I love this look!! I definitely think men shouldn't be afraid to experiment in makeup, even if it's just natural makeup as opposed to "full glam". Other people have already said this but I recommend brushing through your brows with a spoolie and maybe a clear brow gel (my favorite is the brow/mascara duo from elf, it's like $2 and the clear mascara is actually really nice as well). You can also try cleaning up some of the lighter, angled hairs (hopefully you know what I'm talking about) on the tops of your brows with a small eyebrow razor. They're more forgiving than tweezers (hair grows back faster) and way less painful. I use these ones and they're awesome. Your arches already really nice so I don't think you need to clean up under them. :) hope this helps!
Hello!
Here is my Add-on.
I would recommend getting a smart tv if you have the funds. My roommate has one and it is really nice to be able to watch Netflix, Youtube and Pandora all straight from the tv without having to hook up any devices! :) Best wishes on your tv search!
I've never had the chance to play it allthough it looks like a ton of fun and this looks pretty hilarious. :)
I would love to have this razor, I keep getting cheap disposable ones and cut the heck out of myself. :(
Thanks for the contest!
It sounds like you're pressing too hard with the razor, or using a dull blade.
Having a good razor is a must. I like these. When you shave, you want the blade to glide over the skin, without pressing into the skin. A good shaving soap might help. This is my absolute favorite.
Exfoliating between, or prior to shaving is a big help. A good loofah should only cost a couple of bucks, but it saves you so much hassle.
Don't get discouraged. After all, "practice makes perfect". :)
re: shaving, I just saw travel razors in the store that have liquid in the handle to be able to shave anywhere, anytime. I thought it was an interesting idea so it stuck with me.
Here's an amazon link!

Re: skin feeling blah, I'm the type to have a long skincare routine, but lately I found a 'toner' type product that I love. I just throw it on after my shower and that's it for my routine now. I don't even wash my face in the pm.
Here's the amazon link if you'd like to try: https://www.amazon.com/FRUDIA-Citrus-Brightening-Toner-K-Beauty/dp/B07F3R4V42
So cute! I love the different colors of pink in your eyeshadow, lips and hair. They go well together!! I bet you could experiment with incorporating a pink like your lips blended into your eyeshadow.
I know people have pointed out suggestions for your brows, I just wanted to add that I use these little facial razors to shape my brows: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014HNOXZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awdb_t1_yWD-AbYWCC6ZF
Makes it super easy to get into those tight spots for a clean look, but without having to spend the time/hassle of plucking. Just a suggestion!
Tinkle eyebrow razors. They're six for $5, use one every two weeks.
I have blonde hair and always felt conflicted about my "peach fuzz" face because on the one hand I thought that's not another thing women should have to worry about shaving, but at the same time even though mine is very light, it bothered me.
Finally saw those razors recommended, and I'm happy with the results. It doesn't remove every bit of hair, but trims it very close, very quickly, and very economically. It doesn't have any negative side effects when growing out. Just about two weeks later I decide to do it again.
Makeup sits much more nicely on my face.
I shave and absolutely love it! I just pick up these from Amazon and throw one in my purse, my toiletry bag, my makeup bag, and then one at work because my hair has a mind of its own.
I've found that it helps my skin stay healthy and happy because the razor also helps by removing a small number of dead skin cells.
My suggestion for using the small razors is after you take a shower, apply a creamy face cleanser or lotion to your chin/neck/cheeks and then take the blade down the areas with grain of the hair. This will prevent you from getting razor burn and ingrown hairs.
Look up facial shaving on YouTube or reddit. I do it and know a good amount of people in the beauty subs here do too. The best way is using a single blade razor designed for this: Tinkle razors.
Get the tiny Korean face razors. The six pack has prime shipping and is $5– Tinkle Eyebrow Razor Pack of 6 .Pretty not irritating, cheap, convenient, effective = win
These razors off amazon are THE BEST. you get a bunch, and for cheap. They stay "slimy" a long time so that zero to little soap is needed for shaving. And 5 blades!! I have turned many friends onto them.
https://www.amazon.com/Personna-Womens-5-Blade-Disposable-Shaving/dp/B071V7GYW2
Not a foundation recommendation but I have the same issue with peach fuzz so I started using these little facial razors and my foundation goes on a lot smoother! And I can wait longer between waxing my upper lip which is a nice bonus.
https://www.amazon.com/Tinkle-Eyebrow-Razor-Pack-6/dp/B014HNOXZS/ref=sr_1_4?crid=28A0O1UC1QJAA&keywords=tinkle+facial+razor+for+women&qid=1572381417&sprefix=tinkle%2Caps%2C202&sr=8-4
I've been using the following razors from Amazon for roughly two years. I replace them every month or so. They work great and my makeup application is much better because I use these.

I've always been a tweezer, but lately I've been taking care of the bulk of things with one of these and then going in with tweezers to clean up a couple of stray hairs at the edges or whatever. Saves tons of time. Gillette or Schick or someone makes a version you can buy in the drugstore.
I used this even before I was pregnant: http://www.amazon.com/Gillette-Venus-Bikini-Trimmer-Count/dp/B007T6XDF2. I love it! I feel cleaner when there's less down there, but I don't like to shave completely because it irritates my skin too much - this is the perfect length and you don't need to be able to see since the blade is behind the guard. :)
Rave/new purchase: I think I've seen shaving stuff on this subreddit so I've got to rave about this trimmer that I recently rediscovered.
My skin can't tolerate shaving very well in general (legs, armpits, nether regions all feel super dry and itchy after). I had bought one of these trimmers years ago in a store and they just disappeared. I was overjoyed to find that Amazon had them! They're cheap, easy to use, and cut the hair very short. No more razor burn!
Does it have to be electronic? I'm a big fan of dermablading and you can buy pretty inexpensive razors for that. Or you can use the dermaflash - Of course, I recommend doing a bit of research and deciding if it's right for you :)
Did you see these?! You could get a friend to help, maybe? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GJX1KKX/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=A2SZ0KPHYQVM2Q&psc=1
Hi- I know this isn't exactly what you asked, but have you ever tried dermaplaning? I do it about 1x/week using these: https://amzn.com/B014HNOXZS
You have to be careful when you start, but I've never cut myself and my makeup goes on so much smoother afterwards! There are some YouTube videos out there that show you exactly how to do it. Article pretty much sums it up here: https://www.charlottesbook.com/treatment/dermaplaning/
Give these a try. I used to get terrible razor bumps when I used a regular razor on my bikini zone (I had very dark, thick hair). These helped a lot. They’re very small (less than 1” wide) and have guards along the blade, so they’re a lot less likely to accidentally cut you than a regular razor.
Two things you should know. First, you have to hold the razor so that the flat part is flat against your skin for the best cutting angle. If you find the razor isn’t shaving well, try adjusting the angle. And second, the handle can get slippery when you’re using it if your hands are wet.
Some drawbacks, but all in all, I found them a huge improvement over shaving with a normal razor. YMMV of course.
Tinkle Eyebrow Razor Pack of 6 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014HNOXZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_UyB6CbBRJ7JD0
I use these to keep my facial hair under control. I keep one in my bathroom, one in my car, and one in my purse and just quickly take care of it whenever I notice it growing back in. Would highly recommend.
I spent the past two months on the road with a friend and he let me borrow this. So much better than what I came home to, especially with a nice shaving soap and a high-quality brush.
I'm feeling the burn. Hacking away the neckbeard was horrid.
To make it easier you should trim your hair with either a beard trimmer or hair clippers. Then, take a bath as hot as you can stand and soak for a good 10 minutes. Then you may need to do some experimentation. I have better success with hair conditioner than shaving products. For one there's no menthol to cause irritation, and two it seems to make the razor glide better on my skin. You could also try something like Aveeno positively smooth, it has no menthol and has some conditioners that help with reducing nicks and irritation. I still prefer conditioner personally but everyone's skin is different. As far as the razor goes I just use a disposable multi-blade razor that comes in packs, something like this.
This. It's glorious. Pretty much impossible to cut yourself with one of those. It can do the whole groin-perineum-perianal area.
If you have any suggestions or advice on how to go the dewy route, please do tell! You do it very well! I've always gone with matte foundations and have been too worried going into the dewy goddess realm.
I hear that dermablading (shaving) your face will help with makeup application if you didn't want to go the waxing route. I've used these guys to just touch up my eyebrow area if I can't find tweezers, but they work just as well on any other part of your face. But again, haven't gone and used them for my stache.
Can anyone else chime in on face shaving?
I use one of these type of razors and gently shave the fuzz off in the shower while my oil cleanser is on. I used to do it dry but that irritated my face. Using a generous amount of moisturizer afterward helps.
You're amazing and empowering and aboslutely valid too! Thank you for working so hard to be the best you that you can be!
I just got done shaving my legs again about half an hour ago, finally a regular thing again after fearfully retreating back into the closet and plugging my ears and going la la la this is not happening! for several years. I'm not sure if it's that my technique has gotten better the past couple of months or if it's the razors themselves, but I've had nothing but super success with these. No knicks no razor burn just soft and smooth and fabulous! *does cricket leg rubbies!*
Yeah, I think this goes to show that it's all in the prep. Bic does make some, with a yellow plastic handle. These are sold in bags of like 20+ at Walgreens, which I definitely did not need. I opted for the fancier 4x3blade Gillettes because the Bics looked, well, kind of janky. Gillette also makes the Guard, which you can buy online from stores that import it from India, but I needed my disposables immediately. Trip's on Tuesday!
Kinda, but with a long handle so that they are easier to use. Here are the ones I bought
Bonus for a fantastic product name.
THe noxema bikini shaver is an awesome tool I stole from my girl for this purpose. It prevents you from snagging the balloon knot or not stretching the elbow skin far enough to avoid nicking.
I don’t have any overdue library books.
Thanks!
would these mini razors help?
Side note — shaving all of the peach fuzz off your face with tinkle razors helps! I do it once a week and my foundation always looks sooo smooth afterwards.
This is the best thing ever! It get so close but actually never touches your skin.
Consider referring her to the Benefit Brow Bar at Ulta. They do a nice job for less than $20.
I don't recommend plucking too often because it leads to sparse brows because it damages the hair follicles. Instead I shave excess hair from my brow area using these: https://www.amazon.com/Tinkle-Eyebrow-Razor-Pack-6/dp/B014HNOXZS/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1503759446&sr=8-1&keywords=brow+razors+for+women
I got a dermaplane at a medispa (they use a surgical scalpel to remove hair from your face) and use these to maintain at home FT Shiseido Eyebrow Razor 3pcs x 3 Pack set (total 9 pcs) with Premium Oil Blotting Paper Value Set https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0722WKQ86/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_N.Y4CbQJMD61C
https://www.amazon.com/BIC-Single-Blade-Shaver-12-Count/dp/B00070QF0M not a bad deal. No need to tear out any hair. Just get a new one.
I hear you, happens to me when I have to resort to a cart. These aren't too bad in a pinch.
Maybe the razors are too sharp? These are the ones I use, love them to death https://www.amazon.com/Tinkle-Eyebrow-Razor-Pack-6/dp/B014HNOXZS/ref=sr_1_2_s_it?s=beauty&ie=UTF8&qid=1495455925&sr=1-2&keywords=eyebrow+razor
I would empower her to make her own choice. Tell her that women choose all sorts of "styles" for her pubic hair. If she wants to shave it, she can. If she wants to trim, she can. If she wants to let it be, she can.
In my opinion, it is important that she knows that her pubic hair is part of HER BODY and that she is allowed to make her own choices based on her own preferences. She should not feel pressured to make her pubic hair look any specific way from peer pressure. It is not gross, or unsightly to have full grown pubic hair. On the other hand, it is not "infantile" to remove pubic hair.
That said, should she decide that she wants to alter her pubic hair, she should also be aware of the...repurcussions. Shaving can result in itchy, painful red bumps. Waxing is painful (I am not suggesting you pay for your daughter to have any waxing done, btw). Shaving can also lead to cuts or scrapes if you're not careful. Trimming the pubic hair is a good option at this age though. The likelihood of the skin getting nicked is low, and it keeps the hair short and may help her feel more...well-kept. Maybe something like this.
I always need [razors] (http://www.amazon.com/Gillette-Venus-Divine-Sensitive-Refills/dp/B0001LQGFG/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=EQJTOLVDS2H1&coliid=I29ADJ4DT3O5J6). I hate buying them.
Show this gift some love.
What about the women's Venus travel razor? I don't know how different shaving a man's face is, but it works well on legs including all around my knees and ankles. It's not the most comfortable for every day long term use, but I can sacrifice a bit of comfort while traveling. I dumped the case and just keep the cartridge in the refill container with a mini rubber band to keep it closed.
I recently discovered Venus razor heads with Olay soap/moisturizer built in and it's totally changed my shaving routine. Used to be about once a week or so, now it's every couple of days.
Ive ordered these before. They are much wider.

I think this is what your looking for. Tinkle Eyebrow Razor or maybe this one Zodaca [3 Pack] Folding Eyebrow Sharpers
I noticed it when buying razors for my daughters before they made the switch. For example, Bic Twin Select for Men disposables are $4 per 10. A 10-pack of the same razors with pastel handles is $6.
I have used the tinkle blades and the sephora brand ones but they both are a bit longer so I wonder if I should try out the smaller ones.
Tinkle Eyebrow Razor Pack of 6 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014HNOXZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_fk30DbC09THTM
This has been out forever... it's called the Bic Razor
i use these, the handle has more weight than the tinkle ones. i've been using these for about 3 years.
https://www.amazon.com/PREPARE-Shiseido-Facial-Razor-Women/dp/B07RWW6PZ4
I use this to shave! (not the same brand, but the same style of razor)
Haha, I throw them away because I can't get the all of the old skin out and it's kinda gross. I use BIC disposable razors btw. Not the greatest for the environment I know, but I don't use them that often.
https://www.amazon.com/BIC-Single-Shaver-Sensitive-12-Count/dp/B00070QF0C
Venus razors
Those fuckers and the refills are so expensive, but damn if I don't feel smooth and flawless everytime.
I use single blade BIC razors. I shave once a week, against the grain, with water only. No ingrown hairs, bumps, or razor burns.
I use a razor on most of my face. I get dark mustache hairs that I have to constantly tweeze. I have very sensitive skin so I tested this on my neck before doing my face.
I use Tinkle Eyebrow Razors from Amazon.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B014HNOXZS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6NE0BbADAK77D
Edit. There are fake versions on this brand so be careful when ordering online.
Tried a personal groomer, disposable razor, mach 3... without a doubt, the best option for balding the sack are Noxema Bikini Shavers - http://www.amazon.com/Noxzema-Bikini-Shaver/dp/B001EJIMRO
The very, very rare nicks I've had with them I've never felt, just seen a tiny drop of blood.
I've been picking out a good shaving kit to send to /u/brwalkernc and /u/runwichi for after they lose tomorrow. I think it suits.
try the noxzema bikini line shavers. https://www.amazon.com/Noxzema-Bikini-Shave-Disposable-Shavers/dp/B001EJIMRO they don't do a super close shave, and so don't cause the same irritation, bumps, ingrown hairs, etc. just be sure to shave in the direction of the hair.
Ah, got the name wrong. It's the Venus Bikini Trimmer.
My family was/is never open to discussing things, so after puberty set in, I also experienced the thought that shaving was what I was supposed to do. That was my first and only time shaving bare. I definitely prefer trimming, to avoid the strands that get stuck and snap/pull in underwear, and during my period.
I don't want to say that any way is "cleaner" because that seems problematic, like society brainwashing women into thinking that their bodies are something to be ashamed of. (Tiny rant...)
Either way, I LOVE my pubes! My FOOF!
Came back to say that I SWEAR by these razors.
Last year, I spent some time without shaving because I couldn't find them at Walmart, and was skeptical about ordering them.
I tweeze the thicker ones then use these “eyebrow razors” on the rest: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B014HNOXZS?psc=1&ref=yo_pop_mb_pd_title
^I also use those for the peach fuzz I get on my upper lip. They don’t hurt or irritate my skin and I’ve used them for years and haven’t had any issues with the hair growing back thicker or anything
Get her these to use instead of waxing. She’ll have to shave her stache more often than if she got it waxed, but it most likely won’t leave her all irritated. My girlfriend uses them all the time for this reason and for her stache.

Not sure about the wax BUT can I just say... I've tried everything under the sun for my upper lip since I was about 12. Now I just shave it with these little razors. And no it doesn't grow back thicker or any of the other lies you've heard, I promise. So much cheaper and less painful than waxing.
Mine is not noticeable at all but for some reason when my anxiety is out of control it drives me CRAZY and kind of pull/pick at it?? This has become necessary
I worry too. I’ve bought from this listing multiple times and haven’t had a problem. I’m not sure why some people appear to get fakes.
