It’s not about me, but my therapist. Before SCOTUS ruled for marriage equality, North Carolina did. I’m in SC very close to the NC border, so obviously this was a huge deal. My therapist had been living with her fiancée for many years and the weekend that NC made the decision they roadtripped up to NC. She’s an ordained minister so she officiated the first gay marriage in NC (the gay couple in front of her in line at the courthouse) and was a member of the second! It was the coolest thing. I think the SCOTUS ruling was the following year.

When I was younger I dated an older woman long distance. I was about 17-18 and she was 24-ish. I asked her out awhile after meeting her and she turned me down, so I asked for permission to continue pursuing her and she hesitantly gave it, so I just waited. Probably followed on her coattails a lot, LOL But after nine months she brought it up and said she’d like to give it a try. She was loosely Mormon and raised in Malaysia and Singapore, so she had a degree, spoke five languages, and had done a tour in the army (required conscription). The Mormon church requires all able bodied men to do at least a six month tour of missionary work, and she was so offended that they didn’t hold women to the same standards that she signed up eighteen months and went to Taiwan and spent a year and a half on a bicycle as a missionary. It didn’t work out and we lost touch awhile, but she made a blog on Tumblr about a year later—didn’t list her name or anything identifying, but I saw the interests and the art on the sidebar and messaged asking “did you go by ___?” (her nickname) And she freaked out thinking she had a stalker, but I just recognised her syntax and her favourite artist. It was the funniest thing, she thought she was going to surprise me but I surprised her instead. She visited the US for a couple days last year and we explored downtown and had a nice time. We weren’t meant to be romantically but I love her in a dozen other ways.

How long have you had your piercings? This will make a difference. For the nostril, I wouldn't risk it...it might close. I didn't start leaving my nostril out until I hit the two year mark. However, if you're gonna leave it out, do yourself a favor and buy a taper (are you at 18g?). It'll make your life much easier...the hole PROBABLY won't close, but it'll probably shrink, so shoving a nostril screw in there once it's shrunk won't feel good. A taper will help tremendously. If you need to wear the 14g in your tongue, you should be fine. If you want to really be safe, just buy a 12g taper to help you insert your jewelry again once you wake up.

They make little kits to fix phimosis without surgery. Manual stretching as others have mentioned is the cheapest method and maybe the easiest, I dont know, but I do know there are kits out there.

Have you ever seen anyone with gauged ears? Those piercings that make big holes in the ear lobe? You can use the very same thing to fix phimosis. So something like This. You put the largest one you couple comfortably take on your penis and over time it would grow things out so that you no longer had phimosis.

Now obviously this is going to take time. Unless you decide you want to cut things off no matter what you decide to do is going to take time. Not foreskin restoration levels of time, but worst case scenario a year.

Also keep in mind when you DO stretch things out successfully and can pull back without any issues your going to be a pretty sensitive person and it will take even longer to adjust to no longer having phimosis.

I did that with my inner conch because even though I had wanted a ring the stud grew on me and I ended up liking it better, but with my septum it's hard to stick with the basic horseshoe I had when I see things like this somewhere. (Well I do have a similar one, but not that one from amazon.)

Lol I do think stretched ears look good with septum piercings. I thought about piercing my lobes and doing that, but down the line I want to get my ears pointed a lot more and I generally don't like how that looks as a combination. It seems like one or the other is best. Plus I want to get a coin slot (if they're possible together) and that definitely doesn't look good together from what I've seen, imo.

TL/DR: IMO body piercings are trashy. It is just my personal preference.

• I prefer natural beauty over flashy gimmicks. For example: I much prefer Death Valley Nat'l Park or Monument Valley, Utah over the Las Vegas strip. Las Vegas is OK once (other than the shows.) • To be licensed to cut hair in my state you have to meet certain minimum standards. (H.S. or equivalent graduate, over 18, graduate from an accredited course, training in exposure to blood borne pathogens, pass a written exam, pass a practical exam, work in a licensed shop.) To perform piercings there are no requirements at all in my state.

I went with this set because I wanted to get the 16mm-24mm without having to buy them individually, so you get in total of 24 pieces which are 12 pairs of each size. You can get them from other sites that specializes in this product but the larger sizes can get really pricey so I kinda went the cheap route. But I notice that im going to need the sizes 26mm-46mm not all of them just a certain selection of sizes that would work better some the other BD sleeves. Unfortunately anthing with those sizes on Amazon are either stone or acrylic based, ebay seems to have good prices some of the larger sizes that go up to 50mm, less than $11.00 with shipping on a single pair.

Now as some people have mentioned that about it being a different type of silicone, are correct these plugs are porous unlike BD silicon which are non porous. There are a few methods of remedying this, one you could simply pertreat the plugs with powders, like baby, aftershower, or corn starch, to make them a little bit safer on your BD. Or you can try to make a recast of these plugs in a Platinum grade silicone, so they would be safe to use on DB products. Another method (i might look into) is make a plug from the BD sample pucks that will correspond with the proper size mm you want to use, with some sort of large hole puncher that will work on silicon.

If I remember correctly it's either this or this but it's been a while so Im not sure, but it should be one of those two. The set I got came with nice thick O rings, was delivered early, everything was nicely packaged, and they were all sorted out into labled baggies :)

I enjoyed it. I'm pretty much due for 1 mess up on each build. Sometimes it requires glue to fix. This one is glue free!!

I had the first piece (yes, #1) on upside down when I did 2 and 3. Fortunately, it was something I caught pretty quickly and was able to fix without further incident. I use gauge needles to form the cones so it went pretty well.

I don't know about any Great British places to shop but I do know that on Amazon I got a set of tapers in increasing size that I used that also came with plugs in corresponding sizes. Something like this is great because until you get to the size you want to be you probably won't be buying a whole lot of jewelry. The main thing is find out what size he starting at and go from there also tell him to read guides online and how to safely stretch and not go too quickly.

Amazon sells grills. You can either paint the words (food safe paint recommended) or engrave them with a small piece of sandpaper. My friend used the sandpaper method and it didn’t look as good as I’ve seen others do.

I got mine from amazon that had steel tunnels and tapers for around 25$ They go from about 16-0g. Its cheap and they work well. Do NOT get acrylic, stick with metals. Also make sure to go online and look at a stretching guide so you know how long in-between stretching as well as tips not to have a blowout. And for god sakes... PLEASE don't wear tapers as jewelry...

Yeah, acrylic is nasty stuff. If you like stainless steel, there are some good starter sets on Amazon for fairly inexpensive.

I used a kit similar to that one and it worked great for me. Stretching with acrylic isn't terrible, but stainless steal is a lot safer.
