(Part 2) Reddit mentions: The best tool trays

While I don't have a white shelf, I use two of these shelves in black. I don't really have a good picture of the whole thing, but here's the top two shelves with all of my amiibo on it. For reference, there are three more available shelves the same size below this picture.

If it's too much space for you, may I suggest the smaller stands I have in my picture in conjunction with your current one? Here's a link to the Amazon listing for those if you're interested, but I'd measure out your current shelf to make sure they fit.

I'd suggest searching within this subreddit for the word 'shelf' or 'stand'. You'll find a lot of people will have answered your question already. :)

That's awesome. The shot from the bondo to the paint is amazing. Also, if you haven't got a drip tray, I might recommend this. Magnetic, no holes, and much cheaper than an "official" drip tray. I have one on my kegerator.

Oh, nice. I have an olsatools socket tray sitting in my amazon wishlist for a while, and I was about to pull the trigger at $40. The kobalt looks identical, just that it's in blue.

This style is what I use and recommend. Can be easily reconfigured and is very efficient on space. But depending on the actual dimensions of your box you may need something different.

Not an easy task to try and do. I think the only thing that will work well is to shadow the bit holder it's self. Bits will still stay organized within a holder, but have a place in the box. It all depends on the number of bits you are dealing with. Here are some products that might help.

As I've recently started down the path of resorting by part rather than color, I too have found the usefulness of a search bin. Based on recommendations, I've picked up a couple of these funnel trays at Harbor Freight. Inexpensive at $3. Or you can go with a similar popular one at Amazon. The sides are not tall so easier to reach into and sift around than typical bins/trays. Then easy to dump back into storage container when done. They're not big so having a couple around is handy to dump out a bigger bin to sort/search through.

or don't have a magnetic tape and buy a $7 magnetic bowl on Amazon like most people do. Which costs less than the tape and isn't a one time use thing

Don’t kick the bucket! these actually work pretty well for misc fittings. Put a lid on the bucket 3 of these will have you set. If you have enough parts mark one but 1/2 and another 3/4 or mc/romex.

Jeep screws use a Torx pattern, I bought some bits just for the Jeep. Not these, but same idea.

I recently tried to get the rear doors off of my Jeep because they had never been removed and they were corroded in place. I ended up using a floor jack with a piece of wood underneath the door to pry it off. PB Blaster on the hinges, slowly jack it up and the door should pop off. Make sure to go slow in case it pops up too fast.

Yeah, I noticed the new socket rails when I stopped in Monday night. Don't appear to be on the web site yet. I don't remember the price, but it didn't seem outlandish to me. Though I'm looking at the price for the ones I recently bought on Amazon and I don't think HF was beating that price. In fact, I'm thinking it maybe been $12.99 for the 1/2" rail at HF vs. $10.99 on Amazon. The fact that I can get the Amazon ones in different colors would make me choose them even at an equivalent price. I want all my SAE storage to be red and my metric to be blue or black.

Battlefoam is what you're looking for. They make foam inserts cutout specifically for the game you're playing, however, they're quite pricey.

You can also get pre-cut foam and make your own for cheaper. I did this for my x wing mini game.
