You forget there on and do a great job. Don't know if they'll hold up from a large fall but they're great for spills.

I love the bell helmets (I think I got this one). I almost went with triple 8 before but noticed that not all of their helmets are certified to actually do anything on impact. Some of them are of course, but I just went with the bigger brand name for safety.

You just need to buy a new 1/8" chain (a z410 np is good and cheap) and then shorten it to the appropriate length.

Does anyone know if a helmet like this is good? Weighs just about as much as a TSG Pass and says it's for biking.

I was thinking about getting one of these. I saw it mentioned somewhere as a cheap way into the realm of full faces. And I have some experience doing some good old fashioned shop vac vacuum forming, so I could probably make face shields for it.

And it would be dual purpose for me since I also do downhill mountain biking on occasion.

Like half the capacity of that one should be plenty for casual riding. You could go bigger and have longer between charges but the drawback is it costs more and adds weight to the bike (which will make it handle worse, be harder to carry around etc)

U-brake is a different kind of brake this doesn't have mounts for.

But from experience those kind of brakes are hard to setup and have the least power of all the different kinds of rim brakes. It could work out though
