Note all keyboard mouse combos use Esc for back. Need to use enter to select at main menu but sub menus the mouse select works

Mele f10
have to flip over for Esc/back button. Works good pretty accurate. Cue and rewind work in circle select area. Have to flip over and hit space bar to play/pause

Logitech K400. keyboard/touch pad my favorite but big. Home button works as home. Play/pause, cue and rewind keys work

Logitech N5902, exceedingly akward IMHO. Worked great with HTPC but not good with FireTV. BTW do not buy at amazon if you think you may want one it is too expensive. If more than $30 you are paying too much. Once again not good for FireTV but good for HTPC.

The PC version is far superior. Not only can you play at 60+ FPS, but the game already has a remarkably active modding community. There are a bunch of awesome mods already out; new outfits, new weapons, graphical improvements, and gameplay modifiers.

There are ways to make your rig TV friendly. First, I recommend buying a wireless Xbox One controller as well as a PC remote (yes, PC remotes exist: https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Keyboard-Touchpad-Connection-Raspberry/dp/B01MSX306Z/ref=sr_1_3?crid=24EHCFXIQ0K9L&keywords=pc+remote+control&qid=1556655620&s=gateway&sprefix=pc+remote%2Caps%2C153&sr=8-3 ).

It basically turns your PC into a console. A must have, imo - I can't believe I went so long without one. The remote allows you to use your PC without hauling around a mouse and keyboard, and the controller works seamlessly with Windows 10.

Also, if you have cash to spare and aren't obsessed with cooling, switching to a mini-ITX case may be worth it. I recently switched to the Dan SFX-A4 case, which is as compact AND as light as a PS4 Pro. My rig is almost as convenient to use and move around as a console now. Expensive, sure, but worth it (for me). I used to build in huge cases, but they're so inconvenient.

I'd recommend selling your Xbox One and using that money to improve your PC. Microsoft will be releasing all Xbox exclusives on Windows 10 from this point forward; they're even porting the Master Chief Collection over this year. At this point, there's no real reason to own both an Xbox and a gaming rig.

u/gaso · 2 pointsr/raspberry_pi

Confirming the ultimate kit looks good. They'll just need a mouse, keyboard, and monitor to get going. Personally I prefer normally-sized mice/keyboards, have two sets of these that I love and work perfectly well with the rPi: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-MK270-Combo-Keyboard-Wireless/dp/B00CL6353A/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1475005540&sr=1-1&keywords=wireless+logitech+mouse+keyboard

As /u/Brillinius mentioned the ultimate kit is much more interesting and extensive, and certainly the kit you'll want to purchase. From a practical standpoint, the additional components provided make project testing / experimentation/learning much easier because kit components allow for nearly instant and effortless wiring of all kinds of neat parts together.

I'd throw an arduino nano in as well, just because all of those parts in the ultimate kit complement so well, and it's easy to run the arduino-IDE on the rPi3: https://www.amazon.co.uk/SainSmart-Nano-v3-0-For-Arduino/dp/B005X4PKR6/ref=sr_1_10?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1475005405&sr=1-10&keywords=arduino+nano

It's been awhile since I've looked into a HTPC remote, but last I checked what you're looking for didn't exist.

There are apps that let you use an Android (and possibly iOS) device as a track pad, and keyboard. Some Androids also have built in IR blasters so you can also control your TV. I tried that for a bit, but wasn't a fan of using a touchscreen.

I know you said your not interested in an air mouse, but as far as I know that's really the best solution. I really enjoy my Rii Mini i13. The air mouse, and keyboard connect to your HTPC via USB dongle, and the "remote" side is IR. It has IR learning so you can teach the buttons to do what you want. Add a FLIRC to your HTPC and you can also use the IR buttons to run you HTPC.

As far as I know those are probably your best options, but maybe somebody more up to date will chime in with something better

u/rapidsalad · 2 pointsr/PleX

Here were my requirements : a physical remote. needs to control the computer mouse too (I don't want to have a separate keyboard mouse for my TV). Flirc would be amazing, but it doesn't have the mouse controls I'm looking for, so its basically out.

My ideal candidate would be an apple remote with a nub mouse on it (http://xkcd.com/243/). However, this doesn't exist, so I had to make due.

I've settled with the Mele F10 (http://www.amazon.com/Mele-wireless-Keyboard-Control-Universal/dp/B0092KDSQW). I've had a ton of issues with a flying mouse, so I also had to learn autohotkey to remap a few of the buttons. I have different setups for each htpc program I use, mostly for live TV via windows media center (great for live TV via HDHomeRun). I can also fire up emulators or steam, although I don't really game on my dedicated HTPC. It also has a keyboard on the underside which comes in handy. This has been super useful when I'm trying to enter a webpage or search for a movie.

I can link my autohotkey settings if anyone is interested.

u/JustABard · 1 pointr/dakboard

No problem! Let me know if it fits your needs. I will say that it takes more space on the screen than the widget. I can see how the traffic widget using the API key would be appealing for its small screen realty, but I feel what you get out of my solution is worth it. Especially if you do what I did, and put it in a scheduled text block set to only show for the hours between waking up and going to work (which is really the only time you need it).

First, with my solution, you see the actual route mapped out, along with the time that it would take you to get there. And it also shows alternate routes, along with their times. The widget only tells you the time it would take on one route. I like having the map, because it gives a far better picture of what's going on. My solution marks the map with yellow or red in the general area where traffic is congested. The widget only says 'moderate traffic on route' or something along those lines. I like seeing exactly where traffic is congested at. If it's closer to my work, it might clear a bit before I get there. If it's closer to my house, I'll likely have to deal with it regardless.

And it can also be zoomed into by pressing CTRL+zoom (the zoom wheel between the right and left mouse buttons). Zooming in reveals more info on the route, which I really like. I know this isn't really useful for most DAKboard setups, as a lot of people do not have a keyboard/mouse setup. But I have some interactive stuff on my page that I like having a key/mouse interface. I found this handheld setup that works beautifully. It's wireless USB. Then I bought this deal to hang it on the wall by the display. Makes the whole setup seem more 'futuristic'. I can set the big calendar to show 8 months, but size the block to show only 4 weeks. Then, I hover over the block on the page and use the red scroll wheel, and I can see the rest. It's been a game changer.

u/nubbinator · 2 pointsr/buildapc

> but anybody with experience can agree that the Logitech brand is worth the larger investment.

It depends on the product. I absolutely love my old Logitech MX 1000 since few mice have ever felt as comfortable in my hand, not to mention how well it performed, and I absolutely despise my Wireless Desktop Wave Pro since it's a total POS.

u/ThaneofJudgement · 1 pointr/htpc

If you don't mind an Air Wand remote, I bought this and it was the best thing I did for my HTPC. I still have a wireless keyboard but this is much easier for just general viewing and use. Works great, batteries last, backlight is nice and you can program the power button and 4 of the bottom buttons to RF signals. So Mine can turn the TV on and off, control the volume on the PC and Home Theater Speakers and the play/pause etc works in most apps like Netflix.

u/katanastrike · 1 pointr/buildapc

Honestly, I've just been using Windows 10 for my media center. I know windows inside and out, so that's what I'm most comfortable with. Windows 10 works great on a TV. I set the scaling to 150%, and put all the apps I use in the start menu. I'm using one of these air mouse remote things, and it's like 2 clicks, or a couple seconds to launch any app, plus typing for searches and stuff is super easy since there's a keyboard built in.

u/Nelom · 2 pointsr/bravia

Ok, so I've now tried this app out, and it worked beautifully! Thanks so much. Reddit gold is coming your way.

Some comments for others who may stumble upon this thread:

  • The Buttons Remapper app doesn't show up in the Play Store on my TV so I had to sideload it, but since it's a free app (allows for two button remaps, premium is available) it's easy to just install it on another device and create your own APK backup.

  • You'll have to enable Buttons Remapper in the accessibility settings. For me, the app couldn't find those settings (likely why it was deemed incompatible with my TV) but once you enable it manually, it works just fine.

  • The app is a little awkward to use with just the remote, so I recommend using a touchpad or something that gives you mouse cursor access. This is what I use: https://www.amazon.com/Rii-Wireless-Bluetooth-Backlight-RTi8BT-3/dp/B01FXDVYU8/
u/GrantShoe · 2 pointsr/cordcutters

good call on the mobo! I was looking at it a 2nd time and started to think about how the original one has no HDMI so I'd need a video card.

Thinking about it more, don't know if I even need the Hypere212, but that's a better deal.

I'm not sure if i'm gonna do Windows 7 or Linux. Probably start with linux and see how it all works and I can use Windows as the fallback.

For a remote, I saw that someone mentioned this recently. I like that it has the simplicity that i'm used to with boxeebox but flip it over and I have the same full keyboard + the touchpad that I can use with an actual PC. And it's only $50

Thanks :)

u/xobybr · 2 pointsr/ffxiv

I bought this thing to use for chatting and it works really well!! I did have an actual full keyboard but that was just too big and annoying but yeah this thing is nice and small easy to type with! It also has backlit keys which is nice for playing/typing if you play at night in the dark.

u/Crephix · 2 pointsr/cordcutters

Why not get get an all in one like the one I use or this one maybe this is more to your liking. A couple more essentially identical and awkward options are this one and this one. There's more choices too if you didn't like those, take this one for example or if you just want to have some fun (doesn't have keyboard, consider it an honorable mention). These are links to universal remotes with a keyboard on the back. Some have trackpads like those found on laptops, while some use an "air mouse" (think Wii control). Some use regular batteries (AA/AAA) while others use built in rechargeable batteries.

About a year ago I started looking around for a way to control my TV and HTPC with one remote. I originally wanted to go with a FLIRC paired with a Harmony control to use so that I could use WMC (with Youtube, Hulu+, Netflix and Plex "plugins"). Ultimately I decided against it due to the lack of a keyboard. After looking around I stumbled upon these. I went with the Rii due to the form factor and the WAF.

--Below is my review of the "Rii mini i13 4 in 1 Wireless Multmedia Air Fly Mouse Keyboard (Black)"--

I am mostly pleased with this setup but there are a few kinks, most notably the battery. At first it was great, no batteries to swap out and it held a charge for about a month before it was time to recharge. But now, a year later, I have to recharge it every couple days. It still works fine but I don't know if I should buy another one, try to replace the battery when it does die, or try something different. There is no way EASY way to open it, and honestly I don't think it could withstand to many battery swaps since it's made of this flimsy plastic. Truly think I'm lucky to have had it as long as I have.

Another thing is that the buttons themselves feel indistinguishable from one another which makes night time use/viewing a bit difficult, wish there was a backlight. I'd also like to mention that I have an issue with the mouse.

As mentioned earlier the mouse is similar to using a Wii, with one difference the Wii pointer only goes to where you aim the control. This mouse works with relative motion to move the cursor. Imagine you just scrolled the cursor to the far right corner of your monitor, you can keep moving your mouse further right but the cursor won't move any further. That means if you did a 180° then you'd still be controlling the mouse even though you are now facing the wall. This makes navigation a little frustrating. Add to that the mouse's sensitivity mixed with no stabilization makes clicking and dragging a chore. Never realized I had a shake in my hands until I held this remote. I remedied this by simply disabling the mouse in Windows. I realized I wasn't using it so I disabled it.

The last thing I had issues with was that there is no real concrete instruction manual. Just some small quick start guide. After spending some time with it, I rather enjoyed experience.

u/lxlqlxl · 1 pointr/buildapc

Ok, so wow. Then you definatly do not need a sound card. The onboard sound will be fine. Unless you are going to spend 300 to 400 just on the speakers themselves, it will not even begin to be worth it. The z906 set will run about 340, and they should be fine with just about any board, at min I would suggest the gd65 which is about 180, the maximus gene is about 200, but it is mATX.

The keyboard and mouse, I am not sure about mechanical, I will have to see if they have one at bestbuy or something to try one out. I personally use the logitech wave set, this set http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Cordless-Desktop-Ergonomic-Keyboard/dp/B001DJ9GOS/ref=pd_sim_sbs_e_4 it comes with the mx 1100 mouse. I paid around 100 for mine about 2+ years ago. Not changed the batteries in the keyboard once, and the mouse Every 2 or 3 weeks I plug it into the usb cord that comes with it, and charge it for about 6 to 8 hours and it's good to go, hell it is likely a lot longer than 2 or 3 weeks, I never pay attention, when ever it starts blinking red, or the icon pops up saying battery low, I plug in the cord. The battery in the mouse is removable. It is a single AA rechargeable battery. It's a pretty solid set.

Check out the z906 set and see if that is something you would like. That is about the best set I can think of that would fit into your price range without downgrading some other parts.

Another bit of advice is to use "Hide desktop icons". Mostly because all of those icons get to be distracting.

Bring your own remote. Even if the venue assures you that they will provide one, you should bring your own. I have been using a "Rii 2.4G Mini Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad,Laser Pointer with Remote Control" for presentations, and when teaching. It has a USB transmitter that is concealed in the keyboard, so you don't lose it easily. It's not Bluetooth, so it will work on PCs without Bluetooth. It's a fully functional keyboard with a (kinda lousy) touchpad mouse, and it has a red laser pointer. Its wireless control range is pretty good (It works while walking in the back of the classroom). The keys are a bit hokey, but still sufficient for typing in a URL. Make sure you buy the one with the laser.

It fits in one hand, and the battery lasts forever (I only had to charge it twice during a semester teaching gig). It does go into standby too quickly, so it's good to press a button once in a while, so it stays awake (it consumes the button press). I also bring it to tech support assignments, because I can plug it into the client's PC and move their mouse, etc, while they are sitting at their desk.

If your presentation has videos, and you think you'll be streaming them from the 'net, consider downloading the videos, to play them locally. Again, your venue might swear that they'll supply a network connection, but sometimes it is really bad. I also bring a USB drive with Portable SM Player on it, so I have my own video player, and don't have to wait for "searching for codec" in the middle of a presentation. Portableapps.com also has 'portable' versions of Firefox and Chrome that will run from a USB drive, and don't leave files behind. You can have your own browser with all of the correct settings and shortcuts, dedicated to your presentation needs only. Keep it updated separately. (note: running from a USB can make a browser a bit laggy)

Bring an extension cord. The Marriott will have one outlet in the room, and it will be too far away.

Linus Tech Tips tried out some of the Amazon Basics keyboards and mice and felt they really didn't stand up compared to other affordable stuff. I'd definitely consider spending a little more on the bits of the PC he's actually physically interacting with (especially as this build is so under budget. FWIW, the actual PC's performance should be great for his needs. If you want to keep them really low price then this combo should meaningfully improve on the basic's combo in features and comfort for an extra $10 dollars (unless he has larger hands in which case the mouse might be too small for him.) https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-MK345-Wireless-Combo-Right-Handed/dp/B00QXT5T3U/ref=sr_1_1?fst=as%3Aoff&qid=1555933311&rnid=172456&s=computers-intl-ship&sr=1-1

I have not gone very deep into this search though. What I'd suggest is that you do that yourself WITH your father as each device feels better or worse depending on whose hand it's in.

I use a 24" Hannspree LCD TV HSG 1074. I'm hoping to keep it for now and then get a nicer monitor in the future.

With the quality of my tv I decided that there wouldn't be any point to having a more powerful GPU than could actually be noticed. The graphics card that I have on the list right now should be more than powerful enough to play most games at 1080p at 60fps so I couldn't notice a difference. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

I am looking for a new mouse and keyboard, I am currently using a Logitech G500 and the keyboard from Logitech MX550 Bundle. I was thinking of getting the Proteus RGB since the old one is discontinued and like $110 - 120, and I have no idea on a keyboard I want reds or browns and I want a back light, except I don't want it to be red I, care little about RGB I would prefer a white back light honestly and be able to dim it when I go to sleep, if it ends up being a RGB keyboard that is fine but I do want a dimming function. I do appreciate any help that is provided.

I use the Blue Tooth version of this one. I used it on my Fire Stick 1st gen prior to getting a shield, and it worked just fine (works fine on the Shield as well). It may come w/ a dongle (mine did for some reason)... but I didn't need it, and just connected to it via the internal Blue Tooth on the Firestick/Shield. Has a nice back light (important for me), buttons are responsive... I like it a lot. I bought two, 1 blue, 1 white. Other than opening the blue one to test it... It sits in a box. I use the white one pretty heavily so I didn't expect to get much more than a 5-6mo out of it, but Iv'e had it going on 8mo, w/o issue.

I'm running 17 right now with my Logitech 310. But I also have a wireless keyboard controller I use for Kodi. Makes it SO MUCH EASIER. You can get them on Amazon for less than 20 bucks. Stays charged forever and works great with Kodi. If you're gonna use Kodi more than a few times a month, invest in a separate controller just for it. This is the one I got. Not fancy, 16 bucks, holds a charge forever and hasn't broke yet.

u/John_Barlycorn · -13 pointsr/ShieldAndroidTV

The only gaming most people use it for is Emulators. You could probably count the number of android TV games that are actually worth playing on one hand. The geforce now thing... I'm not sure why anyone would want to do that. Even if it worked correctly, it just doesn't seem all that appealing to me.

Most of the vendor streaming apps like Amazon Prime are... half assed. Most people use it for Kodi and Youtube. It's sad that a half-assed pirate app has a better UI that Amazon Prime, Netflix and Youtube, but that's a fact.

The controller and remote suck. Well, ok, people will disagree with that if they're not power users. The Shield is a device for people who want to tinker and control their own content. If you want it to just go and don't mind someone else controlling your experience, you should get rid of it and get a Firestick or something.

But if you're really going to use it correctly you need:

  • Powered USB hub
  • USB mic of some kind, an old webcam will work (so you don't need the remote mic) There is one video conferencing app for Google TV. I forget the name of it. But with any mic plugged into USB you can hit the voice search button, speak, and the webcam or whatever will pick it up.
  • Flirc This receives IR commands from any remote, then converts them to Keyboard commands sent to the shield. You can therefor setup anything you want, including multi-command macros and trigger them with a push of a button. You'll need to set it up though. But it's not hard.
  • Cheap Harmony remote so you can control every IR device you have inlcuding the Flirc (and therefor the shield). There's already a Flirc profile in the Harmony software.
  • Bluetooth game pads if you want to do gaming. The shield controllers are just too damned expensive to buy 4, and offer no real advantage. I just got 4x cheap matricom controllers and they work great.
  • Wireless keyboard of some sort. You don't need this often, but when you do, you do.
u/SteadyMercury1 · 1 pointr/xboxone

My wife took to mouse and keyboard like it was nothing. I have a lot of trouble with it outside of RTS/MMO etc. I grew up with a controller though and she only had a few years of muscle memory to retrain.

If you have to sit far away from your computer just pick up a cheap Logitech or Microsoft wireless USB keyboard, nothing fancy. You can pull that off for under $30.00 on Amazon. If you sit closer try a wired set and it might be a bit cheaper + no batteries.

The lapdocks and such you see advertised by Razor, Logitech, Corsair etc. are expensive. Don't buy one if you don't know if you'll stick to a keyboard setup. You can get the "feel" for mouse and keyboard just fine on a plain old setup and spring for better stuff when sales come along if you want to stick with it.

For setup and end table and chair might do for a temporary/trial period. I've used a chair and living room table to play PC games on my TV downstairs. Obviously, much easier if you game at a desk.

I'm thinking about buying this, myself. I like the fact that it has a backlight and the price is right. I can't say I trust that Amazon reviews of products like this aren't written by a lot of people who received the product in exchange for writing a positive review, though.

u/NerdVsGeek · 1 pointr/woodworking

I think the wood to use would depend greatly on the the design. If you're going for an all-in-one design that is common, where the mouse buttons are part of the upper surface (last link), you'll want something that has good bending/springiness to it.
There are some wooden mice already on the market and you could look at their designs to see what you like and don't:

u/SeiraBlack · 1 pointr/razer

For work (not gaming) this is what we use, but the mouse is utter crap and we usually toss it in a pile.

It uses the Logitech unifying receiver too which works great if you're running one of their mice. Have yet to have any issues with the keyboard, they've been bullet proof, and the low profile keys are a great typing experience.

u/harmor · 2 pointsr/buildapc

I don't know why but the Logitech Wave Pro I bought for $70 is now close to $190.

The MX1100 mouse that comes with it is the most comfortable mouse I've used and the keyboard isn't bad either but for price I would pass.

u/rocketmonkeys · 1 pointr/xbmc

Yeah, it stinks. If they simply did this right (ie. remember the mouse setting on wakeup), it'd be great! But as is, it's very confusing/hard to use, especially for other family members.

I have a rii mini keyboard w/ trackpad. It works ok, but has awful range (across the room, 10ft, has issues depending on how I hold it). The whole point of this remote is 1) true remote buttons (pause, up, down, etc), and 2) a real keyboard/mouse. But if I can't get both, I'm better off having separate remote + keyboard, and only pickup the keyboard when I need to use that. It's too bad xbmc can't use amazon/hulu, or I really wouldn't need a keyboard to begin with.

My other option was a tivo slide (http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HC2XTMA/), but I think that does not have a mouse. I could try to remap things, but that would be a little clunky.

So I think I'm back to square one. Maybe another one of these similar remote/keyboard/airmouse combos, like the

u/FIuffyRabbit · 2 pointsr/MechanicalKeyboards

Yes and no. It really depends on what keyboard he currently has. If it is something like this, it is .5" smaller in width and 2.5" smaller in height.

Edit: Amazon was including total package size.

This one is probably a better comparison. 1.5" smaller width and .5" smaller height.

u/Rothmorthau · 1 pointr/htpc

u/straighttoplaid · 1 pointr/CabaloftheBuildsmiths

If you want as small as possible without taking up much desk space you'll either be looking at all-in-ones or mini pcs that can attach to the vesa mount on the back of a monitor. Mini pcs often come barebones meaning they do not have ram or a harddrive.

Here is an i3 nuc that has wireless, Bluetooth, etc i3 nuc

That costs about £250. A ddr4 8gb sodimm stick of ram and 250gb m.2 ssd can be had for less than £150. ram and drive

You should be able to get monitors with a vesa mount on the back fairly cheap, around £100 (like this one ) and a wireless keyboard and mouse for less than £40 (like these )

All told that would be £540 or so for hardware, give or take a little bit. It would get you machines that would do well at office tasks without taking up any desk space. With the wireless keyboards and mice the only required wires would be for power, Ethernet, and a short cable to connect to the monitor.

I would caution that you may be limited moving the license for Windows license. You may need to buy another copy of Windows for each machine but it looks like an oem disk of 10 pro is only £45 on Amazon uk.

u/TheFeshy · 2 pointsr/Addons4Kodi

I had the remote you linked, and I threw it out. I found it awful, which surprised me because in so many ways it was almost awesome. But the keyboard is missing many of the keys I would need for the command line on the linux OS that kodi is running on, it was fussy abut picking up keys unless I was very close, there's no way to turn the mouse off and so it comes on every time you touch the remote and puts a cursor in your screen, and there's no stop button. How does someone make a media remote with no stop button?!

Anyway, this isn't an empty rant, I found this very similar remote for a very similar price that fixes all of these issues. The two problems it has is that the "back" button doesn't map to the right button, so doesn't work in all cases unless you remap it, and the first button you press wakes up the remote instead of actually sending the command. So it isn't perfect, but it worked for me a lot better than the other one you linked.

As a bonus, it can be used as a game controller if you run emulated game consoles launched from Kodi.

because it's not. It's this complete nightmare. Or a variation thereof, at least. OP can chime in if he wants to but I'd bet money that's an off the shelf disgusto-beast.

Here you go, OP. Found your next keyboard

My TV remote has a qwerty keyboard on the back, so when I want to search for something or log in to an app, I don't have to press the arrows a million times to type with the onscreen keyboard.

Edit: remote

I use this

It's a mini keyboard and a IR remote so you can turn on the TV too

I had one, too. I tried to use it for my HTPC and the mouse was really shitty.

I replaced it with this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BQU9NVK/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Pretty happy so far.

Keyboard: Wood (Bamboo) Keyboard

Mouse: Uh, Some logitech cheapie (corded) - the model number is long worn off.

Monitors: 2x Dell Ultrasharp 23" , 1x Dell Ultrasharp 27" (primary)

Chair: Herman Miller Aeron

Headphones: Shure SRH840 (big & comfy, and isolate very well - circum-aural as I can't stand having things press on my ears for long)

Mic: Clip-on no-name cheapie. Still sounds decent.

PC Spec, fwiw: Intel i5 Gen 3 ~2Ghz, 16GB RAM, AMD R9 270 2GB, 256GB OCZ Vertex 3 (maybe 4) 256GB.

(I'm not infront of it at the moment, and I've long stopped memorising model numbers of everything I own)

That's even a 'large' one (it's still p small), with kb about the size of a laptop so you can really type on it. I have one like this I use as my primary HT controller which is the size of a remote control and fits in my pocket if I needed. It's plenty good enough for everything but typing long winded bullshit.

I have this (but only just got it and my Fire Stick a few weeks ago) and no complaints so far. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GCPVZDW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_cxLHybDT9P473

I have the MI box and just received the Rii mini i8+ bluetooth keyboard. After several attempts, pts I can not connect bluetooth to the Mi box. Box sees it but will not pair, yet pairs in seconds with Samsung TV tablets phones . No problem
Anyone else try a Bluetooth accessories and get them working onow the new MI box.

In a bit I'll be purchasing a few upgrades for my set up and considering some of the issues I've been having with my wireless set up, I figured adding a good wired mouse/keyboard to my shopping list would not be a bad idea, if not entirely essential.

Currently I have the Logitech MX5500, which went for about $100 at the time. They were perfect for my initial purpose which was mainly work with AutoCAD and SketchUp. I've had no issues with the hardware its self but rather constant problems with the drivers and their compatibility with Windows 8.1. Combining that along with the lack of a numlock key (its a calculator instead) and latency issues, I would never recommend this set up for gaming... Hence my desire to replace it.

I've looked a bit into new keyboards in the past week, but my research has been limited due to being over booked between my work (80 hour weeks this month), the streams, and moving. I know that Mechanical keyboards are practically guaranteed to produce some sort of sound with a Yeti mic, especially when trying to pick up multiple people at once... Which is a shame. That's about as far as I got.
