This is the 6" wheels, I spent a couple extra bucks and went with the 8" wheels because I felt theyd ride better on the rough roads I gotta take to get to work.

My version was also a lot newer than the one has here ... My handlebars just screw in, they dont need screws to be attached. A lot of the things he whined about were fixed in mine.

Einem kleinen Kind erklären dass es nen grünen Roller kriegt ist manchmal recht schwer. Aber wirklich ,kann mir mal jemand erklären was den pinken Roller so teurer macht?

To be honest, it's a lot smaller than I remember it (the measurements are there, but I dunno I didn't pay attention- it was an impulse buy). I got this in black and it rides as smooth as I remember, but I wear size 10 shoes (my height is 5'10" or 177.8 cm) and my whole foot pretty much takes up the whole foot space, maybe with 1 inch or so left. Because of that, there's no space for my braking foot. I rest it on the whatever space is left. I also hunch over a little because of the height of the handles, so my lower back gets tired after awhile.

If you're going to buy one to ride around frequently/transport I'd get a made-for-adult scooter with bigger wheels and overall sturdier construction. If you're just gonna screw/ride around a bit and have money to burn, this $30 razor scooter will work. If it's for campus or something, this will work fine. Sorry, dunno why I typed so much.

It's less about training wheels - my son has been getting around with a plastic "pre-balance bike" but he's getting frustrated it doesn't go over cracks in the concrete well. Have been debating whether he gets a scooter or a balance bike so went to our LBS. Other mums tend to get the scooters as they're easier to use - then the kids don't go to bikes until they're about 5, when the kids ask for them.

I got a scooter for him. He chose it. Will get the balance bike in January - just need to convince my husband that the n+1 equation has no age limit...

I've had the envy colt for 9 months now, never snapped or cracked.
My friend had a vx8, had it for about a year, only just recently, the bars snapped.

Buying one of these just so I can go in on those handle slips.

I slammed my knee on the concrete driveway riding one of those razor scooters.
Could barely walk for a week.

Not sure what is wrong with this? Looks like it could be kind of fun. Like a big kick scooter. Seems like an early version of this.

La Hudora Big Wheel Air 205 et consorts, avec ou sans frein a disque; poids maximum 120kg, et elle a des vrais pneus.

Je l'utilise environ 2km aller-retour tous les jours et c'est la première trottinette qui tient le coup aussi longtemps - je l'ai depuis passé un an. Durant cette période j'ai dû remplacer les roulements, les pneus et une chambre à air mais ça revient malgré tout bien moins cher que de racheter une trott' tous les trois à six mois comme auparavant.

Là où j'habite en ce moment il n'y a presque que les morveux de trois ans qui roulent en trottinette, donc un peu tout le monde me regarde de travers quand je file avec - jusqu'à ce que je plie l'engin. Après, ils voient un mec habillé de cuir noir qui se charrie 5kg de métal dans une main et font moins les marioles :D
