I've been using this stuff from Amazon and been fairly happy with it but if I can pickup something locally at a Fastenal even better.

Just realized it looks like you can only buy it by the case on their website at least. I'll probably just stop into the store and see what they have, never thought of them for tape. Thanks for the suggestion.

If UV exposure is going to be an issue, Marine Goop is probably your best bet.

Otherwise, the original/all purpose Goop is actually a better formula (higher tensile strength), costs nearly half as much, and can be found in most big box stores.

You can do it two ways. The most secure way is to install a J channel onto the concrete so you can slide the mirror in. You will need a masonry drill bit and anchors. Easiest and cheapest way is to use a Mirror adhesive like liquid nails be sure to check the weight limits.

The heat is supposed to work perfectly,l the time period is to make sure the heat penetrates all the crevices. My wife and I didn't have that option, so we got a steamer for all the cushions and pillows, and used Cimexa dust to coat everything and fill all the nooks and crevices, and carpenters tape to help seal certain areas thouroughly.

The "folks who created the contraption" appear to be so smart they're out of business. Google search turns up very little, but I did find one seller on eBay that has ten of them. He wants $1,588 or best offer for them.

No wonder these guys geniused out of the market. Here's one that uses mild adhesive to do much the same thing. It sells for under $100 and you don't have to find a 220V European outlet to plug it in.

My vote is for local flooring stores. I think home depot was 25% off original price? They have an exact figure they apply to all remnants, but I can't recall. The local floor store used "round numbers." I got two segments of the same high end carpet that normally ran about $3.50/sq foot installed. One was 12 x 5.5 for $20. and one was 12 x 8 for $50. Those same pieces would have been over $400 at Home Depot.

ETA: They also have this special edge glue to seal them and keep them from unraveling. The local flooring guy told me about it. Here is an example. Note the special tip for going along the edge of the carpet. https://smile.amazon.com/Roberts-Carpet-Tools-Solvent-Universal/dp/B0017O0K2G/

Thank you. I am looking at this product, which is removal and residue-free. XFasten Double Sided Tape Carpet Tape, Removable, 2 Inches x 20 Yards (3-Pack), 2 Sided Floor Tape for Area Rugs and Carpets: https://www.amazon.com/XFasten-Double-Carpet-Removable-Carpets/dp/B07BB9G8SL

If you have any specific recommendations, I'd appreciate them.

I found this oil based Color Putty. I was hoping to find something that hardened, but I like the color-match capability of this set. Will this perhaps work?

https://www.amazon.com/Color-Putty-Company-09716-Colors/dp/B000KKRIPA

Then there is soft wax and marker:

And hard wax that requires heating
https://www.amazon.com/Wood-and-Laminate-Repair-Kit/dp/B00LPJYGA0

Lastly, I have water putty so should I just start with that, and blend it with my my Mohawk markers?

I already have a few colors that I have used for scratches. I have just never filled in a chunk.

Just strong spray-adhesive, like this.

I did some digging off of your original link and found this which might be just what I am looking for

MagicEzy Tile Repairezy - (White) - Fix and Color Tile Cracks and Chips in Seconds

That stuff worked well enough for me, might be worth a shot if you’re not happy with the results then you can still replace them

u/gpops62 · 2 pointsr/HomeImprovement

Thanks. I only used the polisher pre-poly. I didn't sand between coats and chose a satin finish because I didn't want it too glossy. No bubbles because I bought a quality t-bar and applicator and spread the coats thin. I'd go with glossy polyurethane and screen it with 220 before the final coat for a mirror-like finish.

Use removable carpet tape. Link

u/SippinCitrus · 2 pointsr/woodworking

Try some melamine glue.. Roo Glue.

u/ChinaMan28 · 2 pointsr/UAVmapping

Also FYI....

https://www.amazon.com/Home-Dynamix-10015-Vinyl-12-Inch/dp/B003CNKJO4

That is what I use for targets, I buy them in bulk...They have some weight and stay flat and can be disposable....

u/physicallyuncomfort · 2 pointsr/interiordecorating

I honestly don’t think the tiles are that bad; given the wooden floor and wooden surroundings.

So I attached the garolite to the build plate using this as it was all I had on me https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0141L81GS

This is what I used for the garolite. I scored it and broke it in half with a box cutter.

https://www.mcmaster.com/catalog/125/3783

Unfortunately (or fortunately), parts stick so well to it that it will peel part of the garolite off during removal. I'm using taulman bridge. This is unlike the aluminum build plates that came with my markforge, where it has a piece of garolite laminated to the top that doesn't peel. I guess you get what you pay for as one of those plates costs $150.

Oh well, it was worth a shot.
