30. Kitsch Spiral Hair Ties, Coil Hair Ties, Phone Cord Hair Ties, Hair Coils - 4 Pcs, Brunette
- THE BEST HAIR TIE FOR YOUR HAIR: The brunette 4 pack is perfect the perfect set of ponytail holders for any hair color! Kitsch hair coils are gentle on your hair. The smooth plastic, spiral construction helps to prevent tangling and consequently prevents hair breakage when you remove them.
- WATERPROOF AND HYGIENIC: The spiral design of telephone cord hair ties spreads the “pressure” of the hair elastic out over a greater surface area of your hair, which helps to minimize the dreaded ponytail bump that hair ties can create on styled hair. Hair headaches from too-tight ponytails are also a thing of the past! Traditional hair ties function by concentrating the tension in a single area of your hair, prevent damage and strand breakage by spreading out the tension
- CUTE IN YOUR HAIR, AND ON YOUR WRIST: Kitsch Hair Coils are an everyday essential and come in a variety of beautiful colors. Whether you are looking to match your hair color, or add a fun pop of color to your top knot, Kitsch has the coils for you. Perfect for blondes, brunettes, redheads and any color in between. Kitsch coils also look great on your wrist. The coils stretch to comfortably wear as a bracelet when not in use, so they are ready for ponytail or messy bun duty at any time.
- WATERPROOF AND HYGIENIC: Phone cord hair ties are non-absorbent, so they can be worn while swimming or bathing without that “nasty wet hair tie” feeling, and they can be removed from wet hair much more easily than a traditional ponytail holder. Also, because they do not absorb fluids, Kitsch hair coils are more hygienic than fabric wrapped rubberbands.
- SMALL BUT MIGHTY: Kitsch hair coils are 1.5 inches in diameter, but don’t be deceived by their size! Kitsch coils stretch easily and generously to hold up all of your hair in a ponytail, messy bun, or braid, and comfortably stretch to be worn on your wrist when not in use. If your coil happens to stretch larger than its original size, simply place it in a cup of warm water or use a hot blow dryer to shrink it to its original size.

The comments and opinions expressed on this page are written exclusively by redditors. For acne, I recommend:
a. Whole Foods 365 glycerin soap with vitamin E (that's one of the glycerin soaps they offer), $2/bar, as a pre-shave beard wash. Wash beard at the sink using your hands, then rinse partially with a splash and apply lather.
b. Rinse razor head in high-proof rubbing alcohol before and after each shave.
c. After the final rinse ending the shave, glide a dry alum block over your wet skin, then set block aside and clean up around the sink, put stuff away, etc., with the alum on your beard. After a minute or two, rinse the alum off, dry, and do your usual aftershave. This step is particularly helpful: alum is a mild antiseptic.
d. Use a fresh towel for every shave. You can buy thin, 100% cotton, lint-free towels called "barber towels" or "bar towels" for under $20/dozen. They're easy to launder and a fresh one for each shave helps a lot. Here's an example. A wet towel is a microbe incubator.
e. Buy a bunch of pillowcases from a hotel supply house and use a fresh pillowcase every night.
These are some basic tactics. I have a whole section on acne in my introductory guide to DE shaving---look at the reader reviews to decide whether it would be helpful for you.
Avoid shaving against the grain in areas in which you get ingrowns, though you can shave XTG in both directions for smoothness.
Look at this sub-$50 beginner kit for some ideas. A good start up:
Razor: either the Sodial razor ($2.30 including shipping) or one of the Maggard Razors ($16) or one of the Edwin Jagger DE8x series---the DE86bl (faux-ebony handle) is about $30; prices vary by handle, the heads are all the same. In general, quality increases as price increases, but the Sodial is a good razor and I continue using mine.
For a pre-shave soap, I recommend a high-glycerin soap: wash your beard at the sink, using your hands, rinse partially with a splash, and then apply lather. Here are some good ones: Musgo Real Glyce Lime Oil soap (MR GLO), $6.50/bar, or Whole Foods 365 brand glycerin soap, $2/bar, or Dr. Bronner's liquid or bar soap, or Clearly Natural glycerin soap.
Jlocke98 came up with the idea of adding 2 tsp of lanolin oil (liquid) to 1/4 c Dr. Bronner's liquid soap and using some of that as a pre-shave beard wash. It works quite well.
Try samples of shaving creams and shaving soaps: Garry's Sample Shop or Wet Shaving Sample Shop or All Lathered Up all offer samples of mainline products, and the artisanal soapmakers sell excellent products at modest prices.
Here are some brush possibilities, in ascending order by price:
The Ecotools Bamboo Finishing Kabuki brush, which makes a terrific shaving brush; you can pick it up for $7.50 in the cosmetics section of (e.g.) Walgreens.
In the $8-$14 range, any of the Omega boar brushes would do a good job, and those are available from many sources. I prefer the brushes without the dyed band---the plain white brushes---but both work well. Read this beginner's guide to boar brushes on proper use. These are soaked before each use: just wet well with hot water and leave it sitting while you shower. I really like the Pro 48 (10048); it's large, but I still find it comfortable for face lathering.
The Omega 11047 boar/badger brush, which you soak for boar content, but then acts like a badger---and makes a good travel brush as well as an everyday brush. $17 plus shipping, but you can buy something in addition for little or no extra shipping charge.
One of the HJM black synthetic brushes from ConnaughtShaving.com for $25, including shipping. (US residents do not pay VAT.) This is a supeb brush, as gentle as any silvertip and quite efficient at lather creation.
The Whipped Dog silvertip badger: $26 including shipping with your choice of resin handle. The 22mm size is the best all-round size.
For afterhave, try samples from Saint Charles Shave aftershaves and The Shave Den Shop: pick those that look interesting, then get a full bottle of the one(s) you like.
You didn't ask about blades, but that's probably because you think they make sense. They don't. Read this post for more info. Use the first brand that works for you for at least two months. By keeping the brand of blade constant, variation from shave to shave is (probably) due to prep and technique, so you can focus more on perfecting those by not changing the razor or brand of blade. Also, after two months, you'll really know what that brand of blade feels like so when you try a new brand the differences are highlighted.
Here are artisanal soapmakers whose products I've found to be good (by buying and using them):
• Al's Shaving
• Barrister & Mann
• Bathhouse Soap
• Em’s Shave Place
• Ginger’s Garden
• Green Mountain Soap
• The Holy Black
• Honeybee Soaps
• Kell’s Original
• Mama Bear (also at Amazon)
• Mike's Natural (lather requires more water than you expect)
• Mystic Water
• Nanny’s Silly Soap Company (in the UK)
• Prairie Creations
• QED
• Queen Charlotte Soaps
• Saint Charles Shave
• Scodioli
• The Shave Den
• The Strop Shoppe
\> with short hair is it really worth it?
Anything is worth a try, but whether it's worth it to keep it up is your call once you see how you like it.
\> Or would a gel be better?
Gel is certainly easier and cheaper, so we recommend it as a starting place. LOC is great too but having that many steps introduces more potential for troubleshooting problems.
\> Can I use tiny butterfly clips to curl my hair while my hair is wet and has styling products to help add more curl?
Yes! Or flat, metal root clips like these (just picked a random one off amazon to link).

You'll also want to experiment with adding protein or not, since your hair feels coarse. I'm not sure whether you'll need more or less (guessing more?) but that's another variable to play around with to improve the texture.
Good luck with everything! Hope that helps.
Edit: More!
by Julia Cameron is one of my favorite books on creative unblocking for both writers AND artists! I go back to it whenever Im in a slump!
I've always used U shaped bobby pins. The other kind almost always cause me trouble. They look like this. Rather than pinching the hair into place, it works more like a hair stick and uses gentle leverage to keep locks where they belong. Even before I started CGM, I found they disrupted my curl pattern less and reduce breakage or pulled hairs.
There are also screw pins which are a lot more gentle. They look like this. I haven't tried them yet, but they serve a similar purpose of using gentle leverage and friction to hold hair in place rather than gripping like regular bobby pins do.
Regardless of what you use to get your hair out of your face, there's still the matter of the hair being stretched. To minimize stress on my upper layers, I don't put my hair up the same way twice in a row. One day I'll wear a wide cloth headband. The next, I'll gently gather it into a clip. Another day, I'll wear a handmade wood or bone comb. Mine looks a little like this, but smaller. I also like the ones that are U shaped like the bobby pins. In fact, I like the 2 prong combs better than the pins. I buy a lot of handmade items like that made out of wood, bone, and leather such as the hair stick barrettes. The point is to change it up to keep the same hair from being stretched in the same way every day.
The worst thing I did was putting it up while it was still damp or wet. Even root clipping for extra body during my regular styling routine has given me trouble. I have to take the clips out before my hair dries completely at the roots because my hair shrinks as it dries and starts to pull. If the hair is bound while it is wet, it can dry stretched to it's maximum which can cause permanent damage, especially if done daily. Even if your hair is completely dry, make sure you're not puling it too tight.
So basically, play with your hair and allow yourself to have some variety. And wear it down as often as you can. I'll often throw it in a claw clip to buy groceries, but take it out as soon as I get in the car to go home. My new favorite way to get it out of my face is a wide cloth headband, though. Someone gave me a couple of what they call neck gators last year, and I've come to appreciate them a lot more since I started CG for getting hair out of my face.
I think /u/HopelessSemantic should be gifted. I know she's my wife, and I might be biased, but there are reasons for this.
She is an amazing and wonderful person. She's super kind and always makes me happy. Without her my life would be empty and devoid of any meaning. She lights up my entire life with happiness. Despite always being in pain she still finds the will to do the house things around the house. Like cooking and baking and cleaning. I don't know how she does it, and I count myself the luckiest guy in the world for just having known her. Pretty hair clip should cover the five dollar item.
Hi! I'm not the commenter but I also clip my roots and it honestly could be a game changer for you I think! I like double prong clips, like the devacurl ones. These are the ones I use, way cheaper than devacurl's- https://www.amazon.ca/Hairdressing-Wobe-Setting-Alligator-Hairpins/dp/B07C17DYNS/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=curl+clips&qid=1565656971&s=gateway&sr=8-3
And then for how to clip them, I tried of techniques from this video- https://youtu.be/LFLCD12RKbw
Good luck :)
/u/Abby89 As for most people here, you were one of the first to welcome me, and I appreciate it and you. You're a beautiful sunshine :)
I made it to work today on time, and packed a lunch today - which is a normal accomplishment, but I had all last week off and took a trip to Seattle this weekend, so I'm totally worn out and need a day of recovery. But nope! Got up, got ready, and here I am to make some money today! Yay!
To-do: 1. Be awesome 2. Follow rule #1
This is on my wishlist and I could use them. They are allllllways handy!
Delicious Duchovny
edit: spelling :(
Well first of all I hope you have a fantastic birthday!!! but for realz - these hair clips because my last one just broke this morning would be excellent. Especially if Patrick Kane is our hero!
Thanks for the contest :)
I'm a big proponent of plopping into a turban. When my hair was really long it was a huge help in the morning, plus it does nice things for the lift at the roots.
Do yourself a favor, though, and skip the cheap Walgreens ones. The Turbie Twist has a rougher microfiber that creates frizz and doesn't absorb much moisture. Not so curl-friendly.
Spring for the the Aquis. It's made of the nice, smooth, highly-absorbent type of microfiber. It's also very generously-sized- way deeper than the Turbie Twist. My method is to plop right into the top of the turban (just like you'd do with the tshirt), and wrap kind of loosely (without doing the button). Then, I take a regular cheap Turbie Twist and put that on top, more tightly to secure it. That stays on for about 20-30 minutes.
I've had some rough stuff happen recently and I am truly thankful for my crafting hobbies which keep me sane, and my husband that gives me time and support in my endeavors! I'm happy as a clam when I'm crafting a pair of earrings or sewing a new baby bib! xoxo I'm desperately in need of some new bobby pins and this tub is super cheap!
Short answer, yes, use an alum block. Long answer, here's a copy/paste from one of /u/Leisureguy's many posts; it answers your questions pretty well:
>For acne, I recommend:
>a. Use a high-glycerin soap such as Whole Foods 365 glycerin soap with vitamin E (that's one of several glycerin soaps they offer), $2/bar, as a pre-shave beard wash. Wash beard at the sink using your hands, then rinse partially with a splash and apply lather.

They're easy to launder and a fresh one for each shave helps a lot. Here's an example. You can also use surgical towels, like these. A wet towel is a microbe incubator.
>e. Buy a bunch of pillowcases from a hotel supply house and use a fresh pillowcase every night.
Awwdorable
For me it has to be the Monster Boxes just because they are so cute and look like a great place to put gifts.
Second favorite is this pretty pink polka dot hair band I love wearing these while cleaning, post shower, and while doing lawn work. Plus this one looks super soft.
Did she do her hair that day? Did you show her some of your pictures in a similar style ahead of time? Did you deliver on matching the style that they (probably) saw ahead of time? If you followed through on capturing the moment and processing the images in a way that's consistent with your normal work flow, then I'd say you're in the clear.
If she really wants a reshoot, offer another session at your normal rate. If she doesn't like that idea, you could offer a discount on another session as compensation since she's not happy with how she did her hair that day.
How did you bill her? If you gave her an invoice, make sure to write the full price and then deduct a discount (Friends & Family usually works well). This way, they know they're getting a discount. That doesn't quite apply here, but it's good advice for any future work of this nature.
Also, I'd recommend keeping hairspray, bobby pins, hair clips, and hair ties. It'll cost you about $20 up front for all of those things but you'll be able to save yourself hours and hours later in editing hair and your clients will be so much happier with you during the shoot. Also, I'd recommend keeping a mirror in your kit as well.
Yeah! Look for regular hair ties that don't have a metal closure on them, it should just be elastic. You can find them in grocery stores and drugstores with the other hair accessories. They don't have all the same benefits as the Knotties but it's the most masculine and best for your hair.
These are a great example.

I’m also UK based :) I got two of these actually to have one while the other is getting washed so highly recommend:
Stay on Satin Pocket Bonnet... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B077D7DW21?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They really are random colours lol, I got one hot pink one and one black one. Also super great cause they’re less than 5 quid!
I hope you don't feel sick as a dog for much longer!
Maybe these pretty flowers will cheer you up. :)
Thanks for the contest :)
Ever since I saw the pic of a bunch of hair ties that had to be removed from a cats stomach, I won’t let my cats play with them either. But they love the phone cord type hair ties, which don’t seem like a hazard to me (if anyone knows any different please let me know!) I don’t have this exact brand but it’s the first thing that came up for me in google. Mine are the same concept but j got them at michaels craft store for super cheap.
Kitsch Spiral Hair Ties, Coil Hair Ties, Phone Cord Hair Ties, Hair Coils - 4 Pcs, Brunette https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07288PNFT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_2dlZDbESSP2EC
If you put it in a ponytail while it’s wet, it will have a noticeable bump.
There are also superior types of hair ties. This is my favourite that doesn’t leave bumps. I have thick hair but if your is thinner, you might like something like these. Make sure your hair is dry first!
These are the ones I got from F21:
https://nl.fashiola.be/dames/accessoires/haaraccessoires/?q=hair+tie+set&qt=1
I think the ones I got from Target are Goodie brand. They are thicker and more tightly coiled like these (but cheaper and included black and brown):
https://www.amazon.com/Flexible-Plastic-Phone-Hairband-Clear/dp/B00DN42V5W
I wear the F21 ones on my wrist every day and they haven't stretched out over 6 months plus. They were under $5 for a bunch so my best advice is to find some like that. If you have really thin, slick hair, I can see these having to be coiled around hair more times to stay (possibly stretching them out), but I bet hair spray or dry shampoo on them would help the hold. They hold better in my hair than the traditional black stretchy ones and are more durable (but I haven't straightened my hair in over a year ago I can't say how well they'd do on straight or straightened hair).

Apparently the Aquis microfiber turban. i just looked on Amazon for something under $20 and with good reviews. I don't prefer my curls untwisted, so I kind of put them in loosely and then twist the towel only once halfway so I can button it. It holds my curls on top of my head without twisting them, and I love that I don't have to clip it or worry about balancing it. It was a great buy for me.
I love Swagbucks! I'm currently saving for that gift card :)
You need this gorgeous hair clip
aaaaand
I need this really pretty lip stain
OMG MI
I've never been to Michigan but I have moved a lot. Only take things that would be hard or expensive to replace. Like you can get a couch cheaper (if you don't mind used) than it would be to move it. Why not sell it before you move?
I tried to keep my item on the cheap side. My fiancé is currently unemployed and I know it sucks with little to no income. Good luck! :)
cheap cheap cheap !! sorry thats just a cute picture for your birthday!!
Here is something that is $0.55 with free shipping! :)
That was just an example! It doesn't happen to everyone so I hope I didn't scare you! At least you'll be aware of the cause if it does happen!
Youcan find them on Amazon and at your local beauty supply store! Satin is a cheaper alternative and works just as well!
The ones I have: scarf
Others: bonnet, pocket bonnet, silk lined cap
And there's a ton of videos on YouTube on how to tie them, I could send you a video if you need one! You can. There's a bunch of different techniques like pineappling, but you could also just tie it like a bandana and keep it simple!
Avoid washing for as long as you can. I wash about twice a week and use dry shampoo in between. I also love those spiral hair ties (like these: Invisibobble The Traceless Hair Ring - Clear - 3 Pack https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00F23MMF6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_lmbzDbXZ6M4TS) and I put my hair up a few times per day but can still wear it down.
As for cute styles to wear your hair up... Let me know when you find out 😂 I usually just wear it in a ponytail or bun. I can do a French braid but I'm not very good at it so I usually just wear it to sleep or maybe to work out.
I got this Aquis Microfiber hair towel. I have pretty thick hair that goes a little past my shoulders and this towel is the perfect size for it! And it's microfiber so it seriously cuts down on the frizz. It costs more than I normally spend on stuff like that, but it's definitely worth it.
I wish I knew what type of phone you had because I'd recommend this. If not you might like this. Hope you like them :D
Tangy Tangerine
If you do buns I highly suggest using either spin pins or bun pins to keep your hair up instead of a hair tie! creaseless hair ties work great to avoid breakage and I hear invisibobbles or "hair coils" work great too. (Somebody else also suggested these)
rubber bands for my hair

THANKS FOR THE CONTEST & HAPPY BIRTHDAY <3
Get professional-style bobby pins! They truly do make a difference; they're stronger and hold better. You can get them (like literally anything else) on Amazon!
I use a microfibre towel turban (something like this but much cheaper, I find them at the dollar store or big box stores). I keep it in my hair for 10-15 minutes, while I'm getting ready for the day. I find the microfibre really helps to absorb a lot of the water and it does dry my hair faster.
Yes! That is what I end up doing now is a bun usually in the back. I got these new hairties that don’t mark up or pull your hair the coiled ones. So far they’re great! no pull hair ties
Hello! We meet again.
These would truly be great!
EDIT: On the MariaJ list
Have you tried large hair sticks or large combs. My hair is super thick too and I pull it in a lose ponytail at my crown and then pin it in a bun because apparently I'm not the only person who worries about my hairline lol.
I've bought these and had good luck.
Always use conditioner. Conditioning shampoo isn't enough. Unless you really know what you're doing, blowdrying will only increase frizz.
When you towel-dry your hair, don't rub it back and forth on our head. Put it over your hands and kind of squeeze/pat the water out. If you really wanna go the extra mile, you can get a microfiber towel to make the job quicker, and slightly more gentle on your hair.
Consider using a medium weight leave-in conditioner when your hair's damp. This will help your hair kind of stick together/weigh it down a bit/moisturize it.
Of course, It looks like the price went up by a few dollars but still pretty affordable, I get mine today! Prime! here
I wear these that my hair stylist recommended: coil hair tie
She recommended them because the coil can hold your hair in a pony tail but unlike rubber band hair ties, it doesn’t pull your hair back (so it doesn’t trigger a migraine and bonus doesn’t rip your hair out/thin your hair line either).
Headband
This, please
Short hairs, no cares
Thank you for the opportunity.
[Awesome scaredy cat] (http://tmblr.co/ZquJNxmjLlFF) plus [this] (http://www.amazon.com/SODIAL-Magic-Hair-Sponge-Maker/dp/B00A73BVP8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=2178B1GL21EVM&coliid=I3ALTD2NO5XFU) nifty bun maker to keep my hair outta my face on vacation! Thanks for the contest!

Unrelated to the thread and you might have already seen these, but if not give these a try. My friend swears by them and used them the entire time she was trying to grow her hair for her wedding.

this is the cheapest
and
I want this! It is nowhere near 60 dollars, but if that allows you to gift someone else, then that would be rad.
I buy the medium-sized version of these jaw clips:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B001QX7NTQ/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?qid=1377048608&sr=1-2&pi=SL75
Then gather my hair at the nape as though I'm going to put it in a low ponytail, then twist it together, and twist it up into a pseudo-French twist. The curls then spill over the top of the clip in a very stylish, but neat, way!
[clip] (http://www.amazon.com/Beautiful-Jewelry-Flowers-Crystal-Clips/dp/B00ARWNVG6/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=30YFVWIMCXHWS&coliid=I1PAIUA002MKXV) Sick as a dog hope you feel better soon :)
I've got really soft hair too, and coil hair ties like this are awesome! I don't need to wrap them as tight, and they don't pull out my hair.
Sure :)

Turtles are awesome
I will use these to open up the treasure chest I will find on the desert island that was left by pirates. Mountains of treasure will be mine!
Oh, also as tooth picks. And to keep my hair out of my face.
That could work! I had the same issue with dents even if I used a scrunchie. Here is the link for what I use if you’re interested. It has a tie which you can put either in the back or the front depending on how you put it on. It works so well!!
Stay On Satin Pocket Bonnet https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077D7DW21?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf
Just started growing my hair out and got this recommendation in a women's jiujitsu forum: https://www.amazon.com/Goody-SlideProof-Elastics-Black-10-count/dp/B00D8XAVZK/ref=sr_1_39?keywords=hair+ties&qid=1572558484&sr=8-39
These particular hair ties work so much better than others. Almost never have to retie my hair during class like everyone else does.
this is only .51c and free shipping DOLLAR
Technically, a 15 cent gift card towards getting my boys a Wii U for Christmas would be the cheapest thing. The next cheapest is this pretty hair bun maker.
Ok, so yes, I too used to hate plopping with a seething passion. Then one day I tried plopping with a turban instead of a tshirt or towel, and it changed EVERYTHING.
I lay the turban flat, like you would do with a tshirt, and I plop my hair in the area where your scalp is intended to go. Then I twist the long, thinner part (which has no hair in it) and fold it back over my head and secure it with either the button or elastic (I have two different kinds). It takes 30 seconds and could stay on my head through a Zumba workout -- seriously, rock solid.
Also, I highly recommend these grippy hair ties for athletes! They totally do stay put all day/activity.
I keep my hair just long enough to have this problem. I use these headbands to keep the pieces that dont reach my ponytail from being a nuisance:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00E9SPR70/ref=pd_aw_fbt_194_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=2GDCND6YQMVZDEKJQ991
And because my hair is slippery, I like to use these to keep whatever reaches the ponytail in place:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00D8XAVZK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_s_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1505932498&sr=1-1&keywords=goody
How often you clarify is really up to you. I find that I need to do it about every 3 weeks (more/less depending on how often I've gone to the gym or other things that tend to get my scalp gross).
Root clipping is where you put little clips like these in your hair right up to the scalp. There's a few different ways to do it. I found this one to be the most helpful, but there's plenty of videos and tutorials.
It's okay. It's really nice to see a dude with long hair who doesn't leave it dirty and greasy, lol! Not a dig at you. I'm just so tired of seeing dudes like, grow out hair and then not fucking wash it. Why?
The sideburns are a little messy, but that's covered in other comments. The nape of your neck has a lot of baby hairs, but they're all in a really uniform length... Do you cut them that way? It could be breakage from the hair band, so you might want to switch to a hair stick or a comb like this or this to prevent that if your hair tends to break. If you cut it that way... stop it.
The frizz and flyaways could be from static or dryness. There's some non static combs. You can go high grade or low grade. For dryness, you can try a leave in conditioner, but I don't know what dudes put in their hair, so I don't have any real recommendations.
Bobby pins because these little things go missing all the time and are never found again ):
Thanks for the contest!
I really like the ones with the grippy material twisted around them. I have very thick hair, so I stretch them a bit before I put my hair up. Here is a link: https://www.amazon.com/Goody-SlideProof-Elastics-Black-10-count/dp/B00D8XAVZK/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1499287479&sr=8-1&keywords=grip%2Bhair%2Btie&th=1

Item
Hair clips, especially the rounded little clamps. I use these to keep all my wires neatly together. Clips picture
Long + thick hair here. I put my hair up in a pony with these hair ties. I have bangs and a lot of wispy flyaways as well so I use clips and a bit of hairspray to hold them in place. Finally I put on a dad hat and go about my day!
This one is nice and big and loose so it won't damage your hairdo/curly hair. I have a kitty ear headband too, which I adore, but isn't as good for curls.
these things . they also apparently pull out of your hair very easily. I've never used it because I have short curly hair, but my colleagues have and swear by them.
I have long hari that is fine, but I have a TON of it. I swear by a high pony with these - awesome grippy hairties Normal hair ties just slide out of my hair. Buns give me a headache, and braids turn into a whip.
Thanks for the contest $0.75
$1.62 is kinda half of Pi right? Amirite? Hair Clip or Bitten Berry comes real close at $3.00!
