I agree. The key is to be professional and courteous. Have a designated event organizer, respect other people, and clean up the best you can. Have everyone stay after it's over and clean up the area on ground.

When I play airsoft, we have a rule- leave the area cleaner than it was when we got there. Sure, there are BBs everywhere if it's outdoors, but we pick up all the trash even if it was there before we got there, and we leave the site with the trash bags, putting new ones in. Even if the trash bags were full already. A public park is not very different. Don't give them a reason to want you gone and they won't ask you to go.

Here's some that I found. They aren't the specific ones I used, but I imagine they're all pretty similar. Be warned though, they aren't very great as balloons. They pop and rip super easily so you can't overfill them, but they do always explode on whatever you through them at.

So it's a trade-off between quality/durability and effort of picking up the husks.

They really do take about a full week to break down on grass, more if it is dry, and less if it rains or if you run them over with a lawn mower.

Have them draw on the sidewalk or driveway with chalk! Non permanent, colorful, keeps them entertained, and gets their imagination going. To clean it up have a water balloon fight!

I'd suggest balloons but the eco hippie in me cringes at the thought of so many balloons going up into the air and then popping and falling back onto the earth. Maybe paper lanterns instead? They're biodegradable at least, and very pretty.

I just did a big water balloon party and it was fantastic! We got about 8 boxes of an off brand version of these from Ollie's bargain outlet for $4.99. after it was over, we paid the kids for however many pieces of balloons they could pick up, and they cleaned the place up and had fun competing on who could earn the most money. They also sell a biodegradable version, but I'm not sure if I trust that.

I don't know how widely available they are in stores, especially versus the regular kind, but it looks like biodegradable water balloons are now a thing.

This is an 8 piece set, but they sell small panels for a few bucks. Cut out the gps shape, stuff GPS in, slivers to fill gaps. Then use a waterballoon sling shot and a couple of friends to get it into the ocean.

Go for the direct impact or try to snag a branch with the string and shake it out. My quad was up in a tree for 2 weeks and I got it down in about an hour doing this.

I loaded the thing up, pulled it back as far as I could... I really wanted this thing to fly.. and let it go. It promptly remained in the launcher at the apex where it was supposed to fly away and rebounded and released it in my direction.

It hit my chest so hard I just sat there and cried for a while. It was in pain for days and the bruise lasted weeks.

Much later, I realized that if it had been eight or nine inches higher it would have changed my life forever.

The memory of that near miss still gives me shivers today.

I did a diy version where I 3d printed a adapter for the hose where I then put one of these water balloon faucet thingy obviously I had already used the balloons first!

We used to use these in neighborhood wide water balloon fights. They were banned in the neighborhood because we were putting holes in siding more than 200 yards away.

Honestly - I doubt the bullet came from a mile away as they are typically only effective for 400ish yards. But still it’s metal moving at high speeds and even water at low speeds can create havoc

Have you considered a water balloon launcher? You can make them out of surgical tubing and some canvas. Crap into a ziplock bag or a plastic bag. Here's one on amazon that can get 400 yards. Then you can shell those riot police with shitbombs from 400 yards!

practical range isn't the same as the ability to aim and fire at a moving target.
