15. 2" Round 10 LED Light [2 in 1 Reflector] [Polycarbonate Reflector] [10 LEDs] [D.O.T. Certified] [2 Year Warranty] Side Marker Light for Trucks and Trailers - Red

    Features:
  • ULTRA REFLECTIVE POLYCARBONATE LENS – The red 2" round LED side marker uses a specially designed polycarbonate lens to reflect back direct light, allowing your tractor or trailer to be more visible at night and providing a safer driving experience for you and other drivers on the road. The round LED side marker also comes with a “TOP” orientation, designed to allow you to uniformly install multiple units, while maximizing the amount of reflectiveness from each lens.
  • 2 IN 1 FUNCTIONALITY - Driving a tractor, trailer, truck, or any other large vehicle mandates that you drive with side marker lights and reflectors depending on the size of your vehicle. The LED clearance light comes with 10 high powered LEDs, allowing it to serve as both a reflector and clearance light that federal law requires for larger trailers.  This LED clearance light is also D.O.T FMVSS-108 compliant.
  • 180° VISIBILITY - Each red 2" round LED clearance light comes with a protruded light that sticks out past the grommet for increased visibility. When you place the clearance light on the side or the back of your tractor or trailer, the clearance light provides 180° of visibility, allowing for safer driving. The specially designed clearance light is designed using textured edges that help disperse the light at a wider angle in comparison to lights that are flush with their grommet.
  • WATERPROOF, SUBMERSION READY - The waterproof IP67 rated LED side markers are fully capable of being submersible. This makes the clearance light ideal for boat trailers that launch and pick up watercraft into the water.
  • EASY INSTALLATION - The OLS red clearance light comes with a rubber grommet so you never have to mess around with screws. Simply use a preexisting hole, or create a new cut out for the grommet, and use the industry standard two prong plug to light up the night.

Yeah I still need to do the interior. When we had one decent week (was in the 60s) before the cold came back, I did a quick sweep and wipe down, but it definitely wasn’t good enough.

I did change out all of the front bulbs (headlights, DRLs, fogs) as well as the side marker covers and bulbs. The front are LED-like halogen bulbs, and the side markers are LEDs. I made a post about the front lights last year. The side markers I bought off of Amazon.

I would recommend going for actual LEDs if you can afford it. The halogens look close to LEDs, are cheaper, and I haven’t had any issues, but the light output isn’t all that great and I can tell there is a slight yellow hue to them despite the blue coating. No complaints with the side markers. They look awesome.

Yes, if you want shiny you could polish stainless bumpers. I was planning on painting mine the wheel color which is a satin gunmetal gray.
The P.O. of my car was a Volvo mechanic and he did the elect fuel pump, which I have since replaced w/ a new one. He also did the headlight relay kit, driveshaft rubber link thing, U joints. He also remove all of the emission garbage and I'm told that makes a huge difference in power felt. It does pull pretty hard. I have the lowering springs, shocks, sway bar bushings, center link, etc. to do and still on my list is control arm bushings and better brakes.
I had an issue where it was running like crap - rough and very rich, all of the sudden and found the issue to be the idle cut-out / shut off solenoid.
If you do decide to remove front bumper and want to fill in the holes, that was a lot of work for me. Welding in the patches wasn't too tough but just all of the profiling / block sanding to get all those radius' to blend nicely took me a long time. The front blinker marker lights I got are for a 1960's Mustang. Their profile isn't a perfect match but close enough where difference isn't noticeable at a glance.
If you want a front spoiler get the one from Vick Auto as it's much better quality than the Mr. Fiat one.

Good luck with your car!

Edit: One thing I would do different is to delete the rectangular side marker lights and go with those tiny 3/4" round ones. That would immediately make the car look 10 years older IMO. Someone also makes a small control board to alternate blinker flash so it would blink front/side/ alternately. Like these:

I have the Weathertech floor liners in mine. Husky and OEM are other options. For the side markers I bought smoked one's off Amazon.
REVi MotorWerks DEPO Smoke Front Bumper Side Marker Light Set + Amber Bulbs FIT for 2016-2018 Honda Civic 2D/4D/5D https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073X69N7D/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_nXQUCbDD09KSG

I think most states the side markers just half to be reflective and visible from 500ft. There are also some LED one's that will work with your turn signal but require a fuse tap. Lots of options.

I went with the Procivic wind visors on mine. There's a Mugen type as well. Just depends on what you want to spend on what look. I'm happy with the Procivics.

www.civicx.com is a great place to find info as well.

Here's mine

For the price I have absolutely no complaints. There is some sort of residue on them I believe, but that should just clean up. Haven't tried yet. I can get better photos if you want.

They were $26 on amazon when I bought them: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CQSPL1P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There is also a variant for the sedan, and even ones that have LED logo lighting.

Side markers were a little pricey but had the best reviews I saw: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073X69N7D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are some in the $20-30 range.

Not all that 'smoked' but look so much better then those bright orange abominations that are stock. I honestly think it's my favorite thing I've done.

u/Noise_Brigade · 2 pointsr/Jeep

Very nice, it looks great! I know you said you had know mod plans yet but might I suggest something like [this?] (http://www.amazon.com/Wrangler-Right-Signal-Light-Mopar/dp/B00GFTTNNA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1409520023&sr=8-1&keywords=jeep+wrangler+jk+clear+directionals)

It'd be a fairly a fairly cheap upgrade and would look really sharp with the color you've got, I think. Enjoy!

u/ASFbobjack · 1 pointr/Jeep

They stopped selling the brand I bought but my friend has these and they are just as good
(FYI the parking lights are halos but the turn signals and emergency flashers are amber)

I got these: Looked great, fit better than the OEM. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B073X69N7D/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

u/MusicMotorsMountains · 1 pointr/XVcrosstrek

I used these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01I1CHCO0/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I didn't use the rubber grommet that they are supposed to slide into. Just pulled out the plastic core, and they wedge perfectly into the grill (though I did throw a little epoxy on there just for good measure).

You can see them in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/XVcrosstrek/comments/d2dqp5/pitstop_during_offroading_last_weekend_the_subie/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x

Another amazon purchase. Seems to be good quality, and good fit

u/conceptionist · 1 pointr/led

I was hoping I could match it to the other side. But I did manage to find something that may have the same brightness and diameter on amazon https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IR3G3S4 hopefully that works if I take it apart.

u/Flnn · 3 pointsr/civic

Weew, that's a beauty. If you get itchy to change something, consider swapping the side markers. Definitely my favorite thing that I've done aesthetically, and it took 5 minutes.

u/Rausage505 · 2 pointsr/Triumph

You could always buy the Triumph ones... or get the Koso's that are identical. That's what I did on mine. Word of warning, though: the Triumph LEDs are EXPENSIVE. Hence, the pair I bought for the rear are the Koso's. Got the Triumph LED flasher relay, too.

u/Freek2188 · 5 pointsr/Jeep

I would think that tape would not be an acceptable fix. I don't know what your regulations are there but where I live, if your vehicle came equipped with side markers they must work during a VI.

These are cheap and I would think easy to replace. Looks like they just snap in to place.

u/CarbonGod · 1 pointr/Lighting

Well yes, solar is big in campers, etc. You can get many types (like the one you linked) that have a seperate solar panel, so you can wire the light inside.
You can also get a stand alone battery/batterypack, solar panel, and LED lights. it's very easy, and there are tons of places online that you can check out for simple solar systems.

ie:

Solar panel (say, 20w), small 12v lead acid battery (like 10Ah), a charge controller ( or equiv. for the UK ), and then some 12v lights

u/ricogs400 · 1 pointr/Vive

It would be cool if you get it to work, but would you install the receiver inside the controller grip?

I use the magnetic usb charging cables on mine. They hang right below where the controllers hang and I can just click them into the usb end and pop them off when I want. Haven't had to remove the ends yet, so hoping they come out easy.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01BY2Q59C?psc=1
They charge as fast as the standard usb cable.

u/mattfofatt01 · 2 pointsr/civic

Not op, but I'm waiting on These in the mail, couldn't pass up with all the positive reviews.

u/Tactilenek · 3 pointsr/bikesgonewild

On the radiator covers cheapies from Amazon.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0116I6FB2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apap_7irLeoGTCR23o

I drilled holes in the plastic radiator guard and put waterproof LED strips behind for better visibility from the front as well.

u/mrdeadsniper · 7 pointsr/dndnext

Here is a quick idea for how to do it.

First, get a POM bottle :
https://www.packagingdigest.com/sites/default/files/styles/featured_image_750x422/public/297190-POM_single_serve_bottle.JPG?itok=ZQGrcN07

Next, paint the entire top part like a cork (mainly so its opaque).

throw your 2d4 in it

Then install LED light in the top opaque part shining down.

https://www.amazon.com/LED-Reflector-Polycarbonate-Certified-Warranty/dp/B077STD2SV

I put these in the blank spot where the light would of been in the rear fog assembly. Worked great!

u/emchi · 1 pointr/Honda

Purchased from iJDMtoy through [Amazon] (https://www.amazon.com/iJDMTOY-Right-Marker-2016-up-Hatchback/dp/B01LWLEFOG) with the amber LEDs. A couple of other places sell them as well on ebay. I've seen smoked ones too, those ones look pretty sharp.

u/iDingo91 · 1 pointr/civic

I did change them out. These are the ones I picked up from Amazon and I love it.

u/taco-core · 2 pointsr/civic

Same here! The fishbowl look is driving me nuts. I just did mine, so my disclaimer is that I don’t know how these will wear, but... I went through this Amazon seller. Good reviews and suggested by a friend who has them.

I've always been interested in these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LZA1GC5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_ixeHyb79SQNAV I'm not sure if they are any good or not but it might be worth looking into.

u/JustCallMeMittens · 1 pointr/E90

Get the Amazon ones. Previous owner sprayed mine and they look like shit maybe six months later. I ordered these and they look great.

u/n0ke · 1 pointr/GalaxyS7

I found these magnetic USB cables quite handy for charging the controllers while minimizing the risk of bending the micro USB ports.

Since I also have an Oculus, I bought this HDMI switch so that I don't ever have to unplug and re-plug in the cables (which damaged them in the past, which was hell). If you are going this route, I might next time consider a KVM switch that also switches the USB, though I do not have one to recommend.
