There’s an off brand that shoots a buttload of rubber in the paint. You can get it on amazon. Just have to shake it really good because the oil will sit underneath the rubber and won’t let the paint stick.

You could try to get some touch up paint and do it that way, or talk to a dealer or even just an autobody place. I just looked up white engine paint. I think you can get away with normal spray paint but I just wanted to be sure.

Only real way is to respray them, cleaners/restorers will only mask the issue in my experiance. I would personally take off both rear trims with trim removal tools then spray with something like https://www.amazon.co.uk/Autotek-AT00BTB500-500ml-Bumper-Spray/dp/B004ZJILY4 if you only do one it will look weird compared to the other, then you'll look at all the rest and end up doing them all... ask me how I know ;)

well, you could probably do a wrap on it, or use some of that plasti-dip stuff.

You can also try silver wheel paint, it has a very similar finish to the paint that Yamaha uses. Slightly lighter in shade but the flake is just about the same. Take the cap off before you paint it, then you won't have to worry about masking the tank and you won't get paint in the fasteners.

I used this.

I put pink plastidip on all of my tools and store them in a Pelican Air with my name on it. I use a padlock for the case lid and a bike lock for the case itself. A lot of times the lock is open, but just the hassle is enough of a deterrent.
