Dump the oil and put in fresh oil. Install a fuel shut off or start using the one that's already on it, Some have them some don't. Look for it, it would be right under the fuel tank in the fuel line. Rebuild the carb or just take it apart and clean it. If you're careful you can do it without needing new gaskets or the rebuild kit. Search around you may be able to get one cheaper.

A rebuild kit is about $25 bucks but it takes a little knowlage to do it properly. If you've never done it before you might be better off with a new one. And put some Seafoam in the fuel. It'll prevent gunk build up and extend the life of the new carb and maybe even prevent this from happening again.

If there is a shut off you could just turn it on when you want to use it and shut it off after. The seafoam might even free up the stuck needle valve given some time to work. I'd try this first because I'm lazy and cheap.

You should be using the fuel shutoff anyway. This is the reason that put one on it in the first place.

This style puller might be the best choice with the flat side against the pulley or a three jaw puller.

You could also remove the OD End Bell and Stator, support the DE End Bell on two 2 x 4 s and try to drive the shaft through with a ½” rod or bolt. Crude Scketch

If that doesn’t work take it to a local automotive or machine shop and get them to use a hydraulic press.

Or just buy a new step pulley.

Hey Justin, thanks for checking in! I plan on getting this fan combo and hanging it outside the the tent, with a small carbon filter inside. I think I need a 6"-to-4" reducer in that case. Any recommendations for a low-profile one? And would this setup allow me to dial down the airflow enough to not stress the plants?

I chose the 5-gallon pots because I wanted to maximize my floor space while minimizing the height. If I only fill the pots with 3.5 gallons of soil, the height is less than a 3-gallon pot fully filled. My concern is maybe the roots don't want to grow outward. Can cannabis roots be trained to grow more horizontally instead of down?

these axes, I've read, are some good lightweight hatchets they may need a little work on the edge but from what i've heard they are nice for the price

A bit more pricey than others you'll find but they last for ages. Don't wear or crack, AND you can insert a UV filter in there if you so desire. I never needed one myself, but can attest they help when you don't have adequate filtration and are looking for a bandaid solution.

I know it's probably stock, and you may be inclined to restore the Cub to stock (and that's OK!), but have you ever considered how loud these exhausts are. Does it ever bother or concern you? Just wondering.

This winter I will be restoring a 1960 Panzer. I'm not hell bent on keeping everything stock, but will keep the appearance as such and it'll all look "period correct". I found a new exhaust (used on a prev. build / restoration) and I love how quiet it is, and have had others comment on it as well.

I ended up configuring this horizontally in front of and under a forward-facing head / cylinder on a vertical shaft, 18hp Briggs. I had to sleeve the inlet and bought 1, 180 deg. mandrel bend to cut up and get this exactly where I wanted it.

Its a combo deal and its a 6 inch fan and filter. You're much better off going with the 6 incher there will be more airflow and less noise. If it is too powerful you can get a speed controler to lower the noise.

A fuel filter is a fuel filter is a fuel filter for the most part. If it looks the same and connects the same, it pretty much will be the same.

I have a decent idea for a the swan. You could use a cheap pink flamingo lawn ornament as the structure of the swan, then you just need to attach the tin foil to it, somehow.

For example, one of the swans from this set of two, for 12 bucks on Amazon is pretty much the exact shape you want. Compare with this sceen. And as abonus, it will keep it's shape more reliably.

That pump and manifold is a bit large for my 4 plant setup. I think I will just relocate the pump to outside the grow room. I've been looking on Amazon and this looks like a really good deal.

I just spray mine using water hose aimed at the sidewalk just under the deck while it's running but this might work better.

IIRC Schwab has them. I don't recall them being this pricey. IMO worth it when trying to get them on/off on the side of the road.

Spark plugs are dependant on the engine, your husband is incorrect. Many different variables that determine which plug to use. First get the correct plug and set the gap properly.
