I use the Razor Ripsaw. I hook it up to my computer then stream via StreamLabs OBS. This way you can get the overlays and other good features that streaming software provides. One note is that I do use this for an Xbox instead of PS4.

Headset wise, I use Logitch G633 super comfortable and nice mic. I have had zero problems with it. After a few tweeks in StreamLabs OBS it sounds really good for stream and others.

Camera - Logitech 1080p Most of the streamers I have asked use this camera. It is good and auto focuses well. I also have a green screen and use it to take out all of the background.

Let me know if you have any further questions!

>Reason I'm doing it is for general health. I have no idea how much internal fat/junk I have after all...and the diet is like a dream diet.

I've decided that I'll change things if I drop 3kg whilst on ketosis (for 3 weeks now, kick started with a 3 day water fast). I'm currently 66.7kg. My aim is to maintain weight (even a slight increase due to muscle would be fine) and eat enough to build a little muscle.

As far as nutrition ratios go I think I have it covered - just gotta make sure I get enough fat. I find hitting ~200g fat a day is not that easy!

I have noticed a number of benefits of going keto so far. Firstly dental plaque has reduced by like, 70%, maybe more. I feel more energy, focus. My sleep is better too, and means I sleep a little less. And eating food is just more fun. Previously I used to take 'pride' in my low fat, carby diet, pride in the discipline I have not to indulge in too much decadence. But it was boring as shit. NOW ALL THE MEAT AND BUTTERY VEG

I'm not a fan of supplements...I want to keep my nutrition intake food-based. I'm hope I'm getting plenty of that in my dark green veg, mushrooms, and I'm soon to be adding flaxseeds (which I haven't seen anyone here mention? This http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00A79AE4G/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE has crazily-keto nutrition ratios. and it's apparently a great source of magnesium, something often lacking in a keto diet right?). But you truly believe it's near impossible to get all the nutrients via food based keto diet? Any symptoms to look out for? I noticed on some days I get an intermittent dull pain (1/10 painfulness) in my kidney areas, and read that this was due to high blood acidity/not enough electrolytes. I tried to change things up a bit according to that, bought Lo-Salt, added more veg, and in the last few days I've been fine. Hopefully it's partially adaptation, I'll see. I read here (from darthluiggi) that it takes 8-12 weeks to adapt anyway.

Getting decent quality, especially in a desktop mic, is pretty much going to blow your budget right there.

I'd recommend getting a decent HD webcam with a decent mic built in like this, then save up and buy a good desktop microphone like something from Blue Microphones. Their Snowball iCE is good for straight voice recording, the regular Snowball is more versatile for recording more than one person or other audio.

If you're interested in recording vlogs for YouTube to gain viewers and subscribers for a channel, going cheap is only going to result in poor quality for both audio and video.

u/Raffles7683 · 61 pointsr/buildapc

Me again! Right, don't worry. That's overpriced and the ad is definitely misleading, but if you don't want the hassle of returning it or disputing it, there's room to upgrade it :)

Can you do us a huge favour and take a photo of the insides of the PC? If you can get a photo of the power supply and the various cables that come from it (or even just get a photo of the model number of the power supply), that would be great. It will like kind of like this.

u/CaptainNutzlos · 2 pointsr/pcmasterrace

This one's a bit more than £15, but it's really good for the price. Served me for 3 years now, still going strong and the picture quality is really good. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Creative-Labs-Live-Cam-Chat/dp/B0043VTBI4

Edit: Actually it's discounted on Amazon Germany right now, so you might be able to get it a bit cheaper: http://www.amazon.de/Creative-LIVE-USB-Webcam-integriertem-Mikrofon/dp/B0043VTBI4

Honestly this seems like a computer that I would use an AMD chip in. She isn't gaming so honestly its better here. I chose an 8 core processor which will be snappy if she is moving pictures around or what not. Also its pretty good for general purpose use. I chose a simple case nothing fancy and not too big. Has front usb 3.0 ports, and the card reader also has some. Since PCPP doesn't have those I added them as custom items and linked them. If you have any issues with that let me know. As far as monitors go I don't know. I would think that any 1080p monitor of decent size would be fine.

Here is a budget setup
1x HDMI Cable - https://amzn.com/B014I8TC4E
1x Logitech camera that will sit on top of your TV - https://amzn.com/B0040508OY
1x USB hub https://amzn.com/B00XMD7KPU that will plug into users PC
1x USB cable extension for Camera to USB hub - https://amzn.com/B00NH12O5I
1x Yeti microphone - https://amzn.com/B00N1YPXW2
1x USB Cable extension for Yeti microphone to USB hub - https://amzn.com/B00NH12O5I

Might have to get some stuff for cable management and get some cheap video adapters on Amazon, but this setup is like $300 max. Also, I would write up some good documentation and have it available in the room at all times. You will have to create some kind of documentation either way with any expensive solutions you find (Polycom trio, Logitech etc..).

u/KeeperOfTheLag · 2 pointsr/hardware

Maybe. 650w is the top limit, but your pc can use less. To know how much your pc (+monitor probably) use at peak you can use a wattmeter like this.

Actually I'm using this ups (480W) with this pc ( 600 W power supply ) and a 43" monitor. It can power them long enough to close all apps and safely shut down windows, but that is because my system is set to consume less than 480W and the ups deliver what it promises.

u/waharris007 · 1 pointr/Surface

There were only a few that I could find. A couple were expensive Logitech cameras, but I didn't want to spend that much. I ended up going with this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y2WLNFN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1. Windows Hello works great and it's a mediocre webcam. I've used it for work-related video calls, but I wouldn't really recommend it for that. If you think of it as a Hello camera first and a webcam-in-a-pinch second, you should be happy with it.

u/MirabellaHue · 1 pointr/SellerCircleStage

Logitech is definitely the best and as /u/minxhibitionist stated the C920 is industry standard. Here is a page comparing some Logitech cams.

A few more thoughts:

The Logitech C930 has just come out with mixed reviews, however it is fully integrated with Mac. (I currently use a C920 with Mac and you have no controls just plug and play, kind of lame).

If you want to go all out go with the Logitech BCC950. This is what professional physical studios and some work at home camgirls use. It has a remote with full zoom, pan, tilt, and other useful features.

In addition you may find that you have a personal preference. For instance a lot of girls like the Logitech 9000 because they believe the coloring shows up more flattering and hides flaws even though it's actually a discontinued not even 1080p HD model.

So it's really subjective there is no cut and dry answer - whatever suits your needs!

u/glitchw1tch · 2 pointsr/letsplay

The C920 was the higher priced one I had been looking at, but as I was researching I also found this which I've seen recommended, and has all the same features, just minus the autofocus, and at half the price.

And I'm working on lighting, but I'm saving that until I've got the space properly setup, though I suppose it's worth asking about here too.

I've got a fair amount of experience doing video production, but the last time I was doing it seriously, cameras still used tapes, so is there anything particular to webcams/digital video that changes how you'd put together a lighting setup, or is it pretty much the same as what you'd do with any other type of video recording?

Not to break your dreams; but they don't exist.

Anything under the £60 (C920 price), will be pretty bad quality. Even if it is advertised 720p it will most likely function very "noisey" so there'll be all kinds of color issues.

If you don't mind that you can look into something like a Creative Live cam HD this does have the noise issue. But once again for £30 you're not going to find much better. Also to keep 30fps with those cheaper webcams you'll need to have enough light to turn down the exposure, to keep a consistent high frame rate.

u/Colin42 · 4 pointsr/EDC

1 - Canadian pesos: great for censuring keys and exchanging for cheap goods.
2 - Kingston DataTraveler SE9 8GB USB 2.0
3 - Generic plastic cable stripper from idk where.
4 - Old 10 roentgen quartz pen dosimeter from (I think) Canadian forces surplus.
5 - Gerber 22-41830 EAB Pocket Knife
6 - Zebra Pen F-701
7 - Corsair 32GB voyager GO
8 - Olight i3E EOS EDC AAA LED Keychain Flashlight
9 - USB-C to Micro USB, One is in a 3d printed holder.
10 - Cheap but good sony headphones from bestbuy.

u/HungryLittleMen · 2 pointsr/Twitch

I can only speak from experience, but we've got this definitely very expensive one and it seems to work well enough with the webcam feed in the corner of our stream

If you can afford to drop a bit of cash, I've heard many people recommend the Logitech C920 but I can't really speak for it myself.

u/BlueSwordM · 3 pointsr/flashlight

I'd recommend the Olight i3E EOS for AAA at 90lms, close enough.

https://www.amazon.ca/gp/aw/d/B019GQQXVI/ref=mp_s_a_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1520037601&sr=8-11&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=lumintop

Another recommendation from Lumintop though, the Advanced Mini at 110lms.

For an AA sized light, you are out of luck if you are under 15$CA.

u/pmormr · 2 pointsr/DIY

I've used this before. Pretty decent quality plus easy to mount and hook up.

u/Mrcampercool · 2 pointsr/Persona5

These are the monitors I got and are really good with small bezels. It goes up to 1080p and 60Hz refresh rate with blue light technology to be easier on the eyes.

http://www.dropcam.com/ is the first that comes to mind, but only because I saw a link to it a while ago. They're $200 each; I'm sure there's a cheaper solution.

This one's $140. Didn't realize they'd all be so expensive.

Wait scratch that, Ausdom 1080P is a 12.0 MP for $23.

The Pro HD one is 2.0 MP for $30.00.

Both manual. I clearly need to research this option more lol.

u/Scanty_and_Kneesocks · 1 pointr/DnD

Me thinking about dropping >100 bucks on just a microphone. my empty wallet is crying rn

The conference speaker we got isn't like a traditional 'phone' conference speaker (oh lordy we have those at work and I'd rather die than try to play DND through that mess) it's a USB speaker that for all intents and purposes sounds and works great--its definitely no high end fancy thing but I definitely feel like I got more than my 50 dollars worth with its ease and quality and lack of echoing, which was our main problem with just computer speakers. link for the curious to what I specifically bought. and the wide lens cam too cuz why not

I mean hey if you can afford Yeti-level stuff more power to you, if I did streaming and whatnot I would def dish out that kinda cash, but when you only use it for DnD the middle-range quality stuff works snazzily too

Logitech webcam pro 9000 works for me nicely out of the box

You can find it on amazon for 50USD.

The only complain I have is you cannot, as far as I know, control certain features on GNU/Linux like zooming, but the most important feature for me (brightness control) I can control with v4l2-ctl -c exposure_auto=1 -c exposure_absolute=33 (change 33 to whatever you want).

Thank you dude. I'm English i live in London.

The constant quality of my videos changes from great to bad and back again which can be frustrating but that's down to a lack of time to edit everything perfectly and correctly, checking resolution/sound balancing/video quality/sound quality and so on.

I'm looking to possibly invest + upgrade my equipment soon.

Edit PS: u/TheTubStar

And as you have posted that you are overweight ... I personally recommend Dr. Greger/Nutritionfacts.org: a whole-food plant-based diet. I went from 75 to 60-65 without exercise over ~2 years. First went the meat and dairy. Then the fish and eggs. Then the added sugar and salt (I have no sugar bag or salt in my kitchen).

My go-to breakfast since ever: oats with stuff

  • rolled oats cooked in the microwave for ~3 mins, covered in plenty of soya milk (ASDA brand) 1 part oats, 2 parts soya milk minimum. Add more later to mix well the following dry ingredients ..

  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder (ceylon!) mixed well together = cocoa oats meal

  • put on one side of the bowl 1-2 tablespoon flaxseed milled

  • cover the other side of the bowel with 2-3 tablespoon dollops of Alpro Soya Yoghurt

  • 1 cut up apple, pear, banana, a handful of frozen berries (ASDA), add on top.

FWIW, under specs in this link: http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/thunder/thunder-600w/ the model number is RS-600-ACAB-D3. Obviously different model number.

According to this that model only has 1x 6+2 pin connector.

The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is this lumintop light, or maybe this Olight ie3 but neither have more memory or tail switch.

It is NOT the C922. It's also not the C922x, as was previously stated.

The C922x is item number: 960-001176 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LXCDPPK/

This webcam is item number: 960-001211 https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Stream-Streaming-Recording-960-001211/dp/B07661NX9M/

They look virtually identical from a feature standpoint (1080p@30fps/720p@60fps), but I haven't dug into it too deeply.

i have used Linksys wireless ip cameras to do this. Worked fine, even in 10 deg.F.
The field of view was narrow but enough to see the cars in my driveway and porch.
Night time low light performance was poor but I had my carriage lights on so that was not a problem. Image quality was pretty good. The only thing that was bothersome was the set up. If your wifi router is erratic then you will have to reconnect the ip cam to the router through an ethernet cable and reset it. But this was a rare occurrence.

Edit: This is what I have... see if you can buy one off of ebay or craigslist.

Here's one I would recommend I haven't completely checked the specs to see its compatible.

I ponder if this one is compatible for FOIP

This is the one I use. As it was designed for the previous Retinas, the thinness of the TB MBP's let you carry more stuff other than the computer itself.

What's the difference between these two? Shouldn't every Z270E have WiFi?

Hmm I think this is a good game to play. I would like to open this up to everyone and have them comment on the exact model of what I have in my picture. I'll edit my post with the confirmation and links of what everything is. Clues: look at old version of my battle stations

I'm just about to build my first PC. This is the motherboard I've chosen:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-1151-STRIX-Z270E-GAMING/dp/B01N0TEB9M/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1493933539&sr=8-1&keywords=asus+motherboard

However im a bit confused with what drivers I will need to install when I have finished the build. Obviously I need to get graphic card drivers which GeForce experience will sort, however on the asus driver website there are so many i'm getting a bit overwhelmed with what to install. Can someone give me a rundown or list of the drives I will need to install?
