As you can tell, I collect Star Wars figures mostly. And most other things I collect aren't as good. But here they are in living color:
[NECA Ultimate Jungle Hunter Predator] (http://necaonline.com/2016/12/predator-7-scale-action-figure-ultimate-jungle-hunter/) One of the few NECA figures I'm happy with. Having owned the Ultimate City Hunter Predator, the AVP Scar Predator, and the Alien Isolation Big Chap figure, I was fully prepared for this one to come damaged in box or shortly after taking him out, but thankfully I've had nothing but luck so far. Its a great sculpt, but of course I'm weary that it will look this good forever.
[Black Series Prototype Boba Fett] (https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Black-Prototype-Figure/dp/B00MYL77BI) One of my rare finds in the wild. I found this bad boy at a local comic book shop and I just had to have him. The owner even gave me a nice discount and I've been a loyal shopper there ever since. Amazing figure and the white really lends itself to the mold.
[Black Series Darth Revan] (https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Black-Darth-Revan/dp/B01AWFKM7S) One of my favorite characters from one of my favorite games. A great sculpt and a beautiful figure.
[S.H. Figuarts Kylo Ren] (https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Awakens-Figuarts-Action/dp/B014VTPQ0E) This one is modified with a [Black Series Soft Goods Swap.] (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7F2o9wdQBo) Absolutely fantastic balance and articulation. Truly a favorite of mine.
[Bandai Model Kit Death Trooper] (https://www.amazon.com/BANDAI-ROGUE-Scale-TROOPER-Plastic/dp/B01LZ06HST) - One of the best looking model kits I have. Absolutely amazing value and its far better than its Black Series equivalent and, in my honest opinion, even better than the S.H. Figuarts version.
---
The equipment used was my new Samsung 8+ Phone Camera and a set of run of the mill candles for some soft lighting. Any light effects on the figures aside from the candles ware just random images reflecting from my computer monitor.
So, as someone who is relatively new to DMing (started just over a year ago), here's what I'd suggest to make sure you keep your cost down, while still having figures you can slowly replace over time:
---
Starting off, you can get a lot of generic "green-army-men" style fantasy figures for relatively cheap.
They're not very expensive and what they lack in quality they make up for with quantity.
---
The next best solution I have for cheap decent figures is for animals. I've been able to find tubes or tubs of a decent selection of cheap, pre-painted figures at just about every Walgreen's or CVS Pharmacy I've been to. I use these guys for animal encounters, pet companions, and they're especially helpful for my druid.
If you can't find them at your local drugstore IRL, there's plenty of selections you can find online.
---
Now, players understand you can't afford unique figures for every encounter. However, I've noticed that the figures you have stand in for whatever they're fighting can sometimes be distracting, or if you have multiple identical figures it can be confusing knowing which one they're targeting in a battle. A great, cheap solution I've found to this is just using multi-colored generic pawn pieces like from the game "Sorry!". The pieces themselves are so nondescript (other than color) that the players have an easier time projecting the combatant you describe onto them, and the various colors make it easier to track what's going on in a battle, both for the players and DM.
If you can't just salvage an old Sorry game you find lying around you can find packs of the pieces or other generic multi-colored pawns online for very cheap.
---
This last suggestion isn't really about where to find cheap figures, but more to address the reason you said you wanted figures in the first place, to "help the immersion".
You may have heard of the website HeroForge before and it's a great tool for D&D players. It allows you to make very customizable figures for your games. Now, the cost of their cheapest figures are still over $30 for a single figure, so definitely not cheap. However, as a DM, I still regularly use it. I use HeroForge to help design notable NPC's or enemies for my campaign, then save the screenshot of them and post the image in our group chat when the character gets introduced. This is very helpful for a lot of reasons: I get a more solid idea of characters that I was designing in my head, it gives the players a visual and helps with the immersion, and when I DO decide to actually order a character (like, for example, a villain or NPC I know will be reoccurring for many sessions) it becomes a MUCH bigger deal and way more intense.
I also always recommend that PC's at the very least design their figures on HeroForge for the same reasons.
---
I hope these were helpful. I'm still in the process of building my figure collection as well and love to share cool tips or resources I have found while doing so.

Dear Goddesses, where to start.
I have watched Anime as young as 5 years old but I had no idea where the cartoons came from.
I assumed that they where either from the United States (under a different style) or Mexican (specially Dragon Ball Z which has become such a part of our culture that people would actually vote for Goku on the past elections.)
So, my Godfather was actually who corrected me and told me that it came from the Magical land of Japan and that the kind of drawings I was doing where 'Manga'.
Thus began my magical quest to become a Manga-ka
and under my standards I am so fair flailing. Not only did I want to admire the whole Anime culture, but my dad used to work for Sony, so I had certain books on Japanese Manufacturing clauses, rules and culture; Japanese culture in general and history; Japanese geography. This just made my interest pike more and forget learning Russian (this is a long story actually) and decide to learn Japanese on my own. I was 11 when I took the decision and so far I have not only learned the language (somewhat, my kanji is horrible and while my pronunciation is ok I have problems making coherent sentences at times), but I know how to bow properly, making and differences the different types of dishes - soba, udon, teriyaki, tamagoyaki, etc - all in a certain hope of not just fangasming on Japanese stuff, but immerse myself fully.
I do not think I can stop being a Gaijin ever, nor that I will reach the level of respect as many of the real Japanese Manga-ka but Japan will always have a place in my heart as the land that brought to me so many things in life.
Now, as what I want I. . .actually want all that candy (+ A + It's so pretty and delicious) but items are pike my interest (I saw a limit of ¥1,000-¥2,000, da?) but knowing America will not bring it here, I am interested in this and a cheaper option this since I collect these things.
Why is Lizardon so cheap and Myuutsu so expensive damn it ;_ ;A few fun things about me: I am fluent in pig Latin (more than most people are in their native language, I was a weird little kid), I am genetically rarer than one in a million, I love owls (and animals in general).
One of the best things on my wish list under $15 are the Geisha tabi socks https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYS43C3/?coliid=I3567L0DITIO3&colid=10VX3P8H8D1T6&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Another great thing under $15 (I couldn’t choose just one) is the Rainbow Bright Funko POP, because that was my childhood! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079TFXWKH/?coliid=I317EG6HWYWQ6X&colid=PFHUVUGPRE7U&psc=0&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
Welcome back and thanks for a fun contest!
Hi there, to answer your question, they can be posed. The glue isn't really required, it just helps some pieces stay on or together in the case of the Shadow Fox's face (the teeth on my girlfriend's came out at the slightest bump until I cemented it). No real issues on any others, but I would suggest it just in case you get a defect.
Now I do I have a few suggestions on which one would be a good starter zoid so that you're not too overwhelmed like I was. Personally I felt that the Liger Zero, Shadow Fox, and Gunsniper were really enjoyable to put together. The only issues with the lot are Shadow Fox's teeth and the Gunsniper has these hoses that are a pain to fiddle with.
Although, if you want a real challenge, I suggest the Gojulas (this one is gonna end up costing you upwards of $300 nowadays, but I assure you it is marvelous when fully assembled), Berserk Fuhrer, or the Geno Breaker (this one has an issue with a piece on the neck that looks a bit like a vent, it is really fragile if handled improperly).
Hopefully I was of help, and good luck in your purchases!
EDIT: Credit goes to JSK23 for these recommendations, originally from here
I, for one, know how you feel (I'm a big fan of the series as well). For the moment, it seems that either the 6" Marvel Legends Amazing Spider-man 2 Film figure or the renowned 6" Macfarlane Superposable Spider-Man figure could fit that desired USM look.
Aside from design differences (considering contrasts between film and comic style), the two differ in price and availability as well (the former is ~$20 and currently sold in stores while the latter is sold online for ~$100+).
On the other hand, if you don't mind waiting then you just might like the line of Spider-man figures Hasbro plans to release for 2015--particularly the one original-costume Spider-man figure that seems to look quite like the Spider-man of the USM comics.
While there are other various Spider-man figures (such as the ones of the Classics lines), at the moment these are (seemingly) the best Spider-man figures to fit that USM look with great articulation (I could be wrong, excuse me if I am).
edit: Just in case you haven't noticed, The Marvel Legends ASM2 Figure also contains one of several pieces needed to build a green goblin USM figure. If you happen to end up picking up the ASM Figure, you'd have one piece you can use toward building an USM villain for Spidey to fight! Pretty cool addition to the figure itself so I just thought I'd let you know.
Oh, probably Play Arts Kai, yeah (those are the better ones from what I've heard), but there may be others. I saw some relatively inexpensive ($20 or so, depending on the character) boxed figures, but they got horrible reviews for being cheaply made and falling apart.
If he doesn't want Ray, then maybe he might like Metal Gear Zeke? Compared to Rex, Ray and Sahelanthropus, Zeke is a bit basic, but if he liked Peacewalker, he might think it's cool.
I suppose I could just list off a few things I, as a Metal Gear fan, would personally like, and you can look through them and see if anything would fit his interests.

The prices probably vary between Amazon and so forth, but the Yamaguchi figures seem to be decent quality, more variety and less expensive than the Play Arts figures.
I bought the Marvel Select Hulk from Thor: Ragnarok for $33 on Amazon. It’s 7inches, sturdy, the mold was well done as far as I can tell. I’m a new collector, but I’m happy with the purchase. And as the other guy said, articulation ain’t great.
Diamond Select Toys Marvel Select: Thor Ragnarok Gladiator Hulk Action Figure https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073GWP3YR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_PXMUAb2SACS7G
It’s $39.50 from this guy, but there are other sellers.
Order your friend one of these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JC66OIA/
It may look common but hear me out. This model is of a suit that was only ever on screen in a film for about 5 seconds. This is from the 1995 film wherein the old Godzilla dies and his son becomes the new King of the Monsters. The film fades out as it zooms through a fog looking at the suit. The suit itself was never utilized in any following Godzilla film and marked the final shot of the Heisei era of films. This is the first time the suit itself has been presented to the public completely. In my mind, it's a great collector's item for a big fan, especially if the fan in question loves the 84-95 films the most.
I have not used any of these projects so if I were you I would check Amazon reviews. But at his age I would want something like these.

Another thing he will need is desk lamps and (if he is working with Lego) a Lego baseplate or two. It might be worth it to let him continue using the iPad but purchasing something like this to connect it to a tripod of some sort. I'm assuming he is using an app on the iPad and this would allow him to keep using what he is comfortable with just with better results.
TLDR the kits are cool but using the iPad may be the better option as he is already used to it. I would focus on lights, tripods, and maybe a lego baseplate.
In 2015 Revan won a Hasbro fan poll along with Sabine Wren, as characters to be added to the toy line. The figures were eventually shipped in Fall 2016. However, the line of toys that Revan belonged to wasn't ordered by the big retailers like Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us. The reason was the figures in this box weren't tied to the movies.
It took a a while before there were scattered reports of people finding Revan in JC Penny's, Kohl's, or Best Buy.
If you want it, I just checked Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Black-Darth-Revan/dp/B01AWFKM7S
$18.99. Wow. There was a time online scalpers charged $70 for Revan.
The figma Solid Snake was my first and is still my favorite figure. Comes with an M16 and a Beretta M9 pistol. The M16 comes with a parts effect that looks like its being fired.
The figma Gurlukovich Soldier is something on my wish list. I like it because it looks like a stock soldier and looks well with the solid snake figure but still could fit in with a makeshift army.
Im a huge Metal Gear Solid fan so thats just my own bias.
Hello everyone! Okay just want to say this is my first post on reddit and I am also a complete noob at buying anime figures so any help is greatly appreciated. I ordered a model of Trunks(DBZ) from Amazon from the seller Japan Ninoma, here it is https://www.amazon.co.uk/Banpresto-Dragon-Scultures-Figure-Future/dp/B00NR8LU8S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1479764771&sr=8-1&keywords=banpresto+Trunks , as a Christmas present. My question is do you guys have experience with this seller? Does it look legit? I found their actual website, https://www.ninoma.com/ , are they a respectable seller I can use for future purchases? Thanks
Hi. [I love action figures and comic books] (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ECV5TW2/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_Yy6htb1VRJD2B) I'm 28 and haven't grown out of my love of these things. Hopefully I never will!
i really like the marvel select hulk
http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Select-Incredible-Action-Figure/dp/B000ZLZ1NU
his size makes him bigger than all the other 6inch figures, the detail and articulation is pretty good too.
There are these bucket of figures that are great, and super cheap for how many you get.
Monsters
Skeletons
Zombies
Knights
Dragons
And so on. Super cheap. Tons of figures, less than $20 for each set.
Dat's true. Although I honestly don't like playing platformers on handheld much.
It's also currently a bit more than I'm willing to spend on a collection, especially when I still need to get MM11 and both X Collections. I did see this amazing figure when looking for it, though. Even as someone who hasn't touched the X series, that thing looks incredible.
Squishy narwhal!
The narwhal set I desperately want but can never have, as I'm pretty sure they won't send it to Australia.
The narwhalicorn!
You know you want them all.
SCS Direct sells bundles like "100 Zombies", "100 Monsters", etc for fairly cheap. The scale isn't always perfect and you get what you pay for... but if you want bulk, they're an option: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KBHVSTY/
You can also look into things like cupcake toppers. Some party supply places will sell tiny plastic figures for themed kids parties... soldiers, knights, etc.
Not too bad actually. It's my birthday on Monday so I decided these were cheap enough to tack onto what I wanted to treat myself to.
Rick was the cheaper of the two. He came with another arm, a rifle for that arm, and a knife (with sadly no knife holster, wtf). I had to go with the pose in my pic after I realized what he could do with Snake lol
Daryl was a little more expensive, probably due to his popularity. He came with a knife (and holster), the poncho, the crossbow, and 4 bolts. One bolt comes "loaded" and the other three fit on the underside of the crossbow.
You may find cheaper on eBay or something, not sure. I have Prime so I do pretty much all my shopping on Amazon.
I mean, I'm totally a bad example but... just go for it. If it's something you really like to the point you'll shell money on it, get the fucking best. This is freaking Amazon and it's on Prime - https://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Tamashii-Nations-Gurren-Lagann/dp/B009HMK1LU You can probably find it cheaper on Mandarake, but it'll probably be the same price with shipping.
I mostly collect imports, tho - feel free to shoot me questions :)
If you want a Big Daddy figure, I'd recommend to the moon and back the Big Daddy Funko Pop. It doesn't even look like a funko pop, it's super solid and heavy, and it costs way less.
I found Safari Toob animal toys for on Amazon were a pretty good size for D&D. And for druid wildshapes that I didn’t have toys for, I just made counters for, using Google-fu.
Yeah, link. Their Daryl and Rick 10" figures look good as well. I think this might be a new process they have of using 3d scanners and printers for these models and it's phenomenal.
I have this strange compulsion to share this weird thing with everyone. Take a look at this Narwhalicorn in all it's glory!
Won't entertain you for long, but it's all I got. lol
Do you collect Marvel figures too? I've bought a few recently, namely the Marvel Select Thor Ragnarok Gladiator Hulk and Gladiator Thor.
Link:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073GWP3YR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I also ordered the following two a few hours ago.

found it here
And yeah the AOT figures are amongst some of the more expensive figures I own. I love them.
I have a few proper minis that my friend bought for me, that we use for PCs and major NPCs. I think she found a few on ebay and at flea markets, but generally they are your standardly priced minis.
However, for enemies, I mostly use these toy soldiers. They are handy because they are cheap, color coded and have a good variety of weapons.
I also picked up these animal toys, but that's mainly because with a druid and a nature caller summoner in the party, they come in handy. That company does have some fantasy style stuff though, too, that I have contemplated picking up.
Probably the least legitimate, but cheapest thing I have for minis, is that my friend who works at Home Depot picked up some vinyl floor tiles, cut them up and glued pictures to them to represent, huge, gargantuan and colossal creatures.
Came from this post
and it seems like someone else reported getting a Chase also so must just be a random chance! Cool.
Yo! Just wanted to drop you this info because I LOVED it when I found it.

Bag O Zombies!

You get 100 of them. You can find them in glow in the dark form as well.

This is also neat looking, but I haven't gotten them.

EDIT
Those look baller too.
Have you seen the Designer Series Megaman X though? This figure is GORGEOUS <3
The funko pops i think look good i think look REALLY good
the glaring issue is every one i really like is a different mold than their standard one they use for everything
Oh god, now I want the Charizard too...
But in all honesty, $60 is a bit steep. That's about the same price as the D-Arts Charizard figure.
Well there's a Bandai Tamashii Gurren Lagann figure if you didn't already know. It's not a kit, but hey, it's Bandai quality haha
I'm not advertising anything in particularly, but I got this Minecraft stopmotion set for my nephew last X-mas, and he seemed to enjoy it for a while.
TBH, I'd still prefer legit action figures that really look like the character.
Feels like these are all aiming towards the female fanbase.
Love me that Trunks one tho
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NR8LU8S/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2UGABXAWLL4O3&colid=3DZJZ0SY1KLT0
Not to be that guy but
Also, check over on r/funkoswap. Sure you could score it for about the same price, possibly more like 20 including shipping
Cool custom. Here are the pieces if anyone is interested: http://www.amazon.com/Marvel-Amazing-Spider-Man-Legends-Infinite/dp/B00ECV5TW2
I got this monstrosity. So happy.
If you're really into Hulk and don't mind have another, I recommend the Marvel Select version of Ragnarok Hulk
He's supposed to retail for $25-30 but now that he's sold out through Diamond, he's selling in the $40-50 range
Yep. Looks like a Beserk Fuhrer
Finally ordered That Optimus prime from amazon
Its real and official
Stay safe solider its coming
Transformers Series Voyager Hero https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07JHSMMKX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_NuhACbXFMVQWA
Usually a quick google is all you need to identify a figure. If you have the toy line and the character name it shouldn't be too difficult. In this case it's 'Marvel Select Incredible Hulk'.
A pretty good figure, but in no way rare.
You can buy it on amazon for less than $25.
Thank you,
Amazon has one at 82 + shipping
http://www.amazon.com/TruForce-Collectibles-Designer-Megaman-Action/dp/B00WXLQBEI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1453829487&sr=8-1&keywords=truforce+mega+man+x
Thanks!

No problem! It's a lot less derpy faced than the '94 SHMA and it's far more articulated. If it helps at all, Amazon has it on pre-order for $57 right now. At that price point, I almost want one myself! Here's the [Amazon listing] (http://www.amazon.com/Bandai-Tamashii-MonsterArts-Godzilla-GodzillavsDestroyah/dp/B00JC66OIA/ref=sr_1_3?s=toys-and-games&ie=UTF8&qid=1406246340&sr=1-3&keywords=s.h+monsterarts) for your shopping convenience. :)
My name is Kristin. My last name starts with an O. I wanted some privacy and I needed a handle to go by -years ago. So I made it phonetic. And sometimes I live up to my phonetic last name. I'll have "Ohhhhhh" moments. But I think we all sometimes just don't quite get something at first. haha.
also Narwhalicorn
This is a good one:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007XP6K40/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_GJI9tb0RFXV4S
Right here
Pair that up with the Drill Set of Manliness (if willing) and you are good to go.
Looks great! I did something similar, but by repainting one of these wild animal tubes.
This is your figure. It is probably the least rare and least expensive of the Marvel Select Hulks.
[I'd like this if I win pleasee](Funko Pop! Animation: Rick and Morty - Mr. Meeseeks Vinyl Figure (Styles May Vary) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MY7PEIP/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_koYMBbSWPY37V)
Thanks! I want more of the Siege line, but also this Optimus:
https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Studio-Voyager-Bumblebee-Optimus/dp/B07JHSMMKX/ref=sr_1_2?crid=UL9TUMC9R0YE&keywords=optimus+prime+transformer&qid=1559185204&s=gateway&sprefix=optimus+%2Caps%2C180&sr=8-2
And this Megatron:
https://www.amazon.com/WEIJIANG-Transformer-Megatron-Mcgaden-Pistol/dp/B07QYDDSTM/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=megatron+gun+toy&qid=1559185257&s=gateway&sr=8-1
Interestingly enough, it doesn’t.
They are from Bandai's dead D-Arts line. You might be able to find the new 4-inch X figure by Sentinel for cheaper, but he is quite a bit smaller. If you're into non-canon designs Truforce X is probably the nicest Megaman figure there is; and he's fairly cheap for a mostly metal figure with an LED buster
Sentinel 4-inch-nel
TruForce
Agreed. My son is YouTube obsessed. He played Minecraft 360 with a "youtuber" this weekend and was freaking out.
I am a bit concerned about privacy (and I just don't have the time to research it munch) otherwise I would get him an account set up for uploads. He has been making Minecraft/Lego stop motion videos recently, which would be perfect to try it out.
I don't think Super Mechagodzilla will be super pricey for a while. I know it's not Heisei, but 2004 Gigan is usually 100 and that's amazing for an enemy.
As for Heisei Godzillas there's 5 of them.
The 89 one with the lights and such.
94 which is older and pricey.
Then you have the most common SH MonsterArts that is seen everywhere. It's called 1995 Birth Version, and it's supposed to be Godzilla JR at the very end of Destroyah after Burning Godzilla dies. Here is the link
Then after that you have the two Burning Godzillas. One is the normal and one is the Ultimate version. I have the Ultimate version, which has more red and additional Smokey effects you can attatch to it's body.
Why do they have a May 12th street date? You can buy these directly from the manufacturer since mid-March and from Amazon since then as well.
Why even have a specific release date for these toys? The Bumblebee movie came out a year ago and the DVD/Bluray was released last month.
> Give me that Revan statue please, I fucking need that in my life more then oxygen.
You mean this one?
I got a few buckets of plastic toys off amazon that are cheap, are the right sized for a 1 inch grid and can cover a lot of ground.
Monsters:
https://www.amazon.com/Monster-Action-Figure-Bucket-Frankenstein/dp/B00W5WSN5A/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1469651031&sr=8-6&keywords=dnd+mini
Knights, solders, guards
https://www.amazon.com/Toysmith-36-Piece-Guardian-Knights-Action/dp/B000YA7FS6/ref=pd_bxgy_21_img_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=JMBZKP2E432YT1YA7WX4
Zombies, skeletons

Are the Big Bucket of Zombies figures too tall? I've never used them, but see them recommended from time to time.
Amazon sells them!
Mewtwo
Blastoise
Charizard
Venusaur
Not sure but it's on Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Studio-Voyager-Bumblebee-Optimus/dp/B07JHSMMKX
The only good Hulk figures I can think of Diamond Select's Hulk. Problem is the sculpt is kinda wonky with each of them - there's been three so far. Definitely do not recommend their newest one, it's fugly as hell.
This is probably their best one: http://www.amazon.com/Diamond-Select-Marvel-Incredible-Action/dp/B000ZLZ1NU
found it on amazon here (I think): https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AWFKM7S/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2KXTSPWW1RY4C&coliid=I1TDPHFS7HV7N8
Amazon has packs of 100 skeletons and 100 zombies for about $18.
https://www.amazon.com/Zombie-Action-Figures-Halloween-Decorations/dp/B00KBHVSTY/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1482590315&sr=8-8&keywords=100+skeletons
It's always on Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AWFKM7S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_0zWcBbRQSXR2F
Not sure about Batman... But godzilla is the S.H. Monsterarts Heisei Godzilla.
You can preorder on amazon:
Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla 1995 (Birth Ver) "GodzillavsDestroyah" Action Figure https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JC66OIA/ref=cm_sw_r_udp_awd_gt47tb0NN921Z

Cheaper minis
Monsters
Skeleton Warriors
Zombies

Also on Amazon
http://www.amazon.com/TruForce-Collectibles-Designer-Megaman-Action/dp/B00WXLQBEI
Edit: Google Trueforce Mega Man X. You might be able to find something cheaper. I think he might be getting a restock soon, but don't quote me on that.
http://www.amazon.com/TruForce-Collectibles-Designer-Megaman-Action/dp/B00WXLQBEI
Not that rare.
Also Studio Series Bumblebee Prime, https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Studio-Voyager-Bumblebee-Optimus/dp/B07JHSMMKX
If you're looking for affordable, I've got a few suggestions.
This is what the custom figure was made from.
https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Black-Darth-Revan/dp/B01AWFKM7S
https://www.amazon.com/Zombie-Action-Figures-Bucket-Zombies/dp/B00KBHVSTY/
do you think this figure would be on quality? It is prime eligable meaning we would know we would get it very soon.
http://www.amazon.com/Banpresto-Dragon-Scultures-Figure-Future/dp/B00NR8LU8S
They've made it already.
Maybe a pop vinyl figure of Big Daddy would work? I couldn't find anything else on Google except a Neca action figure that was over a 100$. Here's a link to the Vinyl Figure
Funko POP Games: Bioshock - Big Daddy 6" Action Figure https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012OWVSC0/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_iGkwybV8B0QQY
tfw X is getting a Designer series alt skin
Also, if your willing to put up the cash for it, you could buy him one of these figures:
Mewtwo, Charizard, Blastoise
there ya go
Go go go. Up again

I'll just leave this here.
not OP but it's a Black Series from Hasbro.
You can buy him from amazon or ebay but you're gonna pay a "late tax"
Go dirt cheap.
Skeletons
Zombies
Monsters
Then just do some reaper bones or wizkids for "feature characters" and upgrade as you go along. Unfortunately good minis are almost always expensive. Finding an E-Bay score is always an option.
I was in a similar boat last December. I went with SH Figuarts Godzilla 1995 Version. No regrets so far, but I haven't gotten around to taking it out of the box yet.
Looks like your only option is the pop figure. https://www.amazon.com/Funko-POP-Games-Bioshock-Action/dp/B012OWVSC0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482204873&sr=8-1&keywords=big+daddy+figure
There was a clay statue that came with the first game but most of them broke and mint ones go for a lot.
Star Wars The Black Series Darth Revan https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01AWFKM7S/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_kq6JybD8WKGFM
I've seen "army men" variants pitched in the past but haven't tried it yet.
