I ran into the same exact issue this past month. This is the one I went with and it has been great. It’s been quiet and does what I need it to. I did switch my Xbox to energy saving mode though because third party ones can have issues with the instant on mode.

Honestly, $20 more to not have to take it apart might be worth it. Really get nervous opening things up and resoldering stuff.

There's a dedicated Kinect PC adapter kit. Find it on eBay or Amazon.

You should look into the Brook X One Adapter.
I plugged it into my XBox Elite Controller (Series 1) and use it wirelessly with my PS4, paddles and all. I can even switch it back to use on my PC fairly easily with a few button presses.

So I noticed the 58x weren't as loud as I wanted them to be when plugged into my elite with the stereo headset adapter so I did some searching and bought this $20 Neotek DAC someone suggested in this thread.

Does anyone have any experience with particular one or have any suggestions for xbox one if this flops?

You have an original Xbox One controller. If you want to use a standard 3.5mm headset you'll need one of these.

I like this guy, no issues that I've found. Every couple of months something will disconnect and I have to re-seat it, that's it.

If your xbox isnt under warranty, you can pick up a power brick here on amazon or $20 on ebay.

If you still have your Marvel Vs Capcom xb360 madcatz stick, you can just get this usb converter for PS4/PC (adds no lag) and keep that stick going.
