I don't really know a whole lot about socialism or communism, but I'm going to try to refute you just for fun.

  1. Incentive

So your first point claimed that people only clean their own house because they benefit from it, not because it benefits society as a whole (or some other reason). Moreover, you claim that no one really cares about cleanliness in public places, or at least no one wants to take responsibility for it.

Because I'm not really sure if you are critiquing socialism or communism (as they go back and forth between the two in OP's video), I'll just defend both.

In the case of socialism, your argument doesn't really apply: incentivization is a major part of socialism. In fact, it is essential to it. Under socialism, individuals are motivated to work because the more one works, the more one has access to resources. As Marx put it, to each according to his contribution.

Under communism, cleanliness is not really an issue. Marx claims that communism can only arise under sufficiently advanced technological conditions. Thus, it isn't a stretch to claim that these conditions include the ability to keep public (or private) places clean with little to no work.

Finally, it isn't true that the division of labor is eradicated under socialism. Remember, socialism is just like capitalism in terms of work conditions except one is rewarded for their work rather than some arbitrary wage drawn up by a CEO. In the case of communism, division of labor is outmoded because of sufficiently advanced technology.

  2. Automation

    >"Automation" is this magic wand that nowadays is often waved over all the shortcomings of socialism to make them disappear

This isn't really true. In some ways, socialism is the answer to technological shortcomings of capitalism. Whereas capitalist technological advancements can be driven by fads or trends, socialism promises a strict adherence to what is necessary. E.g. instead of encouraging engineers to develop a Digital 2-in-1 iPotty, they are encouraged to work only on stuff that matters (no, we don't need the iPotty). Given enough time of focused innovation, required labor would reduce, hastening the era of communism.

    >Ironically the degree of automation we are seeing today and on the horizon would never have occurred if Marx had his way.

Just so you're clear, Marx never really morally criticized capitalism.. Marx merely remarked upon patterns he noticed in capitalism. Thus, Marx is more a historian than a revolutionary. Similarly, Marx never encouraged revolution. He only claimed that revolution is inevitable and that it is in the interest of the proletariat.

  3. Regarding who will do the hard jobs

Again, the hard jobs argument shouldn't even really be an argument, and I don't really think OP's video really made a good refutation of it. I kind of addressed this earlier: in socialism, incentivization functions in a nearly identical fashion as it does in capitalism, the only difference being that it more directly incentivizes work rather than finding a boss who will you screw you the least.

Furthermore, the claim that work ethic today has decreased is unfounded (especially considering that you failed to provide any sources.) Even if your example of lazy rich kids is correct, this is just another strike against capitalism: under socialism, the economic chasm between rich and poor shrinks. Spoiled rich children is a symptom of the capitalist inclination for inequality.

For communism, the hard jobs are not those of physical labor (since these are minimized by technological innovation) but of philosophical antinomies, I claim. People will have to wrestle with the fundamental absurdity of their existence, the inevitability of death (although maybe we can prevent this with advances in medicine), and the indifference of the universe. But that's neither here nor there.

  4. Financial incentive as invention

I've already addressed this a bunch of times.

  5. "Stupidly efficient machines"

Unfortunately, I know nothing about this, but I think I understand the point that OP was trying to make. Basically, because capitalism emphasizes selling commodities for the highest price while paying workers the least amount, we get these strange anomalies where companies will actually produce less in order to make a profit. Under socialism and communism, the focus shifts from exploiting the proletariat to maximizing production for the least labor. Only then do these weird capitalist idiosyncrasies disappear.

  6. USSR and historical failures of communism:

    >They just were never able to get past the basic problem that summarizes most of the issues here: the economic calculation problem

There is no evidence for this. In fact, there's no evidence for this being an observable issue in any economy, ever. Mises, the economist who came up with the economic calculation problem, himself claimed that "its statements and propositions are not derived from experience. They are, like those of logic and mathematics, a priori. They are not subject to verification or falsification on the ground of experience and facts." Essentially, the problem is a purely theoretical one and is unscientific because it cannot be tested. Thus, the "problem" only indicates inaccuracies in the neoclassical economic model.

  7. "Just look at the progress we have made in capitalism alone."

    >the above statement... really does reflect the positive trend over time for our capitalist society to make things better for people at the bottom.

If you honestly believe capitalism helps the lower class, you are sorely misinformed. Read this and this for some quick statistics. It's really, really well documented that capitalism causes excessive economic inequality.

Your idea of implementing "capitalism-with-a-social-safety-net" is a step in the right direction. Access to food, medicine, homes, etc. should be available to everyone, if not for moral reasons then at least for economic reasons, as you yourself have suggested. But this doesn't solve the problem of inequality, it only allows it to persist, albeit in a less extreme state.

    >"under socialism the rich are poorer, but the poor are poorer too."

Under capitalism, the poor still get poorer. The rich get richer, but this is hardly a benefit. I don't really see how your statement really motivates any member of the proletariat to embrace capitalism.

  8. "Pressure" on the USSR from the outside:

    >The USSR was actively trying to incite communist revolutions throughout the world. They weren't an innocent bystander being bullied from the outside.

Honestly, it doesn't matter who bullied who. The fact of the matter is that there was international (and intranational) conflict for Russia at the time. This muddied the waters, making it hard to establish a truly socialist regime without fear of domination from other countries. Like OP said, there were world wars going on at the time. Russia had to make sacrifices, and ultimately they regressed ideologically.

People who actually know about socialism and communism, please correct where I am wrong. I only have a passing interest in Communism. I'm more of a Baudrillard fan than a Marx fan :)

Does he do the peeing thing at school? I don't have that kind of peeing equipment, so this is baffling to me.

Can you remove all distractions from the bathroom? No pictures on the wall, no magazines, nothing on the sink or counter? And if course not allow him to take anything in there with him.

Also, something like this might help him focus: Hacy Toilet Training Target for Boys. Mounted to The Ceiling to Stay Away from The Reach of Their Urination. It Doubles as a Night Light. Motion-Activated. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076P3GXG6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_1VZXCbAP8Q27K
I think it's adjustable, so just for funsies you could change the location of the target in the bowl if he starts losing interest.

Another idea would be to get something like this: Frog Potty Training Urinal for Boys Toilet with Funny Aiming Target - Green https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07D5FRBKX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_C2ZXCb6ZGRNES
I know it's kind of juvenile, but it actually makes me (briefly) wish I had the apparatus to pee in this because it looks fun! Make it fun, and we ADHDers can do anything!

If you decide to add rewards, remember we can't deal with delayed gratification. Don't have him collect tokens for a Lego set he gets in a month. Instead, each success means he gets a Lego brick. After it appears he's getting it, you could up the ante a little and say each successful day means 3 Lego bricks or something. After a while you could extend this to a week (get one baggie from the Lego set), and eventually a month (the whole set.) But do this only after it's clear it's a habit.

As an aside, Nature's Miracle is great for getting out pee (and other) smells. It's got an enzyme that actually dissolves the odors, rather than just covering them up with fragrance.

I recently went out and bought several types of trainers/potty pants so that I could compare them before I bought into one type. I'm at a similar point as you are where my little guy has been going on the potty for quite a while and doesn't 'produce' much in his diaper so the girl at the store said it's a perfect time to get him into trainers. Keep in mind that the whole point of the trainer is that the baby feels the wetness when they have an accident so be prepared for some spills. You could limit the spills by putting a diaper cover over the trainers.

Here are my fave in order:
Blueberry:
These are great when we're hanging out around the house. If he has an accident they tend not to leak right through. They have nice thickness to them, and I like to let him wear them without a waterproof cover. They have some great designs too so I let him run around the house in just these on hot days.

Bummis:
These potty pants are what they call an all-in-one...they have a waterproof cover so they'll hold leaks in better. I really like how streamlined these are and the inner fabrics are hemp and cotton.

Under the Nile: (http://www.amazon.com/Under-Nile-Organic-Training-Pants/dp/B00FU9H25M/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1404879318&sr=8-7&keywords=under+the+nile+training+pants)
These are almost like regular undies and at this point I find they leak too much for our needs. In the future I can see us using these more since they're adorable, very soft and organic cotton. They should have a waterproof cover over them but the Bummis Pull-On cover (http://www.amazon.com/Bummis-Diaper-Cover-Large-pounds/dp/B008PTZ170/ref=sr_1_1?s=baby-products&ie=UTF8&qid=1404879142&sr=1-1&keywords=bummis+pull+on+diaper+cover) feels very rubbery and I don't like to keep him in it all day.

Gerber:
These are in the same boat as the previous ones...they're just too thin for his needs right now BUT they're a great price and all cotton. I can see us using these a lot once he's better trained.

Just a note...the girl helping me at the store mentioned that even with the waterproof covers these are not really meant for naps or car rides. I would agree. I still put him in his regular diaper for those. When we're hanging around the house though I just make sure to put him on the potty after every meal and nap (or whenever he points) and on those days he has very few accidents.

Excuse the long post...hope it helps...and good luck!

I'm going through something kinda similar at the moment. My youngest son is three. My older two are 14 and 11. They pretty much potty trained themselves. Seriously. They were a breeze. I tried initially potty training the wee one after his first birthday. We just bought him his own potty and kept it in the spare bathroom and he'd sit on it and watch me use the bathroom.

Once he expressed interest at about 18 months, I bought him big boy underpants and let him roam. Well, here we are about 18 months later and hes finally getting it.

Whatever you do, don't force it. It makes things so much worse. Sure, diapers are expensive, but the more you push your little one, the longer it will take.

Try letting him free-ball it if you can. We got lucky. We have hardwood floors, so clean up is pretty easy. Yes, there will be accidents. Don't shame them. Just have him help you clean it up. There are consequences to having an accident. If he's still not getting it, give him a few weeks break and try again.
One thing that really helped us are those plastic underpants that go over cloth diapers, we use them over his underpants. It keeps everything contained in the event he has an accident at nap time. And avoid pull ups if you can. They're essentially just really expensive diapers.

Good luck!

Edit: we bought this toilet seat. He LOVES using the big boy toilet. It was a big of an investment, but its made it a lot easier.

works well for us as well. my 2.5 yr old is pretty excited to wake up and leave the room by himself when the light is green, so he's extra determined to sleep when it's red. we also tell him that he shouldn't get out of bed (floor is lava) when the light is on and when it's red. he may or may get out of bed, but we have his books in his room and the door closed, so we don't actually know. all we know is that he doesn't wake us all up until after 7am. extra bonus, gets my wife and i do do math every night in order to figure out when 7am would be.

we use this one if you were wondering: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CB9G7ZU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

super extra bonus, we even actually somehow managed to ween him off of co-sleeping by using a combination of persistence and the stoplight wake up clock. to be honest, still not exactly sure how we managed to do this, but we're not asking too many questions. now if only his younger sister would start sleeping through the night...

We haven't done the all inclusive international travel with baby, but we did spend a lot of time at the lake when he was that age. Our pediatrician said sunscreen was far better than a burn, and we really like the babyganics brand. We tried the think baby, but it really irritated our little guy's eyes for some reason. Maybe try whatever you buy before you go. We had bathing suits, long sleeved rash guards and hats with chin straps. Also, don't forget a good swim diaper and a plastic diaper cover (gerber brand is cheap on Amazon for a two pack http://www.amazon.com/Gerber-Plastic-Pants-Months-pairs/dp/B000KQ5MCU ) in case those are required for the pool. We use a reusable swim diaper by applecheeks http://www.amazon.com/AppleCheeks-Washable-Swim-Diaper-Mojito/dp/B007IVUQ94 because the disposable ones are really hard to find in the "small" size where we live.

Finally, we bought a sun blanket with spf built in by coolibar when our little guy was that small. It was useful as a breastfeeding cover or to cover him if he fell asleep on the boat. It might be worthwhile for you. I picked the cheapest color and got it for about $20. http://www.amazon.com/Coolibar-UPF-Baby-Sun-Blanket/dp/B0052OSHEU

Last bit of advice- we traveled by air with our kiddo twice around 4 months. If you are taking a car seat, and your car seat clicks into your stroller, take the stroller! It will be a luggage cart for all your stuff in the airport and they will let you gate check the stroller and car seat for free (most airlines, check with yours). I always wear my little guy in the airport but we always take the stroller too. It's a cup holder, a backpack holder, a high chair, and a place to put the baby down if you have to pee and your husband isn't around to hold the baby. Plus lugging a car seat is a nightmare without the stroller, and a breeze with it.

If you have questions at all, don't hesitate to ask. I got a ton of great tips from this sub that made our travel easy!

u/ElizabethLTCD · 1 pointr/clothdiaps

I'd purchase a few more than you actually use per day, because with potty training there will be accidents! Especially with one so young! So, if you're going through 5 diapers/day and you want Flip shells, I'd get at least 7 shells. That's in case of poop accidents, heavy pee accidents, and if you don't want to wash every single day.

When we potty trained our daughter, we used KangaCare Lil' Learnerz' training pants. They weren't as absorbent as a diaper, so we did get some accidents, but they were super easy to pull off/on. I bought 3 packs (6 total), plus a few more from other brands and that got us through 2-3 days. However, we didn't start potty training until 23 months. The xs and small sizes come with snaps on the side so it makes poop accidents a little more manageable!

For night time, it sounds like you've had trouble with accidents. You could try wool covers with your bamboo diaper. When you lanolize wool covers, they become waterproof and you probably won't have to deal with wet bedsheets as often. My favorite is EcoPosh. Learn to Cloth Diaper has step by step instructions with pictures on how to care for wool covers. Hope it helps!

Summer infant makes a great seat. Only $10 and basically a copy of the expensive baby bjorn seat. If you're looking for a potty insert I love the fisher price one. It has handles and best of all it has a back rest. My daughter (now 3) still uses the handles to poop and the back rest is great for nighttime potty visits when she is half asleep and flopped over.

Potty seat: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00A0ID90A/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474072228&sr=8-1&keywords=summer+infant+potty+seat&pi=SY200_QL40

Potty insert: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00F2MQ0K0/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1474072288&sr=8-1&keywords=fisher+price+potty+seat&pi=SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=419dxGU3w8L&ref=plSrch

Bonus is that they match in color.

My daughter just turned 3 and still occasionally uses the little potty (maybe 10% of the time). I don't let her poop in it anymore (cleaning it gets old), but pee is no big deal. She's been potty trained for a year.

We used the little potty exclusively for the first 6 months of her being trained. Then she started nursery school and saw the older girls use the big potty and she decided she was done with the little potty for the most part. Definitely needed it for training. We bought 2 to make training easier. We did the "Oh Crap! Potty Training" method, highly recommend.

u/crystalsmuse · 2 pointsr/Mommit

I bought what I felt was the best of both worlds. The My Size Potty. It looks like an adult potty, but is easy to clean, has a space for wipes in the "tank" and makes a flushing noise when you push the handle. My 16 month old loves it and wants to sit on it whenever I go potty.

u/HarleyQ · 5 pointsr/breakingmom

If you have a son they sell little jugs? They look like water bottles but they’re emergency urinals used for hiking or long car trips usually.

Depending on the style, if you got one more open like this one it could be used for a little girl with a bit of help.

This doesn’t help you as much tho! Lol but it could work for the kiddos.

Our Toddler camping packlist:
Foam pad
sleeping bag
favorite blankets
pillows
several plastic bags (for collected items that "must" be saved)
several books to read
lots of convenient snacks
depending on age: pack-n-play
all the warm clothes
big tent with two rooms inside
battery-operated lanterns (one on all night at extra low)
chamber pot/emergency potty station (the kids will want to go to the bathroom at night but not want to get out of the tent) https://www.amazon.com/Potette-potty-Training-Travel-Toilet/dp/B00NFZ35V8/ref=sr_1_6?crid=DLZ2GLPR4TQC&keywords=potette+plus+liner+refills&qid=1558453821&s=gateway&sprefix=potette%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-6
plastic plate/bowl/cup for each kid (color coded)
the handwashing station is an excellent call, I'd include a plastic tub with it
Almost forgot! Glowy stuff (glow sticks, leds, something) to give to the kids at night. They'll be excited, and you'll have a brightly-lit child that is easy to find at night

u/Feelsliketeenspirit · 1 pointr/IFParents

I've never done that!!! I don't go out that much so we've just been using the potty at home.

I have this one but it doesn't fit the long public toilet seats that well. I just happened to buy it months ago so that's what I had on hand. I think something like this would be better for public toilet use.

u/5six7eight · 26 pointsr/legaladvice

Re: things like sippy cups, be prepared to have to try a few different kinds. My 3 year old has never been able to drink out of a normal spout sippy cup, but if we got to the store she'll still ask to buy one because she likes the pattern on it. I feel like there is at least one other thing that might fit that mold but I can't figure out what it is right now.

Also, if you need to potty train, I highly recommend a potty ring or a toilet seat with a built in toddler seat instead of a potty. Much less messy. Plus with the rings you still have a whole lot of options so he can pick out his own.

Once we got the house training down, I just put pants on him and asked him every 15 mins if he needed. Also took a few changes of pants, trousers, socks and an extra pair of shoes when we were going far from the house.

I know this looks ridiculous, I laughed when my mum gave me it but its amazing. I have it clipped onto the buggy or in his bag and it's completely water tight. He loves using it and it's gotten us out of tight spots as he wouldn't just wee out at the park etc.

u/vibeee · 3 pointsr/InfertilityBabies

Well, we bought one of these few weeks ago.

It's quite big. I didn't realize they don't really make small, infant pottys here in US. Luckily K is in 75 percentile so he almost fits right. We let him sit on it and play with the past few days.

I heard him gearing up for poop two days ago and quickly undressed him and sat him on it but it didn't work. He tensed up and was 'done' pooping. He didn't really know what was going on.

Today in the morning same thing happened expect for I started reading books to him immediately and making poopy, grunting sounds and he pooped!!!

I'm quite happy with this! I know it's a lot of work but my goal is for him to be potty trained in 2-3 months!

Yeah, a lot of the reviews suck because they are written by random people. The good ones get upvoted to the top. There is also something called "vine voices" or something like that, where if you write awesome reviews for stuff on amazon, they will send you free products to get some reviews going.

Sometimes reviews are funny though, check these ones out.

He may not be connecting what he does in the bathtub to the potty seat because he's sitting on the potty and not standing in front of it.

I would encourage you to start using something like this in the bathtub with no water in it, then removing it to do the bath:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LQGY5VQ/ref=sxr_pa_click_within_right_2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_p=2329824862&pf_rd_r=531NTS5A9GCDYP1YSBPB&pd_rd_wg=JUdxC&pf_rd_s=desktop-rhs-carousels&pf_rd_t=301&pd_rd_w=6g8D9&pf_rd_i=potty%2Btraining&pd_rd_r=HVYHP0Y7RV8GD94VYWS0&th=1

Once his "aim" is on-point, move it out of the bathtub and let him practice outside the tub. He'll get better (and taller), and then graduate to putting steps in front of your regular toilet.

Basically: let him learn to do it in a way that protects your bathroom. But if he's interested in it, let him do it!

This is an awesome contest. Thank you so much for doing something like this.

I have a 2-1/2 year old who has autism and we are currently trying to potty train, but it has been sporadic at best because we don't have a potty seat and haven't had the funds to get one.

She is also obsessed with Mickey Mouse, so something like this might be enough motivation to get her going consistently. (I know it cuts close to the 25 limit, and I tried to find a cheaper one, but this was the only one that matched up to one of her current fixations!)

u/diffidentlyawesome · 5 pointsr/Parenting

Definitely do not scrub... if I'm desperate (only happened once while potty training) i will grab a huge wad to wipe the seat with or sometimes but I use long pieces of toilet paper to cover the seat.

Otherwise I usually bring with me her portable plastic toilet seat cover. Look into this dude. It was like 10 bucks, folds up and came with a plastic carrier. I'd get home and then sanitize it

It was the summer infant potty like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00A0ID90A/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1449435260&sr=8-1&pi=SY200_QL40&keywords=summer+infant+potty&dpPl=1&dpID=31zzkxr9WoL&ref=plSrch

Hope that formated okay, I'm on mobile. Anyway, once he could sit up his dad would put him in it before a shower. He discovered that when he grunted LO would push. This was maybe a week ago. He tried every time since and has been surprisingly successful!

They sell toddler urinals if you think it might get him interested?

The first one is the best, but there are a few other good ones too.

We had a little potty seat, but it ended up being this disgusting poop-covered thing getting thrown around the bathroom. We found this which was a lifesaver and we've used it for years.

We used this toilet look-a-like. and it was amazing. Our son trained super easy with this. We first tried with a more traditional squat type potty and he just wasn't interested. I think the fact that this one looks like a toilet made it easier for him to use. For awhile he would sit on it backwards, but eventually turned around. After a few months he was big enough to get on a real toilet without falling in.

My son is 4 and still doesn't pee standing up. He just scoots to the back of a toilet seat and that way nothing is spraying around.

Going potty out and about can be very trying. My son will never say he has to go potty, but you can tell when he has to go. Lots of crotch grabbing and hopping around. lol. Then you just take him in there and plop him on the seat. He'll get used to it. At first there was definitely some fear and crying, but your kid may handle it better. My son, in particular, was fearful of the loud flush industrial toilets often make. Also, you can always just take a trip to the bathroom even if he hasn't given any signals. Put him on the toilet and something will probably come out of him!

We bought this one, it looks just like a real toilet and even makes a flushing sound. My son hasnt shown any interest yet, but I'm hoping we get there soon!

My son is all about being just like us, so we got him a miniature toilet.

He doesn’t use it consistently yet, but he likes to sit on his potty when my husband or I use the toilet. He flushes when we do, then brings his stool over to the sink to wash his hands next to us.

u/Emceekai · 2 pointsr/Parenting

Had the same problem. We had to actively seek out a potty seat with the largest penis cover. Without it my son would pee over the lip every time and also get his pants all wet. We even sent one to daycare. It took about 6 months for him to be able to point down by himself consistently and not use his potty seat.

This seat was a winner and reasonable priced to buy a few:

We had those toy (but functional) potties in about every room. Like this: Summer Infant Lil' Loo Potty, White and Teal https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00A0ID90A/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_LahlzbZ3SVS0Y then, it doesn't matter if there's a bathroom on the same floor.

You can get potty seats that fold up fairly small. They are freaking amazing. I will look for a link now and edit when I find one

Edit: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B00076SL0I/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1504491688&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=folding+potty+seat&dpPl=1&dpID=51v2ZfqsnDL&ref=plSrch

They're also available at places like Walmart, but I dunno where you're located

u/Grave_Girl · 1 pointr/clothdiaps

Absolute cheapest would be to hit yard sales and buy receiving blankets for no more than about 75¢ each; a minimum of 3 dozen would be $27. Then add in some pull-on plastic pants (these from Gerber are just over $11 for four) or better yet buy a skein of Lion Brand Fishermen's Wool and crochet or knit yourself a few wool soakers. Oh, and get a dollar pack of diaper pins at Walmart. Flannel receiving blankets work really well as flats and are cute. Plastic pants have a bad rep but the only problem I've ever had with them is the annoying crinkling sound. Edit: T-shirts from yard sales would work great as well. Cut off just below the armpits, then cut at sides and you get two diapers from one shirt. They're stretchy and I know from experience that they are absorbent. If you can find them somewhere for $1/ea, then you could get 40 for $20.

Second-cheapest would definitely be Walmart's FST; I just bought a 10-pack for $7.88, so four of those would be just over $30. Add in the covers as before.

u/RedInkRiot · 2 pointsr/Parenting

Stoplight alarm clock. Best $40 I ever spent. It makes it like a game instead of trying to teach him to get up when the numbers match. We started using it when our daughter was about 2.5 and now she's 3.5 and only ever gets out when we set it to be green. (Red for sleep, green for get up).

u/hyeinkali · 4 pointsr/cringepics

Cause its basically an adult version on THIS.

Sorry guys, but I win.

u/Pickleodeon09 · 25 pointsr/Parenting

Invest in a small travel potty seat, something like this. The ones that come with a little carrying case make it slightly less-germy. Just spray it down occasionally with disinfectant.

https://www.amazon.com/Sesame-Street-Framed-Friends-Folding/dp/B00076SL0I/ref=sr_1_4_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1479755736&sr=8-4&keywords=FOLDING+POTTY+SEAT

Then she should be able to sit with pants around the knees/ankles and pee without issues. No need to strip her down. That's an accident waiting to happen, literally.

We have this we take some places, for emergencies:

Didn't have to do much, just stick his penis in and say hey go pee LOL.

The way it's designed is supposed to avoid it coming back out.

u/guydudeman · 0 pointsr/Parenting

Holy crap, I didn't even know that existed.

*edit: Holy. Shit.

Now I feel like a real shit, my 14 month old has an iPad! and a shiny new iPotty to go with it!
