Oh man. Brace yourselves, I am a total Amazon junkie. (Note: These may not all be BIFL, but I'm responding to the OP in specific.)

  • $9 butter keeper. (I bought a slightly different one that's no longer available, but it's the same basic design.) Keeping butter that isn't for cooking or baking in the fridge is for chumps. Mine is always perfectly spreadable room temperature while staying fresh for weeks... sometimes months.

  • $9 TV antenna. I didn't own a TV until a few years ago, and it didn't have a built-in antenna. I don't watch much broadcast TV, so I grabbed the cheapest one I could find. Case in point for why digital is better than analog, this one picks up every digital channel perfectly.

  • $13 shoe rack (now $18). Over the past year of living in this flat, I'd developed a bad tendency of kicking my shoes off at the bottom of the stairs just inside the front door. This looked like a cheap piece of shit, but I figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. Now almost every single pair of shoes I own is in one spot where it's easy to grab—and, more importantly, everything's out of the way of people coming in and out of the house.

  • $14 jug of earplugs (50 pair). Essential for sleeping with the window open in loud neighborhoods, sharing rooms with snoring friends on a trip, or sharing beds with snoring dudes or gals you're sleeping with. These were also my go-to earplugs for shows until I got a pair that's better for listening to music.

  • $22 electric kettle. The coffeemaker in our office puts out water that isn't nearly hot enough for a proper cuppa, and I got sick of microwaving it to boiling a mug's worth at a time. No bells and whistles, but it's performed perfectly since day one, with no breaking-in period like you get with kettles that have plastic parts in contact with the water.

  • $32 32'/10m HDMI cable. Ran it between the computer in my bedroom and the TV in my living room, allowing me to watch all kinds of streaming TV and downloaded videos with friends in a spot more comfortable than standing in front of my desk.

  • Slightly over the $50 limit, but $53 space heater. My best friend and roommate is one of those dudes who's built like a furnace, and our place uses radiators for heat. We had a few days of him sweating his ass off even with the thermostat set to 68, before I realized that we could just turn it way the hell down, and I could heat my own bedroom separately. This sucker dumps out a ton of heat, with a slew of features to sweeten the deal (my favorite being the remote control).

  • Another that's slightly over, but $55 garment steamer. Collapses small enough to fit pretty much anywhere I've ever needed to store it, puts out steam within maybe 30 seconds of turning it on, and with a full tank has enough water to steam as many items as I've ever needed to do in a row. I haven't touched my iron once since I bought this thing, and my only regret is not buying one as soon as I started college over a decade ago.

And, saving the best for last:

  • $43 heated footrest. Hands-down, this is one of the best things I've ever bought in my life. I was looking for an unobtrusive, unobnoxious way to help myself stay warm in the office, which tends to be chillier than my taste year-round. When I opened it up, I was skeptical, since it looked like a cheap injection-molded piece of shit. Now, I'm pretty sure I'd rescue it from a fire before my mother. I don't want to imagine ever trying to get through another winter without it.

EDIT: As requested by /u/Mogrix, I posted List Part II: Electric Boogaloo, with more items from my Amazon history.

For Curtains: I love this fabric http://www.joann.com/home-decor-sheer-fabric--iman-zahra-leaf-luna/13072806.html#start=9 - It's sheer and bright.

As for placement: I agree keep the couch where it is, but maybe take the blanket off the seat cushions and fold it neatly on the back of the couch?

Place some decorative throw pillows on the couch and scoop chair : maybe these? http://www.amazon.com/Pillow-Perfect-Decorative-Damask-Square/dp/B0062YKBKW/ref=sr_1_17?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416252112&sr=1-17&keywords=throw+pillows or these http://www.amazon.com/ElleWeiDeco-Modern-Cadetblue-Damask-Pillow/dp/B0036J86NA/ref=sr_1_179?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416252361&sr=1-179&keywords=throw+pillows

For above the couch you can either buy some canvas wall art or you can search some of your local shops for cheap basic wooden canvas or frames and cover them with fabric you like and stapling them on the back. http://www.brit.co/fabric-canvas-art/

Other items: Near the entry way where the plant is sitting on the floor, Can you hang the bike there? Not too high, just keeping the tires a few inches from the floor.

How to hang a bike: http://www.treehugger.com/slideshows/interior-design/10-ways-hang-your-bike-wall-work-art/

TV: I would wall mount the TV high (eye level when standing) between the windows and hide the cords, you can fish them through the wall or get a kit to run them alongside the window frame and down to the outlet. I would aslo place a floating shelf under the tv for your dvd player and other media: http://www.amazon.com/Southern-Enterprises-Chicago-Floating-24-Inch/dp/B004Z2N6AU/ref=sr_1_3?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416251794&sr=1-3&keywords=floating+shelf

Here are a few ways to hide the cords: http://www.ehow.com/how_5163459_hide-wall-mount-tv-cables.html

I would move the trunk and place it on the floor below the TV.

Take the electrical spool and stain/paint as you mentioned in one of the comments and use it as your coffee table.

Take the plant from the floor by the entryway and place it on a decorative stand in front of the window where the bike was with a few other plants you have: http://www.amazon.com/Gifts-Decor-Rustic-Finish-Planter/dp/B008YQ57QE/ref=sr_1_5?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416251930&sr=1-5&keywords=plant+stand

I would ditch the small book shelf by the door. Place a wall mount book shelf above where the bike is hung and another small one above the scoop chair on the shared wall with the kitchen. Go to a local consignment shop and look for some nick knacks and things that speak to you to use as book ends or get a shelf with ends like this: http://www.amazon.com/Set-Floating-Shelves-Walnut-Finish/dp/B008AD0JAA/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416253781&sr=1-1&keywords=wall+shelf

I would hang wall mount coat hooks above where the book shelf was by the door and sit a small shoe rack on the floor. Like this: http://www.amazon.com/Amerock-H55662-MORB-27-Inch-Mahogany-Oil-Rubbed/dp/B003UYU1LQ/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1416254946&sr=1-1&keywords=coat+hooks and http://www.amazon.com/ClosetMaid-Stackable-Horizontal-Organizer-Espresso/dp/B001UTRUOY/ref=sr_1_2?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416255049&sr=1-2&keywords=small+shoe+rack

Leave the dining table where it is. Above the dining set I would look for a brightly colored wood or canvas painting or funky clock.

Maybe: http://www.amazon.com/Today-New-Wood-Wall-Marla/dp/B00JRC24QA/ref=sr_1_16?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416253056&sr=1-16&keywords=canvas+wall+art

It looks like there is a guitar in a case in the corner by the bike/window... If so, maybe take it out of the case and display it on a stand- it'll be easy to access for random play time and look cool when not in use.

I know you only mentioned the living room, but I can't help but notice the kitchen. I see you have what looks like a small strip of drywall between the tile above the sink and the start of the sloped ceiling. Maybe place a wall mount paper towel holder on the strip above the sink? http://www.amazon.com/interDesign-Classico-Mount-Holder-Chrome/dp/B00004XSFE/ref=sr_1_7?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1416252733&sr=1-7&keywords=wall+mount+paper+towel+holder

Buy 2 of the wall mount towel holders. Use one over the faucet for paper towles and put the other one to the left of the sink above the counter. Use S-Hooks to hang you coffee/tea cups there.

To the right of the sink between the sloped ceiling and the window? it looks like you have a little bit of was space. Maybe add some small floating shelves there to help keep items off the countertop.

Intsead of the metal dish rack I would place a brightly colored drying mat to the right of the sink and put the cutting board where the dish rack was. This will help give you some counter space to prepare meals and drinks.

I made this. The dimensions aren’t perfect but might help see a different way. https://imgur.com/a/XHTquaV so just some thoughts. Move things up walls for space. The glass enclosed dresser doesn’t look easily used. Move the desk over into the corner and move the tall dresser were the glass front one is. The chest and case on it are rough and not very functional. I’d get them out at least while figuring everything out. If you can add shelves or cubes above your side table that would add space. They would need to be screwed in. If you can’t then skip that. Hanging laundry baskets or use a shelf with a couple storage bins to toss laundry in. Depending on measurements possibly something like this on the glass front furniture. C&AHOME Cube Storage Organizer, 8- Cube DIY Plastic Closet Cabinet, Modular Book Shelf Organizer Units, Storage Shelving Ideal for Bedroom Living Room Office with Doors, Black https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XFHW6LK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_fX7RDbR8FS51M shelves with storage cubes, containers or such is another option. Add shelves above the desk. Again bins, tubs, cubes even paper organizers can be used. Dollar stores can give extra options. Don’t consider things exclusive. I needed a closed container to hold chopsticks. I bought a pasta container. Think about how to move things up. Think about how you like things for ease. I like doors but for example some cubes come with or without drawers. Under the bed- I’d consider it storage. It doesn’t look convenient day to day. Under there you want to put this. DampRid FG60FS Moisture Absorber, Fresh Scent, 10.5-Ounce, 2-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CBLW1MQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_L37RDb41XX5VS put reminders in your phone and empty it every few days until you know how much water it absorbs. You replace the crystals every so often. Keep it away from pets. Damp rid will grab tons of moisture but while you’re checking everything out make sure you don’t see signs of a pipe leak. Mold, soft walls, moisture and bad smells pay attention to. Other type cube options but not this brand ClosetMaid 8937 Cubeicals Organizer, 9-Cube, Espresso https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001UU0NJW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_G87RDbVTHK1NV

Whitmor Storage Cubes - Stackable Interlocking Wire Shelves - Black (Set of 6) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007ELALZC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_Y77RDbMDF1414

There’s also things like this if you have space. SIMPDIY Portable Shoe Rack Storage Organizer Shoe Box Storage System with Doors, Shoes,Accessories - Black (2x6 with Boots Cube 93x126x108cm/37x15x50In) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07PZ6K548/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_3-7RDbVY3FSB5

Don’t forget what you choose should work for you. So even something like kids toy storage might work better for some. Like this. Tot Tutors WO498 Elements Collection Wood Toy Storage Organizer, X-Large, Grey/Blue/Green/Yellow https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07638ZJQY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_.b8RDb5P0ZMB6 or this Delta Children Deluxe Multi-Bin Toy Organizer with Storage Bins , Grey/Blue https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074PY2ZGS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_Gc8RDb9CTVC9T there’s stuff like this. LANMOK 3pcs Hanging Mesh Storage Basket Foldable Space Saving Toy Organizer with 3pcs S Hooks for Kids Room Bathroom Wall Balcony Wardrobe https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07H9VBKW6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_yd8RDbW8NAFWA

Basically storage needs to go up. Bed drawers don’t work in large rooms so use for storage. Put damp rid out. Make sure no leaks. For me the idea is enclosed. Choose what works for you. Don’t forget if the idea of doors on storage cubes don’t work for you that you can use a curtain to cover it if you don’t want others to see. The idea is finding what works for you. If you move things and have a wall space open buy taller items. I’ve been redoing a smaller space so feel free to ask if you need some other suggestions.

Edit another idea is move that wood dresser to the window like in diagram, glass one next to it and cubes where the wood one is now.

Glad I could help!

And yeah if you have the space for it, it's definitely much better than mixing things and trying to find, say, all 3 drone batteries, remote, sd card, bag etc.

Better to just open a little compartment and it's all there, and when you're done just throw it all back in.

When I start to live in my own place, I think I'm going to set up a dedicated wall where I put something like this floor to ceiling (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074GY2P7N/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Pi.-Bb260RZM7)

Although I'd prefer concealed labeled drawers, not open space.

u/Annemi · 1 pointr/cats

Possible causes:

  1. Boredom. How much do you play with her during the day? Do you rotate her toys, does she have a window perch and places to climb on, have you tried bird videos, etc? Could you leave out cups full of toys she likes for her to knock over?

  2. Something is seriously disturbing her, she needs comfort and/or is misdirecting her aggression because she can't get at the cause. Did someone new move in recently, to your place or a place she can hear or smell? Is there an aggressive dog or cat in the area she can see going through 'her' territory or marking it? How much time per day do you spend cuddling her and talking to her? Are you stressed out because of something that happened in the past month - pets pick up on that easily?

  3. Cats have preferences just like people. You can't just get a generic scratching post and expect that to work. It would be so much easier if we could. Could you get one with the texture you know she likes?

I once was at my wits end and made a scratching post by stapling a material my cat liked to the sides and back of a wood shoe stand, like this one but half the size: https://www.amazon.com/ClosetMaid-8983-Stackable-15-Unit-Organizer/dp/B002IT6E6A/ Worked great, saved our carpet.

  4. Catnip doesn't work on all cats, but there are alternatives: http://www.catster.com/lifestyle/cat-behavior-tips-humor-stoned-totally-legal

  5. Has she been to the vet since this behavior started? Have you done bloodwork, checked for parasites, etc? I would try the other options first to see if you can troubleshoot this without a vet visit, but there could be something wrong physically.

Last but not least, Prozac is available for cats. Also calming pheremones like Feliway and other over the counter things you can try without going to the vet. Mental health issues aren't confined to just humans.

Your closet sounds similar to mine.

We bought these and they work great and fit on the shelves quite well. Perfect for jeans! I can fit 6 pairs of my jeans and my husband can fit 4 of his. He’s a bit taller than me.

https://www.target.com/p/river-birch-y-weave-medium-green-room-essentials-153/-/A-53764194

They’re also good for sweaters and long sleeve shirts. I purchased a smaller size for tees and tanks.

There is room to hang clothes under the bottom shelf in our closet. Instead of hanging clothes I put a shoe rack there and a low and kinda wide plastic set of drawers.

We already had our shoe rack, but it’s similar to this.

https://www.amazon.com/20-Pair-Storage-Organizer-Entryway-Stackable/dp/B01LXRS4SI/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=shoe+rack&qid=1550509915&s=gateway&sr=8-4

My plastic drawer set is one piece, but the size of like two of these put together. (I found mine at TJ Maxx and haven’t seen another one in store or online.)

https://www.amazon.com/Honey-Can-Do-3-Drawer-Plastic-Storage-Wheels/dp/B009INB22K/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=plastic+drawers+wheels&qid=1550510086&s=gateway&sr=8-4

Something like this may work well for you too.

https://www.amazon.com/Sterilite-29308001-Drawer-Drawers-Casters/dp/B000MPQ2S2/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?keywords=plastic+drawers+wheels&qid=1550510086&s=gateway&sr=8-3

I know you said they take up too much space on racks, but I have a 7 tier rack I got off Amazon that holds a TON of shoes and has a cover that zips shut to help keep them clean and I love it. And the same company makes taller ones that have even more racks if you need. I can store way more on these than I had originally thought I could. Might be worth at least checking out!

Link: https://www.amazon.com/SONGMICS-Portable-Storage-Organizer-URXJ12H/dp/B00XXS14JW/ref=sr_1_14?keywords=shoe+rack+songmics&qid=1562684050&s=gateway&sr=8-14

u/alongstrangetrip · 0 pointsr/malefashionadvice

If this is your room: buy a shoe rack and a hamper. When you start to clean, make your bed first then move on to everything else. Before bringing in a new style, make sure your room is organized.

I don't think you need to shave, your beard grows in nicely. If it was patchy I would suggest shaving. I agree with others about sizing. Take your measurements and write them down. Read through the sidebar of building a basic wardrobe and understanding color. I like the color of your shirt and pants, so perhaps start looking for a new style in those kinds of colors.

Lastly, save this as your before picture. Post updates when you find an outfit you like.

u/MrsGunMeat · 2 pointsr/TheGirlSurvivalGuide

I definitely second getting rid of unused stuff. I try to do that every 6 months or so.

Maybe form a compromise with your boyfriend and turn the office into an office/dressing room. It would benefit him as well by helping keep your room cleaner. You can have a wardrobe in there or build a cubby type thing in there. Or go to ikea and pick up one of these:

http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/10196431/#/20255590

It's affordable and really useful for organizing. You can get bins that fit in each cubby. That way you can have a bin for each accessory. a few for bags, one for scarves, etc. You can organize each purse bin by color or by the type of bag. That way you will know where to look for something specific.

http://www.amazon.com/ClosetMaid-15-Cubby-Shoe-Organizer-White/dp/B002IT6E6A
You can pick up something like that for your shoes and stash it in a closet or in the dressing room. It organizes and you can still stack things on it or hang things over it.

>Who pays 7.4 cents per KWh? lol you are a lucky dog brother!

The 7.4 cents per KWh plan I am on was a 24 month fixed rate plan I signed up for in June 2017 so I have seven more months on that plan. If I were to renew right now it would only increase to 8.7 cents per KWh. As for those who don't live in Texas, where we have deregulated our electric grid, and have to pay outrageous costs for electricity I do feel sorry. Maybe they should take their complaints to their local politicians and ask why they can't do what Texas does.

https://ourenergyllc.com/prodox/EFLS/oct18/ONC12FIXALLADVANTAGEPLUS-10252018-1.pdf

3500 KWh's: 3500 * $0.0854 + $5.99 = $304.89 take that and divide by 3500 you get 8.71 cents per KWh.

>Plus the rest of the rig is approx $500 more

What!!!. Who pays $500+ for a rig minus GPU's?

My Rig:

ASRock H110 PRO Motherboard: $23.28

Celeron G3930 with Heatsink/Fan: $33.50

Over the door everything. It's not the most visually appealing look, but it's the best way to maximize your storage space. My personal favorites are the shoe rack and the bathroom organizer. Spend the money for the good ones, not the cheap vinyl shoe bags.

HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY!!!

I'd love this or this and this please!

I want an early present!

I would really like this shoe rack because when my puppy wanders around my house he tends to go by the shoe area. The shoes are all on the floor so he has easy access. He either pees on them or chews. When he chews them he runs around the house when you try to take it away from him. This would help since the top shelves are too high for him to grab so he wont touch the shoes anymore.

Yay!

Just Amazon's cheap ones. The good thing about this one is that you could stack them as many as you want. A bit tricky with high tops tho (only top level can hold high tops). So if you have a lot of high tops I suggest getting something else. As for size, I wear 9.5. So i think it should be fine for size up to 12~13? I mean if you don't mind the rears of your shoes sticking out a little bit, you can put in whatever sizes you want.

u/Finetales · 2 pointsr/synthesizers

In addition to the poly Novations already mentioned (A-Station, KS Rack), the Bass Station rack, Super Bass Station, and D-Station all have plenty of knobs.

Other options include the Moog Slim Phatty (with 3U rack ears), Spectral Audio Neptune 2 and ProTone, PAiA Fatman, and lots of 1U 303 clones (Doepfer MS-404, MAM FreeBass 383, MAM MB33 mk1 and 2, Next! Superbass 4.4, Syntecno TeeBee, Control Synthesis Deep Bass Nine).

I'd imagine a good portion of the later E-mu rack modules with 6 knobs on the front would be decent to edit, same with the Access Virus Rack XL.

An alternative that would give you a bunch more options is to buy a 3-tier shoe rack like this one and put a bunch of desktop synths on it. It's been done before and it seems to work really well.

u/WithLinesOfInk · 2 pointsr/femalefashionadvice

We have 1 closet to share between two people- me and my husband. I hang dresses and skirts there. I have a door-mounted shoe rack on the back of the bedroom door, and hooks for purses, scarves, belts and jewelry on the walls in the bedroom. I have a single 3-drawer dresser for pants, shirts, cardigan and, underwear, and my nighstand is a tiny 2-drawer dresser for pajamas and leggings. Our bed has drawers under it where I store some of the sillier things like halloween costume pieces, or holiday gear, as well as bulky things like snow jackets. I had to downsize by about half when I moved into this place and I've never looked back!

u/jdroser · 2 pointsr/goodyearwelt

I just picked up this one from Amazon, mainly because it was highly rated by TheWirecutter. I’m pretty happy with it. Solid construction, can be put together in several configurations for different sizes of shoes/boots (especially if you get the two-pack). The width will fit three pairs of men’s shoes or boots on each level.

u/mobbito · 1 pointr/goodyearwelt

I use 2 of these shoe racks stacked on top of each other. not so great for boots but like the overall aesthetic. still looking for a better solution

I have enough shelving now, but when I was in school I had a cheap shoe rack like this one. Another great option for space saving is an over the door rack.

I gave it some feet to lift the back so I could put the power supply underneath. AND.. you get 2 racks so if you mess one up..

Its actually very sturdy and looks nice in person. I don't think I would travel with it, but it works great at home.

Probably not what you're looking for but I figure the more contributions the better.

You can put your more valuable shoes on the top shelves to avoid the pup going to town on them.

Nice, similar design to the one I bought off of amazon for $20.

Obviously doesn't look as nice as yours but mine lives in a coat closet so no biggie. If anyone's interested in one and has no carpentry skills or time, it works great.

I use shoe racks like this to store my long boxes. Works out pretty well, each "nook" can hold two 660 count boxes.

u/hawtp0ckets · 7 pointsr/BabyBumps

OP you've got this!

You can totally just do a mini-crib and they are suuuper cute, affordable, and you can usually use them as long as a standard sized crib.

Here's some cute ideas I saw that you might like.

I live in a 3 bedroom apartment with my in-laws and my sister-in-law so I feel you so much. My husband and I just have our little bedroom and bathroom that is "ours".

I've utilized lots of little space-saving tools and ideas:

  • I got rid of any unused furniture, items, or pieces of clothing. These are just wasted space! Get rid of them. Donate them or sell them for some extra cash.

  • I'm using a crib with a changing table attached. It doesn't take up too much space. My crib also has storage under the changing table portion and under the actual crib. So I can store blankets, clothes, whatever I need to here!

  • I got a shoe rack like this one that hangs on the inside of my closet door. This way our shoes are off the floor and hanging in a space that wasn't previously being used.

  • I have floating shelves like these so you can store extra stuff on them either in the bedroom, bathroom, over the changing table, etc!
u/Cats_are_liquids · 4 pointsr/boardgames

Those that are actively being used for D&D, Frostgrave, Gloomhaven, or whatever current game we're playing I keep them in Letter Trays except the taller ones go on Spice Racks on a shelf all near the gaming table for easy access. The rest go on this Shoe Rack in a seperate room until they are needed.

u/quinnundine · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

This would be cool

You could store them length wise and get quite a good amount in there, and it should be big enough to store controllers, cables, the system if need be, etc.

u/bonersaurus-rex · 3 pointsr/goodyearwelt

I have 3 of these (just added a third...damn this sub!). They look nice and do the job. Two are side by side, and I stacked the third on top of one. I'm sure in the next year I'll need another.

The rack is from Amazon. I switch out shoes on the rack maybe once a week.

The rest of my shoes are in my closet. Couldn't get the entire wall in the shot, but that's some of it.

Yeah, I got three of these that stack nicely. I can fit 3 pairs of boots (11.5) on shelf if I alternate direction on every other shoe.

They are bamboo and the finishing is not great. They're kind of splintery. I got a sliver just from picking up a piece out of the box.

u/Non_Non_Non_Heinous · 2 pointsr/Sneakers

This shoe rack seems to be popular here (I've seen people ask about it often when small collections using it are posted) can be stackable, and doesn't break the bank.

Not sure of the budget, but another idea might be a sneaker cleaning set (brushes, wipes, and solution) from brands like Jason Markk or Crep, etc. ($30-$50 range)

u/orgodemir · 1 pointr/frugalmalefashion

I have these shoe racks. Incredibly easy to set up, fits 3 pairs side by side per rack. Sturdy and not bad looking.

u/copacabanas · 10 pointsr/declutter

I like this shelf for storing most of my shoes, i clipped off the hanging door part and just screwed it into a wall:

https://smile.amazon.com/Whitmor-Over-Rack-36-36-Pair-White/dp/B0019FOUQ0/ref=sr_1_10?crid=3IQ48DCP4SSQJ&keywords=hanging+shoe+organizer&qid=1556836083&s=gateway&sprefix=hanging+shoe+%2Caps%2C180&sr=8-10

However my three fanciest pairs of shoes do live in their shoebox full time. I like to keep them in boxes to keep them clean, and I always know where they are. Everything else goes on the rack.

u/rosie__ · 1 pointr/Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

It really drives me crazy cause it seems like I am constantly picking up someone's shoes.

Does anyone know of a shoe rack that is stackable (or at least very tall, since I have many shoes) and has shelves with enough clearance for men's ankle boots (i.e. 7-8" between shelves)? This seems surprisingly difficult to find. The closest thing I've seen so far is this but the reviews leave something to be desired and I'm not sure I could get away with stacking several of them. Any other ideas?

u/WolbachiaBurgers · 1 pointr/Sneakers

I bought one off Amazon too, you can check my post history for a pic while I look up the name but it’s a metal rack with adjustable shelves. Mine is made up of two separate shelves that stack.

The shelves are made by SONGMICS

u/FodderFigureIllushun · 1 pointr/declutter

I bought this shoe rack from Amazon.

I organize from top to bottom: boots, heels, wedges, flats, sneakers.

I try to only fill up at least five shelves because years ago I was a shoe addict and I realized that was such a waste of money for me.

Not having the rack filled to capacity means I can put my shoes wherever I want if I'm feeling lazy and organizing it nicely later on isn't a daunting task.
