Thanks! They're super comfy.

I’ve looked all over town for rash guards in the past - they’re around but tbh Amazon, Zappos and Nordstrom had the best selection (for women at least)

heres one for $20

I mean, people wanna be fancy, but I've been wearingOP swim shorts (with 4-way flex technology!) for years. They work great - lightweight, stretchy, breathable, $10 at Walmart\Kohls on sale.

u/Rubber_Soul_4 · 3 pointsr/crossfit

I work out in board shorts. They have no liner and are usually less expensive than most high-end workout shorts.

I love the Quiksilver Men's Everyday Kaimana Boardshort.

They are not too long, have great range of motion, are light, and a are little stretchy.

They are usually $50, but you can find certain colors and sizes for less on Amazon.

First of all congrats on asking this question early enough. Now is your chance to find rooms to stay more easily and potentially totally save a lot of money.

Personally I dont care what you wear, you do you. The only thing I hate is wearing cheap Trachten lookalikes, like shorts with Lederhosen style or overly sexual and crazy coloured Dirndl. I also prefer the classic white shirts over the checkered ones, but I'm a minority in that regard.

The important question will be if you really want to spend a combined 300-500€ on clothes that you might only wear once.

I use these shorts from Aviator.

For something cheaper, many brands offer hybrid shorts which would get the job done. I have some from (Da Hui)[https://www.amazon.com/Dahui-Hybrid-Stretch-Board-Shorts/dp/B01J9K853A?th=1&psc=1] that are a great value, if not quite as stylish.

These are the exact ones right? I was answering based on this picture. If the length was your only concern then you're definitely fine, I thought you were worried about your dong showing lol. Those are longer than the short shorts lots of girls wear, you're not getting in trouble for that!

Out of curiosity, where are you from?

My time to shine! I was always stuck with swim trunks that are way too revealing because they're not designed for me, but all the normal "board-shorts" have these outlandish gaudy colors that look ridiculous on me. I finally found a pair of Kanu Surf shorts that I really like. I'm 6'4" and they're very comfortable.

u/drizzlepop · 41 pointsr/AmItheAsshole

I totally agree that board shorts or the long swim trunks are uncomfortable. It's too much fabric.

What about a compromise and get something more like this. They're shorts, so they have more coverage than briefs (potentially less "embarrassing" for daughter) but a lot smaller and less fabric than board shorts so you'll be more comfortable.

u/Nanich1 · 1 pointr/Underwear

I am sure there is. If there is, I am not sure why you would not just call them swimming shorts. I know there are some swimwear that look like underwear.

Though I am not opposed to wearing brief or boxer brief style swimwear in the right setting, the above examples of swimwear that looks like underwear are too much for me.

What are those shorts?

Edit: I found them and they look great but are these the same ones you have OP?

OP how do they feel? Are they worth $15?

u/shabona · 1 pointr/onebag

I get my husband men's speedo shorts. He likes them.

Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GK3P5XX/ref=twister_B07GCCJNG2?th=1&psc=1

u/ghost_mv · 1 pointr/bjj

these are cheap and great quality

I know it is not MFA's favorite brand but I actually like some of the Diesel swim trunks if you have the physique to go short. I have a pair I wear when I swim laps, and if you can avoid the ones with huge branding I think they work well. They make some that are 20% elastine, so they'll comfortable stretch no matter how swole your thighs get.

Diesel Striped Swim Trunk

Much safer socially than going to a brief. No one wants to be the "Speedo" guy.

Damn man buy a uv blocking shirt

I bought some of these and survived a trip to the Caribbean with my little ones. I just put uv face cream on, and reapplied sunscreen to my face maybe once every two hours.

Then a spritz of sunscreen on my shoulders and wore that shirt in and out of the ocean. Worked like a charm, and maybe one third of the people were wearing them too!

Yes I discovered it for the first time 2 nights ago and I won 2 things in an hour. This, which isn't something I'd use but my girlfriend will. And this, which isn't my size but I'll just give it away.

u/EAJuggalo · 2 pointsr/Swimming

Most colored ones will not go see through on you. This is the one I just bought for my son, in a much smaller size of course. https://www.amazon.com/Kanu-Surf-Rashguard-Shirt-Charcoal/dp/B00FQE3YSU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1524311630&sr=8-5&keywords=men%27s+swim+shirt
