I have Bluetooth headphones (Soundpeats q30, great value for $) with just the cord that connects them two behind the neck. There’s a little bit of give to it so I wrap twice around my ponytail and secure with a tiny hair clip. Not having the control’s heavy bounce on just the one side is much better.

Actually anything but those. I'm a big fan of my cheap ones off of Amazon. They're called Soundpeats and they're just as good as the really expensive ones. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074THH5Q2?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

I use these bluetooth earbuds and am happy with them.

(I think Dave and I have the same bluetooth headphones and they are pretty rad. I got them on sale for $20.)

IMO i don't agree. I was suckered into buying airpods a while ago and I actually end up using these $30 wireless earphones waaaay more just because they sound so much better, have a longer battery life (and can be used with a cheap charging case) and are much more comfortable.

I really like these: https://www.amazon.com/SoundPEATS-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B074THH5Q2/

They are fairly inexpensive (<$25), and I've been pretty successful leaving my phone in my gym bag on the side of the court and shooting around with them. I keep the wire behind my head, and have never really had any problems with it (it's actually kind of nice that they are connected).

OG Pixel here, but I use an older model of these. Bought them for music and it turns out they work great for phone calls as well.

Happy with these. They work pretty well to cancel out sound on construction sites.

I got some Bluetooth headphones from Amazon a couple of months ago. They sound really good and the battery life is nice. At first, I thought the little module where the controls are we’re going to be in the way, but surprisingly I don’t even notice them while running. They haven’t caused me discomfort and that’s usually an issue for me.

I linked them but I’m on mobile so sorry if it looks funky.

I use cheapos (here)

They have a bunch of different tips and wings and all that for different ear sizes.

Some company called Sound Peats. They're aren't studio quality, and bass is a little lacking, but I'm often surprised at how good they sound for the money.

u/CGnex · 2 pointsr/GooglePixel

I purchased these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074THH5Q2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_RIzEAb2E53HNV

The earbuds worked great while they lasted. I ended up breaking them about a month later; was going to reorder but the Jaybird X3 sport were on sale at the time and decided to spend the extra money for higher quality earbuds. The only thing I do miss is the magnetic connection.

u/DJHeroMasta · 2 pointsr/oculus

If it's still under warranty they'll send you replacements. Mine just went out as well. The Oculus Earphones are $49.99 and replacement headphones are $39.99.

Bluetooth Earphones on Amazon.

I use Soundpeats and they're awesome, especially for the price point (~$30)! I've had two different models and I've never had an issue with them falling out during lifting!

u/Reddittoomuch · 2 pointsr/GalaxyNote9

Iris may have been slower but it is useful when you cant pickup the phone (i.e. like cooking). If you had your phone on a stand next to your desk, it's much easier.

As for bluetooth headphones, I just want 12+ hours of bluetooth time. The battery life is getting better but it's like they artificially restrict the gains they can make.

I am not a fan of the buds or pods style. I like having a cable that connects the ear pieces like these:

SoundPEATS Magnetic Earbuds Bluetooth Headphones https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074THH5Q2/

BUT I like having the headphone Jack cuz sometimes when traveling I forget to charge my bluetooth. And its annoying to have to charge another day each day already. Nothing wrong with options.

As for the Fingerpront sensor, I got used to it. I like being able to unlock it easily when picking it up.

I can't speak for any of the brands you mentioned, but I highly recommend taking a look at SoundPEATS. Affordable, and have been pretty damn awesome so far. I just recently bought a 2nd pair because I liked them so much. Great sound, great fit.

You should try out some new stuff, they have improved a lot. The separate sides like the airpods are still new and buggy but you can get stuff like this which are pretty good

u/thenerdal · 1 pointr/gadgets

Soundpeats are pretty great.

Anything wired with the same sound, build quality and inline controls is going to be around the same price.

99% of the time Best Buy will have the same price as Amazon, and might even price match. The only downside is they might not stock as many. If you're looking for cheap wireless earbuds let me save you some time: https://www.amazon.com/SoundPEATS-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B074THH5Q2/

I've had some that are 3x the cost and these still last longer.

u/Vlad_the_Homeowner · 1 pointr/homeautomation

Woah, $150 for what is essentially these, these or these? When will people figure out that adding a shiny coating to something, calling it premium and jacking up the price is not innovative.

  • TicWatch E with Nike+ Style band (inexpensive but effective smartwatch)
  • SoundPEATS Bluetooth Headphones (held up incredibly well over a year and a half)
  • Uni-ball Jetstream (Black and Blue) (Smooth writing)
  • Amazon Front Pocket Wallet (Slim and durable)
  • Victorinox Compact with RokForm lanyard (2 layer SAK with scissors, perfect EDC for me)

I've always used affordable off brand one off Amazon. I've tried Anker, Tao Tronics, and SoundPEATS. Tao Tronics batteries died within a year. Anker has some quality models, as well as Aukey. The SoundPEATS have been my favorites. Sound quality is above average. Battery life is about 8 hrs. The magnetic clasp is now required for me. So convenient to keep around the neck.

A model of Jaybirds we're on sale for $50 on Black Friday at Best Buy. Maybe just buy a cheeper pair until a deal comes around.

Here is a link to the SoundPEATS: SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Headphones Sport In-Ear IPX 6 Sweatproof Earphones with Mic (Super sound quality Bluetooth 4.1, aptx, 8 Hours Play Time, Secure Fit Design) (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074THH5Q2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_QiTTAbXWE207W

Hope that helps! I stressed over all the options and high cost of some brand. Ultimately, I found models like these work just fine for me. Cheep enough that I don't feel bad if they get lost or stop working.

Try soundpeats on Amazon. They are decent and cheap. Good warranty service.

I currently use these which I got on sale for 20 bucks, I think. Battery is pretty solid. They usually last me at least 4-5h. Battery status shows up in the android quick settings, sound is decent. At full volume the high end is a bit sharp so I turned that down a bit in Spotify EQ, but other than that they sound really nice. Not too bass heavy (which is often an issue with cheaper headphones). Also a good fit and they came with a nice little pouch for the headphones and a small charging cable. I can honestly recommend them.

Soundpeats from amazon! I’ve had them for over a year and a half, and they still work great. Amazing deal for under $30. I use them almost every day. Currently have them around my neck. Each earbud has a magnet behind it, so they attach and form a necklace. Totally comes in handy if you don’t want to keep them in a gym bag and then forget them. They cancel out most noise, too, so it’s cool for blocking-out bothersome chatter and noises from other gym-goers.

u/MessiEsque · 1 pointr/headphones

Budget - Under $50

Source - Android phone

Requirements for Isolation - Do you need a lot, some, or none Maybe some? I'll be using these for working out at the gym, so blockage of whatever is playing in the gym would be great.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? Yes!

Preferred Type of Headphone - IEM.

Preferred tonal balance - Probably balanced/ no preference.
Past headphones - iPhone default headbuds (Especially the ones they started making with iPhone 5 or w/e); I tend to go through headphones at a very quick rate as I just destroy the cable, and they tend to offer the most longevity.

I'm buying from outside of the US, so not everything ships my way.

I'm currently looking at both the [SoundPEATS Magnetic Wireless Earbuds] (https://www.amazon.com/SoundPEATS-Bluetooth-Headphones-Sweatproof-Earphones/dp/B074THH5Q2/ref=zg_bs_9059092011_1?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=9EMF5Y3JW95J99QAERHH) and the [Otium Wireless Sports Earphones w/ Mic IPX7] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B018APC50Y/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=AG626CFCJIK88&psc=1) but I'm open to other suggestions!
