Lot of questions here so I'll try to address them one by one, but let me know if I missed any.

> So I guess the question first is, besides the expensive Clairefontane papers and their derivatives, are there any US, inexpensive filler paper that I can use that won't feather, bleed or show through on the other side?

It's kind of a DIY way to do it but using 24 or 32lb HP LaserJet paper but printing out lines and hole punching it yourself. Great paper that won't bleed or anything like that unless you have a super thick pen (B+). I go through a lot of pages for notes, but I use notebooks, but I do not experience bleeding with really any of my pens even on pretty bad paper with Heart of Darkness.

> And then what kind of ink would be optimal to use? Any other kinds that I should look into?

Heart of Darkness would work wonderfully on the paper I recommended, as well as most bad papers. I use it on Dollar store bargain bin recycled notebook paper and it doesn't feather.

> I guess the obvious question is, is there chance for the pen to leak if its just sloshing around in the front pouch of my bag without a case / sleeve of any sort?

I would recommend something with a twist cap (I like a clear TWSBI Eco for this so I can see if there any loose ink), but in lieu of that I would just say store the pen nib side up and you should be fine. Brian Goulet did a 'flying with pens' video (which I can't seem to find right now) and I would argue that those conditions are worse than just walking around with pens, and his pens did not leak.

> And if so, what kind of case would I use? (ie: would a ziploc bag be the simplest way to go along with my business?)

I use this case to hold a few fountain pens, a 4 color bic (as a backup), a mechanical pencil, and and eraser.

> In my scenario would it instead be worth it to purchase the Metropolitan or some other Pilot pen?

You could get a Metropolitan, but its finest nib is 'fine', and the Lamy is available in an 'extra fine'. As you pointed out since Pilot is finer across the board these will be fairly close together. Some people are very turned off by the grip on Lamy's so it's very much personal preference.

>Lastly, is the transition to fountain pens really worth it or is it something that can truly wait until later when I'm dealing less with lots of writing and more on signing important documents?

I prefer writing with fountain pens, so I highly recommend finding a pen that you like and using it non-stop. My biggest endorsement for fountain pens is that they encourage me to write, whether it is for notes, studying, or writing my scripts by hand. In the past month I've written over 200 pages altogether and can honestly say I've enjoyed every second of it.

u/robeschi · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

I carry my pens in this inside my bag. Sometimes my pens go in my shirt pocket, I never put them in my pants pocket (some folks like to put them there, but that's a recipe for disaster.) I don't take particular care of my bag unless I put my laptop in there (which is pretty rare), so it gets thrown around a bit.

The ECO, and all my other pens, hold up perfectly. It's only my oldest pens that have any issues, and they're cheap and somewhat misused since I didn't know what I was doing when I first got the pens. I only rinse out the Eco with water when I change inks, and roughly once a semester I have been filling it with a Noodler's Eel ink to lubricate the piston so I don't have to disassemble it and lubricate it myself.

You sound like you treat your pens with care, I wouldn't worry about the Eco, it seems to be a very rugged pen. I don't take great care of my Eco, not like my expensive pens, anyway.

edit: I love the pen case I got, it can hold like 15 pens (and not much else if you pack it that full.) But normally it carries as many pens as I would ever want, plus cartridges, converters, ink vials, a small package of tissues/wipes. You can be set for a semester or two without having to change anything in there.

I have a few packs of wooden buttons that i use for lots of different crafts. But, i know that not everyone needs/likes wooden buttons, so i'm not going to link them. xD

But, these pencil cases make me feel super fancy when i use them. They're pretty useful for other things as well - one of my friends uses them for her make-up brushes and stuff like that.

Another of my favorite things i've purchased myself are these small zipper pouches. They fit sharpie sized pens/pencils rather well. I use them for my outdoor drawing kits when i teach my Nature Journaling class.

Last one. If you're into pokemon, there are some small sized plushies that are less than $5 ;)

u/Drive4 · 3 pointsr/vaporents

well unfortunately it doesn't come with a brush so you'll need that. but otherwise, you're good to go. maybe a case? i bought [this case] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01C6U3N6O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) which is just what i needed. carries the GH, doob tube pre filled with herb (which is also used as the filling device), two cleaning brushes, a microfiber cloth, condom sleeve, and x2 batteries

buy some glass if you're into that. the vapor can get pretty warm. love the vape though.

u/FoxxyRin · 1 pointr/electronic_cigarette

Go to a dollar store and look for a pencil case it will fit in! Just one of the small zippy kinds. One like this would be really awesome, too. You could put spare coils and such in the extra sections.

Another option I'd like to suggest is trying out the iSub Apex. If you have the original iSub or iSub G (which I'm assuming since you mentioned leaking, lol), you'll love the Apex for sure. It's next to impossible to make leak, no matter what you do.

u/WriterMonkey · 1 pointr/fountainpens

I use this for my every day carry. It’s a bit chunky, but currently has two pens, a syringe, a couple of cartridges and a sample pot with a ml of Diamine Oxblood in it. It’s not exactly a pretty item, but it’s good and it was cheap. It will protect my pens from drops and keys and being shoved in bags full of work detritus. One day I might replace it with something a little easier on the eye, but for now it’s more than satisfactory.

u/faultyspoon · 1 pointr/fountainpens

I'd recommend buying some cheap Chinese fountain pens for outside the house. Wing Sung 3008, Wing Sung 3003, Jinhao 51A, Jinhao x750. All of those are $5 and under.

You can have expensive pens at home, but buy a large case. Have a designated spot for this case, like say your desk, and it just doesn't leave that spot.

Topoomart Fountain Roller Ball Pen Case Holder PU Leather Bag for 12 Pens Beige https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XP22JKM/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_TSsDCbC7VYQBM

These are some bright colored cases that would be easier to find if misplaced. I've never lost a pen, but I keep the ones I have inked in a case when I'm not writing with them and my uniked pens are in a storage bin.

There's no reason why you can't own fountain pens if you enjoy the hobby. You just need to adjust your behavior/ system in order to properly care for them.

u/woven_noodles · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

I would love to recommend a Nock case, but I can't really afford one. I made do with this case. It's pretty nice and has room for quite a bit! In all I carry, a Nemosine Singularity, a Lamy Safari, a TWSBI Eco, a sharpie, a little 6inch ruler, flash drive, some sticky notes, and 2 cheap mechanical pencils. If you don't mind the slight bulge/pillowing from being packed, it will still zip.

u/jaceyy · 1 pointr/bulletjournal

I use several cases for my tools.. I work from home, so I don't especially need one for when I'm away from home, but in case I do, I purchased this one, and I absolutely love it:
Homecube Large Capacity

A few others I have include:

LIHIT
(I used this one before I upgraded to the large capacity one)

4 Layer HITOP for my fineliners and muji pens.

72 Slot Pencil Wrap for my watercolor pencil crayons.

I also have two regular pencil bags I got from Indigo (in Canada) to hold my pencil crayons and watercolor markers.

Overall, I really really recommend the large capacity Homecube case!

u/CuSetanta · 1 pointr/fountainpens

I work in IT and have a relatively active rotation of pens. I take a lot of notes daily, so its nice to have a few different writing options depending on my mood.

I carry them in this pen wrap, which sits inside of my messenger bag with other bits and pieces. My office also provides free Clairfontain paper, which is pretty sweet.

u/disc0ndown · 7 pointsr/bulletjournal

I stick my journal in my purse (I have a small one) and I just got this case for my pens and mildliners! It's been awesome. All of the little compartments have been super useful.

u/16wongmc1 · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

Check out this review from jetpens, as it helped me choose my own pen case: https://youtu.be/ls8rklb7kEs.

Personally, I use the LIHIT pen case (that's under $10 right now): https://www.amazon.com/LIHIT-Case-inches-Black-A7551-24/dp/B004WMWCYE. For the few months I've used it, it's has been durable, compact, nice to look at, multifunctioned and quite cheap! Good luck with any purchase you make 😀 {DISCLAIMER: N0T A PA1D BO7}

u/fullmoon280 · 10 pointsr/mechanicalpencils

I use the Lihit Lab Compact. Its a cheap case and small enough to fit in my jean pocket. I hold 3 pencils, 4 pens, 2 highlighters, spare lead, and a eraser in mine with some room to spare for some slimmer items like sticky notes or something while still being able to fit in my pocket.

One thing I love about it is the materials its made of. The clips on my pencils tend to be a bit on the strong side and with all the other cases i tried the clips snagged when pulling them out or putting them in. With this case I never really had that problem and can pull them out without issues and for most of my pens/pencils I can simply push it back in without having to lift the clip out.

u/emaz88 · 1 pointr/pencils

I saw your title and was going to comment and recommend Homecube before even reading the body of your post.

I have this Homecube and I think it's a great case for the price.

I use mine for fountain pens, too. I like the elastic to keep my nicer writing utensils in, and the zipper and Velcro pockets are really convenient for extra lead and erasers and ink refills.

u/mimafo · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

I just got this Lihit Lab case and like it. It holds a good amount of stuff, looks nice enough, and was really cheap... the cost was the driving factor for me. I am not totally sure what I want/need in a pen case yet, so I didn't want to commit to anything too expensive. This was $10 and does the job pretty darn well!

u/PenjaminButton · 0 pointsr/fountainpens

I have [this one] (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00IU9H6IW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_YbDYzbXY8JVHY>) and i really love it but you have to be ok with your pens touching. Quality of the material is really good though and they come in some solid colours!

u/TopMopy · 3 pointsr/mechanicalpencils

Same as what /u/kovard said, if you want, you can fit the pencils into a much smaller pouch like this one and save a good amount of space. Or just make rooms for more pencils and pens.
Still a complete preference thing though.

How's the Eco, does it feel smoother or scratchier than other pens?

u/aredcup · 1 pointr/mechanicalpencils

Oh, I also forgot. If you want something bulkier that can carry more than the rolls I linked you below, I have a friend or two that use this case:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004WMWCYE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER

I like it a lot. It can hold a pretty good amount of stuff (enough for field drafting for me and other Geologists' - i.e. 5 drafting pens, 24 pack colored pencils, erasers, drafting pencils, small ruler / protractor, etc.). I do have this one that I use when I need to pack heavy for field notes, but 90% of the time I don't have to. Hence, the smaller less-bulky rolls I linked you below that I am trying to pick up.

Hope one of my suggestions work for you, let me know what you think!

u/guac_amore · 20 pointsr/fountainpens

Not OP but it looks really similar to the case I use (Amazon Smile link) and I love it.

u/BridgeBum · 1 pointr/pens

>Derwent pocket pencil wrap

Do you have a link? I see this one on Amazon, but no reference to a pocket. It would be nice to have something pocket sized to help protect pens.

Oh you're running down a slippery slope! I don't know if I would go with separate cartridges, but what you can do is grab these sample vials from Goulet and syphon some ink into them to carry around. I use this case to carry around my pens and samples, along with other things, but I also use this and this based on what I'm doing that day. Sometimes I'll stick with just this because I don't need much. To make filling things easier, I use a blunt tipped syringe. My hands stay clean that way.

u/Pwnagebeasts · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

If you are still looking, I have this one right here that i use for school: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01BD0GPKO/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Its a great case that i throw in my backpack with all my pens lol. I have 3 fountain pens on one side, and 2 mechanical pencils plus 2 erasers on the other. Heres a link to what mine looks like: https://imgur.com/oYv6BbU

EDIT: Sorry i posted this before seeing that you were looking for something with separate spaces for pens.

u/tubasco · 1 pointr/GrassHopperVape

Thanks!

u/Ecnot · 4 pointsr/bulletjournal

I haven't actually received it yet, but I've just bought the Lihit Lab Book pen case. Should store all my essentials and give me an easy overview :)

u/Anwhaz · 2 pointsr/lifehacks

Do people's backpacks really not have a pencil holder? Even my climbing bag has a place where you could at least sort of organize pens and pencils, and when I'm in a tree writing to me is about as useful as a DVD rewinder.

I don't know, I guess I don't understand pencil cases. If you don't have a backpack and want something slim then there's stuff like this and if you're going to carry a lot then there are bigger ones. I guess I just like to have a place for things, more than just "here's a sack full of stuff I use".

u/allthemoxie · 2 pointsr/ManyBaggers

Thank you! The pouch is from Lihit Lab, their Compact Pen Case. You can find it on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BD0GPKE). I have a few different pouches / cases from Lihit Lab, great quality for a reasonable price.

u/BeneDiagnoscitur · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

For a student I'd recommend the Nock Brasstown 100%. https://www.gouletpens.com/nock-co-pen-case-brasstown-raven-aqua/p/NC-NZ60BAq
If that's too steep then this one is pretty nice and it fits a graphing calculator or a pocket notebook too: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WMWCYE/ref=twister_B01FVTMSDG?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

u/TheLifelessOne · 1 pointr/EDC

Neat, haven't seen that one before. I have this one and it can hold a ton of stuff. Definitely would recommend if you want something a little larger.

u/89314 · 10 pointsr/fountainpens

If you are ok with not having individual pen slots, Lihit Lab makes inexpensive but decent pen cases. I have both.

The lihit lab compact pen case hold 8 of my fountain pens (i have too many edc pens!) I got it on jetpens for $15 but i think Amazon sells it slightly cheaper.

Edit: added link to Amazon. Only $12.43 :)

u/Channel_42 · 8 pointsr/fountainpens

Nice, I bought the Notebook for my upcoming trip to Canada (Journaling and such).

The case is the Lihit Lab Smart Fit. It fits 3-4 pens on each side, though I only keep my fountain pens on the padded side and use the other side (with the net) for storing a mechanical pencil, a text-marker and a ruler.

It's a nice case for everyday-use and it's also water resistant I think.

u/DaveFalcon73 · 1 pointr/fountainpens

In terms of carry case this is what I bought. Similarly Amazon US also do the same case.

If you're talking more desk storage case then these will run you into hundreds but you can get some nice cheaper ones like this one.

u/AdjectivePronoun · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

Is that case this?. It has really good reviews. How are you liking it so far?

Edit: removed the search-engine portion of the amazon link

u/julietcharliesierra · 3 pointsr/mechanicalpencils

Seems like loads of people use this one- you can check out the pocket configuration in the photos. Main thing is, it's not too bulky & still has good storage and protection. I like it https://www.amazon.com/LIHIT-LAB-Case-Black-A7551-24/dp/B004WMWCYE

u/FullMetalAliChemist · 2 pointsr/weddingplanning

I love this idea!!

I just went on Amazon and found this cute set of four pouches $9 for my bridesmaids.

My wedding planner told me she has a MAJOR wedding emergency kit so I'm covered.

u/TheDarkTrumpet · 1 pointr/fountainpens

The cloth it's on isn't actually a pouch, and is more just a piece of fabric I sewed together. The reason why I use fabric to put the pens on is that the bands on pens can become scratched over time. I really try to limit and avoid that scratching, so if the pens aren't in their case, they're on this cloth. I carry it with me everywhere, and when I'm doing a lot of writing, I'll lay it out over the table I'm at. My plan is to sew a new one within a month or so, the idea being is I want more padding and correctly sized for the pens I carry (this one is a bit bigger, intended for Bento box when I created it).

If you're looking for a good pen roll/pouch, I really like the Pilot rolls. You can find one here:

https://www.amazon.com/Pilot-Pensemble-Pocket-Cowhide-Brown/dp/B005K7H7KE

I have two of them, one in black, and one in cowhide. That's what these pens sit in when I travel (unless the pens came with their own pouch, and 3 of the pens here do). I also carry a traveling inkwell in my pouch as well.

u/howboutme · 3 pointsr/learnart

Something like this (link) is good. Steer clear of bags. This style (link) is borderline passable but I wouldn't put any loose pencils in the bag side. Just be careful not to drop or jostle them too much as it will most likely break the leads in the wood.

u/Clockwork_87 · 2 pointsr/mechanicalpencils

I sure do! I love this case also. But if I keep buying all of these pencils I’m going to have to buy some more, or a bigger one.

I’m currently student teaching and a senior in college, so I definitely carry a pencil case!
This is the case I have— white one x. The big pouch’s zipper pull came off, so I replaced it with a grey paperclip. Good as new!
And in the big pouch, I keep— 1 yellow highlighter, 1 correction fluid pen, 1 pad of sticky notes, 1 dry erase marker, and a few paper clips.
In the small pouch, I keep— 1 black pen, 1 colored felt-tip pen, 1 black felt-tipped pen, and 1 mechanical pencil. :)

u/RedShirtDecoy · 1 pointr/fountainpens

I just had this come in today from Amazon and its great. Might be a little bigger than what you want but overall its not that large. In the front left I have 4 Pilot G-2s and 4 Pilot V5s and in the front right I have 6 different Fountain Pens. I cant say much for durability since it just came in today but it feels like a quality product.

Great experience so far! Lots of space to hold pens!

u/BigSerene · 1 pointr/EDC

I'm a professor, so I'm always carrying more than I can fit in my pockets (laptop, notepads, sometimes piles of student papers, etc.). I have a messenger bag that's very simple with not much organization. The main compartment is divided into two parts, one of which has a couple of loops for pens and a small pocket. There's a open pocket on the back of the bag for things that you might want to access quickly. And there are small pouches on the sides of the bag for sunglasses or other small things.

My laptop goes in the part of the main compartment without pen loops. A couple of notepads go in the other part of the main compartment, along with a small case which fits in the small pocket and holds earbuds and a USB drive. Student papers go in that compartment when I need to carry them. My sunglasses go in one of the side pouches (the one I can easily reach while wearing the bag), and a pocket knife goes in the other side pouch (or in my pocket if I'm expecting to use it a lot). The back pocket holds a carrying case with several pens, a small power bank and cables, and a small multi-tool. I also have a small flashlight that can fit in various places depending on how accessible I want it to be, but usually is stored in the carrying case. (I like this carrying case specifically because it lies flatter than most others I've seen, so it's not uncomfortable against my back while in the back pocket of my messenger bag.)

u/PuppiesGoMeow · 3 pointsr/stationery

I love the Lihit Lab Smartfit that I have. It fits my six pens/pencils along with a stapler, scissors, lead, eraser, and calculator. It's also not too bulky so that's a plus!

Gotcha, Thanks a lot. I have this case at the moment but am thinking of getting one like you have with individual pen loops.

You can fit everything you need in this. I fit the hopper, bud container, abv container, a brush, 2 extra batteries, the silicone tip, and a paperclip. It will fit in your pocket too.

Ah, okay. I built my ‘going to a party’ weed kit last week and bought these little guys for carrying a lot of strains of weed in a small bag. They’re waterproof and smell proof and very tiny, but they hold a good amount of ground weed for their size (well over a gram). A couple of those might be an option for you.

You can carry them on your keychain, or attach them to belt loops, throw them in your bag or pocket.

I bought this heavy duty pencil case to use as my weed kit and it actually fits a lot.

Here are pics of my weed kit

That's the one I got a few months ago and uses a pencil case. But I absolutely love it, and it would probably work for your needs too.

u/inmedias_res · 1 pointr/EDC

Might be a bit too big, but I really like this case by Lihit Lab

u/jblosser99 · 0 pointsr/Darts

There are numerous pencil cases on Amazon that would fit the bill; here's a soft-sided one I bought back in August or September. I don't use it ATM, but it easily holds 6 assembled darts and as long as you don't sit on it the flights wont get smashed.

I'm still using an hold semi-hard sided hard drive case from 30~ years ago: what I use.

u/invisiblebob8616 · 4 pointsr/fountainpens

It looks exactly like this case that I have from Amazon. The elastic strips at the top and bottom are a single piece each, just stitched to the backing between pens, so it won't keep them from bumping if you're really thrashing it but it keeps them apart under normal circumstances. The only trouble I've had with it is that my Noodler's Neponset is a touch too big and has stretched the elastic beyond where it will go back to normal, so I have just dedicated that spot to that pen.

Edit: clarified one spot

u/cw4444 · 3 pointsr/bulletjournal

I got it yesterday from Amazon and it was cheap! I have a giant Kipling case that's impossibly impractical to carry around. This is like a Tardis: bigger in the inside!

The ribbon was learned from The Revision Guide. And of course I now banner everything!

u/AnimageCGF · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

Jealous!

I have a lihit labs case : https://www.amazon.com/LIHIT-LAB-Case-Black-A7551-24/dp/B004WMWCYE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1492808329&sr=8-1&keywords=lihit+labs

I love this, and carry everything I've ever needed for class/work.

Currently: 9 Fountain pens, 9 Mechanical pencils, 3 Tubes of replacement erasers, 3 sizes of leads, a Boxy and Eknock, replacement eknocks, 5 inch clear graph ruler, eraser shield, usb drive, back up apple earbuds, 3 highlighters, sharpie.

Looooveeee it. I need to downsize heavily lol. I just hate that ink isn't portable and have to keep some at office and some at home.

u/flatcurve · 1 pointr/Showerthoughts

They're small enough that you could put them next to some pens in your bag and they wouldn't even notice. But I don't even bother. I keep my battery and like four or five different carts in a little zip up case and just toss that into my bag. The only time I haven't is when I go through OKC. But I've never been hassled otherwise.

u/TheRealAirslide · 3 pointsr/ipad

Here is a hard case I use. Rigid and seems to protect the Pencil well.

u/kryptikguy · 7 pointsr/fountainpens

If you just want something that holds a lot of pens, you can get a 48 pen case like this one.

https://www.amazon.com/Fountain-Roller-Holder-Leather-Color/dp/B06XPBDLVS

u/annalisa27 · 1 pointr/OrganizationPorn

I think the one that OP has would be slim enough - I’m think it’s this one.

The problem with the double and triple section ones is that they really are bulky, so those work best with backpacks.

u/Pewtarizard · 2 pointsr/fountainpens

I've been using the Lihitlab Slim Pen case. It's a good case, but now I have a couple of vintage and FC pens I find I want something with individual pen pockets.

u/Angieflibble · 1 pointr/fountainpens

I bought [one of these](Mudder EVA Hard Shell Stylus Pen Pencil Case Holder for Executive Fountain Pen and Stylus Touch Pen https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01C6U3N6O/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_Kxkqyb912NV1M) and I love it. The depth of the case means that the pens opposite don't touch each other. There isn't a gap between them but the case is about 2.5 noodler ahabs wide and if you clip the pens in they don't move.

u/dimych · 3 pointsr/fountainpens

Are you looking for a drawer organizer? If so, cigar foam trays is the shiznit!

I have no idea if this one is any good, but I just ordered it yesterday and should receive it next week some time. Might be worth looking at!

u/bornonjupiter · 2 pointsr/bulletjournal

I really like this one - Lihit Lab Pen Case. Tombow brush pens will fit in the back pocket. If you want something bigger, there's the Kipling 100 Pens Case, but I don't really like that one because the slots in the front only hold really thin pens (like Gelly Roll sized).

u/eperdu · 2 pointsr/mechanicalpencils

I carry my pens and pencils to work everyday. I have a nice zipped pouch that holds them and it fits in my bag. I do have a locked drawer at work too but I prefer keeping the writing utensils with me.

u/storpio · 1 pointr/EDC

Nope, just a generic hard case I bought on Amazon:
https://www.amazon.it/dp/B01EJBWN6Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LYuQybKDYCZQ7

u/nickstricks · 1 pointr/sysadmin

I'll give you a run down on how I carry all of my stoof:

I carry a Leatherman wave, bit extension, and 1 of the bit trays in this. The cases clip is really sturdy, so it stays on, but since it slides on and off, I only pick it up off of my desk when I think I'll need it (which has been really often as of late).

I carry the driver for the iFixit kit, usb OTG cable, 128gb flash drive, micro SD usb reader, short micro usb cable, a spudger (I do almost all of the mobile repairs in house), the bits/extender from this kit interchanged with some of the iFixit bits, and two zebra f-701s in this.

That, plus a standard 1/4" bit extender sit in my front left pocket with this kits nifty little thumbwheel.

Then I just have a decent pen light clipped in my back pocket with my wallet.

Yes, I'm an EDC whore.

Whatever makeup you choose to wear, one thing I can say is DON’T wear your high end makeup. It’s so dark, guys can’t tell the difference, and no pictures will even be taken. You want to limit your overhead cost as much as possible. I have a separate makeup kit that I bring to work that’s full of strictly drugstore products. I carry them in here so that when I’m getting ready, my products and brushes don’t have to come into contact with the communal area.

I second the Lihit Lab idea. I have a Bag-in-Bag (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004WMW7MQ/) that I uses to carry the book I'm reading and some extra stationaries, but I imagine you can stuff scissors and stuffs into the main component and carry it around, although it doesn't have elastic bands to hold anything in place.

Also, maybe try this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BD0GPKE/

If I wear a shirt with a pocket, I usually have two pens in it. I also usually have an aluminum Kaweco Al-Sport in my pants pocket.

In addition, if I'm at work or otherwise not going to be somehow athletic, I carry a cheap 12-pen case like this one.

This does the trick for me if you're planning on carrying around more than one pen or pencil. I try to carry them nib side up and sometimes horizontal. I find that unless you're slamming the bag down or dropping it you shouldn't have any ink seeping out into the cap. Condensation is normal.

Lihit Lab $8.45.

iDream365 Hard Case $7.96.

I use and like both of the cases above, but you could also consider using a hard eyeglass case and you might already have one or more of these around the house. The downside is these might not fit larger pens and they don't protect against scratches if you put two or more pens in them.

As mentioned already, some vape cases could work, or you could look at cigar cases.

There's lots of possibilities.

u/bidgee17 · 3 pointsr/pencils
