(Part 3) Reddit mentions: The best accessories for men

Really wanted to share this as I am really happy I did it!


I haven’t been a very good godparent for my little nephews, I attended the usual ceremonies like baptism and first holy communion but as they are both old enough to read now I wanted to start to become involved in their prayer lives.


I heard someone mention years ago how they used to collect prayer cards and I thought as kids love to collect cards as a way of ordering things I decided to try this out.


I found out their favourite colours and ordered leather credit card holders from Amazon, the ones with the 20-25 clear sleeves inside so you can read both sides of an inserted card.


Now each time I go to confession I will pick up a couple of prayer cards (much cheaper from local church giftshops) and post them down with a holy card from the giftshop. Its really cheap to send something so lightweight and also helps me maintain contact with the little buggers as I normally forget all about them. Hopefully they will retain not just the prayer cards themselves but also my little holycards too and the short contact messages I include every 3-4 weeks.


Eventually I may run out but there are enough cards there for a good few years and by then I will have felt like I have contributed a lot more to their spiritual development than the nothing I probably would have done otherwise.

bought this one a couple weeks ago and love it. i'm over traditional wallets, i like to wear perfectly fitting clothes over baggies ones, so a bulky wallet is super uncomfortable and leaves an awkward bulge in my pocket. i fit 2 credit cards, 2 school cards, my real id and 2 fakes in this and i've had up to $260 in all 20's and it's been pretty thin so i fucking love it. plus the fakes fit into the side pocket so they're completely out of sight.

time to end boredom

Coolest/fun thing that took convincing: Water rides. I usually didn't enjoy getting wet, but after a few ventures at SeaWorld I loved water rides. Not to mention they're a good way to cool off in the summer~

So far it is the best minimalist wallet I've found that you can still put paper money inside of like a regular wallet. I'm not the type to publicly flash cash around like the other wallets require you to do.

Didnt cop this week but finally came in, I got Air Max 90 Moon Landing reps, and Supreme Red Air Force 1's. Was so excited got both of them in two days after waiting 3 weeks or so. I think he was actually describing this ones. I actually tried these myself, but they're clearly made for larger men. I'm 5'6 and 130 lbs. Even at the tightest adjustments I couldn't make these fit. I wish these came in sizes.

I use this one. It's pretty thin and I've been carrying around like 10 bills, like 8 cards or so, and a couple of bandaids and iodine pads to boot. It still has an empty card slot, too. The excess leather on folding wallets really does add all the bulk.

But one of the reasons I went with the nomatic was because it's elastic and has that multi-use pocket as well.

I use one of these, but I can't really speak for durability other than it hasn't started to wear down or crease or anything. It's a super slimmed down design with slots for 2 cards on each side, and a pinch-open fold in the middle for cash or whatever.

I use this front pocket wallet. It keeps my licence, credit/debit card and a few other cards in it. I also keep a few $20's just in case. But most stuff I purchase with my cash back credit card.

I don't like having anything bulky like a wallet in my back pockets.

I have a simple money clip I use in addition or sometimes in place of this if I know I'm going somewhere that I will use cash. If I use it instead of I take my drivers licence and credit card out and leave the rest of the wallet locked in the glove compartment.

It's really just a little sleeve for your cards. Gets a little hard to use with 4+ cards, but just right with 4 cards or less.

Hey guys, I'm looking at hats for the winter and really dig the Jeep cap and found this one and was wondering if I should buy this one or look around more. I'm also considering a beanie or toque maybe with a pom-pom on top or a wool watch cap like this thank you for any possible insight. Also just want to say my budget is $40 or less.

I refuse to move to anything other than a slim wallet/card holder (i.e. not a bifold/trifold), and after extensive searching have found this as the slim wallet holding the most cards while also having an ID window. 7 card slots, one middle slot, and the three "middle"/horizontal slots can fit two cards. It isn't the best quality, but it's $15 and, like I said, holds the most cards.

I've been in the same wallet searching abyss, for about 2 years. I was thinking I would go Belroy until I actually held one in Brooklyn. Not worth $90. I've walked away from my motorcycle with the key in the ignition before. You can get something like this to add to your key chain to make it more visible so you don't forget it.

This is a true minimalist wallet that is probably the best wallet I've ever owned. Had it a year now and no wear and tear at all. Costs 13 dollars and has a see through license pocket, and enough for 6-8 cards while still remaining thin enough to be in your front pocket.

I hate carrying cash but it has a middle pocket in case you do get any unexpectedly.

I think the other responses have posted plenty of alternatives, but here are a few additional ones:

That's the beauty of the trucker-style, hip-clip. Take a look at the photos on everano's Amazon Link, especially photo 5. One problem with regular suspenders is that as you bend, making your torso effectively shorter, they can loosen and slip off your shoulder. With these, there is no longer a "front" and "back". Both sides terminate to a strong plastic clip, one on each side. The soft elastic, combined with the way they're sewn together, keeps them flat against your torso and snug around your shoulders. When it's time to go #2, it's just "snap, snap" and drop trou. The suspenders stay on your shoulders and out of the way. I have to bend, crouch, reach and crawl at work and have never had a clip come loose, pants slip, or had any discomfort through the day. Seriously, man. $20 will change your life.

I'm a fan of the Exentri Wallet although the only downside is that there is no place to store your change.

If I'm stuck with only two front pockets, phone and wallet in left, keys and knife in right (or knife in waistband). I just have a thin wallet, so it fits fine in either pocket. Usually it goes phone lower left, wallet/keys upper left, gun upper right, multitool lower right. I never use the back pockets for much of anything, just feels weird.
