Some "atypical" stuff:

Plastic Wrap That particular brand is my favorite. Very glossy, smooth, and tightens just the right amount (not too much, but enough).

Microfoam tape soft, stretchy, skin-safe tape. Perfect for mouths, eyes, and other openings :) Not strong enough to hold someone in a bind (like around the wrists) but good for other purposes.

Vinyl Tape Good for more secure bindings, but be careful stretching it too tight, can really shrink back up and squeeze someone too hard.

etc :)

https://www.amazon.com/Stretch-Tite-Premium-Titecut-Slide-Cutter/dp/B0195R5YSQ/ref=sr_1_44?keywords=static+tape&qid=1565466584&s=hpc&sr=1-44

I think ever since people started using electrostatic tape in kink, savvy marketers have started putting that into their products' search terms so it's harder to sort through to find the stuff that isn't overpriced and marketed for bedroom play. It's something else you can try searching for.

And this isn't bondage tape, but you can keep your rope bunny fresh and free from fridge odors. ;) (I am in no way advocating the placing of submissives into any kitchen appliances; please contain submissives responsibly.)

You are correct sir. Apparently not, actually.

Tin Foil: 1 sqft = $0.04 (0.04397537379)

Paper Plates: 1 sqft = $0.01 (0.01063829787) See my reply below, actual cost is $0.10

Saran Wrap: 1sqft = $0.02 (0.0227)

I showed my work below:

>How about tin foil instead? In fact lets look at all 3.

>Looking around on amazon, it would seem that tin foil is roughly $1 for 22.74 square feet.

>And adding in the saran wrap:

>This one makes it easy for us since it's a 100 sqft roll, $1 gets you 44.05 sqft

>So, when we compare this to these 9 inch paper plates,

>Which, cost roughly $1 for 1134.45 sq inches, or $1 for 94 sq. feet, we find that the paper plates are a greater value when compared on a inch by inch basis, however, it is still possible to save money when using tin foil or saran wrap if you sometimes use smaller amounts of them for food, this is not possible with paper plates (unless you cut the plates up, which no one is doing)

  1. This Ryan Gosling life-sized cut-out, because if I woke up to him in my room, I'd be sweating buckets

  2. This mini coke fridge because it keeps them for you and you aone, it has a bottle opener and glass bottles are WAY better than plastic.

  3. a bichon frise blanket You'll get all the looks on your lovely picnic!

  4. Seattle, WA!

  5. Skip-it's always got me outside in the summer

  6. Saran wrap is my must for camping. You don't go camping with friends without planning on playing some pranks. We would saran wrap their tent while they were sleeping and toss a fake snake in the tent. We'd scream and freak out and they'd go to running out and get a face full of saran wrap.

  7. It's not quite Smokey the Bear, but it's Gloomy Bear in kigurumi form!

  8. I just made a playlist for my roommate to move across country a few weeks ago. I got dis! Chromeo-Night by Night

  9. Anthills are probably a big no no

  10. To make the pronto pups in home!

r/sousvide might be a good place to crosspost this, but before pursuing the wrap approach, you'll probably want to be very certain that you are using the correct type of wrap. This is the correct type according to chefsteps, and they tend to know what they are talking about

u/BennyFackter · 2 pointsr/fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuu

Make sure the box is very sturdy, that shit can't move or you're fucked. Take whatever you want to cover, set it directly in between you and the wrap. Pull the wrap up, then towards you, and stick it to the subject of the wrapping, make sure it's pulled tight, it should look like you could bounce a quarter off that shit. Grasp the plastic wrap very near the blade with your left hand, then QUICKLY run your finger from the left to the right directly in front of the blade. It should cut through smooth as a samurai sword.

ninja edit: it helps that I use really big boxes, so they're pretty heavy and stay pretty well weighted down on the table. If you can find a big-ass box (like this) it would help a lot.

Tablecraft (KK3) 1-Roll Kenkut Film Wrapper 2 PACK https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BZ21V3Q/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_7w8oDb7TRJSF8

Saved someone else’s life because you can’t be an asshole and leave the plastic wrap like that.

u/ChefGuru · 49 pointsr/WeWantPlates

Just an FYI: that's not actually newspaper, it's wax paper created specifically for food service use.

In many places, it's against health department regulations to use real newspaper for serving food, so companies have begun making wax paper that looks like newspaper so that places that traditionally used newspaper, like for fish & chips, can continue the same look, but comply with health department regulations.

I just found some on Amazon in shorter lengths.

Looks to me like it holds industrial sized cling wrap, similar to this item. https://www.amazon.com/Tablecraft-KK3-1-Roll-Kenkut-Wrapper/dp/B004I3VSPQ?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_2

I have used stretch-tite for years and prefer it to all other wraps. You can get a huge several years supply of 3000 sq. ft. for a little less than $20.00 +$1.99 shipping (shipping wt. is 9.2 pounds).

u/ntxawg · 1 pointr/oculus

cheap alternative is if you have plastic food wrap like https://www.amazon.com/Saran-Wrap-Cling-Square-Boxed/dp/B002HNW6PK/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1468446635&sr=8-1&keywords=saran+wrap just cut and wrap it around the area and then a new one for new person.

VRcovers does take a very very long time to ship, about a month or two just an fyi

u/spadmin · 15 pointsr/Ultralight

You can cut 80% more weight off with this.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B077QLRDHF/ref=mp_s_a_1_1/139-4035144-6062219?ie=UTF8&qid=1524192238&sr=8-1-spons&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=saran+wrap&psc=1

Just throw away the roll, and overlap layers as you need.

Storage is easy, wrap it around your leg or arm when not in use and it becomes wearable weight.

I used to buy Saran Wrap, switched over to a generic when it was cheap as hell. Hated it. It stuck to itself, didn't stick to the container, and ripped constantly. Randomly found Stretch-Tite at Costco one day and picked it up. Best stuff ever. Thicker than Saran Wrap so not as delicate, but otherwise just as easy to work with. Usually a lot cheaper than what I can find Saran Wrap for too.

u/bahnzo · 3 pointsr/Breadit

I do this, but you don't have to look for a shower cap. These are available at my local Walmart, and not only do they work on the fire alarm, but the large size works great for covering my bowls while rising.

No to use in the dishwasher , Yes In the microwave. They make food wrap for cold and hot environments. Behold Saran Wrap. There are other brands that you can use, but that's what I use.

u/Pyronic_Chaos · 2 pointsr/todayilearned

So, uh, this then? Looks to be the same, and I don't have a Costco/Sam's card, so I use Amazon.

u/beezel- · 198 pointsr/Rainbow6

You can order it from here

u/Sublethall · 3 pointsr/mildlyinfuriating
