I don't have an eating disorder and I am not a doctor, so I don't know if this is the right way to handle things, so you should check with your doctor or psychiatrist before doing most of this. I have, among other things, an anxiety disorder, and Bipolar NOS, so I am basing my advice on what I have learned about self care from those, and on recommendations that my grandfather was given to help with his heartburn. Also, if this is sound advice for ED, I'm sure you know all this, but often when I'm going through a rough patch, I need someone to tell me to do my self care stuff.

If you haven't already, go through your kitchen and get rid of or lock up most of your high calorie/low nutrition food and everything that is really acidic. Go shopping for foods that are nutrient rich and lower acid. Also, get something like Ensure or Boost, it will help both with nutrition and lowering the acidity in your stomach. Eat mostly fruits and vegetables (you don't have to be vegan, you can still have meat, just eat it in moderation), and make sure you are eating enough insoluble fiber (whole grains, carrots, apples with the peels, leafy green vegetables, etc.). Stay hydrated and chew thoroughly. Eating like this will help get your food through your stomach faster. Taking a walk after eating helps too. ^1

If you haven't already, talk to your psychiatrist about taking vitamins (including a D3 supplement, the farther from the equator you are, the less you get naturally), calcium, and a probiotic. My psychiatrist recommend I take prenatal vitamins (I'm sorry, I know this could be hard for you right now). She told me they really should be the standard woman's vitamins, because most women need the extra folic acid, regardless of their plans for children. As for what kind of multivitamin to take, I recommend the Vitafusion Prenatal Gummy Vitamins. They don't have iron, so they are easier on your stomach and don't interfere with the absorption of calcium. I also like Vitafusion's Calcium. I have found that taking a calcium supplement helps with my heartburn. A probiotic (I don't know why but every time I try to type probiotic, it changes to phobic) should help the rest of your digestive tract cope better. I like gummy supplements because they are their own reward for taking them (I think they taste like regular gummies), and because they are chewed up, they should be absorbed faster.

Add something fun to your morning routine, something you will look forward to doing. I love to read, so I make sure to have time to read while I'm eating my breakfast (but I have to be sure to set a timer or get to work early enough to eat there, otherwise I get too distracted and end up running late which makes me stressed for the whole day).

Make yourself do something to treat yourself everyday. Get your nails done, get a massage, buy a new book or shoes or a movie, take a bath, go for a walk, something that normally makes you feel good or you have been wanting to try for awhile. Just doing something you normally find pleasurable, even if you don't really feel like doing it right now, can help you feel better.

And remember, even though we don't know you in the real world, we care about you. ❤ You are one of us, someone who understands how hard it is to live in a parent centric society, and we want you to be happy.

^1 Unless you have a medical condition that affects your diet, you should be fine making these changes without talking to your doctor first.

I'm sorry you're having such a tough time! Learning about eating well can be really overwhelming. I've struggled with gaining weight at times too, so I can relate. I agree with some of the recommendations that have been posted so far (more frequent small meals, grains, bars, multivitamins).

My suggestions:

  • Try to consume high-calorie foods. IMO, the most convenient sources of calories are foods like bananas (a fast way to get 100 kcal), avocados (if you can afford them, lol), dried fruit, dark chocolate - 250 kcal per serving, 225 kcal per serving, granola, rice, quinoa, potatoes, and sweet potatoes. If you can find a trail mix with nuts, dried fruit, and dark chocolate, that’s a great way to get in some calories!

  • Eat healthy fats! Good sources of calories include nuts (especially almonds, macadamia nuts, and walnuts), nut butters (peanut butter, almond butter, etc.), and oils (olive oil, coconut oil). Honestly, one thing I've done before is to buy some coconut oil and eat a spoonful at a time (15ml has 123 kcal!). It doesn't taste like anything, so it's easy to eat, and it's a super-fast way to get calories.

  • You mentioned trying but not being able to tolerate Ensure. I highly recommend other forms of liquid calories, such as protein shakes or pre-made smoothies. These are some I like:
    • Naked Juice smoothies - these contain good-for-you ingredients, and some of them are good sources of protein, too. They're high in sugar, but all of the sugar comes from the fruit (plus it sounds like you need sugar).
    • Innocent smoothies
    • Orgain protein shakes: These are pre-made (ready to drink) and have 140 kcal + 20g of protein. You can also get Orgain in powder form, which is probably more cost-effective, but less convenient.
    • Sunwarrior rice protein powder is dairy-free and vegan. It has less calories than the Orgain (80 kcal + 16g of protein per serving), but it's less expensive.
    • If you decide to try a protein powder, I recommend getting a shaker bottle like this one - they make it so much easier to mix up protein shakes.

  • Definitely try some protein/snack bars, as /u/allycat-alison mentioned. I like Larabars, Luna/Clif bars, and Kind bars.

  • Your energy is probably low for many reasons (not sleeping because of stress, feeling depressed, not eating enough/low blood sugar) - another reason may be having low iron. You could try an iron supplement and see if that helps. Another potential source of low energy is depleted B vitamins, so a B-complex supplement could also be beneficial. This is a multivitamin I found that’s a good source of B vitamins, vitamin D (also related to energy), AND iron. It also contains vitamin C, which helps your body absorb the iron.

  • I know you said you didn’t want your family to find out (and unfortunately, keeping all of this to yourself is even more stressful!). I'm not going to advise you to talk to them, because I don’t know your situation. BUT, your family shouldn't get suspicious if they were to find out you had a physical - a physical is a standard thing that everyone should have regularly, IMO. I think it would be really helpful for you to have one, because your doctor can order bloodwork (again, totally standard/understandable/nothing that should raise eyebrows) and find out if there's anything contributing to your situation, like anemia or low thyroid function.

  • Does your uni have a student health center/offer counseling? I'm in the U.S., and many here do. It's usually included in your tuition, and it's anonymous, so no one would have to know. I would go by your health center and see if they have any nutrition and/or counseling services, because it sounds like you don’t have anyone to talk to, and you should!!

  • Lastly, remember that tobacco is proven to reduce appetite, so if you can, please try to take your friends' help with quitting tobacco. You could also try cessation products like nicotine gum, lozenges, or the patch. Did marijuana not help your appetite? I almost always get the munchies!
u/DrEnter · 2 pointsr/ADHD

I don't mind. I'm male, late 40's, 220 lb (100 kg), 6'4" (193 cm). I was the fifth of six children, but the only one diagnosed or apparently symptomatic with ADHD. I am ADHD/Inattentive (without hyperactivity). Unusual for the time (the mid-80's), I was diagnosed post-adolescence. I took Ritalin for 6 years until I started to adapt to it and the dosage was getting pretty high, so then I switched to Adderall (early-90's), which I still take. I've been lucky with Adderall, as I've been able to maintain a fairly consistent dosage for 20+ years and have it maintain efficacy.

As for supplements, I currently take the aforementioned magnesium glycinate (1 tablet/200 mg in the evening), a multivitamin in the morning (this one), and about 4 grams of fiber throughout the day (almost no one gets enough soluble fiber). I take a potassium supplement (labeled as 500 mg, but delivers 100 mg), but only as needed when I'm getting leg muscle spasms. I also take a methylated vitamin B12 supplement every other morning or so, less for ADHD than because I have this genetic thing where I don't absorb vitamin B unless it's methylated. All my siblings have it as well, I'm told it's very common.

I used to take a tablespoon or so of flax seed oil every day. I go back and forth with that. That seems to work well for me for a few weeks, but then the effects seem to taper off. I probably need to play with how I take that, maybe do a better job of taking it with food or something. Honestly, I've never been able to get the pattern of that one correct.

The best suggestion I can give you is to pay attention to your mind and your body, and don't be afraid to try new things to find the things that work for you. be patient, not everything that helps will help right away. Get enough sleep (something I struggle greatly to do), and if you can, meditate a few minutes every day. I don't really find meditation relaxing, but I do find that it helps me clear my mind later in the day. Most of these kind of things (vitamins, meditation, etc.) don't lead to dramatic changes, but small improvements that help out a bit or just in one way.

u/TheRationalLion · 13 pointsr/treedibles

I've only made canna caps a few times so I'm still tweaking things but here's what I've got so far.

Ingredients:

• 1oz bud - your choice of strain.

• 8oz (1 cup) coconut oil or butter. I prefer coconut oil.

• 1.5tb soy lecithin

Directions:

Pre-heat your oven to 215° F.

Chop up your herb finely.

You can grind it but I've found it's easier to strain if chopped.

Sprinkle evenly into a small oven safe dish.

Cover well with aluminum foil, crimping up around the edges.

Place in oven for 30-45 minutes.

After 30-45 minutes, remove the dish and let it cool, WITH the foil still on. Letting it cool down slowly, allows any vapors to settle back into the material (theoretically).

Note: for the extraction process I prefer a Nesco 6-Quart Roaster Oven. I prefer this over a crock pot because it has temp control.
I used this in combination with a Digital Cooking Thermometer which comes in handy not only for more accuracy but also because you can set an alarm on it if the temp gets too high - in which case you'd just add some water to the mixture.

While you wait for the container to cool, Melt your coconut oil or butter in a pan on low heat.

Once cool, remove the foil lid from the pan and place the decarbed herb into the roaster/crock pot.

Pour enough distilled water over the herb to float it, then add the oil or butter over your herb and stir it up.

Set the temperature between 200 and 220 Fahrenheit and let cook for 12-18 hours, stirring occasionally.
Note: this step is where that digital thermometer with temperature alarm comes in particularly useful. Set it and forget it.

After 12-18 hours turn off heat and and strain the oil from the herb using a stainless steel mesh strainer, pouring the extract into a class or ceramic dish.
Note: I prefer a steel strainer but it's possible to use cheesecloth. Coffee filters do not work. Also, I don't throw away the herb. I let it dry as much as possible, grind it finely and put it in capsules also.

Place dish in refrigerator over night or until the oil or butter has hardened.

Once solid, separate oil/butter from the water, discarding the water.

Place solid extract in an oven safe dish and heat at low temp until liquid.

Once liquid, add 1.5tb of soy lecithin to the extract and stir gently until homogenized.

You now have cannabis extract ready to be used for cooking or for filling capsules.

Here are some things that I used that may help you.

1,000 Herbal Oil Capsules - Size "00"

Size 00 Capsule Holding Tray

Soy Lecithin Powder - 1 Lb

Glass Eye Droppers

Hope this helps. Happy cooking :)

Stress can certainly lead to hair loss and that will be temporary. Easy bruising, like hair loss, can be due to many things. If you are otherwise feeling healthy and have your usual level of energy I wouldn't jump to iron deficiency as the first possible cause.

I do strongly suggest that you begin taking a decent multivitamin. It's a good idea for everyone especially as we get older. I suggest this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0009KNLV6/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Compare this to your Flintstone's vitamins and you can see the Flintstone's are pretty laughable. This one also has a hefty dose of biotin which supports healthy hair. I suggest also adding a daily vitamin C pill. It's cheap and good for lots of things including possibly your bruising. Remember to always take vitamins with food.

You also need a good diet so look up on google foods that are high in iron. It can be dangerous to take iron supplements without the advice of a doctor first and I do not recommend it. Good food and a good multivitamin should be your first step.

Be aware that a high alcohol intake can both decrease biotin, (possibly leading to hair loss), and cause easy bruising. If you have been drinking too much after your break-up now is the time to stop. Good luck and best wishes.

I take some pretty pricey vitamins, but I have been told that these vitamins are similar to the ones I take, but cheaper. They are a whole food vitamin which means that they are vitamins taken from food products that you could actually eat, so it makes it easy to digest and easier for your body to absorb plus they don't make your tummy hurt. A lot of cheaper vitamins are sometimes sourced from non food items like the calcium will be from oyster shells or dolomite. Everyone has their own opinion, and I'm not saying my way is the best way, I just like what I take, and I like how I feel. So, here are a couple links.

I was also suspicious that I wasn’t ovulating. I bought some cheap test strips on amazon like these: Ovulation Test Kit HCG15-LH40, 15 Pregnancy Test Strips & 40 Ovulation Test Strips with 55 Urine Cups Reliable & Quick Early Pregnancy Test https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07M6QJ179/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_vce4CbFVE4577

It’s a pain in the ass to test daily, but you basically use them once a day right when you wake up. I keep a notebook, tape, and pen right by the toilet, and taped each finished test to the paper in order and jotted down the date and time.

After a full cycle of doing that, I learned that I didn’t ovulate (at least for that cycle), so I read up on natural ways to sort of force your body to ovulate.

I ended up using soy isoflavones, like these: Puritans Pride Non-GMO Soy Isoflavones 750 Mg Rapid Release Capsules https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004R66DNQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_6ee4Cb4EMQXRP

Ovulated the very next cycle, and was pregnant within a couple months. I think I could even feel myself ovulate, like it made it’s stronger. The slightest twinge on one side.

It’s definitely not an exact science, but it worked for me. Good luck to you!!

Have you tried melatonin before? I didn't always find it strong enough to help, but I found some melatonin gummies that for whatever reason seem to effect me more - maybe those would help. Linked the one I tried.

Edit to add: The dosage says to take two gummies, and I found that so strong that one gummy is normally actually sufficient. So maybe two would work for you. Also my understanding is that melatonin is pretty safe, so you could probably take an extra one (or two???) to up the strength a little if needed.

> Ever since I started this I have felt awful. Throat fullness/tightness, headache, fatigue dizziness & nausea. Anyone else have this problem?

Iodine alone without cofactors can make for an unpleasant experience, what you're experiencing isn't unusual.

I have a few suggestions, but I do not know what is in your chaste berry supplement and multivitamin so be sure to check them for selenium/selenomethionine so you don't take too much.

300-600mg magnesium (malate and taurate are good ones)

100mg B2 riboflavin twice a day (the yellow component of a b-complex)

500mg niacin twice a day (use inositol hexanicotinate, usually called "no flush" niacin, 500mg of true B3/niacinamide/nicotinic acid will ruin your day)

200mcg selenomethionine (be sure to check the multivitamin and other supplement for this, you don't want more than 400mcg in a day)

1,000mg Vitamin C (3 times a day)

1/2 tsp Celtic sea salt (Redmond Real salt works too)

I believe these will help you see a welcome improvement, this is a great baseline to start out with.

More info available in [Iodine by David Brownstein M.D.] and [The Iodine Crisis by Lynne Farrow]

Quick links:

[Magnesium malate]

[B2/B3 cofactors]

[Selenomethionine]

[Vitamin C]

[Celtic sea salt]

[12.5mg iodine](what you're taking now is probably great, though the books recommend 50mg)

Very cheap forms of vitamins that are very poorly absorbed by the body. Don't feel to bad though, Optimen was my first multi and I took it for a year when I was younger without realizing it was shit. It's on par with the shit multis they sell at walmart basically. Fear not for I know of very good multis for basically the same price. But depending on your activity life.

For an overall very good (one of the best you can get actually) multi, that's very balanced with superior forms of each vitamin, source naturals life force is the best bang for you buck, basically the same price as Optimen. https://www.amazon.com/Source-Naturals-Multiple-Activator-Capsules/dp/B000GFPD0G/ref=sr_1_1_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1497074875&sr=8-1&keywords=source+naturals+life+force

If you're a hardcore lifter, and/or you experience discomforts in joints or recovery, controlled labs Orange Triad is the best in this aspect because it also has very good forms of vitamins, BUT, it includes a joint/flex complex in it that would cost 45$ alone by itself at a CVS. And you get a 45 day supply for 28$, basically like a few dollars more then optimen or source naturals. I'm taking it right now and have for the past 3-4 years. I haven't experienced any joint pain during this time, amazing multi I would say. https://www.amazon.com/Controlled-Labs-Orange-Triad-Multivitamin/dp/B00104I5TS/ref=sr_1_1_s_it?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1497086164&sr=1-1&keywords=orange%2Btriad&th=1

Now Foods Adam Multi is also pretty damn good for the price if you want something cheaper then all of those. https://www.amazon.com/NOW-Adam-Superior-Multi-Softgels/dp/B003ENHSI2/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1497075275&sr=8-5&keywords=anavite&th=1

Maybe persuade her to let you buy vegan vitamins. Currently I buy these. They're a little expensive but my favorite so far. A multi never hurt anybody 🤷‍♀️ as lon as it's vegan and has all the vitamins in there both parties should be happy.

I eat a lot of protein, which gives me horrible smelling gas and shit. Since changing my diet is not an option, I've come up with a few work arounds. Hope they help.

I use a product called Devrom, which is advertised as an "internal deodorant". Works great when you take it with food.

Also, consider taking probiotics like this. They can help with odor, too.

Good luck and happy shitting!!

u/FocusFlukeGyro · 1 pointr/keto

I recommend Centrum chewables because they are more easily absorbed by the body. I heard that sometimes regular multivitamins pass through the body largely undigested which is why I prefer the chewable kind. Also, I take a potassium supplement as well as a heaping tablespoon of fiber powder every day. For anyone interested, a convenient carb free way to take the fiber powder is to mix it in a blender with a can of diet root beer (I use A&W) with a 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream and two packets of Splenda. It tastes like a melted root beer float (i.e. delicious) and you hardly notice the fiber.

I actually realized this year that taking a good multivitamin helps me alot.

I don't feel hungry for almost the entire day.

Oh wow, thanks! I will have to read into those soon. I have been taking 400mg of SAMe once a day. Would the SAMe be benefiting me or hurting me? And do you think that I should either switch or stop taking this B complex because of the methylcobalamin and methyfolate, and instead should I take something containing hydroxycobalamin such as this? I have also been taking this multivitamin which contains methylcobalamin. Is there a different multivitamin you know of which does not contain that?

Again, thanks so much for the detailed response. I will definitely read into those articles when I get home later!

There's a chemical you can buy over-the-counter (or from Amazon, whatever) called bismuth subgallate, brand name "Devrom". It's harmless and will make your feces and flatus odorless, or at least much less stinky. It's used by people who've had surgery to shorten their bowel, which leads to some pretty amazing smells.

It's not commonly used because (a) the company doesn't aggressively market it, and (b) people tend not to mind the smell of their own intestinal products.

There are literally people out there whose shit don't stink. Weird, eh?

Edit: Since apparently people are really interested in this, a bit more information: I read about this in Mary Roach's Gulp last week; everything else I learned from doing some Google searches. I don't own stock or have commercial interest in this, and I've never tried it myself. Most people reviewing it on Amazon seem happy with their results.

As for side effects, this random internet pharmacist says that it can cause GI bleeding, but is safer than aspirin in that regard. Also, it will apparently discolor your stool. (Which I guess means you can leave mysterious presents for people, since if you take away the color and smell, it's just mud with a weird consistency... and a terrible bacterial hazard.) Ah, here's a pharmacy handout: it may temporarily discolor your tongue as well, and you shouldn't use it if you have liver or kidney problems, or if you're pregnant. In general, ask your pharmacist, I guess.

In the 1970s, four patients got reversible encephalopathy which stopped when they were taken off of the drug. I don't see anything else in PubMed. So, I guess, consult your pharmacist and have fun?

Edit 2: Since I've been asked twice about this, yes, it also makes your farts not stink. I should have said "farts" instead of "flatus", but I think I've watched too much Mythbusters. Farts farts farts.

I could really use some supplements and pain relief that my doctor wants me to take. Specifically, the Calcium, the Arthritis Acetaminophen and the Loratadine. I really could use anything off my Needed HBA Items list, but those three I either need to add to my daily regimen per doc request or am flat out of.

I appreciate the help everyone!

Yes, sort of. The alive! Multivitamins are really really good whole food vitamins. Worth noting, the serving size is between 3-6 pills on the different brands. Just take one and cut all the % into 1/3 or less.

I found these online: https://www.amazon.com/Kirkman-Labs-EveryDay-Multi-Vitamin-Vitamins/dp/B00P8DX0DS but honestly I ended up just grabbing a few bottles of different vitamins (mostly the important main ones in multivitamins) and taking them all together.

Better link as I'm also curious about /r/MDMA thoughts on this.

This is another "rave pill", only with more vitamins in it.

http://www.amazon.com/Rave-ON-90-Capsules/dp/B00BHMCAWQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1377838809&sr=1-1&keywords=rave+on

The only problem I see with these kinds of pills is you're not supposed to take 5HTP before, during, or even after comedown. You gotta wait to take it like 6-8 hours after you've fully sobered up. Everything else I can see being beneficial though

Good point about the calcium, it wasn't until I started tracking in MFP that I realized how little calcium I was getting day-to-day. I eat two of these each day because I'm a child and I need my supplements to taste good.

u/faxmulder · 1 pointr/StackAdvice

Thanks man for your feedback. A few days ago I ordered this multi - is it good or should I get another one? It already has 100mcg iodine.

RaveAid is a popular mdma supplementation brand. I haven’t used it myself but it apparently is good. Here is a link

Hey! I saw an ad on a bag my OB/GYN gave me for plant-sourced DHA prenatal vitamins and I thought of this thread. I checked mine and most are either a) gelatin (some labeled bovine-sourced, some not, so who knows), or b) DHA from fish oil. I had to give up and compromise on the gelatin in order to expand my choices.

The brand advertised was Nexa, so I checked online. They have a B-Nexa that has extra B6 and IS vegetarian: http://www.nexaprenatal.com/nexa-family-of-products/b-nexa/ - but does not have DHA, and it's not really a complete prenatal. They also have Nexa Plus which is their complete prenatal, but alas.... it has gelatin (and they don't advertise it as vegetarian). GELATIN!!! <shakes fist>

But, while trying to figure out if the Nexa stuff was vegetarian, I did find this! http://www.amazon.com/Country-Life-Maxi-Pre-Natal-Capsules/dp/B000FK9GZK (holy crap, is the dose really 6 pills?)

I didn't think to ask my doctor about good vegetarian prenatals. Brain full. ;)

  • Rainbow Light Women's One Multi (Link to Amazon, shows what's in it.)
  • B-complex, sublingual liquid
  • 5000iu D3, oil dropper
  • Potassium tablet
  • Magnesium tablet

thats the best one on the market in my research

Plugging nutritional deficiencies alone can triple testosterone overnight. Its really crazy. But imagine you are deficient in a particular nutrient. supplementing that nutrient could make a night and day difference to your energy levels. I doubt it would cure your CFS. But like I said, try it out. A lot of these could make little to no difference. for me, in conjunction, they help a lot

This was not meant to be prescriptive. this was a list of things to possibly help or try out. I would go through one bottle of Raw one for a month. and then stop completely and see if there is a difference

Quirky? Like they're irregularly shaped? Soy isoflavones can increase breast size/density, here's the product on Amazon. Combine with other herbs/seeds/foods such as saw palmetto and fenugreek. Look up what shrinks breasts as well, so she can avoid that.

u/[deleted] · 1 pointr/FLMedicalTrees

I just put my regular dose in the capsule. All the capsules in dispensaries contain distillate mixed with mct oil (which is why they are so full). I usually just squeeze out a small amount (~25 mgs) and put it into a capsule without mct oil though. i feel like if i took a third of a syringe at a time i would be so stoned i wouldnt know i was stoned lol. Anyways these are the empty caps i use-

https://www.amazon.com/Clear-Empty-Gelatin-Capsules-Capsuline/dp/B00PYV9D6M/ref=sr_1_11?keywords=empty+capsules&qid=1563396147&s=gateway&sr=8-11

I usually take right before or after I eat and feel an effect in around 30 -90 mins

you can also just eat distillate. you can literally just put some in your mouth and swallow it, put it in ice cream, on a cracker, etc etc. you can really make any edible you want with it because its already active so you dont have to do anything but mixing it into your food.

Sorry for the late response man, I meant to link everything I used. So the gelcaps have been fine carrying them in my pocket in a pill bottle (small amounts, maybe 5-6) during 90deg heat for a couple of hours. I really just have the majority of them stored inside in a sealed container in a dark place and they might leak a very very small amount that is negligible. Hope that helps, below is the link to the caps I used.

My favorite multivitamin I'm having to take the cheaper version of it and it's just not the same. :( I miss it.

u/HeCallsMePrecious · 1 pointr/waiting_to_try

My normal multivitamin had decent levels of folic acid in it - maybe check out just a regular women's vitamin? I agree that taking prenatals for a year would mess with my brain too!

u/shookpikachu · 5 pointsr/Accutane

It is suggested you take multivitamins without Vitamin A which are hard to find.

The most popular one would be this one:

https://www.amazon.com/Kirkman-Labs-EveryDay-Multi-Vitamin-Vitamins/dp/B00P8DX0DS

u/Battleofthebogs · 3 pointsr/nutrition

Sure. Nautrelo Whole Food Multivitamin: link

Choline Supplement because choline is often lacking in people due to not enough egg consumption.

While the multivitamin is expensive, the vitamins are not synthetic for the most part, and have decent potency.

u/luckers · 0 pointsr/keto

Take this one. Its the only vitamin that won't make you barf it up in 10 minutes or feel nausea.

u/EatYourCheckers · 1 pointr/Parenting

Could be for sure. My kids tend to drink water over milk, so they probably don't get as much dietary calcium as they are supposed to.

I use this brand: http://www.amazon.com/Vitafusion-Calcium-Vitamins-Adults-100-Count/dp/B003DRD3PG

2 gummies have 500mg of calcium, which is what I have found listed as the daily recommendation for kids. I don't think you can get too much calcium, but again, double-check.

u/kylefecik · 1 pointr/Supplements

Weird. This is the vitamin that I take for context. I don't know if it's something else in it. It's weird though cause it happened with my last vitamin too. That's why I actually stopped taking it.

If you really want to roll longer, I recommend possibly looking into sass (MDA). It's a bit more psychedelic and less empathetic than MDMA, but it has a noticeably longer roll as well. The trade-of is that it's supposedly more neurotoxic as well, but I doubt it's worse than redosing.

In regards to supplements, they're a must in my book. Not only do they help with the comedown (my worst comedowns were before I started using supplements and now they're almost non-existent with them), but they also improve your roll a lot as well. I personally swear by [Rave Aid] (http://www.amazon.com/RaveAid-All---One-Supplement-Vitamins/dp/B00B2XV82I/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1417057052&sr=8-1&keywords=rave+aid) as it has most of the vitamins and such outlined in this guide.

Very high quality ingredients, highly absorbable. Softgel form too. (Most multivitamin tablets do not get fully absorbed). You probably won't find a better multi than this, especially not at that price.
