on writing? Writing for Dummies is always a good place to start.
If you're writing (especially on a computer), you're gonna eventually need some Advil, whether it's from writer's block or a headache from staring at the computer screen too long.
I know it might not be considered useful, but I always thought an ink pen was super cool to have, especially for writers.

19.) Something related to your current obsession, whatever that may be.
I don't know why, but I suddenly really like Harley Quinn's character. I've been getting, like all the Funko Pops of her. I have a problem.
Oh gosh, you shouldn't have asked. I finally finished catching up to The Walking Dead, and now I want everything Negan related. Like, seriously, I just bought a bloody Lucille of my own. Someone stop me. Anyway, here's a cute little Lucille keychain that I've never seen before.
Another thing I really like is Kylo Ren, but I think you already know that. This BrickHeadz is adorable.

20.) Something that is just so random and weird that it makes you laugh.
This oh my gosh i am dying.
Also idk why but just the lady's posture and the huge heckin' bear is k i l l i n g me.
I don't know how I stumbled upon this weirdass thing but the more I look at it the funnier it is.

Also, this whole thing took me like an hour but it was so much fun. Thanks for the contest!

u/mishykahn · 6 pointsr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I just started using these by Hue recently, and I absolutely love them. I forgot I had them and found them at the bottom of my closet, but man was it a great surprise. They are great for my flats, so they're perfect for my TOMS too. They have quite a bit of the rubber on the back of the heel, and I usually have socks that slip off while I'm walking. I almost forgot I even had these on.

Another great pair of socks are these called Lynt and they're made here in Oklahoma. I know the guys that started this up, and they are extremely comfortable too. I was given a free pair when I helped them with an event, and I thought they were just normal socks. They don't slip and are perfect for my TOMS too!

Another great set of socks are these by Tipi Toe. I like them a lot, and they come in cute colors, but for some reason some of the socks slip and some don't. I'm not sure why that is. I used to have issues with them slipping all the time, but I haven't had that problem the last several times I've used them.

Good luck!

u/toramimi · 9 pointsr/feminineboys

I've been through these cycles of binge and purge so many times over the past twenty years, I can't even possibly imagine how many thousands of dollars of absolutely adorable clothes and accessories I've throw out in shame, only to regret it later. I think I'm finally past that, and while I can't necessarily help you get to that place, can't help you work through the associated cognitive dissonance and cultural pressures, I can maybe at least help you rebuild.

Panties are where I always start back off. Simple, plain, cotton panties. Fruit of the Loom, Hanes, whatever, something cotton and with a gusset. I've become partial to Fruit of the Loom Heathers, both in bikini and hipster varieties. I've tried all variety of novelty, skimpy, silky, frilly, and the tried and true panties that make me feel the most feminine, that I'm actually willing to wear day in and day out are simple and breathable. I've recently given Amazon Essentials a try, fully expecting the worst. I was prepared for them to be the sheisty garbage you'd get eBaying from China, poor stitching and loose threads and you wash it once and it falls apart. Not so! Though not as fantastic as Fruit of the Loom Heathers, I'm enjoying the Cotton Stretch Bikini and Cotton Stretch Thong varieties.

From there, no feminine boy is complete without a pair of shimapan! And naturally from there, you'll need to pair them with appropriate stockings!

Of course, one of my favorite things in the world after panties and stockings are skirts! I was just talking to somebody elsewhere on reddit today here, I'm currently wearing the shorter version of that specific skirt. Go long, go short, either way the material is thick and flowy, perfect for going spinny!

I'm also partial to spaghetti straps, and these are my daily drivers. The color set that I have isn't there anymore, but those are all great too!

The next part requires bravery. I have gone thrifting at Goodwill for skirts and tops exactly once, just a couple of months ago. And while I found a haul and was extremely proud of myself, it took all the psyching up in the world to be able to just go and do it. I got a few looks but nobody said anything to me and I powered through. I want to go again, I will go again, but wow that's going to be another brave journey to work up to.

Nail polish I pick up at Big Lots, usually for about $2 per bottle, nail polish remover too. I get all sorts of stuff there anyway so one or two feminine makeup items never raised any eyebrows. I've been shopping there for years so I figure most of the employees get who I am but not a one has ever given me a single bit of grief over it. You can tell from my personality, from how I walk and talk and present myself - it's not the biggest secret in the world, but holy fuck it's scary sometimes just being open with other people face to face. I'm not big on makeup outside of nail polish, that is to say I'm not very experienced, so the $1 and $2 brushes, mascara, eyeshadow, and eyeliner I pick up there do just fine for me. I imagine if I were more experienced or more than a basic bitch I'd be appalled at the quality therein, but I have the bliss of ignorance right now!

I wish I could be more helpful addressing the underlying problem, the shame and cognitive dissonance, the need to hide and the desire to do away with your secrets in order to feel safe and clean. It took me twenty+ years to be even a little ok with myself, to accept myself for who I am, to finally be past purging all my cute and feminine things, so I absolutely get it. Wishing you the best, the strength and resilience to be who you are, to not have to change to satisfy any outside ego structures, to enjoy what you do, and to recognize your inalienable right to look like on the outside how you feel like on the inside. It's a path, a journey, a long hard road that's tough to walk alone. The only thing you can ask of yourself is to do your best, to be the most genuine you that you can possibly be!

u/Osiasya · 7 pointsr/Lolita

TL;DR Anything but dresses.

I have had great success with...

-Lolita Charm socks: BUY THOSE for real they are amazing.

-Hugme Skirts: Get one size up from what you think you need. DON'T buy the suspender skirts they are cute but too short! They say you can message them and tell them a custom length but I have not tried that.

-M4U Skirt: I love my Ice Cream print skirt I got from them, it is long enough and the bow detaches. The fabric is kinda odd, not shiny but it almost feels water proof/smooth like a synthetic fabric.

-These tights in the pastel pack! Get those when they come back into stock they are very comfortable and fit well.

-Purses: I got a great one from the U Like store but I also had one purse never show up from them due to customs. They gave me a refund.

-Shirts: This one Is really meh, I would avoid it unless you can sew details on the cuff sleeves. This one I like but I bought for my size and its too big so maybe order one size down.

u/Bunnygirl78 · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

You need an easy to play game. My (now ex-) husband and I played Quiddler while he went through chemo. It made the process seem faster. The nurses were entertained too. I now recommend Fluxx. It is an easier game and one of my favorites. Both are card games. Cribbage takes up very little space, too, so would be a good choice. Anything small and easy. The truly important thing is the company. In the whole room of people getting chemo, David was the only one with company. I went every time (he had it every other week) except one because I had just gotten out of the hospital myself from meningitis. Even the nurses missed my company lol. They loved that David had someone who would be with him week after week.

Another thing is good socks with non-skid soles. I have some similar to these: https://www.amazon.com/Jacques-Moret-Womens-Kritter-Knitter/dp/B076PWMDNM

They are so comfy and cute! They make me smile.

Those are the things that I know make hospital time easier. Whether from my experience caring for my husband or my various times in the hospital for other things, games and socks are the best things ever.

EDIT: I also recommend hats, like everyone else said. I didn't think of that because David only lost the hair on his legs!

u/kehendrix · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Not entering this contest but I still want to add my suggestions for your birthday gift.

It's all about atmosphere and ambiance. Creating a serene environment conducive to relaxation and reflection. It seems that you are a working mom, a wife and probably wear many more stressful hats in your life. That being said, picture this: dinner is cooked, little one's in bed the house is quiet and there you are in your favorite cozy spot wrapped with this Purple Plush Throw. Your cozy spot is lined with this super duper massage cushion and your feet resting on this shiatsu massager encased in these fluffy purple socks. On a nearby table you have the soothing aromatic scent of lavender emitting from this diffuser. Relaxed and soothed you find that you are a bit restless despite all your efforts, so out comes the coloring book. Using your 50 count pack of colors you sit and color for a while in blissful peace. Unwinding for a few moments and allowing the hustle and bustle of the day to pass away. Maybe you even indulge a bit with a cup of tea as you nosh on these delicious butter cookies. After your relaxing massages, your coloring session and bedtime snack, it is time to slip off to bed.

This is what I would give to you: the gift of moments spent each day exclusively designed to recharge, relax and refocus before the new day dawns. The day dawns and you are refreshed and ready to tackle all that may come.

I honestly have no idea what I'm doing.

So this is my second year of MCJROTC and my second year on our rifle drill team-but my first year as drill team commander. We just had our first performance on the 10th, which went well for a team of rookies. I'm honestly still so worried we're gonna screw up performances yet so excited that I'm in charge of this. I get help from someone from another school and my boyfriend(who was commander last year and is so much better at drill) and I'm happy I don't have to do it alone. A treat for my dork since he likes my thigh highs

I think a lot of people have pointed out the realistic constraints with wanting a commissioned last minute christmas gift. You said you weren't set on having them hand knit so here are a few commercial options thigh high [knit](Velice Womens Winter Wool Thigh High Socks Knee Socks Over the Knee Socks (Dark Green) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01JG79JF4/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_YiDrybWQNN17E) [panda!](Bopstyle Christmas Soft Warm Socks Coral Velvet Knee High Stockings for Girls Gift (Panda) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B018TJ9HZ2/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_MkDryb7QC3QD3)

Not thigh high but knee high custom name socks

Just to give you some options. But if you are set on handknit it might be better to get a jump start on next xmas/a birthday instead of rushing for this one.

I also have these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JHDH630 for when I need a dark sock.

I love shoes! I would wear them with knee-high cat socks for sure.

u/MissingNebula · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

I PM'ed you my answers. I would really like a gift card, so I could put it directly towards the purchase of a more expensive item on my list (a review book for my board of certification), but if you are not comfortable with that, NASA shirt plus cat socks adds up to $24.

Thanks so much for the contest!!

u/femalenerdish · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

They're so expensive, but everything I hear is that they're worth it. I don't think I've ever owned socks that cost more than a few dollars a pair. The one Darn Tough pair I have is def my favorite, but these are a close second.

I have had a lot of luck with Mabua socks. Don't ever slip down the heel, just the right thickness. Big fan.

When it comes to no-show socks, I prefer the ones made of actual sock material too. Hue makes a version that's mostly cotton with a silicon back so they don't slip away. They don't tear easily and they hold up pretty well over time.

u/thenerdiestmenno · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

If you like Studio Ghibli, these have held up well for me! About the toe thing, maybe keep you toenail short if you don't already? And switch feet with the sock? It's weird it's just the one place for a hole.

WANT: I want Marco Raffine colored pencils for my coloring. They're reasonably priced but artist quality.

I just cut all the potentially identifiable crap out of that link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071W35NJN

(only this bit is needed to identify a product by amazon. The rest gives you eg. your search parameters. I have no clue what identifiers are in the last bit, and can't read it. Others might be able to, and amazon certainly can.)
