It is scientifically proven that people who have more birthdays live longer.

My favorite cake flavor is Funfetti, I had it when I was 8 (at my fav birthday party) and have had it every year since. My favorite ice cream is Dad's Rootbeer float ice cream and I also had it at my 8th birthday. All in all it was a very sugary and amazing birthday! My birthday is March 4th. My 8th was my favorite as it's when I first tried funfetti and and rootbeer float ice cream and it was the year I had my party at a gymnastics place and got to ride a zip line into the foam pits and had a giant trampoline!
Enjoy a derpy taylor swift pic!

For some strange reason, I never get the rainbow swords I keep asking for! http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002QNRGME/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=Y8Y3YW3B44M0&coliid=I1TU5S2SYDXZTU

  • I would use a combination of things. Hand claws to climb around stealthy, and throwing knives to perform an assassinate someone from a short distance.
  • Honestly, I'm not one to assassinate somebody, but when I play AC I like to get my targets from a distance. I usually throw a poison dart at one, and then eliminate any witnesses by hanging them with a rope dart. Part of being an assassin is stealth, and if you can do something without being seen you can get away easily. Throwing knives, darts, spikes are good if your aim is precise because they allow you to get somebody from a distance, usually short range. If you get somebody from above, your thrown object can gain more velocity, and you have a better shot at their vital points. So, really, the hand claws and knives have to go together.
  • Another method would be to use ricin powder. Breaking Bad taught me that its effects are cold like, and within a couple days the target is dead, and no trace is detected.

I've wanted to play Dishonored since I heard about it. Money has been tight, though, and I haven't been able to buy any video games.

Depends on what you're going for. If you want it to look like the comics, see KirbyW's comment. But if you want it to be 'realistic', I recommend something like this over a black turtleneck, with the proper blue (or red for current continuity, I guess) paint applied. For the pants, slim-fit cargos with shin guards, perhaps?

The mask is pretty easy, 'night mask', or if you want realism, maybe tactical goggles.

"Ninja" stuff might also be a nice touch (grappling hook, throwing knives etc.)

His traditional weapon is 2 eskrima sticks (buy a dowel rod from Hobby Lobby, cut it in half, paint), but collapsible batons could be an interesting alternative.

edit: added a link for goggles.

edit 2: added links for shin guards and knives.

If she's doing it for the self defense, tactical pen or Kubotan. If she's doing it for fitness and flexibility, foam roller or foam peanut. Some of the girls at my dojo use punching gloves so as not to bust their knuckles when we practice hard punching against medicine balls. If she wants to increase her power, wrist/ ankle weights (no more than 1 kilo per weight though). Hope this helps!

>You know what, you're right. Batman never gets to stop being Batman (except in Rises in Returns), so why should I get to stop obsessing over batman. I won't stop until I basically am Batman. Do they sell grappling hooks on amazon?

That's the spirit. And yes, yes they do. :o

Although if you really want to become like Batman you still have the whole parents thing to deal with probably. You need them to start a multi-billion dollar corporation and then frequently take them to really sketchy theatres. :o

This is clearly the best way to spend 19 bucks

You could look at something like a Kubotan for a measure of feeling more secure walking around, for at home I think a cricket bat under the bed.

Indeed, DO NOT trust this thing. I had this very hook two years back, and a friend and I went out climbing shit with it every once in a while. One night the metal of the hook (specifically, the threaded part at the top) SNAPPED IN HALF as I was climbing it. I was only ~3 feet above the ground at the time, so no harm done, but not everyone this happens to will be so lucky. I weighed ~140lb (63.5kg) at the time.

It's fairly obvious that it's crappy metal, anyways, because even as you're first using it you can see it bending out of shape after each climb.

Also, like others have noted, the rope is really slick and hard to grip; we used gloves we found that had a rough rubber coating on the inside so we could climb it.

If for some reason you do decide to get this, be very careful, and never ever expect it not to snap on you. The more expensive ones that shaggorama posted are worth the extra money.

Sorry for the bold caps, just trying to catch some eyes before anybody buys it.

EDIT: I can post a picture of the thing tonight if anybody is intersted. I still have it in my trunk.

More people with similar experiences with the thing on Amazon.

I wouldn't want to use something with nylon webbing on food-- it seems like a pain to clean. They're marketed as climbing claws anyway: http://www.amazon.com/Fury-Martial-Arts-Tekagi-Shuko-Climbing/dp/B001GQQ1BY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1405184167&sr=8-1&keywords=tiger+spikes

PS: that seems like an epic way of pulling pork...

That's what I thought too, but he's well aware of the fact that it's emtpy from the start and yesterday he bought this

u/jRoq66 · 13 pointsr/gaming

Did this make anyone else curious how much a grappling hook costs? More reasonable than I expected.

u/ignitionNOW · 1 pointr/geek

I may need a knife once or twice a year and not be able to find something else that will do the job. Not worth the pocket real estate, in my case.

I'd sooner carry around a pair of brass knuckles if I wanted to be a badass. Or perhaps, one of these

u/abfarrer · 4 pointsr/whatisthisthing

it's a weapon, I think, but i don't know the name. You hold it in your fist so that a punch will land with the two points first; you can jab with the pointed end as well.

here it is (or similar): https://www.amazon.com/Kubaton-Keyring-aluminum-Defense-Weapon/dp/B07897R473

u/ibelieveinharley1 · 2 pointsr/TwoXChromosomes

Kubotans and Maglites are good options too. Some countries don't allow firearms or knives, and mace/pepper spray aren't ideal in all weather conditions. (Source: a friend's mace blew up in her car in the middle of a hot summer day.)

u/Hariblanus · 1 pointr/Unexpected

I have this one. Clearly more of a gun, than a straw.

...and for those without climbing skills or any visa at all, may I introduce them to Amazon's $36

Steel Baton es lo mejor, son compactos y causan muchísimo daño, ademas de que da una distancia segura que evita ataques por arma blanca.

Este llavero es muy buen para cuando debes defenderte
