I"m assuming that you will be going soon, say the next month or so, time of year counts, but I'll assume it's soon.

Your tent is a little "meh." it'll work but it might not last so long; especially take core of the poles, they beak easily. Also the cheapo tent stakes that come with the tent are going to bend and you will curse them every time you set up your tent. Pick up some like these and they will serve you well. (Personally I hate using tents; they are hassles to set up and take down, and generally not pleasant to sleep in. If you can help it try sleeping under the stars and see if that suits you.)

You might find your sleeping bag to be a bit chilly, I'd recommend a 20 degree bag with a hood. I know it won't get that cold but the degree ratings are quite exaggerated so 20 degrees is really more suitable for 50 degrees. If you don't want to spend more money on a bag, make sure you have warm clothes and a good fitting beanie.

Air mattresses are fine, just take care to feel out for thorns or anything that might puncture it. Also you might want a blanket or something in between you and the mattress because it will suck out the heat from underneath you if you don't have some insulation.

You should have a tarp or footprint to put your tent on to protect it and the air mattress from punctures, it's worth it. The tarp you have should be fine (maybe doubled over if its thin), but a footprint will be more convenient.

For $15 that stove is a great deal, buy it if it still works fine. It runs off of white gas AKA "camp fuel", which you can find at many grocery stores, gas stations, any place with a sporting goods section, and many stores near popular camping areas. Finding white gas is not really an issue.

Don't buy matches, just get 2 or 3 Bic lighters. Really you should learn to make a fire using only your lighter, make that your goal each night. In a pinch my favorite fire starter is one you can make at home before your trip. Get an old egg carton and stuff each cup with cotton balls or dryer lint. then pour melted candle wax into each cup until about 90% full. Let the carton harden then pack it away. To use it rip off one cup and light the cardboard edge, you will have a strong flame for about 15 minutes.

Don't buy a filter. Water will be easy to come by at most campsites, but not all of them have a tap so make sure to bring along a few extra gallons just in case.

Lanterns produce almost no usable light, save your money and stick with the headlamp. Also that headlamp is excellent I highly recommend it. Protip: leave it around your neck like a necklace when you sleep then it's easy to find in the middle of the night.

I have a lot of experience with wilderness medicine and those pre-made kits are mostly worthless, you are much better off making your own kit.

• Mini Swiss Army Knife - Excellent scissors and tweezers for minor injuries, sterilize with a flame before each use
  
• Sunscreen - Don't want to get burned
  
• Triple Antibiotic (Neosporin) - Ward off infection of open wounds, do not apply directly to the cut but rather around like a defensive wall
  
• Alcohol Prep Pads - Cleans and sterilizes open wounds before dressing
  
• Add Any Prescription Meds / Regularly Taken Medicines - Inhaler, insulin, Epi-Pen, ect.
  
• Add Anything That Makes You Feel Better Knowing You Have It - eg snake bite kits, aspirin, SAM splint, burn gel
  
  Chair looks comfy, get one you like with at least 1 cupholder
  
  A good knife makes a great survival tool and is just generally a useful item, check here every few days for a good deal on high quality knives. Multi tools are great to have around camp but an inexpensive set of tools would be much better for your situation. If you want a true multi-tool this one is good quality and a fair price.
  
  

Hey everyone, I cringe when I see the cost vs contents of most first aid kits on the market. Too much unnecessary stuff and only the highest priced kits have clotting powder, which I’ve used on the trail for controlling bleeding with large abrasions and deep or tangential lacerations. I put together my suggestions, with an eye toward maximizing usefulness and minimizing per unit cost. IMO this is superior to most kits costing 2-3x more. Remember that compression alone, when done properly, effectively controls most bleeding. But when a member of your group is on aspirin or other blood thinners, or sustains a nasty cut that won’t stop bleeding, this stuff is awesome.

Grab a few extra straws from your local fast food joint, trim them to 2 inches, then roll up 4 to 6ft lengths of duct tape around the straw. The straw in the middle doubles as a pocket billows for fire starting.

Heyyyooo! I'm your girl. I have MS and have wicked hand tremors among similar annoying issues when it comes to makeup. Chunky shadow sticks like this has been a staple and a lifesaver, it's thicker to hold and line with than a liner but pigmented darker than a shadow and more forgiving for mistakes due to what I lovingly refer to as the shakes. If you use a primer (I go for tube or doe foot types, they're easy to smear with a finger) it's nice to layer a shadow over part of it and then it just straight up looks like a nice casual liner/shadow combo.

I've found that using self grip athletic tape to wrap around smaller lids and brushes has been a lifesaver, it's a good surface for me to keep hold of and really get a good grasp on and you can wrap a smaller brush to build up the thickness you need, where you need it on the brush or lid or whatever, without worrying about a sticky mess.

Also I cannot speak highly enough about the magic of beauty blenders for cleaning up a look and blending out coordination issues.

As a Dom, and someone who has had to be with someone who has a colostomy bag, my step father had colon cancer, and now has to use a colostomy bag, all I could say is to be careful with tape!! You don't want to put too much pressure on the bag, and end up having it explode. It could add to his self-consciousness about his bag.

I know you don't see it, but it's always on his mind. You're a good person for being so cavalier about it. Some people can be pretty judgemental.

As far as recommendations for how to secure it, I would recommend self adhesive medical wrap. There's all different sizes, shapes, colors, patterns, etc... Here is one that I tend to use.

EDIT: I know you said you were broke, but these two fixes are very inexpensive. About five dollars each at most.

I do one of two things. Get some self adhering wrap and wrap my finger. Like this. Or, I get my rosin bag out. You can find rosin powder at pretty much any sporting goods store. It's used to dry your hands and promote better grip, but it also works to make your hands an excellent grinding surface. Not sure how it does both, but it does.

For after blisters form, I had great success with these at a tradeshow. The adhesive is awesomely strong, and the gel-like structure absorbs the blister liquid to keep everything dry. Stopped the growth of the blister and got me back to 95% normal.

Additionally to all the great advice about stamping, I suddenly got good at it when I stopped pressing down the stamper so hard. It's really just the liiiightest of rolling it over the plate. You might also want to look into jelly stampers, those often work better. And actual stamping polishes have always worked better for me!
To answer your second question, you may want to look into those.

Benzoyl Peroxide works much better than SA. Something like this. A Hydrocolloid Patch over it for few hours and it will draw out all the gunk that’s in it.

I love coban. A few 4x4s (or other dressing) and coban can over a variety of wounds.

Spenco 2nd Skin is great too, although it is expensive.

I bought these a couple of months ago to use on my cystic acne. They're HUGE so I can cut them up (with clean scissors!) into lots of smaller pieces, meaning that I'm still only on the second dressing out of the five-pack. Prompt shipping when I bought them too, would recommend if you can't find them anywhere else.

In high school once at a party, I pulled out my bag of needles and vials of insulin to dose.

I have seen them and owned a combo box of knuckle/fingertip bandaids (the latter was generally used more than the former); but I've never seen them in a regular box of bandaids - usually regular boxes are either all one size, or else the two or three sizes of straight bandaids (depending on which type of bandaid you buy - the fabric, the waterproof, the duct-tape-esque strong, etc.).

Best I've tried is SkinTac and Simpatch used together. simpatch at amazon simpatch is kinda pricey compared to other tapes. But it's cut to fit the G5 and a pack can last 9 months to a year.

For the week long patches these seem to be the only ones that have worked the best for me, especially after multiple showers as long as it has more on the top than on the bottom since it will peel at the edges

Get some of those little round adhesive bandages like these. They’re quick to put on, perfectly sized, inconspicuous, and prevent nipple chaffing.

This was recently suggested either here or in /r/bdsm. Also make sure to always have safety scissors and to tie knots that don't tighten on itself.

The ones from amazon have been amazing for me. I had a big pimple on my nose and the bandage pulled it out plus blackheads around it. My pores looked tiny!

The ones I've bought are "Help I have a Blister" because they were cheap, but apparently they're not available on amazon anymore. They should all be pretty similar though.

Dang, that is a level of confidence to aspire to! Personally, I put little opaque round bandaids like these over them. It probably makes it more obvious that there's something on my face, but I feel less self-conscious about these for some reason.

Not OP, but I find that if you're sweaty, they don't hurt at all. And band-aids are one of the things I don't cheap out on - it doesn't have to be Brand-Aid brand, but get the flexible/woven type ones. I happen to be using these Band-Aids now and they're fine (although a little less quality than last year for some reason).

Also, if you have issues when them falling off, apply them vertically - prevents the shirt from snagging them.

Don't use hockey tape. Use the self adhesive stuff. It won't muck up the controller and you can get it in any color you desire.

I would say the latter is a bit more "sticky", but both work fine for me.

You might be imagining band-aids to be lighter than they actually are. They're not the color of white skin. This is the image of band-aids from Amazon (source) overlaid on top of a stock photo. Nobody that skin color would be called white.

Maybe they make lighter band-aids that do match white skin. But I've only ever seen that darker color.

These are what I use, I cut a hole in the middle of each half for the actual sensor to go through and then the plastic surrounds it.(notice these are 4in x 4.45in so I cut them in half and use one half at a time)

I bought the last box at Walgreens, but you can also find them at Rite- Aids or any other drug store. It's actually a lot cheaper to just buy them on Amazon, check Ebay too!

You could use basically any press on nails, but use tabs instead if glue. Like these!

Use moleskin and tape your feet up (there is special tape). If your feet are hot (aka hotspots) they will turn into a blister. So catch the hotspot before the blister. You can also use this

Some people use 2 socks, for some it makes it worse, kinda depends on the person.

How about these?

Since its the nail glue that's causing the issue, these might be a little more gentle. I just don't know how rough you are on the fake nails.
