We just had a litter of 6 about 2 months ago, and I only caught her feeding twice.

They feed late at night/early in the morning usually.

The absolutely best way to help the babies is keep mom healthy and happy. She knows what's best for the buns.

Keeping the box clean is important, but it doesn't have to be done daily. During the time our 6 were in the box, we cleaned it out a few times and made a new litter box for them once.

Make sure the doe has all the hay she can eat. Alfalfa is good to give her right now. And PLENTY of water. We had to start refilling our large bottle twice a day.

Something that will help the buns socially is for you to talk to them from the get go. Let them know humans are normal parts of the environment and that we're not something to be feared.

Some people like to pick them up and handle them from birth. We waited about a week before we started to take them out of their nest to have human time.

A fleece hat makes a great baby bun carrier and it keeps them warm. We'd let the little guys sleep on our chests for 15-30 minutes at a time. We tried not to go longer than that because we didn't want to upset their mom.

If you have any questions, just ask. I'm not an expert, but I've spent hours and hours and hours reading up on rabbits and reproduction so we could give our guys the best chance possible.

You can get these lab coats that are made with knots that substitute for buttons. The knots have a spherical shape; they hold your lab coat very securely, but can be pulled apart in less than a second with deliberate effort. Faster than pulling off a t-shirt, say, and also you can do so with one functional hand if your other became amputated/incapacitated/mangled during the loss-of-control event!

Flame resistance might've helped too. About half of the people in my school use the Bulwark flame-resistant lab coats, and the other half uses other brands. I chose not to use the flame-resistant lab coats because I don't work with fire very often; I find being able to take off my lab coat quickly far more useful as a safety feature.

Also, you can get lab coats that combine both features! Grad students in Bigger, Better Funded University next door wear their chemistry department's custom-made flame-resistant lab coats possessing thicker material and metal buttons that you click together instead of fumble with.

Lab coats are pretty amazing, especially the way they billow out behind you when you walk fast with your lab coat unbuttoned. Useful for getting undergrads to yield right-of-way or asserting your dominance over your coworkers by swishing into their personal space. Also some grad students like putting the name of their owner followed by the word "lab" or "group" on their lab coats. I guess it's to help them find their way back if they ever got lost, pretty nifty.

OCBDs are great. heafty fabric that drapes nicely over the body. i recommend land's end sail rigger oxfords. classic blue and white OCBDs are great. please note land's end's oxfords have a very full fit. also, uniqlo has a wide variety of 3xl casual button downs (no OCBDs right now) that look nice.


tshirts! thicker the better. hanes beefy ts are good on a budget. darker colors are better, namely black and navy. mostly stay away from lighter colors (white is fine) as it highlights curves which is bad.

jeans: levi 501s are the best jeans I have ever worn (that come in my size). modern, but not skinny fit, comes in raw if you're looking for that. good quality for a $50 pair of jeans. i recommend Rigid STF. some people soak them in the tub, i don't. if you plan on doing that, order 1 size up in the waist and 2 sizes in the inseam.

chinos: dickies has great chinos for cheap. good colors would be khaki, navy, and grey.

pants: a few options here. land's end year round wool pants are good but higher priced if you're going to replace them quickly. costco supposedly has great gabardine wool pants but I have never handled them (only 40 bux too).

Yes. They are decent guns made for novice/intermediate players.
Personally, if I were going to buy a G&G I would just as quickly go for a JG because

A) you may get lucky and get a blue high torque JG motor in the gun. These are arguably the best high torque motors on the market.(Most of the new guns you buy come with them! Just make sure the one you are buying says "high torque" or "400 FPS model" or whatever. Those will usually come with the high torque motor.

B) You could possibly save a little bit on buying the JG instad of the G&G(They are both fairly equally priced.)

The difference you may find is that the JG will use a high quality polymer for the top and bottom part of the gun. Many people like this because it helps decrease the weight a little bit.

The G&G's can be found with metal upper and lower receivers. These usually run closer to $200 though from what I've seen.

Basically, both things are used in real life (polymer receivers on AR's, Metal receivers on AR's) so it comes down to personal preference and budget for YOU. (you could always get a gun with polymer receivers out of the gate and then later spend 30 bucks for replacement receivers to make your gun complete metal upper and lower body.)

EDIT: As for the pants, yes...those will work. If I were you I would look into "Emerson built in kneepad pants"(i am not sure the actual name but googling that should help narrow down where to find them).

They are high quality pants you can get in a couple different colors (i have them in multicam which I use).

Basically, very comfortable kneepads are built into the knee that can be removed and put back on if you would like. These are not very noticeable at all when playing, do not have to be held on with straps that go around the back of your leg and may become uncomfortable, and your knees are completely protected when kneeling and whatnot (this is extremely important as you will be on your knees a LOT and eventually you can start feeling pain and in general it is just uncomfortable to sit on your knee without protection for extended periods of time).

Also, if you are not held to a uniform requirement, you may want to look into the "contractor look" (tan pants with pockets, black shirt, and then your plate carrier and whatever boots you would like to use (I use herman surivors that I got on sale at walmart. they look great and match perfectly...also are very comfortable)

This will help keep prices down a bit and it is a very cool looking loadout (everytime I see someone wearing contractor I think it looks really cool/badass. I personally do not have the tan pants yet but plan on getting some this week because I already have THIS shirt which I can put patches on the sleeves.

If you're an explorer you may want to choose how and what exactly you explore from the world. Maybe your character is a timetraveler (classic in Steampunk but still nice to see different takes on it) and always carries a backpack like device on his back that helps him to shift between timezones. With machines like this you can go crazy with your imagination :D perhaps add a clock to it, use some gears in logical places like inside the machine or somewhere where the mehcanism is exposed. Add some LED lights to the inside so it glows out of the machine etc. etc. I think you got the idea.

I don't know about tops, but I really, really like my Dickies Scrub pants. They're very comfortable, have held up for nearly a year with no sign of wearing down, clean easily, and can be worn in pretty much any situation. They don't really look too specifically like scrubs, so they're versatile.

As for tables, I have an oakworks table. It came with my tuition and it seems a decent quality. I like it, but haven't really shopped around for tables sense I feel more or less set for the moment.

Since you're an AK user, if you ever find that crossdraw-style vest getting too hot or bulky for you, I'll point you towards the Chinese Type 81 chest rig - 4 AK magazine pouches plus 2 grenade pouches for misc. storage, all in a quiet, lightweight little bundle! You'll have to find another solution for your pistol, but I'd recommend getting a good hardshell holster for that anyways.

I am torn between two bomber jackets that I've narrowed down. The Alpha Industries Men's MA-1 Slim Fit Flight Bomber Jacket and the Levi's Men's Ma-1 Flight Jacket. Both look awesome from the pictures and ratings but I would love to know if anyone here has had any experience with either of them. I have both wool and synthetic, and run/hike/backpack/camp in both. Both are fine. Wool excels for multi-day trips because it doesn't hold the stink; even treated synthetics stink eventually. But for one run, that's not a consideration...it's just personal preference.

I run in merino tops sometimes, but one of my favorite warm shirts is actually one of the cheapest...the military issue waffle shirt.

Edit: Also, thrifting and a tailor/sewing machine is a great alternative to the jeans. Cotton as in a boonie hat?

A boonie hat will soak up water/sweat to help cool you off, and a straw hat will allow more airflow to help cool you off.

Shoes: I wear my Doc Martens. I have 3 pairs that I rotate through so they have time to breathe and reduce foot funk. Each pair has gel inserts (Dr Scholl's I think?).

Scrubs: I swear by my dickies for bottoms and tops. I've tried various brands, these are the ones I like best.

Stethoscope: I haven't needed more than the disposable ones on the unit in 5 years of behavioral health. Been in the ER for 6 months, think I've needed a good stethoscope 3 times (2 asthmatics, 3rd time for bowel sounds on an obstruction).

Option B: just adjust the grip strength of the shirt stay clasp.

It takes about 5 seconds to complete. Inspect the metal clasp that attaches to your shirt or your sock. You should see that one of the pieces is bent into a kind of L shape. To increase the grip strength, bend that inside piece so that it's more perpendicular.

This can be done by opening the clasp, inserting a thin piece of hard material (like a small metal nail file) through the back of the clasp, and then closing the clasp slightly. Small changes can have very large effects; don't overdo it.

Note that I'm talking specifically about this style of shirt stay. They only cost about $10 and they last for years with everyday use. You just need to tighten them from time to time as the elastic gradually stretches.

The goggles are ANSI and MIL-PRF rated, so that's good to go. Design looks identical to the Land Ops. It's part of the Striker line, like the Land Ops.

If you want durable and good at zero or below you should look at aCarhartt Men's Arctic Quilt Lined Yukon Coat C55 . I bought this back in 2014 after my other carhartt jacket (over 15 years of use) got a bit ragged. This is an incredibly warm jacket and rugged coat. The outer layer is almost canvas like. I had a sweater on under this at -10F shoveling snow in the winter and got sweaty. It blocks winds
very well and I have stood outside at around 10F for hours without getting the slightest chill. I also got the optional hat.

Downside is that it is a bit stiff but after a few years and washes it gets better.

Not sure it this is too much into the parka territory for you but Carhartt does have other though jackets that are not as insulated.

Surprised nobody's mentioned shirt stays. They might be annoying to put on if you need to wear dress shirts every day but the fact that they keep your shirt tucked in at all times means the amount of 'bagginess' you experience will almost always be nonexistent when you wear these. These are the ones I got years ago and they still work like a charm. I say try these before you go even go to a tailor

I copped one earlier this year, sleeves are pretty puffy, but I like the way it fits.

Also if you ever wear tucked in button-down shirts, get a pair of shirt garters. Theyre super cheap but might feel a little odd for the first wear or two but they make a huge difference on how you look. Would always recommend.

It's not an easy find. I've been through more than I care to admit. I think the best pair I've ever had were from a small independent men's store. Check those in your area. I've also found okay ones at Army/Navy stores (they had them behind the counter). I've got these off Amazon, and they're shit. The foot loop ones always slide off my foot, so I don't use those. These are the type that I always use.

Rothco makes a good milspec boonie hat. It's hard to beat at $10 on Amazon. Lightweight, tough BDU fabric. Comes with chin strap, brim loops, and metal screen vents for the top. Can't go wrong at this price, I suggest giving one a try.

Midcaps or highcaps? Define "a few". You could tape them together, or get mag clamps. It's a pain if you run more than two and need to ditch the clamped ones, however.

Something like a Chicom chest-rig sounds about perfect for your needs.

They definitely help. I remember they use to sell a silicon belt that you put over your shirt, but under your belt line, that keeps the shirt in.
