Ok. That's cool. I prefer solo trips myself. I have anxiety around crowds of people, too. Being stuck in a cattle-drive of people after a show is always hard for me, acid or not.
As for recommendations I recently bought a light machine from amazon that reproduces the reflected light from water. Very mellow and soothing. Link.. I use it every night to help get me to sleep and it looks amazing while tripping.
At the top of my musical recommendations would be your favorite band. Although you've perhaps worn them out the past couple of trips. After that it would be my favorite band; Phish. Their music paired with psychedelics is like peanut butter and chocolate; to me, at least. Pretty much any show from mid-late 90's will be amazing. Specifically New Years '93 or '95. On their Halloween dates they play a classic album in its entirety and those are always great (Beatles, Velvet Underground, Little Feet). Other bands that are good for tripping would be post-rock bands like Explosions in the Sky or This Will Destroy You. No lyrics just melodic instrumentation. I really like listening to Animal Collective on trips. Particularly the albums Feels and Merriweather Post Pavilion. Those guys make music that is pretty much designed for psychedelics. Very drippy and warped. Easily one of my favorite artists.
Do you have a laser pointer? There is special UV reflective paint that 'absorbs' the light and keeps it in the paint. Essentially it allows you to draw with lasers which blows my mind every time.
Silent, dark rooms are also extremely underrated.

I love the tapestries! As for lighting I think even just plain string / christmas lights would do a lot. I think I may honestly recommend just trying some of these first and then moving on to more if you aren't satisfied. You could probably get some good ones from stores for cheap if you're willing to get a little halloweeny. Otherwise, I just got a bunch from 1000bulbs which were super cheap. They probably aren't great quality, but they've lasted the 3 weeks I've had them pretty well. For strips I've been very satisfied with my $12 Walmart light strips. If you want something more I know a lot of people like projectors like this night sky one or this wave one that I think could both look pretty good there.

I would (and I still might).

But all it is, is: The F1, An 18650 battery, and This little guy.

It's not terribly bright (I'd rate it at ~300 lumens, just comparing it to my flashlights of similar output), but works great around the campsite and tent for an 'area' light. There are dozens of those strip lights from various Amazon sellers, and it'd be super simple to fully DIY by soldering a ($0.56) USB end onto some of the bulk strip.

My opus is also the BT-C100. It would probably help if I ever read the manual for it, and it's entirely possible that the proprietary Samsung charging cable was causing issues. I know it's not the charger, because it'll run the strip light just fine.

Oh well. I don't need the Opus for a powerbank now that I've got the F1!

In my experience those lighting things are kind of you get what you pay for ish, while LED's are a dime a dozen for sure.

this is the projector I have and it is very pixelated for your computer screen or movies but for milkdrop its perfect, it just has to be very dark.

But more like the other things your looking at I would suggest a UV LASER!! it instantly makes anything that glows in the dark, well glow or just your plain OG green laser if you can't be trusted with ultraviolet eye damaging power.

MOAR LASERS

I would suggest some glow in the dark pigment to mix with paint or glue for any and all places. Or you could paint a surface and draw on it with the UV laser.

My friend got this from his sister as a gift and left it at my house and, while kewl, I could buy much much much more mind blowing stuff for $100.

Look dude, what you really want for your dorm room, if you don't already have them, is christmas lights. Trust me on this, they're the best low lighting system out there. Alternatively, this ocean wave light thing is fucking rad. Lights off, that thing on, some great chill or psychadelic music, some friends, lie down and just stare at the ceiling. Have enough alcohol or weed in your system also helps the experience. Highly recommend either lights.

I can relate in that I enjoy buying for my little one more than I do for myself. That's why this ocean wave light projector would be perfect for you AND your girls! You can all enjoy this together while still technically being able to say you bought it for yourself :) Plus you'll have some extra left over, and the instructions do say "at least one thing for yourself" and if I remember correctly it should be enough for you to get some formula, too :)

I have a similar light, except it's little green laser dots that move all over the ceiling and bedroom walls. It also has a blue nebula-like light in the middle, really makes it feel like you're floating through space. Have used it every single night for years, it's awesome for falling asleep.

I remember when my girlfriend spent her first night at my place, she was totally amazed by it. Now she's my wife and we both can't sleep without it on anymore.

Hopefully that works.... it's basically a clip on LED strip that can be moved into most configurations that you would need. Two light levels (dim and bright) and two types of light (cold/warm) so good and relatively inexpensive. Would highly recommend!
