>Think a tan leather chaise sofa with blue pillows would be a good fit?

That was my fist thought but that would be out of your price range I would expect to pay over 3 grand for one that was well made and comfortable. I would encourage you to go with a dark blue sofa with light woolen/tan pillows and throw and maybe a large tan leather ottoman, and the bench and consider that to be your under 2 k .

I'm doing a little floor plan based on the dimensions guessed from the photos, yes, that was basically what I gathered was your layout.

The biggest mistake that novices make is to not use a tape measure, a tape measure and color wheel is to a decorate what a baseball and glove is to a catcher. I don't expect you to know how to use a color wheel, but you need to measure before you purchase anything.

I am guessing they have a 74" sofa and there isn't much more room than that from the photos. Google 74" sleeper chaise blue.

Thanks for the style update, that will make it easier.

If you can right now, ring up some local furniture stores and ask if they have a 74" sleeper sofa with a left hand (window side) chaise in blue. Then go look at it sit on it and make a note if you like it or not.

I'm going to post this now, but I will add to it below this line in a few minutes.

Edit: continued.

I am going to encourage you to try and measure the distance in that space where the sofa is, right now if you can get in there. Because this is maybe the major weekend for furniture sales (Labor Day) and a great time to buy a sofa. There will be many sales on Monday that may or may not extend beyond. It would be a good time to shop as well, I ran across many sales on line. and take a tape measure with you when you shop. Seriously furniture stores will fuck up measurements just so you buy it.

I am not finding a lot of chase sofas in 74" and I am hoping an 84 might just squeeze in.

Here is what I ran across

Hephzibah Reversible Sleeper Sectional is 84" comes in blue, $559.99 42% Off $969.99 AllModern

Bozeman Reversible Sleeper Sectional, 84" I like the grey $619.99 44% Off $1,109.99 AllModern.

Jarreau Sofa Chaise Sleeper, sort of transitional, ~84" $699.99 Sale Price $419.99

LABOR DAY SALE (ends Thursday) up to 30% off* + an EXTRA 10% OFF* WITH CODE: LABORYAY10 online, Ashley Has local stores to try out the furnishings. It looks like the best one for the price.

FRIHETEN Sleeper sectional,3 seat w/storage, Skiftebo blue $599.00, has 3rd party slip covers But it's just over 90" wide. see the review.

I do not suggest overstock, the company is cwap. The contact and help is where they save you money: the customer care doesn't. overstock review.

Now with the bookcase, I made a mistake. I thought there was an easy option for a 4 seating dining and after looking closer there isn't just for a pull out desk (which is still an option)

I liked the idea of a cube bookcase repeating the square transom windows, and I know some come with desk variants.

Instead I would like to see a bookcase, or set of two or three and a dining table pushed up to it when fewer than 4 are dining, that could be used as a desk. The space "looks big enough for a dinning table, but not much. You could try a round table, which doesn't look as big when not in use, I fear that a square or rectangle table would dominate the entire space.

So that is why I made the suggestions I did, It really depends on the exact measurements. We like to have 3' between the edge of the wall and the table top for dining.

I am suggesting you get the smallest rectangle table possible for 4 person: 48" long by 30-34" wide. Then use it as a desk or console table when not dining and pull out the bench for two people's seating, and have two dinning/upholstered side chairs for the other two pieces.

If I didn't make clear, the current two club chairs do not work, They would work less with a chaise sofa, they don't have enough room and crowd out the entrance to the bedroom. An upholstered bench would create a better sight line and make that corner seem less crowded. It is possible you could fit two small round swivel chairs instead.

Room and Board has the Otis swivel chair in indigo or grey, or any of the Maxton textured at $800 ea, They have a low back and are 32" wide, probably narrower than the current chairs.

Their are also the office type usually not cheaper but you might find something like that used on Craig's List or at Reuse stores searching for swivel chair, you don't want desk chairs.

Another option would be looking at bucket dinning chairs.

West Elm had the Quilted Tub Chair, that was the perfect size and height.

Again from Ashley are Centiar dinning chairs in brown, at $90.00 Sale Price $53.99 each ($107.98 set)

Pandora Modern Button Tufted Bonded Leather Dining Chairs in white (Set of 2) on sale at Houzz (pronounced whose?) 47% Off You save: $147.17 $165.39 for two, its quite a deal for leather! Unfortunately they don't have it in tan.

This compares to the Milania (corrective grain) Leather at Amazon, $126 for two in white.

Or the Giantex Leisure Armchairs PU Leather composite, sturdy? at $155,

You might find something you like in leather at Amazon, but mostly I'm finding faux.

Hennessy Upholstered Dining Chair in brown @ Allmodern $175.99 was $599.00 71% Off, Is insanely priced for the hand stitched quality and should last you a life time. It may seem pricey, but if you save on the sofa these chairs would be a stand out. They are certainly classic modern and won't last at that price, Of all the chairs I looked at tonight, these are the ones I would buy on impulse.

In summery, my picks are two of the Hennesy chairs (last above) and the blue Hephzibah sofa (first in the list) if you have 84" to work with for a total of $1322, leaving you room for accessories, lamps, etc. I think that is good on your budget.

Last, here are the plans I drew up. I would be surprised if the dimensions are too far off. mostly this is just the lounge and dining.

For the bedroom I was suggesting, I'm going to have to comment more on that later, as well as curtains.

Crappy Paint Mockup of how I'd live as a single young person in this space: https://imgur.com/a/2PCm7bA (If you are a couple and need TWO sets of multiple monitors, this wouldn't be sufficient, but I can't tell how many computers you need running at once here.)

I agree that your first stop should probably be ikea. They'll have good-enough desks that will look pretty good and work pretty well for a solid decade. You might look into an adjustable height desk so you can play with your optimal height. Or with a standard fixed desk, I agree on the previous comment that you probably want an L-shape.

Why do you hate couches? When I was in a small apartment, I got a "chair and a half" -- it easily fit two people that were happy to be close together. (It had a storage ottoman (more seating!) and folded out into a twin bed. It was the best.) You do need SOME nice comfy seating to curl up in. Ikea also has plenty of chairs. You do want at least two and something to put drinks and books down on nearby. Could be two chairs and an end table, or a coffee table, or a rigid tray on an ottoman.

Bookshelves. A nice freestanding ladder shelf would be good. Tons of styles, like https://www.amazon.com/SONGMICS-Bookcase-Bathroom-Furniture-ULLS44X/dp/B074X7WT6D

Here is a storage ottoman that is easily moved from place to place. Great to have a few around to unfold and put away as needs change. Less expensive than the fancy upholstered kind. You can rest your legs on it from a chair and then use it as extra seating when you have people over. https://www.amazon.com/SONGMICS-ULSF47K-Foldable-Space-Saving-Capacity/dp/B07JQ22YYS

The desk chairs look really ... young. Hard to advise there, though. If you spend significant time on the computer, I think it's better to prioritize function over form, or you WILL have body problems down the road. Get nicer looking chairs if you can. If you can't and these are working great for your body... eh. Make everything else look nice. You probably only need one desk chair, unless there's two of you with two PCs?

You may want a kitchen island to give you more counter space and storage space. You desperately need counter space. Here is an inexpensive one but they are all over the map for style. https://www.amazon.com/Casual-Home-Kitchen-American-Hardwood/dp/B00ROX6VRW/

You probably also want some shelves between the dishwasher and the balcony. Shallow for just glassware or deeper for holding actual dishes. Just give yourself a wide path between that and any island that divides the kitchen from the living.

I am thinking you don't need a dining table and chairs, so make your living space do dining duty. Or get a kitchen island unit that includes a bar and put barstools there.

Don't forget lamps. Good lighting will make this a home, and those will travel with you.

u/SaucyMoonbeams · 12 pointsr/DesignMyRoom

I don’t think yellow is a good idea for your apartment. Because the floor is older it has yellow undertones, and I’m sure that around the apartment as well there are yellow undertones. which of you paint your cabinets yellow, will come out more making everything look dated.

I think you should leave the top cabinets alone, if anything get new handles and straighten them out. The stain of the wood and is really pretty and classic.

If you want a pop of color, I would paint your lower cabinets a dark to medium gray/blue, and have some bronze handles to pop. Something like SW 7602

As for floor tiles, check out this store on Etsy. They sell ready to use tile stickers that can go on top of whatever you have now. They have both floor and wall ones. For your floor, I think something like this could look nice.

For a backsplash, they make beautiful peel and sticks that don’t break the bank. Some I like are:

one

two

three

By keeping the backsplash neutral you can have your cabinets pop. And also giving your kitchen a clean modern look.

For carts, something like these could work, just make sure whatever cart you do end up buying is the same height as your counter.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you got any questions

I'll just list everything that I can, how's that?

The bakers rack on the left is This

The left most skillet is an AUS-ION
They're made in Australia and so smooth. Some nice touches of the piece are the very detailed cut-out of Australia on the handle and another nice engraving on the bottom.

Then there's the Stargazer. My first expensive piece. It's also very smooth. It's had a hard time keeping its seasoning, and I've admittedly been babying it by seasoning and seasoning it with flaxseed oil and a Crisbee puck.

Then there is the Finex group. It starts with the 10" grill pan. Then there's the 12" and 8". I just love the different geometric shapes of them.

All the way to the right is the Lodge Sauce Pot

I haven't used it a whole lot other than to make a few dips.

Between the big hanging skillets are some Lodge 4" and 5" skillets that I thought just looked cool and rounded out my collection.

The griddle is just a double sided griddle from world market. It's my go to pancake tool.

Then there is an A1 Chef pizza pan that I honestly don't use very much. I tend to just use some cheap aluminum pans with holes on the bottom because they're easier to form the crust on.

On the middle shelf from left to right are my 10" and 12" lodges. The 10" was my very first cast iron skillet. They've both been stripped and reseasoned and are much smoother than factory. I don't see myself giving up my first two skillets. I still use them a lot.

In the middle is the 10" grill pan from Lodge. I honestly hate cleaning the grill pans and have found that the lines in the meat aren't really worth the scraping. There's also some cheap fajita skillet that I don't think I've ever used.

And on the right is the Lodge enameled dutch oven but in the light grey. I love this thing, and got it for a song on Amazon one day.

On the bottom shelf on the left is the Lodge Wok I have definintely not used it. It seems like it would be better on a gas range, which I don't have. This was an impulse buy, and I don't know how to really cook any asian food, so who knows.

Then last but not least is the regular Lodge Dutch Oven
Many a roast has been made in this. The drip spikes on top does the basting for you. I just got a sous vide setup, so I'll probably be using it less and less, but sometimes I know I'll want the smell of a roast wafting through the air all day on a cold Autumn day.

Bonus pieces Kitchenaid Stainless Steel cookware set on top with All clad non-stick pans to the right of those.

Then there are some Lodge Stonewear on the other bakers rack

Edit: the links I inserted below have parentheses within the link themselves so I apologise for the bad formatting

You need to establish the two areas of the rooms, the kitchen/dining area, as well as the living space. An area rug would work best in the main space. I would go with coordinating small round rug and one small kitchen floor mat in front of the sink.

I also suggest a small kitchen island with foldable counterspace as well as a cuppy underneath for the microwave. A couple of bar stools and you also have a dining space. This can go directly where the microwave is currently. If you get one on wheels it could easily be used for other sort of things such as game night to fit four people at.

The plant is a nice touch and I always say the more greenery the better. Focus on low light, low water plants for easiest indoor maintenance.

You also definitely need curtains.

A large decorative mirror as well as some art work on the wall above the sofa would brighten the space up as well as make it look larger. I would also move the tall lamp to the opposite corner near the TV and get a nice table lamp instead for beside the couch.

I'll include some links for pieces I would go for, based on the current color scheme available through the sofa and throw pillows.

I have this. It is reasonably priced and I am very happy with it but, it will not seat more than 4 comfortably.

You may be interested in this. It is also very reasonably priced but, it is a full height table. It shouldn't cost much to get a local crafter to work on the legs. If you have the DIY skills, I see a fairly straightworward solution in a "hole and pin" expandable steel leg. Someting like this.

If you have $1k to spend, there is this. When not in use it sits against the wall like a console table or desk but, expands to seat up to 12 people. The first time I saw it was on youtube. This thing is amazing.

u/fedoradave · 6 pointsr/ScandinavianInterior

TL;DR: In terms of aesthetics I like simple trim, clean lines, and an emphasis on utility and the raw materials that went into building the furniture and home. This generally drops me into MCM and Scandinavian styles for furniture and industrial, exposed, and untreated styles for the bones of the home.

I like my seating to be firmer and simpler than most. This type of seating will keep you cooler in the summer and you can just grab a blanket or sweater in the winter to warm up. My dining/game table seats are ordinary lab stools, the type you can get in bulk for schools and actual labs. They're just grey painted steel and a linoleum seat riveted to the steel. My desk chair is one of those stools with a steel backrest. My two couches are firm IKEA couches (Karlstad and Ypperlig) that don't try to consume you when you sit in them. My girlfriend brought an accent chair from Amazon with her when we moved in together and it's my favorite thing to sit in - firm and supportive.

My three tables are all homemade using the extremely simple method of taking a wood product that wasn't a tabletop (such as a small door or cable spool side) and drilling/screwing hairpin legs into them. The company who makes the hairpin legs do great work and I love that they're based just a few hours from me. I chose to make my own tables because it's the simplest piece of furniture to build and most good looking tables on the market are incredibly overpriced.

u/speedycat2014 · 3 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

Right off Amazon! I had been contemplating a Louis style chair that maybe I'd keep in the room on its own... So I Googled something like that, ended up on Amazon and then ended up at this link (not an Affiliate link or anything: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CIQV6G6/ref=psdc_5264133011_t1_B005O9Z1RE)

So, this is called a "Ghost Chair" apparently. I posted the photo to FB and my stepsister who might as well be an interior designer immediately posted, "I love your Ghost Chair!"

I commended her for noticing and she said, "Of course I picked up on it! Philippe Starck references do not go unnoticed!"

I googled Phillipe Starck and found that he's like, the uber designer of this "Louis Ghost Chair" which is a fashion/interior design phenom. And I stumbled upon it! I didn't pay the stupid $450 for his chair, but apparently bought a knock-off from Amazon from $75 or so.

I just want to say this is the first time I, Ms. T-shirt and Jeans, have been recognized by my stepfamily for my FAB design choices! I'm feeling more girly pretty every day! (Seriously, am psyched.)

u/2-22-15 · 9 pointsr/xxketo

Morning, ladies! It's Monday, let us arm ourselves with steak and knowledge as we storm the work week! Personally, I'd like to just go back to sleep, but I can sleep again when the cohabitant dies I live alone. I was spoiled by a silent house and the chance to sleep without a constant podcast babbling in the background. The pendulum of joy really swung the other way on that one.

I'm delighted with my new plant shelf- it's fairly small, about 36" x 9", but it adds that much surface to my best-lit kitchen windowsill. Now I have room to properly attend to all these little propagates as they grow, without crowding out my collection. I'm really glad that this is the way I'm turning into my mother, although I could do with her aversion to eating.

Beef short ribs last night were delicious (all I did was salt, sear, and slow cook dry), and I look forward to making them again, but tonight will be a grass fed ribeye. I'm noticing that when I eat really high quality (expensive) meat, I feel a hell of a lot better than after regular ole' grocery store meat, so I'll need to work on sourcing those ribs.

I was feeling profoundly defeated that the cohabitant came home to profess his undying love for our boring life, after a weekend partying with strippers and high school friends. Before I knew what I was doing, I finished a jar of coconut butter that I'd hidden from myself. I'm only mentioning it because of how profoundly shameful it feels to rant and rave about zero carb solving my problems, and then shovel down my personal equivalent of frosting. It's gone now, and I won't be buying any more nuts or butters for quite a while. Sometimes, I can't handle my own disappointment in myself, even when I do so much that I'm really proud of.

I have to get to work, but I'll be surreptitiously checking the Daily, I'm sure. Everyone remember your big goals for the future, your little goals for today, and remember that keeping calm and ketoing on is probably part of getting there <3

I've got this one Catskill Craftsmen Super Slab with Finger Grooves https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002HE13I/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_frqmyb7KS5HQB

And it's great. Tons of workspace. Heavy so it doesn't move even without a towel under it. Easy on the knives, easy to clean. They have smaller ones if that's too big.

I also have a couple plastic ones for stuff like chicken. Even though wood is naturally antibacterial, I prefer to just toss the plastic ones in the dishwasher. I don't like them nearly as much though.

u/IMIndyJones · 2 pointsr/HomeDecorating

I'm late to the party, but I think this floating shelf would look great in the corner. Having them off the countertop will make it easier to clean, and you won't have to worry about water damaging wooden shelf legs.

With this in mind, I would try something like these sink shelves under each window, if you are planning to keep the plants in that area.

u/Aalynia · 1 pointr/BabyBumps

We had one of those in my old apartment! The issue with that kitchen was that it had room for a breakfast table with two seats, but not a lot of countertop space/storage. The island helped fill in that gap. I was able to fit a toaster oven on it and it had a section that lifted up if I wanted more room to cut things, etc. Kind of like this one, but mine had cabinets at the bottom: http://www.amazon.com/Winsome-Wood-Utility-Cart-Natural/dp/B000NPOO68/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1369157788&sr=1-1&keywords=kitchen+cart

It was definitely a life saver in that place! I hope you figure out your kitchen situation too <3

u/LolFishFail · 2 pointsr/PKA

Table Talk.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0016KIWRG

It's a lot larger than the picture shows, To get a good context, it takes up the same amount of space as a couch.

But the cool thing about it is I can fit my huge PC case, 2 external harddrives, an Xbox 360, A ton of papers and books on it, Yet still have enough room to clear the desk to have room to draw etc... It's stronger than anything else you can get for the price. But the only thing someone might be picky about is the colour.

Also there's enough room for me to use a keyboard, mouse and graphics tablet without being cramped.

u/__Why · 2 pointsr/malelivingspace

On most refrigerators, it is a reasonably simple operation to reverse the opening. Get a friend and a couple of hours and you could resolve at least this piece of the puzzle.

Otherwise, I would say that perhaps getting a rolling cart like this: http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/30240348/ could be helpful. You could move it around as needed and tuck it into the least inconvenient corner when not in use.

Another alternative (especially if you reverse the fridge doors) would be to replace the existing appliance shelf with a baker's rack like this: http://www.amazon.com/Whitmor-6054-268-Supreme-Bakers-Chrome/dp/B0014QS1XC. It is 3' wide and you could put the appliances on the lower shelves.

u/lefteyedspy · 2 pointsr/HelpMeFind

Check this out. And here’s another that’s 4 ft. long instead of 5. They might be somewhat low to the ground for your tastes (which is the case for me with many tv stands, for example at IKEA), but they’re based on a legit classic design. If you’re handy, or know someone who is, maybe you could replace or somehow lengthen the legs? Or maybe put something sturdy, like a nice wooden box, on top of the bench and under your television’s base? Anyway, FYI, I found these by googling “George Nelson platform bench knockoff replica”.

Before we got married, my husband and I had lived together for about 6/7 years so we didn't need a lot as far as home stuff goes. I think we had added a replacement set of silverware, a toaster oven, and one of these utility cart things. The rest of our list was all the fun stuff we wanted like a PS4, crafting supplies for me, and computer stuff for my husband. Since that was our list, I think most people didn't know what to do with our registry and didn't really want to buy our fun stuff so they gave us cash. By the end I think 75% of our guests gave us cash. They also gave it in person at the wedding, so we didn't get any of our "gifts" until the end.

Edit: Also, now that I think about it, the few physical gifts we got were mostly received after the wedding

Of course. I got it off of Amazon for $127. Assembly took a few hours and was somewhat tedious. The handles for the cabinets ended up being too short for the holes that were already drilled in, so I ended up going to Home Depot and getting 4" handles that look better anyway. Otherwise, I love how much storage space it has. Let me know if you have any more questions!

They are super comfortable too.

If you're a fan of woodworking but not quite ready for this project (and you don't know of a local craftsman you can commission to build one) , I can heartily recommend this reproduction of a Nelson bench for about $150. Easy to assemble and much sturdier than I was expecting when I bought it.

Here is the board I use: Catskill Butcher Block

It is bigger, end grain and around the same price. Had it for about three years now and still going strong. Really good board.

Not terribly custom other than shelf height, and not gorilla rack, but here’s the link to the shelf:

Whitmor Supreme Sink Shelf - Multiuse Organizer - Wood and Chrome https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0026SPXRY?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

u/shortlivedlife · 2 pointsr/malelivingspace

You need one or two of these

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0014QS1XC/

Plus whatever you want to cook in, slow cooker, panini press, indoor grill, air fryer, hot plate with easy to wash non stick pans, Nespresso machine, Vitamix, French press, tea kettle, etc.

Pick your most used three and then get s hooks to hang utensils, pot holders, pans, etc.

Put your plates on the shelf below, and spices etc on top plus cereal etc can go on top too.

You can also use the wood top as a cutting board.

u/Ninjakitty07 · 2 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

That is lovely! Just my two cents, but I think a Louis Ghost Chair would look amazing.

u/Moj43 · 2 pointsr/InteriorDesign

On Amazon. Both were super cheap.

It's this: https://www.amazon.com/YAMAZAKI-home-7151-Rolling-Kitchen/dp/B008D8E3CM/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=Yamazaki&qid=1554502524&s=furniture&sr=8-3

Yamazaki cart. It's super skinny, like I can open my door all the way to the door stop and not hit it. It also holds A LOT.

u/[deleted] · 4 pointsr/MakeupAddiction

LexMod sells a beautiful version for less than $100!

u/rossatesta · 1 pointr/Secretlover3

I think if you set it off the ground a bit more, so the camera has a little more distance. ;-) I am thinking cinder blocks or something sturdy, and would be out of shot anyway. Though you may have to get a little stool to step up. That is the budget option. Of course you could get a nice one Amazon link Put it on your wishlist, maybe a fan might purchase it.

u/fsutan · 1 pointr/InteriorDesign

You're probably thinking of the mini model ghost chairs or the cost for the "chair" is 25, but there's a $75 shipping charge on top of that. Here is one I saw that was like that. This is a $25 mini chair.

I was given this for my birthday a couple years ago: http://www.amazon.com/Winsome-Wood-Entertainment-Cart-Espresso/dp/B000GLRG32

It works pretty well, I modified the wine glass holders with a dremel to accommodate glencairns.

http://i.imgur.com/aOIMH.jpg

Older picture, but you get the idea. I put short bottles under the glencairns, and I can keep smaller glasses on the lower wine rack, and bottles with screw tops or synthetic corks on the upper one.

Amazon, it's pretty nice but won't hold a ton... I mean, it'll hold more depending on if you buy extra S-hooks or not!

When you are dealing with such small space, the key is to condense as many things as possible, and really do away with things that aren't needed.

Instead of a toaster oven and a microwave, I would consider upgrading to a better unit that incorporates both functions. It will cost you about $200 but a microwave is putting you almost halfway there already.

If you put that shelving on the left wall it's going to be in your face whenever you try to wash a dish. And as far as the drying rack on the right hand side, I guess my question is...why? Just lay a towel out on the counter when you wash dishes and put them away when you're done. You're cluttering an already small area with a non-essential.

Ultimately; I think this or something like this depending on the dimensions would solve a lot of issues with this space...

You'd place it under the cabinets to the left of the window so it flows down and that whole wall is where things are and the table top can hold whatever small appliances you go with. Then you could get rid of the mission table and keep everything against the wall which gives you a lot more workable space.

PS: I'm not sure what country you're in, but those outlets against the wall on your sink should absolutely be GFIC. It's a code violation and super unsafe. I think code says any outlet within 3 feet of a water source needs to be GFCI and the one on the left wall literally over the sink is idiotic. I'd tie it off and cover that shit up if I were you.

u/Chiinori · 18 pointsr/CozyPlaces

It's this one from Amazon. It's pretty good quality for the price, but I wouldn't recommend this if you're tall, since your knees would hit the metal parts connecting the legs.

u/rockerfeller_1696 · 1 pointr/malelivingspace

Found the cart on Amazon if anyone's interested

u/d_ippy · 44 pointsr/makeuporganization

I prefer having things out in the open rather than in a drawer or hidden in cabinets.

edit: in case anyone is interested in this shelf : link

I have a tiny kitchen too and these items have helped immensely:

Whitmor Supreme Kitchen Bakers Rack, Wood & Chrome

Looks exactly like this bakers rack I bought

u/nycjv321 · 1 pointr/castiron

Yea it bothers me as well. The two on the right are https://www.amazon.com/AmazonBasics-Bakers-Rack-Wood-Chrome/dp/B073P1V6HR?. And the smaller one on the left is https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0014QS1XC/. I thought they discontinued the amazon basics one and bought this other one that has slightly different dimension.. :\

u/Doctah_Love · 14 pointsr/MealPrepSunday

I got the same one, I believe it’s on amazon. Edit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014QS1XC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_zQgWDbZ1C2KFQ

u/chalks777 · 2 pointsr/Cooking

I got this monster on January 2nd, 2014. I still have it and I still love it. It's not a cutting board, it's a cutting station. I can prep two or three veggies at once without running into space problems. Weighs a ton though, so moving it around might not be much fun.

u/somethingmysterious · 2 pointsr/funny

Maybe get your mom the right one instead of the cheaper one.

u/MalachiteHorns · 3 pointsr/malelivingspace

The kitchen rack I got here on Amazon, and the schematics are from PatentPrints.

u/bretstar · 0 pointsr/Flipping

Butcher block is pretty expensive, though I'm not sure if you could make a "knock off" or not. Here's one similar to the one in the post.

u/a_karenina · 1 pointr/Cooking

I bought this board for my SO for our anniversary and its beautiful. It was under $100 when I purchased it (although has gone up a tad, but may drop again, I would put a watch on it).

u/_TheOtherWoman_ · 2 pointsr/declutter

I have this bakers rack in my kitchen. I had the same problem as you. It now holds my mixer, crock pot, rice cooker and other kitchen items.

Because I'd kill for more counter/cabinet space. Also, something to make my kitchen pretty! :P
