For full on meal prep it can get costly, but glass containers are awesome.

There’s Pyrex/anchor ones: https://smile.amazon.com/Pyrex-Storage-4-Cup-Plastic-Containers/dp/B00I1VCFWQ

You can also get reusable silicone bags. Freeze like you usually would in ziplocks.

https://smile.amazon.com/Vegetable-Versatile-Preservation-Vegetables-SUQI/dp/B074DWFPDM

My cost effective solution for soups & stews or anything that comes out of the instant pot or slow cooker is mason jars with plastic lids. The glass can go straight in the microwave & the kids are easy to wash & label.

Also these labels are the best imo:

u/wineduptoy · 3 pointsr/winemaking

Hm. I work at a winery and every once in a while we get custom labels for people that say things like "Happy Holidays from the Smiths" etc. For 25 bottles, I would definitely recommend Etsy. There are lots of sellers.

Designing is a little harder. You can look around and see if there's an Etsy seller with a design you like? Most will customize. Paying anyone a design fee for 25 bottles seems like it wouldn't be worth it.

In a pinch, we've also printed our own with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Blank-Full-Sheet-Vinyl-Labels/dp/B01FKXOJOY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1468475384&sr=8-1&keywords=blank+wine+label
If you don't have a printer that will work, you can often bring your own paper to a print store and they'll do it.

Good luck!

u/Radioactive24 · 1 pointr/HBL

I use this. have been my go-to for over a year now.

Personally, a little more expensive than the Avery stuff, but way more durable and they look hella nicer. Comes off bottles very cleanly for reuse as well. Print it with a photo/laserjet printer.

Also, you can contact Neato directly about buying in bulk and they'll cut you a sweet price break, plus free shipping (although, not 2-day).

And waterproof (to a great degree).

u/default-gateway · 1 pointr/NFA

The only time I've gotten printed by LEO's was for some of my non-resident CCW's. Florida for example requires that the prints are taken by a LEO. The ATF don't give a shit. Like I said follow that link and the ATF will send you as many FP cards as you want for free. They even cover the shipping. Amazon has great ink pads, I'll link below. I can do 2 cards in about 10 min or so now and they come out better than when the LEO's do them. It's not rocket surgery.

I'm beginning to think it's getting too easy for me and I'll have a stamp collection in no time. I efiled a form 1 for a 22lr can I'm building and did my own prints this past saturday in the time it took me to go through 2 beers. Hopefully this one come back as fast as the last which was for an SBR, took 11 days from the day i sent my prints in to get the approval email. My credit card hates me now.

Happy happy joy joy

I'm getting a red velvet vibe from you. I don't know why.

Link but I would like to be surprised. :)

u/redem · 1 pointr/FulfillmentByAmazon

Amazon will label products for a fee, but they do so by scanning the existing product barcodes and matching that up to your inventory. Most products have one printed on the packaging.

There are a couple of size options for the printer label templates that Amazon provides. Simplest way is to see for yourself. Create a quick shipment, the labelling page is the third stage I believe. You can see at the bottom of the page the different sizes. These are all for standard A4 printers.

Something like this is the paper you need.

Not my product nor any client of mine. I don't sell on Amazon myself, I work for a company that sells support in selling on Amazon. I don't endorse the seller for the quality of the product or service, they're just the first that came up for me searching. In fact, the listing's a bit crap, clearly breaking multiple rules. Not important. It serves as a good example of the sort of paper you need. You need to match the paper to the template you want to use, so it all lines up properly.

u/mnbvcxz123 · 8 pointsr/SandersForPresident

This is fantastic. Buttons used to be a big thing back in the 60s and 70s, but have continued to kind of hang in there since at a lower level. Great way of showing support or starting conversations with curious strangers.

You can get button making machines for about $30, and the supplies come out to about a nickle a button. Seems like every Bernie campaign office, or homebound Bernie volunteer with a printer and some time, could get going on this.

u/scurviest · 5 pointsr/EDC

I received one in the mail a few days ago. It sounds from your questions like a poor match for you.

It holds 15 bills. 14 is actually getting snug. 8 membership/credit cards with two of them showing (I have costco and another membership card on the outsides). Access to bills is very similar to a money clip...it keeps the bills very neatly folded and you can pull them out without taking the wallet out of your pocket, but you take out the entire wad, peel off the bills you need, then put the rest back. Fold them small denominations on the outside just like you would with a clip.

This may be too much detail....

I carry two wallets. One with ID, insurance, a single CC, and a bit of cash, stays in my pocket unless absolutely necessary. The other is for things I use more often; membership cards, spending cash, ATM card, CC, and so on. The reason should be obvious. I use a CountyComm LA wallet for the first. Years ago I used a WITZ ID case for the second, but the latches kept breaking. I switched to a generic nylon wallet for the second and that worked for years but was bulky. I switched to two LA wallets but that didn't give enough capacity. The EZGO is more of a no-moving-parts version of the WITZ than a conventional wallet...which is what I want. It is probably not what most people want.

So far the only iffy part is that the insert claims the wallet floats then tells you to save the small square of foam sheet that was in the bil pocket because that's what will make if float. OK, yeah, technically I'll give it to you, but most people are going to lose the sheet so why bother claiming it?

u/RobertoCruzing · 1 pointr/FulfillmentByAmazon

Fee's. Learn to avoid fee's. If you plan on listing more than 40 items get the pro FBA seller account for $39.99 and get rid of that $1 fee per item.

Then get labels, I bought Avery knockoffs on amazon and print with a laser printer.30 labels per sheet and label the products yourself before sending them in. The only fee's you should incur are the commission fee, and 2x FBA fee's.

Some times you might need to place a suffocate warning sticker, or wrap an item and then I usually have FBA do the wrapping since I don't have the shrink wrap or plastic for that. I think you can print your own suffocate warning stickers but haven't looked into that yet.

Since you are doing FBA, I recommend you price based on Prime availability. I have priced most of my items based on Prime and have sold when there have been others with merchant fulfilled that were cheaper. People just want free shipping and 2 day from Prime.

Other than these basics and trying to post it before you buy in bulk suggestion is all I have!

u/raging_asshole · 6 pointsr/EDC

I have a similar situation. I'm required to carry 2 cards - one of them is an ID that must be visible and has a magnetic stripe that must be swiped regularly, and the other is RFID that I must wave by a sensor to open doors.

I use these hard plastic ID card holders. They have a built in ejector tab, so it's very easy to slide a card out with one hand if you need to swipe it. Combine it with a retractable carabiner like this and you're set. They also make retractable cords that clip directly onto your belt without the carabiner if that's a preferable option for you.

u/birdpants_istheword · 3 pointsr/suggestmeabook

What about an embosser? This is an interesting gift, but I imagine some people wouldn't like to mark up their books this way but other people may love the idea. Maybe some fancy bookends or a journal where she can record what she has read along with her notes on the books she is reading.

u/jackrats · 30 pointsr/whatisthisthing

It's a generic ticket.

You can go buy a roll of 2000 of them yourself.

They are often used for raffles and the like.

https://www.amazon.com/2000-Blue-Admit-Raffle-Tickets/dp/B0051PG2NS

There's no way to tell you where this came from, but it almost definitely did not come from an arcade or something as a prize ticket. Because you could simply buy a roll of these instead of earning them. A raffle is more controlled because they're only selling a couple hundred tickets typically and therefore the numbers used will only fall into a narrow range.

u/62westwallabystreet · 3 pointsr/AskCulinary

Leftover management is a huge challenge for me, so I did two things to make it easier. First, I use ONLY the 2 and 4 cup Ziploc Twist N' Lock containers. The lids are interchangeable, completely leakproof, and cheap enough that I don't care if some disappear. They also stack nicely in the fridge and cabinet, and are fine in the freezer, microwave, and dishwasher.

Second, every new container gets one of these labels made by Label Once. I used to use tape but it was a hassle. These are dishwasher proof, easy to write on and erase, and cheap. One set is plenty for almost everyone.

u/levidurham · 8 pointsr/cableadvice

Doing a job for <Major Department Store in every Mall> we used something like these: https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Label-Self-Laminating-Around-Cable-Labels/dp/B078XR72Y7

They are designed to use with a printer, but you can do marker. They're about 4"x2" with a white bit in the middle. They wrap around for custom fit and cover the written part of the label with the clear portion of the label.

So, conclusions, -0.5 for wanting to use a full-size printer, +1 for adhesion, +1 for protecting label surface.

u/rossumcapek · 1 pointr/tabletopgamedesign

Blank dice and stickers. You're going to change things.

Here's 50 blank dice for nine bucks:

https://www.amazon.com/Nakimo-Blank-White-Board-Teaching/dp/B00BAKWKP2

Here's a thousand half-inch round stickers you can print on for six bucks:

https://www.amazon.com/Round-Circle-Labels-White-Printer/dp/B0731Q24NT/

Fifteen bucks and you've got perfect tools for prototyping. Bonus: use colored pencils and you can revise as you playtest.

Ditto. I use a glue stick whenever I label a beer that I’m not intending to end up in an ice chest. It stays on well enough, and is easy and cheap.

If I do want to put it in an ice chest, I found a pretty decent set of print stickers on amazon that are water resistant. It’s a bit of a bitch, getting the images to line up with the stickers, but it’s an option. Edit: print stickers link - although now I’m seeing some other good looking options. It’s been a while since I’ve done this.

u/Addrax · 3 pointsr/FTC

This might sound like a stupid solution but trust me it works we used it last year.

Take and run your string thru a barge holder and attach the badge hold on the opposite side of the robot. The badge holder will take up the slack and you will not have to worry about it. I will see if i can get a picture of the system working tonight.

My local PD will print them for $10 each but this is much more convenient and of course cost effective

u/DorffMeister · 1 pointr/silhouettecutters

Oh I see. Well, you cannot really go more shallow than "1" I assume. After I cut, I can pull the page off of the bed and remove the stickers individually from the sheet. I believe it scores through the backing some but not enough for the whole sticker to fall out.

It may be a case of the media not being completely appropriate for your needs. I've been happy with

u/tigershadowclaw · 1 pointr/homelab

After this gets delivered (or maybe before), I would go ahead and terminate the office side of the cables you need to connect. That way you can connect the tone generator side to the cable then go find the other end in the bundle. Be aware that sometimes the tone receiver (the part with the metal tip) needs to almost be in contact with the wire in order to receive the signal depending on how long the run is and how cheaply made the tone generator is.

Also these ( https://www.amazon.com/Mr-Label-Self-Laminating-Around-Cable-Labels/dp/B078XR72Y7 ) or these ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01K6MJWLE ) should help to fix the problem for the future. Or just a regular label maker and some clear tape would work as well.

Back in the day, I used a cable label printer. It was invaluable when labeling 500+ patch cables at a time. You could program it, and have it auto increment, etc.. etc..

For home use, you probably won't want to spend the cash on a dedicated printer. You could get some labels like these, and print sideways on them. Repeat the text over and over down the label, cut it in half, and wrap one half around each end of the cable. Basically, the home gamer version of these.

As the guy who's responsible for the access control system on campus I can tell you that there are several reasons to require you to swipe in. One is to confirm that you are allowed to park there. Think intruder or terminated employee detection. Body count in case of fire, shooter or other emergency is another. We ask that the people monitoring the entrances, including parking, do a visual check on anyone entering. Zooming by the arm doesn't really allow them to do that.

You can print the FD-258 fingerprint form on some light cardstock (example-- you can find smaller packs in most arts & crafts sections of stores) and do your fingerprints yourself. There are instructions included with the form that tell you how to take your fingerprints.

I used an inkless pad (like this) to do mine and sent multiple sets just in case the prints weren't quite right. I included a cover letter along with my confirmation printout stating that I was only requesting one report and including extra sets of fingerprints for the aforementioned reason.

When i bartended, we all had a couple of these retractable lanyards attached to our belt loops. We'd attach a bottle opener to one, and on the other, we'd take the rubber tip off the mini brooms and attach them to the keyring. You could shove a lighter into the broomhole, and BOOM, retractable lighter for your smoking patrons. Of course, this was back when people could still smoke in bars.

I have a cutter so I made mine, but these have been used by others: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0731Q24NT/ref=nav_timeline_asin?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I do sharpie on the tag too, unless there is no tag. Then I use these labels.

I have moved from Avery Labels (their software is really good) to Neato labels. I have to cut them out after they are printed but holy shit do they look good.

See my PM, but the direct answer is the digital document of stickers in a PDF form. Any printing of the PDF you'd need to manually cut out. This is what I did and prefer. The wheels are the hardest part due to the curves, but as they are black on black with quality sticker vinyl paper it's not noticeable if they are not perfect circles. The goal as you say is to avoid the White part. There are 5 wheels on the sticker sheet themselves when you only need 4, so there is room for "error" both in cutting and application.

I recommend these to print the stickers on; Neato-Blank-Full-Sheet-Labels/dp/B01FKXOJOY on Amazon.

It's probably too late in your project for this, but you can always print alternatively so you can skip the seal step later. However, both of these make double sided figures problematic. This increases the costs, but might balance out some of the sealing costs.

Print to transparencies. (Of course, white is then an issue.) Example: https://www.amazon.com/3M-3700-Color-Laser-Transparency/dp/B00004TS5M

Print to water-resistant labels, and stick onto plastic. Example:
