I shop on Amazon because I get gift cards for work (camgirl). I'll list whatever I find in my order history - Apologies if it includes anything discontinued. I shop on Amazon.com and Amazon.ca as I am Canadian, so I'll include finds from both.

Loves

Bombsheller octopus leggings - They don't carry these on Amazon anymore, but last I checked, they do allow you to pay via Amazon on their website. The size chart was off when I first ordered them so I exchanged them for a size up, and the company was very accomodating. The leggings are comfy and sturdy.

Jellyfish socks - Adorable and well made. Definitely plan to purchase more designs from this seller.

Snowpants - I don't wear these a lot since I'm more the summer outdoorsy type, but they were excellent for walking my ex's dog in the winter and I still occasionally wear them for running errands on foot when it's really cold out.

Burned velvet leggings - I bought these in "blurple" and adore them. They're slightly sheer, so I wear other leggings underneath (these ones from eBay do the trick).

Anna-Kaci search result link - Anna-Kaci is an awesome vendor with well priced attire. I listed the vendor since the specific items I purchased are no longer available.

Thigh high socks - I have found these cheaper on amazon.ca, but this was the first pair I bought. Cute and sturdy! I now have 3 more pairs on their way!

Zebra print scarf - I was impressed by the quality of this one. I did donate it when I was gifted a similar scarf in black/gray as I try not to keep duplicates of non-essentials, but I would still have it otherwise.

Timberland knee high boots - Bought these in black, and they are probably one of my favorite Amazon purchases ever. If I were to ever re-buy these, I'd go a half size up, as I had to get them professionally stretched once they arrived, but holy fuck I love these boots. Waterproof, and fantastic quality. They're my go-to boots and I wear them more than any other piece of footwear I own.

Underbust belt - I'm not huge on the price tag, only because I once bought a nearly identical one on clearance pre-breast-augmentation. I'm glad I was able to buy this one post-op since the old one stopped fitting though. Will buy in more colors if they ever go on sale.

Booties - Pleasantly surprised by the quality! Will definitely consider buying more if I ever want/need them in different colors. Comfier for longer wear than most of my other heels, too.

Suspender Skirt - I love this thing so much, I bought two more on eBay after buying this one in black. This one's definitely better quality than the other two, though. I'd recommend wearing them with a shorts slip since there's not a lot of length to them. I'm actually really sad that they don't ship this to Canada anymore, otherwise I'd buy a couple more colors.

Beechfield beanie - This is definitely more my style when it comes to fit, but isn't as warm as the cable knits. Definitely one of my go-to hats.

Likes

Wet look batwing top - Surprised by the fit/quality for the price. Fabric looks/feels a bit cheap but overall the piece is well made.

Chunky cable knit beanies - I ordered this hat in olive, mustard, and teal. They're comfy, warm, and feel well made. I find them to be a little too bulky for my head, so I'm trying to stretch them out/break them in a bit. Definitely personal preference though, and not a quality issue.

Glitter loafers with spikes - They're gorgeous, but not high quality. I'd put them under "meh" for lifespan, but I did love them up until they started falling apart.

Holo creepers - I really need to wear these more, but my day-to-day fashion is much more casual and I don't party like I used to. Working my way towards wearing them more. The quality is decent but I don't think they'll last forever.

JollyChic search result link - JollyChic is great for cheap-ish stuff. I've bought from them a number of times and rarely been disappointed. Some of their synthetic stuff smells chemically at first (shiny leggings being one) but the smell dissipates after a couple washes. Their customer service is also stellar. Shared the search results since the specific items I ordered are no longer listed.

Iron Fist sweater - Bought in a size small, fits more like a medium. Will be shrinking it.

Waist belt - Great quality for the price (~$13CAD if I recall correctly). Fit is a little stiff, so it can look a little boxy with some outfits as it isn't flexible around curves, but overall still nice.

Meh

Faux fur vest #1 - Not the worst quality, but definitely felt cheaper than a couple other vests I own. Ended up selling it since the size chart was off and I didn't love it enough to exchange it for the right size.

Faux fur vest #2 - Slightly lower quality than #1, but same deal - Size chart was inaccurate, but not worth exchanging so I sold it.

Thermal leggings - Smelled awful at first, but it went away overtime. They are still pretty warm even after washing/wearing them for a couple years now, but they pill, so they're not the most aesthetically pleasing. Great for layering, but would not buy again.

Skull cardigan - It's cute and cozy. I wear it around the house more than out, since I noticed after washing it that the bottom corners started curling up a bit due to shrinkage. Also wish it was a tad bit longer.

Spiked slouch beret - The creases are a little harder than I wanted/expected, so I'm trying to stretch it out/break it in a bit. I have other hats that I like more though, so this one doesn't get a lot of love and might just end up being donated.

Leg warmers - Quality-wise, they should be in the "loves" section, but I bought these back when I was on a wild spree to better prepare myself for winter, and while I do love how warm they are, the patterns/colors just aren't my style.

Digital print tanks - The quality is about what I expected for the material, but I found the fit to be off on most of them (especially in the armpit area). I modified a few for a better fit, but mostly I wear them as slips now. The material is perfect for layering under sweaters that normally "grab" onto cotton camis. They can definitely be found cheaper elsewhere, though.

Fleece lined leggings - I bought these in damask, which I guess is no longer available. They're completely matted on the inside now, and not what I'd call "fleece lined" anymore. Still pretty on the outside, but definitely no good for warmth.

Downright Awful

OURS vendor search results - Seriously, don't buy anything from OURS. Their photos are stolen from other brands and the quality of their clothes are laughably poor. I threw them away rather than donate them because I knew that they would never be rebought, even at thrift store prices. They were the worst. Woooorst.

Bikini - The shittiest shit that ever shitted. Everything about it was just awful.

u/blacktieaffair · 2 pointsr/fringefashion

Also paging /u/melfinastarwind as well :D A lot of the things I save are a little more goth ninja or cyber-y at best, but there are also lots of ruffles and lace in these stores!

  1. PattyBoutik! Their stuff seems to be pretty well reviewed, adequatley priced, and really cute. I love their simple black tops as they feature a lot of different cuts. For example, I've been coveting this for ages.

  2. Ellazhu! Lots of pants (harem pants hnnnnng) but lots of tops sprinkled in there as well.

  3. WearAll!

  4. AllegraK! Tops, tops everywhere.

So that should get you started in that area of amazon shops. The real magic comes in when you're recommended products from other stores, which is a great way to branch out and explore more of them.

Some disclaimers I'd say about those Amazon shops though is that you really have to be picky with what you buy or accept that your stuff might not be very high quality, considering a lot of them come from Asia. However I've never really had a problem ordering from them, you just have to be sure to check the individual reviews of the products you want.
u/Osiasya · 7 pointsr/Lolita

TL;DR Anything but dresses.

I have had great success with...

-Lolita Charm socks: BUY THOSE for real they are amazing.

-Hugme Skirts: Get one size up from what you think you need. DON'T buy the suspender skirts they are cute but too short! They say you can message them and tell them a custom length but I have not tried that.

-M4U Skirt: I love my Ice Cream print skirt I got from them, it is long enough and the bow detaches. The fabric is kinda odd, not shiny but it almost feels water proof/smooth like a synthetic fabric.

-These tights in the pastel pack! Get those when they come back into stock they are very comfortable and fit well.

-Purses: I got a great one from the U Like store but I also had one purse never show up from them due to customs. They gave me a refund.

-Shirts: This one Is really meh, I would avoid it unless you can sew details on the cuff sleeves. This one I like but I bought for my size and its too big so maybe order one size down.

Item: Wood Wood Abril Tee

  • Price paid: $96, including shipping
  • Construction: Great
  • Etcetera: I really wanted a breton stripe top, and shopped around for a suitable option. I was tempted by St. James (the originals!) but ended up going for this shorter-sleeved version. It's a cool shirt, but it definitely feels a bit different than what I originall wanted. It's a little stiffer & shorter than I was planning for.
  • Worth it? Y/N Overall I really like it, but it fills a different role for me than a breton stripe shirt. As a result I'm still considering buying a more traditional version.

Item: Frye Otis Penny Loafer, Sapphire

  • Price paid: $82.61, off Amazon (now sold out there)
  • Construction: Not bad, they're welted and leather throughout and such. Not the greatest leather ever, but doesn't feel like 'genuine leather,' either. Probably top grain.
  • Etcetera: I dunno what exactly happened here. I missed some flash sale tassel loafers, and then kind of went mad searching for blue loafers until I found these. Definitely a weird impulse buy. That said, I like loafers and these are super comfy, if a bit large. (I bought my normal size)
  • Worth it? Y/N/kindof? I like wearing these, but I'm really not sold on the color and distressing in-person. I may try some navy shoe cream to darken them up and even out the distressing. I wear these a lot, though, and use them as house slippers, so they've made up their cost.

    Item: Women's 1000 Mile Boot

  • Price paid: $355
  • Construction: Amazing.
  • Etcetera: I had wanted these boots for ~6 months, and when I got the chance to try them on, I couldn't leave the store without purchasing. I love these boots.
  • Worth it? YES/N

Item: Cheap Monday Colleen Shirt, Light Washed Denim

  • Price paid: ~$64
  • Construction: Good
  • Etcetera: I wanted a sleeveless button up shirt and this one wasn't a perfect match for my goals, but I kept coming back to it. Decided to buy partly on impulse, partly because I couldn't get it out of my head. I plan to make some alterations on it this summer, as it's slightly large, but I'm liking it so far.
  • Worth it? Y/N

    Item: Crewcuts boys' short-sleeve henley

  • Price paid: ~$26
  • Construction: Seems good, but I have not worn/washed yet.
  • Etcetera: I just received this, but including in the interest of honesty. It's really soft and fits like I wanted (very slightly oversized) so I hope to get a lot of use out of it in the future.
  • Worth it? Y/N/We'll see

I've bought a few not-fashion clothing items, like athletic socks and tights, but I don't really consider those here.

    **

I bought tops and shoes, lol. I hadn't even realized this... The shoes were both totally unnecessary, but I
love* shoes so much that I tend to overlook necessity when purchasing. I consider all the tops sensible purchases, as they fill a hole in my wardrobe and all three bring significant diversity to my normal uniform of plain tees. I think I need to stop buying shoes, though... but my boyf just got me a pair of espadrilles... they are really clearly my weak point.

I'd say that going for a (mostly) black outfit maybe your best shot at looking professional while also being able to mix in your personal style.

Regarding shirts, this black floaty top will certainly look smart when paired with something like a simple pencil skirt (which is petite too! and elasticated so it'll be comfortable to move around in)

I'd pair these with a pair of simple black or sheer pantyhose, a blazer in any style really, you can't go wrong with an all black outfit and some simple brogues. You can add further personal touches with your hair and jewellery.

If it was something a little more covered up this shirt is pretty good for that.

And to make it a little more casual a cardigan (1) (2) would be a good way to go.

And, lastly, for trousers, these look pretty good and as they are juniors they should fall a little shorter.

Obligatory, Working in my birthday suit and good luck! I hope you find something :)

This top

With these pants

And this blazer

and to top it off...

get these pumps

It doesn't even break the bank and with all the colors you can mix and match and accessorize with jewelry and look different every day.

This outfit goes from the board room to the dance floor with ease. Also, they are durable as hell, for instance, the white one of the tank top I spilled an entire glass of red wine on while I was dancing the night away after work. Threw it in the wash after throwing some shout on it - like brand new.

I also try to stick to chiffon for shirts for two reasons. First, they lay nicely on everyone, and second, if you spill something on it, you can run to the bathroom, shout pen it, rinse, and then stick it under the hand dryer and it's like you never spilled your coffee on you for the millionth time this year. (This will also work for pit stains if it gets too hot, have your friend hold the door, take off the shirt, run it under the hand dryer, LIKE NEW.)

These items go on sale ALL the time at Amazon. I only buy the tank tops when they are $7.99 for instance. Install camel camel on your browser and set a price watch for them.

Bonus, if you're in a colder room and the tank isn't your thing, you can substitute this blouse, which also looks amazing on everyone and professional AF

Another bonus, if the boot cut pants are too "professional", you can dress the tops down with jeans or these leggings which manage to hold you in all day long without riding down.

I am obsessed with Amazon style in general. Almost everything has free returns if you have prime, so I order a ton of stuff, see what fits, and then send back what I don't like. It's great. People compliment me on my outfits all the time and I am like muahahhahahhaha, I didn't even pay a ton of money for this. <3

u/timonandpumba · 1 pointr/femalefashionadvice

I don't personally wear a lot of button ups, so I'm less sure about those, but I do have two great ones from Jones New York for interviews and such. Still pretty reasonably priced, and they have darts at the waist that create a nice shape. If you look at this image you will see the seams down the bodice on each side - that will create a bit of a curve to your waist. Also, you'll notice it doesn't button straight up to the top of the collar, but leaves a nice trim v-neck. I think details like that really feminize a classic piece - imagine that in white rather than the bright magenta in the image. At first look, it's just a white button down, but it has some thoughtful details to make it "dainty" for lack of better word.

skirt ($26)

ribbon

shirt

Honestly, you could and probably should find the shirt and ribbon in person to make sure the red matches, but to be safe I linked them.

Looks like a fun outfit and I hope you found this helpful!

If I may add, I think going with a shoulder free top would look great as well!

Sounds like fun.

  • I've always been interested in women's clothes, especially shoes. I only put 1+1 together and identified as a crossdresser around 11 or 12. I'm now 18.

  • One person, my cousin who is the cloest thing I have to a brother, but he lives states away. He's the only one I can talk to about it and he's accepting. My mom stumbled across my crossdressing and had some freaky breakdown, purged my shit, and assumed it was done and over. That is why I have not told her that it's not done and over.

  • I feel pretty, oh so pretty. Idk, I like the idea of being beautiful. I see cool technology, I want it. I see a beautiful woman, I kind of want to be that too. Doesn't mean I dislike my life, but there's nothing like a dress and a pair of heels. Unfortunately, whenever I do dress, 99% of the time it becomes sexual.

  • I try to dress with some amount of class. That means classy heels, untorn jeans, beautiful blouses over a white cami, cute red summer dresses, etc. I get everything from Amazon.

  • I feel like I don't pass because I haven't really tried in public yet, or gone all the way at home with makeup and hair. I have a positive outlook though because people are already mistaking me for a woman when in the presence of other women due to my long hair. I'll be in public in total guy-mode and people will refer to me as ma'am or say "I'll be right with you ladies" at restaurants.

  • I... don't know? I love to wear the clothes but I'm still me, but I'm definitely a more feminine version of me so...?

  • I have not crossdressed in public officially. I've worn flats out once but it was half-assed under some jeans and at night and nobody stared, but I hardly consider that crossdressing in public.

  • I'm straight. I'd never want to fuck another guy, however some role reversal with a woman sounds... kinky fun.
u/marypies78 · 3 pointsr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I like to wear t-shirts too! I like to wear t-shirts or comfortable blouses that have more details that a plain tee, it makes all of the difference. A couple of examples - tee, tee, tee, or blouses like
this or this

An interesting sweater over your tee plain can look very nice too. this is my favorite summer 'sweater' right now here, which looks great with just a white tee & jeans.

As a mom with a 1yo, comfort comes first day to day! I'm a mom too & I know you are running around & constantly bending down all day!
Also, accessories can change up your whole look. I know it's hard right now with a little one, babies & toddlers tend to rip off necklaces & earrings! But maybe an interesting belt or a pretty scarf in your hair?

u/topcoatsandhats · 14 pointsr/Atypical

Its def an athletic style, leaning more masc. a lot of what she wears is “boy” clothing, or more sort of neutral. Never anything overtly fem aside from her crop tops.

She also seems to wear a lot of reds, yellows, and blues. As someone with a similar style, there’s a few things you could search for to get similar outfits. I get a lot from amazon; for this season, you can search for like women’s fall clothing, and pick out what you think matches the style best. She also wears the occasional striped polo. Idk if you present masc or fem, but if you typically present more fem, just be prepared maybe a comment or two. I present fem, but def more tomboyish, and I still would be tiny bit nervous to wear just a polo and jeans, but that’s just me. Obviously you are free to do what you want. Here’s a few links to clothes that I have that I think are similar style if you’re interested:

I'm gonna spam my own fashion sense, I hope you like some of what I like ;p

If you want dresses, I would recommend one size fits all dresses off Amazon. Then you don't have to worry about cups that are not filled by breasts. I really love Sakkas brand, which you can find on Amazon. I have this, for example, and the top part is stretchy so it's basically one size fits all: https://www.amazon.com/Sakkas-103141-Adara-Batik-Dress/dp/B00K1ML5JW/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827864&sr=8-33&keywords=sakkas+dress

Or any cheap $10-$15 dress from a place like Forever 21 is so poorly designed that it is effectively one size fits all.

Here are some cute colorful socks:

https://www.amazon.com/HSELL-Colorful-Rainbow-Argyle-Multicolors/dp/B01DSKGV92/ref=sr_1_33?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827534&sr=8-33&keywords=one+size+fits+all+dress

I know a lot of people here also love those cat thigh high socks, like these:

https://www.amazon.com/Kawaii-Cartoon-Animal-Tattoo-Stockings/dp/B0163422D4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827633&sr=8-1&keywords=cat+thigh+high

I bought this in the past and I think it's kinda androgynous

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JKF0BNC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Cape coats are technically women's fashion but they're so obscure that I think a lot of people don't know how to gender them

https://www.amazon.com/Artka-Womens-Embroidery-Turn-down-Collar/dp/B00F8A0C5U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482827761&sr=8-1&keywords=cape+coats

I also really love Mordenmiss jackets (also off Amazon). They're really loose and kinda art smock-y.

I bought this pair of boots a while back and they're really, really nice!

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KAI4GL6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I've also bought these and I get tons of compliments on them

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00OMUIWD6/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also have this Forever 21 dino sweatshirt and I can't walk 5 minutes without getting a compliment on it. Unfortunately it isn't sold in stores anymore, but this might help give more ideas of femme clothing.

https://cdnd.lystit.com/photos/2013/10/28/forever-21-blackgold-quirky-dinosaur-sweatshirt-product-1-14521999-527549268.jpeg

I think anything that is a "Women's [traditionally male clothing]" is bound to look fairly androgynous. Like women's button downs, women's sweatshirts and sweatpants, women's leather jackets, etc.

u/HopelessSemantic · 3 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Pssh, bigger girl? Bigger my enormous butt!

However, here are some things off my various wish lists, since we seem to have similar taste. Also, if you're not already aware, always check the reviews for size suggestions, and, when in doubt, get a size larger. For some reason there will be some things where amazon says something fits as it should, but all the reviews say it runs small.

This is my favorite dress. Very smooth, flowy, and flattering. Here is the same one in black.

This is very cute, though I can't speak personally since I don't have that one. Same for these tops.

Edit 2: You got me looking at clothes, and I found more I like! Most of which wouldn't fit me, like this very cute dress that should fit you based on the sizes on your wish list. The company Hell Bunny also has some stuff you might like, but beware of the sizing, it runs really small. They don't make my size. :( Neither does Lindy Bop, but most of their dresses, while gorgeous, are not cut for larger bodies.

usually if the top is dark enough with the skirt being bolder scalloped blouses don't accentuate the feature. This dress in particular would, but here is a good outfit example

Top

Skirt

With the right jewelry like a loose bangle and cute chucks, maybe a loose fitting Tie Choker or something that would help reduce the appearance of the size of the shoulder because having a brighter item on the bottom will draw more attention away from your shoulders.

Edit:

And if you don't like the skirt (that one is an example of course, there are a lot cuter ones out there) white jeans or shorts would look really sharp too.

Edit 2 : Apparently I can't spell today. Hopefully I don't keep nitpicking this haha. I love putting together outfits. If anyone has suggestions for me as well feel free to message me with ideas!

u/Pixachii · 1 pointr/weddingplanning

Yes definitely! I bought a mixed bag of these flannels. Every girl is getting a different color, though in hindsight I kind of wish I did the same color for everyone.

There are cheaper flannels out there, (I heard JC Penny might have some on sale right now?) but I like and wear this brand during the fall anyways, so I was okay with splurging for flannels that I know will fit well and will last.

I went to school in Michigan (Hillsdale College), and I miss Michigan SO much! :) Whereabouts are you? I bet you're going to have beautiful weather for your wedding! <3

Thanks! Here it is. It definitely fits as expected. It's pretty comfy, I'm pleasantly surprised :3

If not, give more specifics (material, collar type, where she wants the ruffles, etc) and I’m happy to try and find more.

i've had this thing open for 30 minutes trying to come up with something to say and all i got is "i fell into a flannel rabbit hole on amazon" this one is my favorite , anyone else got a favorite flannel on there? i'm rly interested in ones that are lined! (and i prefer flannels that are dark colored!)
