47.23. I feel pretty great today. I woke up feeling like shit but i'm having a good hair day and good skin day. Sorry, i'm not usually that in to myself but i'm feeling great. It was a beautiful day. I went for a long walk to the playground with my sister, niece and nephew. We walked over to my dads house, then I went to visit my boo at the hospital. In a few minutes, i'm leaving to go to a party. So, i've pretty much seen everyone I love today. That doesn't happen often. Oh, and I have a case of Shipyard Pumpkinhead that I got on the cheap since its seasonal. I also got one of my gifts in the mail today from a contest I won. Yey. I hope you have a BLAST with those jello shots tonight! :)

Hey r/watches! This is my concise collection of budget watches. I’ve been collecting for about a year now and have been having a great time with the hobby. As a student, I can’t really afford anything expensive, so I’ve been looking for budget pieces with good value. Here are my pieces:

Sea-Gull 1963 : Got this from Long Island Watch and it has been great. I initially had a problem with a pusher falling out, but I emailed Marc and he sent me a replacement right away. The customer service at Long Island Watch is phenomenal; Marc responded within a few hours of my email the day after Christmas. He even offered to upgrade me to the sapphire version, though I declined because I prefer the acrylic.

Nodus Trieste : This is a great diver from a new microbrand out of California. I got the STP 1-11 version, though the version with the Seiko movement is probably a better value. I love how this watch resembles the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms Bathyscaphe, but avoids being an homage. The unique umbrella hands are also a great touch. The watch runs well within the promised +/- 5 sec a day, losing about 5 sec per week. I haven’t seen any on this sub, so let me know if you want a review.

Seiko SNK807 : This was my first automatic and I honestly couldn’t be happier with it. The lack of hacking and handwinding is kind of a bummer, but for under $60 I can’t complain at all. I put a high dome on it and polished the bezel a little bit ago in order to keep things interesting.

The straps on the Nodus and the Seagull are from cheapestnatostraps.com. I really like the NATO on the Nodus, but I’d stay away from the leather NATOs. The strap on the Seiko is from Barton , and I 10/10 would recommend.

I think I may be confused, so please correct me---

You want the security and comfort of modern undies, and you're adding the bloomers to prevent chafing, but all the layers and climate are a concern?

My suggestion would be to wear the bloomers under your modern undies (which could feel really weird, I imagine, but would let you pull them down) - OR, if the bloomers are made like the link below, instead of an elastic waistband, would something tied be an option? You can untie them and drop with your undies?

If you want to get rid of the bloomers, thigh bandelettes are a thing. I've never worn them, but they have pretty good reviews on Amazon. (4 stars with over 4,000 reviews)

With all your layers and difficulty bending, a Bridal Buddy may be useful, but you may need a bridesmaid or friend to assist you with getting everything gathered up. (I can't bend much when wearing corsetry, but you may find it easier. :) )

At any rate, that's all I could think of with my grasp of the issue, your dress sounds absolutely beautiful, and I hope you find a solution that works!

edit: one of my links didn't insert properly. :)

I didn't have a c-section, but I studied to be a nurse and spent time in post-surgical rehab, know a few friends who have had a c-section, and my mom's best friend had something like 30-35 abdominal surgeries because her intestines are awful, so maybe some of these secondhand tips will help...

I let my friend borrow some foldover-waist lounge pants for her recovery. I think they were George brand sold at Walmart for $12. Wouldn't be surprised if the exact pants are no longer sold, but look for something in a super stretchy fabric that doesn't compress whatsoever. These hug very very gently. Favorite pants on earth!! I'm on the lookout for another pair, if I find some, I'll try and find your post and tell you where I saw more.

Have little stations set up in at least two places you expect to spend a lot of time. You could get something like one of the carts from IKEA or set up book shelves with lots of baskets lined up. Find somewhere to stock diapers, wipes, diaper cream, new onesies, at least 10 burp cloths, batteries (or chargers) for remotes to whatever TV or entertainment consoles you'll be using to keep yourself occupied, swaddle blankets, a throw blanket for you, a gallon ziploc bag full of granola bars, fruit snacks, single-serving bags of crackers, trail mix, whatever you want to keep your energy up. If you plan to breastfeed, plan to be ravenously hungry. The last thing you want is to have to get out of bed and walk down or up a flight of stairs to be able to feed yourself. My husband has a 100oz mug that he fills with ice water. The bonus to those is it's literally more water than I could drink in an entire day. If you're breastfeeding, you will need a fuckton of water and the 32oz mug the hospital sends you home with will likely need refilled 3-4 times a day. Plan ahead and get at least a 64oz mug if you know you're going to be down for hours at a time. Or if room temperature bottled water works better for you, cool. We actually had a mini-fridge that I was gonna move from the office to our bedroom or the nursery, but it ended up being kinda noisy, and I wouldn't want it right next to my bed. You could always get a cooler and reusable ice packs, and have your spouse swap those out every morning and fill it with bottled water, Gatorade, or whatever else, so you do have a way to keep drinks cool. I just know I got real sick of room temperature drinks real fast, and the mug the hospital sent home didn't work for keeping my drinks cold for extended periods of time.

Have extra parts on hand for your breast pump, if you're going to use one. Have formula if that's what you're going to use. Have 5+ bottles on hand if you're going to pump or formula feed. Plan for spit-up and projectile barf. Clean sheets, a stack of clean shirts and extra pants or dresses to change into, when it happens. It will happen.

Have any pain medications split into two bottles, maybe just ask for an extra one or dump an old prescription and rip off the label, so you can split your pain meds to each of your survival stations. Few things suck like knowing it's going to hurt like a bitch to get up, but it's gonna hurt worse if you don't, because you left your meds in another room, and you're stuck in a lose-lose situation.

Words from another friend about her c-section recovery... "It wasn't fun. Can't lay down, can't stand, can't really walk. I had to be lifted off the couch, help sitting down, help up the stairs, help into bed." It took a solid week with lots of drugs before she could move without someone helping her. "What hurt the most, for me, was the jiggling. This new flabby belly bouncing around was was killed the most. And our house has 3 floors, so going up and down those damn stairs was very painful. I would hold onto the railing and drag myself up." We talked about belly bands: "3 in 1 Postpartum Support - Recovery Belly/waist/pelvis Belt Shapewear (Nude) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T2WBJJ8/ref=cm_sw_r_fm_apa_9LWuyb9FP3Q3K This is the one I got. Lifesaver. I still wear it. It is great back support as well. Instant relief when I put it on. Only complaint is that it can be hard to wear and sit down without it riding up."

Will your husband be able to take off 7-10 days from work to be home with you? Do you have a sibling or parent or other close friend that can assist you if your husband can't take time off? Ask in advance for help. And not just "hold the baby so I can shower" help, but someone willing to do two loads of laundry because your baby has projectile vomited after multiple meals, and you need your clothes, their clothes, and your sheets cleaned.

I would also recommend keeping some hygiene items in your survival station. Deodorant, hair ties to pull your hair up, and maybe a travel size mouthwash. Lotion if you have dry skin. I avoid chapstick since I know it cakes layers of dead skin to my lips... you can use lanolin (nipple cream) as a lip balm, as well as coconut oil.

Have several options for entertainment. Adult coloring books and colored pencils, a bunch of apps on your phone to keep you entertained, maybe a Gameboy with a game you haven't played in 15 years, find a new YouTube channel with cool videos to queue up (may I recommend scishow?)

Do anything you can to have things within reach. If things need to be a few feet away, get a grabber. No shame. So many movements require your abdominal muscles, and you just don't comprehend how much your core muscles affect your entire body until you can't use them to even twist or pull something closer to you. You just avoid all movement possible for several days, and even going to the bathroom is exhausting and painful. Stool softeners were also a must with surgery recovery, a lot of pain meds will completely shut down your ability to poop.

Browse around and find some c-section recovery posts, I'm sure there are a bunch of super helpful tips and tricks that won't end up getting shared here!

And you will be ok. A common theme I saw was despair that the pain would never end. Especially with postpartum hormone crash, and exhaustion from no sleep, and having to be on a constant medication schedule so you don't feel like you're dying. Prepare yourself for possibly feeling doomed, and know that the pain goes away, and you learn your baby's cues, and you will sleep again, and everything will be fine. So many people focus so hard on preparing for the surgery and recovery that they forget that they also have to be a mom afterward, and that transition alone can be brutal. There are people who handle it just fine. I was not one of those people. I thought I would dive right in and just struggle with exhaustion, ya know? Told myself I could handle that. And I just didn't comprehend how things magnified each other... it wasn't just "sleep deprivation + breastfeeding pain + stitches and severely bruised tailbone + screaming baby" no, not for me. Change the plus signs to multiplication signs. The pain and exhaustion and crying was like torture for me. Have a plan for someone to call if it gets like that for you. A best friend, a neighbor, a parent, someone who can come be there to help you with short notice. They need to know that an SOS text means "I'm falling apart, I need you, are you able to come over?" I think that so often we read these birth stories on babybumps from moms 12-72 hours out from birth and they say their baby eats like a champ and it's so worth it, but then you don't see their posts on breastfeeding and beyondthebump when they feel like they're drowning, and we just get this false hope that if we can make it through birth, everything will be fine. Prepare for the worst, anything better is a tender mercy. It doesn't last forever, but it's really common and it can be really isolating. You will survive. Just know your limits and know who will be there for you if you need help.

Picked up a Casio Edifice EF-503D-1AV WW when it went on sale the other day. It didn't take me long to pull the trigger, considering this watch has been on my three watch grail list the past year or so (the other two are Omega Speedmaster and Railmaster). I know it's cheap for a grail watch, but this is honestly the most I've spent on a watch to-date. It's giving my beloved Citizen BM6400-00e a run for its money.

Picked up a different strap and clasp for my new watch as the metal bracelet is nice, but a good leather strap just sets this watch onto a new level. The metal bracelet is nice and heavy, but ultimately not my style. Really digging the deployment clasp. Might switch all of my casual watches to a deployment clasp.

Hope you guys enjoy this post as much as I enjoy this watch. Cheers!

u/tiffwilliams15 · 2 pointsr/ABraThatFits

FF is a UK size. It's 1 full cup bigger than an F. UK sizing goes D, DD, E, F, FF, G, GG and so on. I checked bratabase and the Deco has very wide wires. 34FF actually has the same volume as a 32G, but with a looser band. The Cleo Lucy is a good bra to start with if you are full on bottom. Also, unlined bras are much better when you are trying to nail down your best fit/size. It has medium wires. Amazon often has the Lucy on sale for a good price, right now the 34FF is about $31. You might want to try it in the 34F and 34FF.

I have this problem too but deodorant doesn’t work for me. Look up bandalettes or Monostat makes an anti-chafing cream that feels like baby powder. Those are my go to solutions. Both work beautifully for my thick thighs.

I'd say most non-OEM endlinks will not be a perfect fit because of the lug angle of the 104, but you may not need one. I think the watch would look good with a super engineer style bracelet.

The stock thick brown leather band that came with the 104 is pretty good, actually. The 104 is a "strap monster" basically any strap will look good on it.

edit: Found an old post with a 104 on a Super Engineer 2 bracelet.

I got the medium size. Tbh I’m not in loooovvveee. But it’s partly because I’ve gotten so spoiled with only carrying designer bags lol. I’m highly likely to keep it because I don’t have any bags that could be “trashed”. So this would be good to keep in the closet for a time that may arise when I’d like to bring along a bag that isn’t something I care about, as it’s super cheap too. 💁🏻‍♀️that and it is pretty unique. I’ve never seen anything similar in person!

u/FairyPoeline · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This is the cheapest item I have on my WL.

I love animal crossing, I have the old DS game and the one for the gamecube, I'd love to get the new one but I don;t have a 3DS. :P

I suggest /r/aww its pretty much the best thing ever.

Oh, and thanks for the contest!

u/Nixtrix · 1 pointr/Watches

Depends on what you want. Nato, Zulu, and Perlon straps are cheap, and the former two have leather variants that look pretty nice. The big catch to those styles is they are rather casual and not meant for dressing up. The leather ones though can pass in dressy situations if you want.

Other than that you have a variety of metal bands like engineer's, beads of rice, milenese/mesh, oyster, and jubilee to name a few prolific styles.

Then there is leather which comes in a number of exotic styles from alligator, crocodile, and caiman to chicken, ostrich, and stingray and the normal cow leather. With leather bands it would be in your best interest to invest in a deployment clasp to prolong the band's lifetime.

Those are a majority of your option when it comes to straps!

u/margalicious · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Welcome to RAoA! What's your favorite animal?

Dis my item. I'd like it as a gift my my younger sister, who wants to be a zookeeper. She just got a peacock, and I'm sure she'd love this!

Welcome again. Way to jump in with both feet!

u/krustykauli · 31 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

On a similar note, I am also as bra-free as possible, but find myself using silicon nude-colored pasties (something like this) when I really want to wear a certain shirt and it's not socially/professionally appropriate to show my nipples. Highly recommend!! None of the constraint and looks entirely like you're wearing a bra. Stick incredibly well. A+

u/lithium111 · 1 pointr/Watches

Tissot, Hamilton and Seiko are good choices for this price range. The Visodate is definitely a classic and I think it can be dressed down as well if necessary.

Something about the phrase mid-century vintage makes me think of a Zeppelin 7060-4 which is also a solid choice in your price range.

By the way kudos on knowing so well what you're looking for, doing so much of your own research and communicating it all so clearly. Also congrats on your upcoming wedding! :)

u/jspires · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

Cicely! So adorable!

here are some baby spoons! Because every baby needs them :)

And here is an awesome owl necklace for me!

So happy for you

u/venusprefers · 2 pointsr/Ultralight

My daily driver is a timex weekender chrono. Not exactly UL, but it's been reliable for several years and I like the way it looks. I replaced the strap with a woven perlon nato-style strap that's a lot lighter and more comfortable for hiking. The non-chrono version is lighter but I find the chronograph very useful in the backcountry for things like keep track of aquamira, steeping tea, tracking mileage/pace.

u/call_me_cthulhu_ · 2 pointsr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

herroooo. hope you had an excellent weekend.

im going to guess your favorite animal is a sloth because theyre adorable

this from your list because its adorable and its so perfect for spring and this from mine

u/runnin_round · 3 pointsr/streetwear

That's the classic, but if you want something more flashy you can go with this, which is what /u/DazlSquid was talking about. If you are an absolute legend you can go for the ultimate utility wristwear. Just make sure you don't have an allergy to the metal coating on the watch. I bought your model a few months ago (personal grail), and I absoultely love it, but I get a rash on my wrist when I wear it. I believe it has something to do with the nickel ions from the coating on the stainless steel. Good luck!

u/nicholas6706 · 1 pointr/AndroidWear

I use this https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01KD8JB7G/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482524966&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=22mm+leather+watch+band.
A bit pricey, but totally worth it. It was stiff at first, but it's really comfortable now. IMO leather looks the best on this watch. You don't want to go with some cheapo band that will break and destroy your ZenWatch.

If you really want rubber, I've heard good things about these https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B01ASOB8L2/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1482525093&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=22mm+watch+band&dpPl=1&dpID=51-c5yRfnnL&ref=plSrch but haven't used them personally.

u/vanillamode · 2 pointsr/Watches

if you want a chronograph in that price range, take a look at Timex. They have plenty of options, like the Weekender chronograph or the Expedition chronograph

If you are interested in a Seiko chronograph, one thing to be aware of is that the chronograph records the minutes on a 60min subdial, which is really tiny and hard to read, and kind of limits their usefulness past 59 seconds in my experience. Compare to the Timex chronograph, which records minutes on a much easier to read 30min subdial, with the trade-off that it can only record up to 30min.

a dive watch with a rotating bezel can also be used as a timer. Timex has some diver-styled watches like the Allied Coastline or Expedition Ranger, but they don't really have the water resistance to be true dive watches. You can look at the Casio Duro as well, which actually is a dive watch.

these so far are all quartz watches. if you are interested in a mechanical watch, your budget probably limits you to Seiko5 or Vostok, maybe Orient if you can stretch your budget a bit more

u/turdbogls · 1 pointr/Watchexchange

I have a brand new Casio Durio (MDV -106) I was going to list. I got a couple as a gift from work, already sold the first one, but still have one more.

for $50, I'll throw in a couple straps of your choice.

Clockwork synergy Gray Perlon nato - brand new

clockwork synergy steel blue perlon Nato - Pretty much new, worn 2 times. cut the 2nd strap off, so it's not really a NATO any more...but yeah. cool color, just not for me.

Black Barton leather quick release - used but good condition

dark brown Barton Leather quick release - used but good condition

Clockwork Black/gray stripe NATO with black hardware - used, 2nd strap cut off, and strap shortened to fit a 7.25" writs. it's basically a single layer slip through now.

I'll also throw in a cheap-ass, no-name watch. (head only as I have no 20mm straps)

here's the only pic I have, strap not included.

if you are interested, I'll grab a Pic of everything tonight and we can make this happen. I've sold a few watches here before but apparently no one has left feedback.

I'd say go with the cheap ones. In some things, such as shoes, spending more money can get you a pretty big quality increase. It's true that nice sunglasses are higher quality than cheap ones, but the increase in price doesn't reflect the increase in quality in my experience.

I've had this pair for over half a year now, and besides a lens popping out once (which I was able to snap back in), I haven't had any problems.

And the best thing about cheap sunglasses? You don't have to worry about losing them, dropping them isn't a problem, and you can have multiple different pairs such as in this situation. Just my 2 cents!

u/CluckMcDuck · 1 pointr/beyondthebump

i used this one about an hour a day from weeks 4-12: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T2WBJJ8/ref=asc_df_B00T2WBJJ85388490/

i liked it well enough. i had a REALLY strong core prior to baby, and it has returned pretty evenly. can't say if its genes, nutrition, or the girdle, but everything went back pretty nicely.

Hey everyone! I've got two main questionsthat have been bugging me today, so here goes:

  1. Which color of Thorogood 6" Moc Toe Boots is more versatile? I want to wear them with both lighter chions and dark wash jeans, and the two options seem to be tobacco, a light tan/brown, and a darker brown.

  2. Are these Ray-Ban Clubmasters legit? The lower price has me worried. I've read that Ray-Ban is now producing authentic sunglasses in China, but I just want to make sure I'm not spending 100 dollars on a cheaply built knockoff. I'm sure I'll be able to return them if that's the case, but it'd be nice to have some advance reasurrance. Thanks!
u/flyinhyphy · 9 pointsr/Watches

I've seen some weekenders on this sub and really liked its clean look. I was surprised to see on the amazon that you could buy them in various different straps, at many different prices. I chose this one as an homage to my alma mater. The indiglo is a nice touch.

Next up to purchase for me are either: the Casio gold calculator watch, the Casio gold world time watch (though I like the classic illuminator one as well, not to mention I'm torn between gold vs. stainless steel), or the Seagull 1963 . Also debating between the Casio MVD106 and a Seiko diver (so many options...).

u/Truant_Muse · 14 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

PSA for thigh chaffing: I'm personally not a fan of the bike shorts method they are hot, your underwear sometimes bunches under them, and you can often see a line from the waistline under dresses. I recently purchased these and they are great. I was very skeptical, but figured it was worth a try. I've worn them all day a couple of times now in pretty intense heat and humidity and they stay in place and do exactly what they say they will, I honestly forget I'm wearing them. I used their size chart and found it to be accurate, very happy with them and will buy again.

If you want to get this look with a properly fitting bra, I must say the Freya Deco did wonders for me! I have very large, pendulous breasts with what I consider an average root. The Deco keeps them lifted up and creates that rounded look on top without them touching.

I also recently purchased the Cleo Lilly and Cleo Lucy
, and they give me a great rounded look that isn't as intense.

u/dranarchy · 1 pointr/ABraThatFits

Geez, I didn't even know I was essentially buying the same bra over and over again. No wonder nothing was working. My ignorance of this topic is a little embarrassing! But you're all very sweet and helpful around here, so I'm going to pursue this li'l project. It would really take a surprising amount of stress off my life and add confidence if I could just get it straightened out.

Just to be clear, first try:

  1. Panache CLEO Lucy Balconnet Bra 5851
    and
  2. Panache Cleo Marcie Balconnet Bra (6831)
    in which size, exactly?
Also, which Freya unmoulded would you recommend?

It seems silly that there aren't companies cashing in on tapered torsos. To be honest, I didn't even know I had such a thing, but it explains why a LOT of clothes I try on fit weird! :P
u/advocat3 · 6 pointsr/frugalmalefashion

Going to take a small gamble here. These are a great deal but I'd honestly rather buy 10 pairs of these: http://www.amazon.com/Polarized-Classic-Wayfarer-Sunglasses-polarized/dp/B009CG871W/ref=lh_ni_t?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AC81J8VH6FY97

When you go out a ton the most common thing to lose is your sunglasses. Could be at the beach, at a house party, in a friend's car, at a show, etc. After losing multiple pairs of $150+ sunglasses, I just don't feel that it's worth it anymore.

Additionally, I've seen these wayfarers go as cheap as $3 a pair. That would get you 18 pairs for the same price as the ray-bans. Sure they're not authentic but when was the last time someone came up to you and asked if your sunglasses were? This is frugal male fashion is it not? Get the same look at a fraction of the price.

I wore some high waisted PJ pants and a nursing tank to the hospital. And slip on sneakers. They had me change into a hospital gown prior to getting ready for the surgery. For the actual procedure they pushed the gown way up on to my side of the drape. I'm not sure if wearing my.own gown would have been an option, it definitely would have gotten pretty bloody while recovering afterwards. I was basically laying in bed with a giant pad under me for the first few hours as after the procedure until I was allowed to get up and walk around.

I am also obsessed with this kind of eyeglass style. Another model similar style is called Ray-ban "Club master". I actually just bought mine on amazon for 90$ and it is genuine. This model costs about 180$ from ray-ban website.

To make sure the glasses are genuine, contact the seller an ask if they are genuine and where they get their glasses from. Genuine Ray Ban merchandise come directly from LUXOTTICA USA. Amazon is a professional website to buy merchandise, and they will hold reliability if they tell you false information. Good luck on your eyeglass search.

You can also look into rayban's club master classic as well.

Another alternative are these $5 ones which have been mentioned here before. Unlike the ones the OP linked to, these don't put a list price of $39.99 to make it look like you're getting a great deal.

Edit: Never owned polarized glasses before so found this video on how to test if it's polarized: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=59rfqDcRMgI

u/auf_der_autobahn · 2 pointsr/malefashionadvice

The Timex Weekender and Easy Reader are always recommended and always great for the price. Their case diameters are both under 40mm, which is good for smaller wrists. I don't know a whole lot about higher price points but the 35-39mm range is probably what you're after.

If you need an extra hole you can also just do it yourself. But if you don't feel comfortable then a watchmaker could definitely hook you up.

u/gennui · 3 pointsr/Watches

If your budget is less than 100, I'd recommend looking at quartz watches. My dad isn't as into watches, for him it's just a tool. So I wouldn't want him to deal with the downsides of a mechanical watch (i.e. inaccuracies over time, stops if not worn).

Maybe look at some timex weekender styles, they have a lot of interesting designs:

  • If you haven't already, please check your measurements according to the side bar. I can't emphasize this enough and if I sound rude about this I don't mean to, it's just important to finding a properly fitted bra of any type!
  • How backless are we talking? They make low back converter straps that hook up directly to your bra and depending on how the back of the dress looks that could be an option for you. Typically you wear them so that it hooks directly in the back, loops around your stomach and then hooks to the other side. You can also wear them in such a way that you hook it to the back, bring the wing forward, wrap it around your back, and then hook it up to the other wing (also brought forward). The low-back converter strap method would probably give you the most support, though if it is also a strapless dress I don't recommend using one of these with the "bring it forward first" method because I imagine that it would fall down.
  • Depending on your size the stick on backless bras may or may not work for you. There are a few different types of these, but keep in mind none of them will give you the same support as an actual bra (at least as far as the information I've gathered so far suggests). There's the silicone chicken cutlet type, the cloth chicken cutlet type, the underwire type, the U-plunge type, the disposable adhesive type, and then there's this type which encapsulates each breast, just to name a few. The problem with many of them (though not all of them) is that they label their sizes as "a-cup," "b-cup," "c-cup", etc. They assume that all a-cups (etc.) hold the same volume. This is completely inaccurate so trying to gauge your actual size is very difficult. Mostly you just have to buy it and try it multiple times until you find your size.
  • For example: I wear a UK 30G and in a Nubra Original I found the c-cup to be just slightly too large and I ended up going with a b-cup. Though I've also heard from someone else who was about the same size as me that the c-cup and even the d-cup was way too small for them. I think I might be shallow shaped and I don't believe the other person was so breast shape may be an issue when finding one that fits as well.
  • The Maidenform underwire one that I linked to does list sister sizes, so if you have been sized by the methods on the size bar and if a sister size is available then it could possibly fit. A possible fit issue I could see with these is that the wires could be too wide or too narrow depending. The very last adhesive bra that I listed to is probably the most accurate in terms of sizing, but from what I understand they aren't very low-cut if that is a concern.
  • Another option you could try if you aren't concerned about support in the least is to use nipple covers and fashion tape to keep the dress stuck down to your skin.

Having gotten through saying all of that, if you have been sized by the methods used here in r/abrathatfits and you end up getting one of these bras, I am currently working on collecting data in a survey so that a more accurate sizing guide could be created. Please fill it out and let us know how it goes for you, but again, only if you've been sized by our methods (and again if my repetitive nature about this is coming off as rude it's not intended to be - I just want to get the most accurate information out there for other people). And if anyone else is reading this, the survey is still going on. I've only had 2 responses to it so far.

One of cheapest bra in your size range that is halfway decent is the Goddess Keira. It sells for around 40 USD on amazon. Amazon does free returns and I've also seen the Keira go on sale for less. Goddess uses US sizing, order a 34K.

They also currently have the Panache Tango II Balc. on sale in beige for 34 USD. Order your UK size of 34H.

The Cleo Marcie is on sale for 50% off at 28 USD. Again, order your UK size of 34H.

EDIT: Cleo Lucy is also on sale for 35 USD.

u/islandbug · 6 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Based on the pictures, 30E/F seems too small. I think your original measurements of 30FF/G sound about right. And I'm actually leaning more towards 30G since I'm 28FF and you seem more than one size bigger than me. Don't worry, it's not as huge as it seems! There was a survey done on this subreddit where we found out that 30F is about average.

As far as brands go, if you really think you're full-on-bottom, Cleo Lucy is a good starting bra.

u/i_live_in_your_attic · 4 pointsr/malefashionadvice

Have you tried clubmasters? I love mine - most of the reason I got them was because I wanted something other than ubiquitous wayfarers.

u/Rouknette · 20 pointsr/ABraThatFits

Get nipple covers. They are simple and usually pretty cheap and will act as a barrier between you and the elements. I don't know if you're particularly hairy but if you are I do suggest removing the hair around your nipples as they usually attach with a mild adhesive and that doesn't bode well for fuzzy people. You could probably wear a bra but it would need to be pretty padded and fit flush against your skin to lessen the irritation. If possible let them heal first if there is any visible chafing/bleeding.

Here are some cheap silicone ones on Amazon; they're only 2.99.

I'm trying to decide on a Timex Weekender to be paired mainly with casual/denim clothing. The more versatile, the better. It appears the main things to decide on are 1. case size (40mm or 38mm), 2. face style (chronograph or standard), 3. face color, and 4. strap color. Below are a few of the options I've been looking at; I'm open to other ideas also.

The sausage feels are real! I bought these leggings from Amazon to try to eek out my time. The relaxin is really working on my body.

This please

I just keep telling myself how much I want the item. In my case I am starting to save for a nexus 7 tablet. I'm gonna say you are saving for a Kindle.

u/sparkleriot · 2 pointsr/TrollXChromosomes

Amazon! I'm on the smaller end of plus size and these work for me. These look like a decent buy too, and are labeled as plus-size.

Thumbs up to the people recommending Wal-mart too though, because I'm not sure if Amazon.ca has the same leggings selection as the US site and I'm gonna need more 'cuz it's supposed to get coooold here.

u/lilith4507 · 2 pointsr/Septemberbumpers2017

Oh, I have a three-piece binder on my amazon wish list to buy later on this summer . . . this one

u/TimYoung · 2 pointsr/Watches

My first watch was a Casio with a calculator. Love that watch. Might even buy that again just for old times sake.

Now comes in gold version or you can get him a classic $10 Casio cos you know he would probably break it or lose it.

Actually what am I talking about. Don't 11 years kids now a days want you to buy them an Iphone and Ipads?

u/undothewinnings · 2 pointsr/frugalmalefashion

Amazon actually sells some of the CLubmasters for a decent price. Notably a pair like this would be only about $95. Link

If you're interested in practical things, consider a watch, or a quality belt (wallets are good too but you already said that haha)

u/KTcube · 2 pointsr/genderqueer

If you're comfortable not having tight fabric to keep your boobs in place, but you're concerned about showing nipples, there are reusable silicone things that stick to the nipples and keep them smooth. This way, you have the appearance of not showing your nipples, and the protection of your nipples from fabric rubbing them, and none of the wires and straps that bras have. like this

Of course with those sticky things, your boobs will still be able to move, but maybe they'll look more "professional". I think that your breasts are going to move unless you wear something very tight to keep them in place, which is going to basically be a bra or a binder. (maybe by another name. But you'll end up with a strap around your ribs and straps over your shoulders, or just an overall super-tight top anytime you're trying to keep your boobs in place. Loose fitting tops are not going to prevent your fat from jiggling no matter what.)

u/armadillocake · 1 pointr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Gap has cotton bralettes that are sort of like 1/2 a tank top with the shelf bra in it. Just go to their website and search bralette and they'll pop right up. For me these are just enough to keep perky nips at bay.

If you're still concerned about showing too much maybe try silicone nipple petals. Like these: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00428ZHRC?pc_redir=1410942488&robot_redir=1

Sorry for the full link, on mobile.

I use Lamshaw for my screen protector and having no issues so far, broke one already and no scratch on my watch.

I also bought Barton band but not the elite and like it as a change from the metal band.

Honestly it depends on your attire and your straps. I feel like the white face would look nicer with some other nato straps I have. Though, the cream does add that old watch sort of look to it, kind of vintage ish and I love that type of look. They're not too distinct from each other. Like wearing this on my wrist I wouldn't know it was cream unless I held a flashlight up to it and compared it to a white shirt.

This is the exact cream face I bought, I don't recommend buying this exact one. The whole item shows a leather strap that seems to look nice (which is the whole reason I got this one) but it's actually synthetic leather and it feels very thin and cheap. After wear and tear of only just a month or less actually the strap tends to stretch and you'll have to move it a hole tighter. It does look nice the instant you get it, but it does not last. Buy another weekender with a different strap because that one is just bad quality overall. Ill take some pictures in a little bit with the strap on a black face I use it on occasionally.

u/minchomexa · 1 pointr/Watchexchange

Thanks for the input (instead of downvotes!) here are the links for all the straps included: strap 1 strap 2 strap 3 bracelet I really think those go really well with the watch and this is my only 20mm lug watch. (i recently sold all my 20mm natos) should i split them? pick one strap only with lower price? shoot me an offer instead of downvotes dudes, three fiddy?

Further down in the XDA thread are more pictures of the SE II band in action

Forgot to mention, you'd need to remove the tab in the watch body, or dremel a notch in the band...

u/Preston205 · 1 pointr/Watches

A weekender chronograph? Timex is pretty hard to beat for cheap quartz chronographs.

A completely different option is nipple covers. They do help minimize nipples being pointy.

u/Ibioc · 3 pointsr/malefashionadvice

I believe the Correct answer is either 18mm or 20mm should fit, they come from the factory both ways.

Here is a 20mm Weekender

Here's one that comes with a 18mm strap

u/Thatonesillyfucker · 1 pointr/pcmasterrace

I can vouch for this as being a high quality leather strap if you're into those. Would also recommend checking out the accompanying buckles to match your watch casing or just go for something other than the silver the band comes with.

On a slightly more positive note, can somebody help me pick a strap for this watch? I'm thinking dark brown leather but I don't know a thing about watches so I dunno if contrast stitching like this would look ugly on it.

Not bad considering it's roughly the same price range as the official Moto band. I think this band is a no-brainer for the folks that don't mind the price since A) It's available right now, B) It looks so much better than the official one(in my opnion) and C) No pressure on the back of the watch as OP claims. Not that the official Moto one appears to put pressure on the back, but too many of the other 3rd party bands out there appear to do that.

I own two pairs of authentic New Wayfarers and I recently got a pair of these to wear in situations where I don't want to worry about losing expensive sunglasses.

Amazon

I really like them, they're cheap and they're polarized.

u/Captain_-H · 2 pointsr/malefashionadvice

Well I don't know what style you're looking for, but maybe a seiko would work, or for much cheaper a leather strap weekender. As far as a belt I think you'd want to get a really close match on the color of leather and that's hard to do without physically looking at both the boots and belt.

u/nottellingit · 7 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

I have several kind of leggings but my favorite day-to-day pairs are the vera wang kind from kohl's. My favorite exercise pairs are, unfortunately, ones I brought back from visiting my family abroad. My least favorite are these. They're supposed to be seamless but they're not really and have a weird crotch seam that never sits right on me

u/GetOffMyLawn_ · 2 pointsr/fatlogic

Everybody has nipples, but guys like to make comments nonetheless. You can get silicone pasties to hide your nips. Your other option would be silicone bra insert or silicone bra.

Me, I am too old to give a fuck. One of the nice things about getting older.
