Hellas are great. But I have led light bars on the front of all my vehicles and I wanted the same effect but to keep the same look as the 4 Hellas. So I got 4 of these

Primelux 7-inch 12600 Lumens Off Road LED Driving Light - 28x5W Cree Spot Beam For Jeep Wrangler JK TJ Cherokee XJ GMC Ford Raptor - PC Lens Cover - W https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BHKB85X?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Their pricey but great quality and work Perfect.
The brightness is a billion times brighter than any halogen you could fit in a Hella. Not to mention the whiter the light the better. (for me at least)
These lights are retarded bright. Best purchase of led lights I've ever made.

u/MrHaVoC805 · 4 pointsr/f150

I've had this truck for a little over a month, and other than one weird issue that came up once I've loved everything about it except the old ass looking stock yellow halogen bulbs.

I did several hours of research, it seems like most people that wanted quality LED bulbs went with Diode Dynamics SL1s. Those were constantly out of stock so I kept searching for something else that could be a direct swap and still fit completely inside the headlight housing with the stock dust cover.

I ended up getting Morimoto 2 Stroke 2.0s for both Hi and Lo beams. I got some rando brand LED fog lights because I didn't care as much about something I'd only be using intermittently:

Fogs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CTMSWY2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_uxL5BbZKHPGYY

The Morimotos were $60 less than what Diode Dynamics is selling, they were in stock, same 3 year warranty, and they went in easily! I've had other LED bulbs in different cars and the fan noise was really noticeable, these things hardly make a sound in comparison to a lot of the fan cooled bulbs I've seen around.

I only installed these today but I drove around tonight and I'm pretty happy with their output, they're more than twice as bright as the stock lights and street legal with a good beam pattern that isn't pointing skyward and blinding other drivers. For anyone else looking to upgrade from the stock halogens, hopefully this post will save you some time and money!

These are what I added on mine. I already had 2 KC lights and wanted to mount 2 more on my bumper but didn't feel like blowing that much cash on lights. I bought these instead http://www.amazon.com/Rugged-Ridge-15207-51-Road-Light/dp/B0039H9LDS

Just as good!! Stone guards fit them and cover up the chrome so they match the KC's perfectly. Just as bright. Nobody was ever the wiser.

I had them for 3 years with no issues at all --sold my wrangler sadly--, finish even stayed good.

u/REVIGOR · 2 pointsr/Lightbar

On he left: OZ-USA

On the right: Auxbeam

They're almost the exact same thing except for the LED(s) and the optics. The brightness is about the same, but the one on the left is more focused so it can light up things farther away. The Auxbeam has a more neutral white tint (5000K) whereas the OZ has a noticeable blue tint (6500K).

You get better value with the OZ pods; Not only do you get a more focused beam, but it also comes with a wiring harness with waterproof connectors. If you care more about the color temperature get the Auxbeam pods.

Remarkable Power MZ733E-C 2014-2016 Mazda 3 Fog Lights Clear Lens Bumper Lamps Kit https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FL8DPWU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_6A7xzbWN36XM3

This is the kit. I wouldn't say it's OEM quality, and I can't give it a full review since I just got it yesterday, but it seems all good right now. The lights are nice and bright and worked right away. You'll also need the light control stalk that has the fog light switch, which is also plug and play.

This is the video I followed for the install.

u/McColorado · 2 pointsr/4x4

I bought those lights and they really had not much output. The lights I got after those were these: http://www.amazon.com/Tuff-LED-Lights-Square-Polaris/dp/B009ES619S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1373816310&sr=8-3&keywords=tuff+led+lights and they were really bright. But If you want a beam, these are really the best lights to get: http://www.amazon.com/HELLA-5750941-12-Volt-55-Watt-Halogen/dp/B001TWD5GY/ref=sr_1_1?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1373816353&sr=1-1&keywords=hella+500ff honestly, cheap lights like those navigators will NOT be worth it. These LED's or Hella's will be. I enjoy my hellas and those LED's enough that I will have 4 of the LED's and 4 of The Hellas just for night offroad use.

u/Lieutelant · 2 pointsr/Wrangler

I installed these 2 years ago.
Lantsun 4 Inch 60W CREE LED Fog... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CQ8ST1A?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I wouldn't call them plug and play, but I'm not a mechanic or electrician and I was still able to wire them up in a matter of minutes. They're super bright and very clear. Despite winter driving, puddle busting, and off roading that submerged them in mud, they've worked fine until just a few weeks ago. The halo effect still works on one light but the full light won't come on. However, I haven't had a chance to inspect it, so it's entirely possible it's just a loose wire.

u/AardvarksZoo · 2 pointsr/ToyotaTacoma

I put these in my 2019 SE a couple of months back. They look great, and the lamps seem well made. You'll like them better with aftermarket LEDs though.

So it is actually a 3 part ordeal.

The actual fog lights since my car didn't come with them, and the stalk. Then I did some c-shaped drl since I have leds in my high beams and the factory drl doesn't work with leds, but then the c-shaped drl didn't work for a little bit so I bought the drl turn signals, and then the previous c-shaped ones started working again. I will just post all of my mods below:

I had my rims done by a local company, they are the factory 16" painted gloss black. My mazda emblem is actually a long story, but essentially it is just scuffed up with sand paper ready to be painted but I liked the look and stuck it back on the way it is. I have also installed car play, and 3D printed a shift knob. The factory bose system was a little lacking and put a small under seat sub in to help fill the sound, but am still not happy with it, so that's a future project.

Some near future plans for the car include the aero kit, and I'll post the links to those here too:

it seems to have all good reviews, the ones from rock auto are pretty nice too, you also try to measure the opening and see if you could fit something like this, I have a 23 inch led bar between the fog lights and two square ones in my rear bumper, ill ask my sister to grab pictures for me as the truck is sitting at her house while i'm away.

u/Jeffah1996 · 1 pointr/subaruimpreza

Here is the link but I would strongly recommend that you put in your vehicle to check fitment before ordering them since yours is 15 years newer than mine haha.

I'm thinking you want something like this? (you can find those from Rigid for $150 on Amazon, make sure you get the "Spot" pattern, I don't think a flood would do too well for that environment).

The cheap knockoff version of which can be found All over Amazon, but I can't speak to their quality too much. Co-worker had a big knock-off bar on his jeep, and it seemed to function well, but the high-dollar ones that my rally team uses are much better (and way more expensive).

u/bbdrmmrkd · 1 pointr/battlewagon

Got them from Amazon at about $10 each. I have a ton of these lights and they work great. They are pretty durable and out of the 9 that I have, only one of them has had a single LED go out. So not bad at all!

u/grecy · 2 pointsr/overlanding

I have the Rigid Industries R2-46 LED Driving Lights, which are round.

I didn't want to run a light bar becuase it looks to space-age in West Africa.

These driving lights are seriously seriously bright. The first time I wired them up and tested them, I was pretty sure a friend in the next town over saw them!

u/GabeRealVA · 1 pointr/nissanfrontier

I bought it off Amazon but I do t see it anymore, I only see the housing with the lights ... AUTOSAVER88 Fog Light H11 12V 55W... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071JDWZ9X?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

Still not bad, just dont use the included switch with that, use the one from eBay, works like a charm

u/pussy_player · 1 pointr/fordranger

The fog lights have a mounting bracket that they are supposed to mount into, this is what I used when I put new lights in.

That mount about the crappiest thing ever. They work, but it is damn near impossible to get the bolts in and tightened down...

Good luck, you might want to consider just tossing the original fogs and putting a set of led pods under instead.

u/Debaucherizer · 1 pointr/Wrangler

Awesome.

Do you think I can get away with Xsprite LED fog lights? I know the build quality is not amazing, just don’t want to spend a fortune.

The reviews appear pretty stellar:

Yeah they replace the bulb. Got them off Amazon a year ago and they have worked great

Duck vortex is such an awesome name. I'm guessing it spins so fast that the curious ducks fly by to check on it and get sucked in by the vortex and drown in the pond, so then at the end of the day you just have to send your dog over and carry back a pile of dead ducks?

Also, here's some helpful duck insight: Why do ducks have flat feet? (To stomp out fires.)

Why do elephants have flat feet? (To stomp out burning ducks.)

Ok, real advice: You only want on/off control? Then you could buy a premade remote that operates a relay. I'm guessing the wiper motor runs on 12V, so find a remote that works with 12V. Like this one from Amazon. Make sure it's latching (one press on, one press off).

Then it's as simple as hooking your 12V battery to the remote receiver and running the power for the motor through the receiver's relay.

The hardest part will be figuring how to make a waterproof enclosure. If you buy a large airtight tupperware container and then use cable glands for any wires that come in and out, I think that will be good enough.

Edit: Crap, I forgot. Put fuses on both circuits.

I put these on the front of my truck. I have 2 in combination with a 10 inch light bar so I can use them as spot lights if needed. For the price they are very well built and nice and bright. They've had a few waves of muddy water and currently have a layer of ice frozen on them and turn right on no problem.

u/agroo · 2 pointsr/Wrangler

You can always add this inline with your ignition. Although most Jeep thefts are going to be from flatbedding, rather than hotwiring.

I have a couple of locked toolboxes in the back, and I wrapped some thick steel cables around the roll bars and locked them to the toolboxes. That seems to keep crackheads out of them, but I wouldn't call it high security.

u/MalignanceDefined · 0 pointsr/w123

There are no drop-in for the fog lights. But there are LED bulbs that work great.

@R3n3Larana here you go guys. Hopefully this is something you guys pick up, thinking about doing the same myself.

u/ratn9ne · 1 pointr/Jeep

The question is how directional do you need them to be? These will put out a ton of light and they are cheap, I've never seen one break either. http://smile.amazon.com/Gizmo-Light-Power-Tractor-Degree/dp/B007ZGBLNW/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1398453010&sr=1-2&keywords=led+spot+light BUT the light is all over the place.
