Top Reddit comments about USB-to-USB Adapters:

u/HyperspaceAnomaly · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

It's pretty decent! I've had it for a good while and it came in very handy on my older build (it only had 2 USB 3.0 ports.) I use it a bit less now since I've now got 6 USB 3.0 ports which is sweet, but it's definitely handy to have. It's very well built too! The only gripes I have with the hub is that the cable is quite stiff and heavy (so it's quite durable,) but it can slide around on a smooth surface. The rubber feet on the bottom help, as well as the matte coating on the case which has some decent friction. Also the wee blue LED is shite. It doesn't light up at all (which for me is great but it's nice to know if it's working or not.)

I've looked through my order history on Amazon and found the link for you. Here you go, pal

u/lostformofvr · 1 pointr/oculus

Yes, i have each camera in an apposing corner?. bought 2 2meter cables extender in amazon for 10€ both https://www.amazon.es/gp/product/B00P0ES0QM/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1. For the 80% of the people that doesn't have more space than 10feetx10feet Rift+Touch are much cheaper for the same or even better experience. Touch are better than wand, better sound, better ergonomy, better perfomance (ATW and ASW), ...

u/tehaxeli · 1 pointr/flirone

Yes, it will works.

From Flir website:
"Micro USB Android Owners Have an Android device with micro-USB connector but want a USB-C device? Please be sure to add the Duttek Type C OTG Adapter, USB C Female to Micro USB Male OTG (On the Go), to your cart before purchasing. It can also be purchase from Amazon.com"

OTG cable

Search your model number and OTG or ref devices manual for info on whether it supports OTG. Most do these days. Then its plug and play, with a three to five dollar cord. Pretty rad.

u/MatNomis · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

In addition to the port cleaning suggestion, another thing that sometimes helps is to reverse the direction of the USB-C port, i.e. rotate it 180 degrees when plugging it in. One of the features of USB-C is that it is non-directional...fair enough...but I've seen mildly damaged or otherwise impaired cables that only work when plugged in one way and not the other. The one cable I have like that, I used a magic marker to put a "dot" on the working side, so that I know "which way is up".

Actually, in my case, this isn't a cable per se, but a USB-C to A adapter (this one). Which works ok, but only if I plug in the USB-C with a particular facing. The USB-C cable works fine on its own with the Switch in either direction. I haven't bothered buying a new adapter since it's such an edge case, so I just made the marker dots (metallic silver marker--easy to see on black) and deal with it.

u/luketabor · 1 pointr/headphones

E1 seems to be better used as a basic headphone amp from a clean source than a DAC, unless you're working with truly terrible onboard audio. I bought one years ago simply because my old phone's headphone output was insufficient volume to hear movie audio while on an airplane.

If you're looking for a decent cheap DAC, the Razer USB-C audio adapter is not a bad way to spend $20. You'll also need a USB-C female to USB male adapter to use it with a regular USB port.

u/airmantharp · 1 pointr/headphones

Going to try this one from Amazon, thanks for the help!

u/ExcelsiorDDZ · 1 pointr/nexus5x

I just picked up a pair of these - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0191FRCAA?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s02

I keep one in my wallet and one in the car. They work perfect!

And top comment is from Benson Leung with all the results he had for this item.

u/SirPinkBatman · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

I got a two pack of these

https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0191FRCAA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

based on Benson's review. Been working perfectly for weeks.

u/BleepBleepBeep · 1 pointr/CGPGrey

I've been happy with these cables for both Lightning and Micro USB, plus they're cheap to buy in bulk:
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/CAFELE-100-150cm-2-in-1-retractable-USB-fast-charging-Cable-8-pin-For-iPhone-5s/32778220798.html

You can then use these corded USB-C adaptors to make them into a cable that does everything: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0716QQZZH/ref=sr_1_1?th=1

u/Climax0 · 3 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

Simple just either get a USB C adapter like [this one for ex.] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LXAUUTG/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) (Doesn't have to be specifically this obv, any USB C adapter should be fine).

You could also use this USB Hub charging stand from Hori.

Both solutions will work for any USB devices that can be used on the Switch including the GC adapter.

u/ImKira · 1 pointr/GooglePixel

This is what I went with.

Travel Inspira Type C Hub Space Grey USB C HDMI and USB 3.0 Port and USB-C Charging Port for MacBook Pro 2016, Matebook, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072JC7RBB?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

&

USB-C to USB Adapter, USB Type C to USB Adapter, Syntech Female USB-C 3.1 Gen1 to USB-A 3.0 Male, Works with iPhone 8/X Fast Charge Cable, Laptops and Chargers with USB A Interface (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0749RCMJB?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Note: The audio doesn’t always work, but rebooting the phone generally solves the problem.

u/notlimahc · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

If all you want to do is use a USB headset in portable mode, you just need a USB-C to USB-A OTG(On The Go) adapter like this https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B00Y2GCB3M/

u/neeonline · 1 pointr/NintendoSwitch

Maybe... I think the dock is more than just an USB-C to HDMI. I think to use the console in TV Mode you'll need to charge it too.

Maybe something more like this: https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Inspira-Recharging-MacBook-Chromebook/dp/B01GKSPM0I/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1485813467&sr=8-3&keywords=macbook+pro+usb+c+hdmi

u/Ugreen_Official · 2 pointsr/oculus

Hi Dear, this is available on Amazon.CA>>https://www.amazon.ca/UGREEN-Extension-Extender-Playstation-Keyboard/dp/B00P0ES0QM/
But currently no big discount like in Amazon.US~~~~
Sorry.

u/trustinbacon · 4 pointsr/LogitechG

They have smaller ones like this. You can even tie it to the cable itself.

u/thephantomnaut · 1 pointr/ps2

Based on price and seeing very similar products, I assume it’s this. But yeah, that’s PS2 to PS3, not PS3/4 to PS2.

Since Brook did the reverse engineering themselves, their converter so far is the only one on the market.

u/oegl · 2 pointsr/shortwave

Do you have one of the charging tips, and is it a Micro USB plug? If so you can purchase a USB-C adapter tip that might work.

u/somerandomanalogyguy · 1 pointr/essential

The charger that came with the phone is also a USB PD charger, and this one would perform exactly the same. You could also get a pack of these adapters and use all your old phone chargers again, but it would take longer to charge:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0758P2VDP

u/0terminater0 · 1 pointr/oneplus

I use this for the type A to micro, and this for micro to C

u/billythornbobton · 1 pointr/razerphone

As long as it's the correct way round it should work. FWIW, I got these

u/SovereignRaver · 1 pointr/NoStupidQuestions

Here is the item I use, Amazon# B072BKWQGX.

Here is the link, if Reddit lets it work; https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072BKWQGX/ref=cm_sw_r_other_apa_cGg5BbM4P65AD

u/Bigsnake80 · 1 pointr/PlaystationClassic

And with that, analog sticks could work ? https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0174UBGNI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_roXmDbWMG7NSP
I have Dualshock psone and dualshock ps2 at home.

u/ihaxr · 7 pointsr/ProjectFi

You can get a USB A to C cable or USB Micro B to USB C adapters:

1.USB C Adapter, Micro USB To Type-c Gray

Final Price: $4.99

2.USB Type C Cable, USB-C Cable Gray

Link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0191E0NQQ

Code: T9LUVS3H ($5 off)

Final Price: $5.99

u/aeronomx · 1 pointr/buildapcsales

Benson has update most of his reviews too to reflect the Pixel phone. I bought mine when the Nexus 6p came out for $5.99 and it's been roughly over a year and the price on these 2 pc adapters have only risen one dollar.

u/MechaCoffeeBean · 1 pointr/buildapc

I was looking at the NZXT hue+ and I realised the mobo I want has no usb 2 front headers. This Lighting box requires to be connected vie usb2 header, or alternatively, through a regular port from outside, to interact with the software.
Does anyone know if I just use this adapter will it work the same? Or will it change too much and stop it being recognised. Thanks.

u/SupahSpankeh · 1 pointr/WindowsMR

I'm using a 2m ugreen.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00P0ES0QM/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Not sure this is what's causing tracking issues or the BT receiver being a further 2m away from the controllers.

u/syndre · 1 pointr/AdviceAnimals

i have a v20, type c. I bought a couple of extra cables, keep one in my coat, problem solved. Being able to charge from 10% to full in under an hour can't be beat (except swapping removable batteries)

also, these exist, snatch a few and never look back https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01J3GG82U

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/graphicscard

Um, I am unsure if it has a thunderbolt port. Isn't there an adapter such as a USB to Thunderbolt as to where a it will plug into my USB port and on the other end will be a thunderbolt port?

https://www.amazon.com/Syntech-Adapter-Compatible-Chargers-Interface/dp/B0749Q9Y4N/ref=sr_1_7?keywords=usb+3+to+usb+2+adapter&qid=1558255379&s=gateway&sr=8-7

u/Souloni · 2 pointsr/NintendoSwitch

https://www.amazon.com/Travel-Inspira-Recharging-MacBook-Chromebook/dp/B01GKSPM0I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1487743516&sr=8-2&keywords=usb-c+hub+and+charger

This is literally it. Take out the cost of the small form factor and add in all plastic housing similar to the Wii U docks and you have something that's in the 10's of dollars to manufacture. It's not on sale, that's just a gimmick for comparative value.

You think Nintendo gave up making money on proprietary chargers and the like without making it up elsewhere? They locked the ability to output to HDMI without their specific hardware even though you have adapters all over the place. If you want convenience you will pay for it, but Nintendo sure as hell won't.

u/arppacket · 3 pointsr/nexus5x

I assume you're looking for a cable to connect an old USB Type-A port to the phone's Type-C port. I have a bunch of micro-usb cables lying around everywhere I might need to connect my phone to a computer, so I bought these adapters instead.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0191FRCAA

Kept one at my desk, tossed the other in my bag. They work fine, and they don't look like they'll break anytime soon.
