🎓 Reddit experts on disposable drinkware products
The comments and opinions expressed on this page are written exclusively by redditors. To provide you with the most relevant data, we sourced opinions from the most knowledgeable Reddit users based the total number of upvotes and downvotes received across comments on subreddits where disposable drinkware products are discussed. For your reference and for the sake of transparency, here are the specialists whose opinions mattered the most in our ranking.
There is nothing JustNo about being excited about having step-grand-kids (or almost step-grand-kids).
You want to make your home a place where the kids feel welcome. They will notice if it is a stuffy old ladies house where they had nothing to do except play on their phones and sit primly on the sofa. So now is the time to ask your DIL what they like to do. Tell her you are excited, and you want to make your home a place that they will look forward to visiting. She and her SO will appreciate that welcome attitude.
Depending on their age, they may actually want to just play on their phones. Do not comment on this, but do ask the kiddo what they like, if you let them chatter your ear off about what they like, they may love you forever.
Then pay close attention to age related stuff:
If young, a stool in the bathroom does a world of good - so do plastic cups and plates (unless daughter says she has this covered). My nieces know where my stools are and know where my dishes for them are, and they help themselves. I also childproof my electrical outlets because it helps mom and dad relax more when there are toddlers around.
Regardless of age, having some age appropriate entertainment helps. Options:
Respect nap times/quiet times if any. If the kids nap, find out in advance if it would be helpful to set up a quiet place in your house where they can have a kid rest, or if they feel kid will nap better at the hotel. Don't take the napping schedule or need for hotel personally. Do try to schedule food so that it doesn't interfere with naps. This was the biggest thing my family had to get used to when my siblings started having kids - our lives revolved around naps, or our lives were full of cranky unreasonable tots. Those are your options.
Don't give advice. I was just talking about this with my mom. We (your children's generation) live in the age of hyper information. We are inundated. It is at the tip of our fingers on our phones, and sometimes it is live-streamed into our phones. We spend our lives sorting through it to get the information we need. Which means, your advice, while well intention-ed, is just more of something we have too much of already. We love our parents and value them for who they are, not the advice or knowledge they have. So be secure in the fact that your daughter is taking this huge step, in bringing the kids home.
Finally, review your menu with your daughter. Check that you are making at least some food that the kid will eat. If this means that you need to include Kraft Macaroni & Cheese - then count yourself lucky and make sure you have it.
If for some reason they have to discipline a kid, don't over-ride them, and give them space. Essentially let them handle it, and act like it isn't your business. Then follow their cues for getting back to the conversation at hand.
Wow! you have gotten a Load of recipes!! LOL I will throw a couple more in there too...
this dressing is not too difficult but really nails it! she won the Chew grandma cook off with this recipe

None of us really like cranberry sauce too much but with this recipe I get asked to make it every year now
https://www.copymethat.com/r/jFBfbXx/cinnamon-apple-cranberry-sauce-aaron-mcc/
this one is really different! you can make it pretty spicy or mild and flavorful
https://www.copymethat.com/r/ZEhhHz7/cranberry-pineapple-relish/

https://www.copymethat.com/r/zJC7OEe/cranberry-waldorf-salad-from-ar/
these are really good too! I love these! I make these every chance I get throughout the year. (tip: make extra butter and bring with) they will go nuts over it.
https://www.copymethat.com/r/GAhbUo2/grilled-sweet-potatoes-with-orange-ginge/
I also get asked to make this every year. in place of the pie as you can see in the picture I have switched them up to parfaits. they last longer and I am able to make this a day or two early. I put them in parfait cups with the crumbled graham cracker crust in the inserts. this will keep it crispy and dry. if you make the pie the bottom crust is shot and soggy 24 hours later.
These are the type I get
https://www.amazon.com/Plastic-Parfait-Insert-3-piece-Dessert/dp/B01F5XK4ZM/
as you can see by the picture 1 recipe makes 7 (12oz.) parfait.

Respirator, I also try and work outside when possible. Resin has seriously messed up my lungs before I used a mask. Some people probably don't use them, but the things I make require me to be close to my pieces.
These are the items I use for resin, I make jewelry and cabochons. (My mask is different.)
I've read / heard that latex isn't supposed to be used as gloves as it can interact with the chemicals in the resin. You're more than likely able to find the sticks, gloves, and cups in your local area for cheaper, and you won't have to cover shipping. Dollar store cups should work.
I just realized your Amazon list is from the UK. All of the links I posted above are from the US so I'm not sure if everything is sold in your area.
Have you ever researched resin making on Youtube? There's TONS of UK Youtubers who make resin things that will post links to stores they purchase from and give great tips. I can post some if you'd like.
Of course as the previous commenter posted, you'll need to grab molds, which can be found pretty decently priced on eBay.
I haven't been using resin for a super long time (maybe a year?) so there might be more experiences people who can give better advice, but this is what I use and my experience.
Yesssss I want to second the paper straw hate. They feel awful in my mouth and they stop working so fast. Compostable straws are a way better alternative IMO! And I haven't tried wheat straws, but they seem like they would be much sturdier and easier to use too.
Bamboo straws look nice, but from my research they seem like they're intended for people to keep and use again, more like stainless steel. Which is great, but it could get pricey and kind of impractical.
Love it. Will definitely be having some cocktails with the new season.. Coffee, unfortunately, just probably isn't gonna work out in the evenings!
I like your drink concept. Full of themes! However, it's black.. Maybe you could call that one the black lodge? Red room could maybe be reserved for like a Negroni riff, or something bright red. It'd be cool to find some chevron paper straws somewhere..
Edit: found 'em! I knew Amazon would deliver! These would be so rad in a bright red cocktail.
It depends on what flavor of bubble tea you want and how much you want to make.
I personally became a fan of the fruity bubble teas. i.e: plum, grapefruit, yogurt green/black tea.
I ordered the syrups flavors that I liked online. You can find different syrup flavors here
You can purchase boba at local asian stores. I have not been in an asian grocery store that did not have it.
I then brew the strongest possible tea I can brew and chill it in the fridge. It's important to brew the tea as strong as you can because a small amount of syrup dilutes the tea flavor drastocally.
Once the tea is chilled, I pour 16 oz into a drink mixer I use my blender bottle. I then pour 1-2oz of syrup depending on the flavor and add half a tea spoon of honey, or sugar. You will have to play around with the amount of syrup and honey/sugar you add. I don't like my bubble teas too sweet. I shake the mixture for about 1 minute and (along with ice) pour it in a mason jar with a handle and use a reusable bubble tea straw.
If you want to add boba in your bubble tea:
Instead of pouring the mixture into a cup, I put the mixture in the fridge. I bring a pot of water to a rolling boil on a stove. I then reduce the heat to medium and add boba and stir until the boba floats. I cover the pot for 3 minutes and then turn off the heat and let the boba rest in the hot water for 3 minutes. If you don't like your boba too soft and chewy and want a firmer texture you can cook the boba for 2 minutes and let it rest in the hot water for 2 minutes.
Afterwards remove the boba from the hot water and chill it in cold water for 30 seconds. Then remove the boba from the cold water and mix it in simple syrup or honey. Alternatively, you can use a bubble tea syrup flavor (I have started to do this) to give your boba a different taste.
Add the boba to the cup you will use first, then ice, then remove the drink mixture from the fridge (give it an extra shake or two for good luck) and pour into the cup you will use.
Ahh yes forgot about all the people who would still be under 21. Totally makes sense. Ok here are random ideas, forgive all the links. I usually go crazy making a pinterest board with EVERY random idea I find and then I edit down.
*Or a football field backdrop. Also look around, there are a ton of options for photo props if you feel like that wouldn't scare him away. :)

I would also recommend investing in some long straws. I got some of these for my quadriplegic wife a few years ago and it has made a huge difference. Once set up with the straw in the drink she is good to go. Best to have something with a lid to help hold the straw in place though (she usually has the store put her drink in a reusable travel mug that she brings). Other size straws are available, but these have worked well and are cheap. It has made a world of difference for her going out and getting coffee with friends.
Thanks!
I got the straws from amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00W5W7M6Q/ref=pd_aw_fbt_79_img_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CJ5N4WWEJGPM9JBWY51D
Fair warning, they’re paper straws, so they get soggy and don’t work well pretty quickly. They look great in photos, though!
...sorry for being so annoying, but I have another question :x
I'm trying to gift a physical item but there is no "gifting" option. How might I gift it? Do I need to ask for their address?? The items in specific are

Thanks!
Buy these, ship them to your mailbox. Definitely the best way to buy cups if you use them regularly. Enjoy.
Took me forever to think of it...but these make it super easy to portion and store...and share! I warm the finished oil back up, then use a kitchen syringe (turkey baster works) to slurp it back up and make 1-ounce servings. If you ignore the very bottom layer and only draw from above it, you add one more level of purification in there, too. My oil sits on the counter for months without anything changing, while the rest of it chills in the freezer. If someone at work (in a cannafactory!) hurts themselves, I offer them an ounce of comfort easily, too.
Love the click just worry it might get in the way of gaming. I played my alps in quake and it does feel amazing im just worried blues might be too stiff so im considering buying a cheapy kailh blue keyboard like this and seeing how I fare before ordering a poker 2.
I don't even buy regular water bottles anymore. The Camelbak Eddy was the only one I tried, and it was good but I needed something bigger, that had or accommodated a straw, that would fit in my car's cupholder, and would keep drinks cold throughout the day and night.
I've gone through at least 20 vacuum bottles - in my cheapskatery, I became a collector - and the only two to stand the test of time are a 32oz and 68oz Aquatix. I've had them both for over 2 years now, and I've always felt that Hydroflasks are overpriced.
Lots of colors (for 32oz), very reasonably priced ($28 & $48), stays cold for 24hrs, and I suggest getting the silicone bottom sleeve for the 32oz. It didn't exist when I bought mine, and my bottle's dinged/scratched now. The 68oz definitely does NOT fit in a cupholder.
32oz: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TVO38F0/
68oz: https://www.amazon.com/Aquatix-Insulated-Stainless-thermos-Midnight/dp/B00UZCB3B8/
And these are the straws I bought for them, if you're interested. I stretched a straw out completely and cut it to size. When it's in the bottle, the cap seal compresses it upon closing - and it pops up again upon opening. Sometimes I have to fish the straw out of the spout, but I just use a pair of tweezers I keep in my pocket :D
I've never had good luck with the epoxy double sided syringes, the two sides have different viscosity and don't seem to come out evenly. ever since I switched to separate bottles and carefully measuring in mixing cups I've had much better luck with epoxy

But maybe that's just me? The double sided syringes seem really popular.
The design of the cups is 'Jazz'. And this cake looks like the cups...
the cups
But I do agree, I would call them 'Saved by the Bell' cups
I think you can get them at toy stores. I believe they are from novelty straw building sets, and are meant to help make a super long/complex straw
Like this
I prefer the cups with the little peel off section where you can write your name (like with your fingernail)
Those are a lot of fun, and people get to show off their artistic talent (or lack thereof at the Engineering parties I would go to >.<)
Congratulations. This is the universe telling you that your mustache is too long for drinking from a can. Might I recommend this.
I went to a local screening of a movie where MST3King it was encouraged. It was a lot of fun.
Oh Hi Mark
Also, You are tearing me apart, LIIIIISA

Nice backlit Perixx board with Cherry MX blues. $80
Much past that and you're getting into name brand mechanicals that are fantastic, but expensive. These are just some decent keyboards for their respective prices.

If you like crazy straws, you'd probably love these.
They make them.
Just sayin.... ;-)
<3
It's almost 3:00 here, so that's not far from 5:00 and I say you're good!
Pasta straws work really well. I recommend them.

Never make pudding shots. Especially with black spiced rum. That was an awful idea.
Oh also, these are great for parties: It's My Solo Cup. It's a Solo Cup that has a peel off area where you can use your fingernail to write your name on the cup. I can't tell you how many times I've either drank out of someone else's cup or run around the house looking for a Sharpie.
There's three different things

McDonalds wouldn't have to replace them ideally. People would be able to buy their own and keep them in the car of wherever they're most likely to need a straw.
You can get them for $1-3 per straw: 1, 2, 3

This will help you and is more eco friendly
Looks like one of those paper and wax solo cups

You mean Jazz cups?
Maybe next time you could do a creampie video and use this kind of straw to suck it out of your pussy.

Silly Straws?, or this kit still cute and little, but not a bottle or paci.
IDK what kind of jaw problems you have but maybe something from Stimtastic I have the Dulcimer, Cookie, Cloud, and Annular pendants. And they just got in one that looks like a DOUGHNUT.
